Vacances Liquide

Just received my sample from an excellent eBay seller, and I have to say I love this scent! After the first couple of minutes, the initial tiare note subsides and the non sweet, organic coconut blended with a slight aquatic accord dominates my nose. From the middle notes down it indeed does have a mild similarity to Virgin Island Water, but definitely without the lemon-y aromatic notes of the Creed in my opinion. The base notes do show some resemblane to Virgin Island Water (when the lemons have somewhat disappeared from it)in the way coconut is blended. The coconut in Vacances Liquide is not artificial, sweet or sickening, but quite unisex and natural. In the drydown I swear I smell something woody. All in all, a nice summer fragrance, I wish I could sense the sea water note more, with maybe a touch of sand... I will try layering it with CB At the beach 1966 and report on the results. Now to find a bottle of this in the UK... EDIT: After many months of searcing high and low, I finally found a bottle, or should I say it found me? It is such an amazing summer scent, love it! I so wish the postal services in the UK realized that perfumes are an everyday necessity and not a potential military explosive in disguise; things would have been so much easier this way and all of us perfume lovers would be able to enjoy our beloved scents no matter if they are only available online to be posted from the other side of the globe... Sigh...

Ok so this is a beautiful tropical fragrance. Can compete with any of the niche powerhouses in my opinion. When first sprayed I get almost a Lira dupe with a hint of lemons but it seems to disappear and turns into a coconut floral. Lemons isn’t listed so I see why this transforms. It really is beautiful and I will be wearing this a lot in summer. Longevity is so so but I will wear with a body lotion underneath. Sillage is a good arms length and eventually sits close to skin. I am really happy I own this and I do recommend if it still is available. 7/10 longevity is not that great

Very summery and beachy. A great vacation scent. This fragrance is feminine, delicate, and just beautiful. I get the tiare flower which I love, and a hint of coconut but it isn't overly sweet or fruity. Thankfully I don't get any citrus at all. I layer it with a Bronze Goddess lotion and they go together perfectly. The only problem I have with this is the longevity. After a couple of hours it dries down to a skin scent. Nonetheless, I love it and I'm very happy to have it in my collection.

Hawaii in a bottle! Love love love! I live in Hawaii and there is nothing like the fragrant Tiare flower, this fragrance captures the alluring femininity of the Tiare and infuses lush coconut for a beautiful, rich, heavenly scent. It is not the cheap floral scents found at tourist traps, it is clearer and lusher...it mildly reminds me of Bobbi Brown Beach but more sophisticated...deepens beautifully in humid weather and would be a perfect remedy for winter blues...Enjoy!

I tried this today and it was pretty good. In the beginning it smelled like a good lemon lime fizzy soda, but not bad. It settled down into a smooth floral/coconut/vanilla. The coconut did not overwhelm it though. I sprayed Guerlain Terracotta on one arm and this on the other. The Terracotta faded after an hour and this just kept going. I know they don't have the same notes, but I discovered this amazing line and can't wait to explore it more.
