Massively underrated Oud/Rose fragrance! I came across this in a shopping mall, heavily discounted together with many other offerings from this brand and decided to give some of them a try. This and Era stood out to me personally because they just matched my taste the most. I bought this one impulsively and when I checked fragrantica, I was surprised to see almost no reviews. It opens up smoothly with some rose and florals, fairly sweet but not overly so. The transformation into the mid/base happens fairly quickly and after the initial sweet floral opening it quickly goes into a more woody, oudy base, reminding me a lot of not only many other rose/oud combos but specififally Oud Satin Mood but less sweet, and my beloved LV Ombre Nomade but smoother and softer. That being said though, both Oud Satin Mood and LV Ombre Nomade lasted longer on my skin as they're both serious powerhouses. This one is smoother and will last you easily throughout a day, but won't stick on your skin or clothes for days or even weeks. This one is also not as easy to overspray due to its' smoothness. Personally, I don't detect any Civet in this and Jasmin also not so much. Bottle design and packaging are beautiful, regular price at the mall I got it at was 195 Euros, which I find reasonable for a rose/oud scent. Considering MFKs cost about the same or slightly more for 70mls and LV is way beyond this price point for the same amount of fragrance, I'd consider this a good deal, even for the regular price, especially since I prefer this over Oud Satin Mood, which I also own. Overall it seems like a smoother, easily likeable and very sophisticated scent that people will definitely enjoy smelling. If some day Youtube-Reviewers stumble upon this, they might refer to it as "compliment beast" or "underrated gem" and although I could not yet confirm the first one, the last one definitely has some truth to it. If you're into this rose/oud style and you don't have a good one yet, this one is definitely one to consider, especially if you find it on sale. It is blind buy worthy as you're really getting what you'd expect it to smell like, with no surprises - neither in the notes, nor in the performance. I find this absolutely amazing and will wear it a lot this Winter, possibly more than some of my other Winter favorites. I will also put my planned LV Ombre Nomade purchase on hold as for now I have this and honestly, the difference is minimal. In fact, I prefer the bottle and wearability of this over LV's, mainly due to its' smoothness.

So, I am working through the new Memoize London Perfume Collection, and Im on day 2. Tristitia, Wow! wow! wow!! This one is so yummy I want to eat it! top notes of rose really come through, with delicate jasmine, and then the amber, patchouli and oud gently diffuse through. I hear the brand comes from the Team who ran Illuminum fragrance. Only these scents are proving more impressive!

Great Perfume!, strong rose/floral smell at the start (which i personally didint like at the start) but 15-30 mins away it transforms into a Oudy smell with a touch of vanilla, lasts all day long and projection is very long and sillage is strong, amazing but watch out its pretty heavy, not something you would like to wear in the summer , great for winter and fall

A patchouli oud with a kick of animalic civet in the opening. Imagine Noir de Noir with an animalic touch, less soapy floral and more woody depth. If you smell NdN and wished for bolder oud and added civet then this is for you. 8/10

Goes on lightly rosy, as in not a heavy or dark rose, and dries down to a musky, powdery side with an animalistic back note. It is relatively mild, so you don't have to worry about the notes mix per se, and the oud is just there for roundness. This is the last fragrance in their discovery set I'm blind testing, so compared to the others it is very low key. If it was t for the oud element and leaning animalistic musky it wouldn't even fit. The powdery musky rose element though is dare I say uninspiring? Smells old school, somewhat grandma, but with a funkiness from the musky oud. Another whiff later I get rose soap, probably due to the jasmine.This makes it lean sad face to me just slightly, simply because I'd pass it up even as a gift to somebody else. It does have longevity though. Definitely more interesting things out of this house than this one.

Sweet patchy oud, with rose and jasmine completely underneath the dominant woods. Smooth as a patchy oud can be. Develops into something even sweeter and somewhat softer, thanks to vanilla. This is potent, but not heavy or heady. A bit lower sillage, in my perception, anyway. Since I am neither a big fan of oud, nor patchouli, this is not for me. But I enjoy testing it for the quality. Perhaps I would like it better on a handsome swarthy man.
