Mercedes Benz CLUB

I’m not a expert in rhubarb notes . My first go around with rhubarb was with Lacoste L’homme extreme and for me it wasn’t a bad fragrance and it wasn’t good . And honestly with the first spray of Mercedes-Benz Club I felt the same way . But boy on boy was I wrong . After spraying it on and letting it settle the dry down was amazing on my skin . I received 2 compliments on the first wear and every now and then I would catch wafts of the fragrance as I walked and it was so enjoyable. It’s not super beastly but it definitely gets the job done on my skin .

MB Club is an excellent fragrance, it is to my nose very similar, although maybe even a little sweeter, richer and better performing than Dior Sauvage. It is a sweet/spicy rich fragrance which is totally masculine. Performance on my skin is excellent and it lasted for an entire day and I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. I have received several compliments on MB Club from the ladies.. I highly recommend MB Club, and it comes in a really cool sculptural bottle within a velvet sachet which looks great on a dresser ! Well Done!

Warm spicy,aromatic,woody Scents. I just have bought it and I think the scent is so great. It smells like synthetic scents. It has a lovable bottle. it opens Citruses and Sharp,then on the base note feels woodsy notes with rhubarb.it's a very long lasting fragrance.the sillage is moderate. certainly it's masculine.

this fragrance smells very fresh and fruity, inoffensive summer freshie with hints of berries, pepper and acquatic notes, i dont think i have smelled this dna in other fragrances, so perhaps its an original release.longevity though could be better... for the bottle and smell 7.5/10

just wonderfull!!!this is the most atractive smell for men(my opinion) after Dupont's PASSENGER and GUCCI POUR HOMME.the bottle is so heavy and in the same time so sexy...ohhh the juice inside is simply the best!!!MY FAVORITE RHUBARB FRAGRANCE!!!

Not gonna lie, this smells a little bit like Office for Men by Jeremy Fragrance. A little sharp and synthetic, heavy on ambroxen. Longevity is good and projection is medium. I like it. Highly versatile too.

The smell is strong. Wear it too much and too close to my nose it hurts my nose and smell like something from chemical lab. Spray it just a little and farther from my nose the smell is sweet and addictive.

Brilliant Freshie .. I stopped buying freshies cause I got bored with them (also had many) , but this I picked up on 1st sniff . This surely has amber in it which is not mentioned . 10/10 for me .

It's effecticely a nicely packaged, inoffensive dupe of Black XS, it isn't a fragrance you could love or hate, it's pleasant enough. For the price the quality is good.

I do see how this smells artificial, same kind that Polo red has, but I quite enjoy the nose sting. Very similar to how Paco robane black XS smells.

This fragrance is highly underrated,there hasnt been a time that I've worn this cologne and didn't get any compliments,they always ask what is that

This cologne is better and more masculine than Creed's Viking. I couldn't believe how similar they are. Viking has a floral dry down like an old bounce dryer sheet, while MB Club cuts to the chase and stays linear with the dry ambroxan and faded clean 7-up soda/cedar.. almost as if the perfumer distilled Armani code and removed 80% of the unneeded twang and was left with its base. Both are essentially ambroxan formulas. MB Club Natural is dry, dusty, hint of spiciness and is so subtle that it will only appeal to an mature audience that has "been there done that" with colognes. It's versatility is what's great. You're either gonna love it, hate it or keep smelling it while scratching your head. In a way, it reminds me of a wealthy European gentleman that is fed up with the bubble gum generation that our world has plundered itself into right now lol.. Oliver, the perfumer, definitely wanted to capture the design elements of what the Mercedes brand is about which is elegance, simplicity, and luxury.. I definitely laughed hard when I listened to the horrible reviews on YouTube which are complete garbage:) So I went right on eBay and purchased the deodorant and cologne for $45! This is after sampling last week Gannymede, Tom Ford Beaude Jour and Clive Christian 20th Aniversry Iconic LOL! How I even found this cologne was interesting because I had not walked in a JCPenney in like over 10 years and realized that Sephora was gone but still had a mock up of a fragrance/ beauty department corner and decided to start smelling the whole line of Mercedes-Benz cologne collection they had because I have heard good things about Mercedes club extreme. When I got to the MB club natural spray, I realized that I had found a gem :) What was crazy is that I thought it would be around $60 but nope, JCPenney is charging people $98 for this bottle! I Immediately opened up my eBay app and looked it up and Voilà! 45 bucks! So basically I purchased this for its quality and versatility and to even layer with other colognes that are fougere. I think it's great stuff👍 Buying this on eBay is like finding an old Mercedes classic car on craigslist for $1500 lol. Friggin awesome! Get your bottles now before Mercedes closes the door on this one and this thing will be $200 a bottle in a couple years.

Quite a tricky one this, took a few days of wearing before I could work it out. Starts off with a very cheap synthetic blast of standard woodsy fresh gents cologne. Within 2 minutes it settles into itself and becomes an aquatic fruity gloop. It's the oobarbar. I've found that rhubarb in scents has a very distinctive character, quite overpowering. With this there's not only the rhubarb but you get the warmth from the cardamom and the tonka bean. Yes the juniper is there but it can't compete with the rhubarb. After another 10 minutes you get the unmistakable ambroxan coming through, a musky sweet salty smell. With the rhubarb it all starts smelling quite sour. But it isn't actually a bad thing, it's quite intriguing. It reminds me a little of Hollister Festival Vibes, only a little, but the same kind of young trendy ballpark. Anyway, it's not a bad scent. Sillage is moderate with 2 sprays to the neck, longevity is excellent at about 13 hours. Wasn't sure at first but it's grown on me.

Sprayed on the back of my hand 7 hours ago, showered, and washed hands with soap and the scent is still here. Great performance pretty good smell just make sure not to overspray otherwise it will cause you a headache and is a nightmare to get off. 2 to 3 sprays is more than enough. Underrated if you ask me. Edit: have been using this a bit more and this is a beast. One spray on my arm at around 12 at night and I could still smell this at 4 in the afternoon the next day. It's honestly crazy how well this performs. Also the projection is amazing. This was still projecting strongly after 9 hours and that's no exaggeration this stuff is really strong and I have also noticed how strong the top note of rhubarb is and it's not very pleasant to smell. In the dry down or a few hours later it smells like a strong warm spicy soapy scent. And it is really nice. I'm intrigued to see how this compares to club Black.

At first spray you are greeted with a blast of citrus and a tart rhubarb accord tickles the nostrils, some spices come to the party and you are aware of a presence of juniper berries as you lay on your picnic blanket overlooking the ocean. After 20 minutes the funky earthy rhubarb has exited the scene and you are left with an ambroxan heavy orgy with delightful woods. Juniper berries are still dancing on your nostril hairs, the citrus fruits are staring at you from across the horizon. The sweetness is there and it's enticing to all of those who walk by you, Tonka bean says hello and all you can do is say hello back and smile. You pack up your picnic and get in your car. Your drive home is filled with thoughts of lovers past and what could of been but now you only need to focus on the present, Mercedes Benz Club has taught you that.

The most underrated cheapie fragrance, which will always be overlooked because of its much more popular counterpart, Mercedes-Benz Club Black. I think because of the great smell of Club Black, people expect it to be similar, or to expect much more, and thereby not give it a chance. But this fragrance is great. Performance is great for the price, with good longevity and sillage. A nice, clean and fresh scent, citrusy, green, aromatic and aquatic. A perfect scent for spring. And all this, the good performance, the great summer/fresh smell, combined with a great looking 75mL bottle, and tie up the ribbon with a extremely cheap price tag, only slightly more expensive than a 100mL Nautica Voyage, only a mile better. I might purchase soon.

In my collection, this falls right between Burberry Brit Rhythm Intense and Lucky Number 6. It has quite a bit of that ambroxan smell though, and I noticed it dries down to something similar to a spicy Sauvage. The combination of notes is similar to Polo Red with spicy peppers, pink pepper, and half sweetened pineapple instead of cranberry. Or possibly Lucky Number 6 intensified with pineapple, but less sweet. Rhubarb for me is no where near as strong as it is in other scents. Smells good to me so far though! I'll be keeping it for now, but eventually I'll probably force myself to choose between this and Brit Rhythm Intense. And this may win. Also: This is hard to wash off in the shower and really sticks around for a while!

I like the range of Mercedes fragrances as compared to other car manufacturers such as Bentley, Ferrari, Nissan, etc, as the Mercedes range springs up a surprise now and then which is not necessarily a clone of some existing fragrance. This is one of them. Rhubarb, Spice and juniper berries, make for a fascinating cocktail, thankfully the patchouli is toned down in this fragrance. Commendable performance, above average longevity and projection. Can be used in all seasons except for very hot and humid i would say. The first spray does give off a synthetic vibe, but it settles down nicely on skin and clothes.

I was skeptical to blind buy this at first. Saw it at Marshalls again and took a shot. Gorgeous presentation with the velvety bag holding the elegant bottle. Sprayed it on my wrist to see what this rhubarb note was all about. It is definitely different for sure. An acquired taste if you will. Not bad but not great. Low and behold, I let my wife smell the initial spray and the dry down and she loves it. She told me this is sexy and has to be my new date night fragrance. Weird right? Turned out to be a great blind buy for me since my wife loves it

I've owned this for well over a year. I have to admit, I've forgotten about this one. It surprised me how good it is. The "Main Accords" list says it all. If you can get your nose on it, I recommend you do it. Not necessarily blind buy it, but it is was cheap. Of course you get what you pay for. Don't expect a Chanel or Tom Ford quality perfume, but definitely great for the price. Not something I'd wear when I'm going out. I have too many får superior alternatives. But for a night at home on a crisp spring/autumn day, it's Very nice. 7/10

Fruity/spicy & very synthetic scent. I used to wear it to the office 6/7 years back. Got me compliments as the performance for these old batches was very strong. Finished my bottle & I don’t think I’ll re-buy, I heard it is discontinued anyways. Longevity: 8/9 hours on clothes. Projection: ok for the 1st 2/3 hours, after that I am not sure. Overall a good cheap fragrance but quality suffers here.

It smells fairly similar (id say like 80%) to YSL La Nuit de l'homme (i have both) and the notes don't say otherwise, the scent is fairly strong on the aromatic part so some may not like it but personally its a good seductive, sexy scent

I Can't understand all the hate as i find this to be a great fragrance for the price, yes it does smell a bit like polo red and a lot like paco xs too, but hey is that a bad thing.

Carlitos: Jeremy talks about M-B Black Leather not this. M-B Club is the longest lasting cheapy I've ever own. Not for everyone, definitely don't blind buy

I love the fragances of Mercedes Benz for Men, but this did not made my head .. much synthetic for my nose but sillage and longevity are very good.

I used to have this fragrance and it smelled pleasant and appealing People around me seemed to like it It lasted for hours on my clothes

This one is a metallic inky scent. I like but it’s not a love.

This smells NOTHING like Kokorico (neither one of them)

I would suggest going with club black

This is better than it's given credit for, but not by much. It's a fresh, metallic, sporty fragrance that definitely smells like some type of shower gel. I actually think the opening is pretty nice, the spicy rhubarb note really sticks out and I'm a big juniper berry fan so I appreciate that note being present as well. The drydown gets pretty muddy and boring though. Tons of ambroxan and a flat patchouli. I could see this fragrance working for a younger person looking for something modern but a little different...if you've been in the fragrance game for a while though there's probably not much for you here.

some interesting notes and some are just odd/meh/bad, the end end dry-down is 'Explorer Montblanc' boring - the atomizer was stuck in the 3ml gimmick bottle (i managed to transferred some of it to a standard 2ml) my fav note was the leather one - it's kinda linger there most of the time - wish it was more about that note - sadly i didn't like what wrapping that note..

I liked this fragrance at first as I had nothing else in my collection that lasted long. Beast performance, though not a good thing unless you want to make the room smell like bug spray chemical smoke. 2 sprays max and it's okay.

Very boring, smells like deodorant. Spicy fresh with a little bit of green. Opening is horrible, gets better after 10 minutes but still not good. Stays after washing, performance is decent.

A bit over complicated scent which works not so great as you can expect , can cause a bit of headache if over-sprayed. Works good in all weather. Good performance and price value.

IT REALLY STINKS... IS IT JUST ME? My reviews are always very positive because I only review fragrances I like. This review states my opinion about a fragrance that disappointed me a lot and I can say for sure that I absolutely dislike it. For me, it is as bad as a rash or an allergy. It may be my nose's fault and my opinion does not need to be yours. I bought it some years ago and since then is standing as a warning on my shelf: "Don't blind buy more perfumes!" The original Mercedes Club (with the silver flask and still in production) has an alien accord that is disgusting to my sense of smell. It induces profound nausea and headache. It's a strange scent that reminds me of the toxic waste. I don't quite understand which note or notes are responsible for that accord. However, I think a synthetic, cloying rhubarb note is to blame. I am not fond of the rhubarb scent because I don't like its tart facet. But no other perfume with the rhubarb note gave a hard time as this one. Unfortunately, Mercedes Club has been an online blind acquisition of mine, due to all the "pluses" some reviewers gave to this perfume. I should have asked my perfume colleagues instead. Before writing this text I decided to give another go to the fragrance. Innocently I applied a couple of sprays in the back of my hand. As once again I could not stand the scent I went to the toilet and scrubbed my hand with liquid soap. The smell persisted with some projection and not a faint one. I scrubbed my hands with alcohol and then washed my hands again with liquid soap... Five hours went by and while I was writing this review, I still could smell the annoying skin scent in the back of my hand... I will not complain about poor Mercedes Club performance for sure. I do not believe that Mercedes produced a skunky scent on purpose. I even believe that part of the problem may lie with me. I must have some sort of condition that makes my nose reject totally a certain type of smell. I may also have a skin PH (or any other cause), which converts this perfume into a sewer rat smell ... both causes may even occur simultaneously! The only other perfume where I had the same type of problem, but to a lesser degree, is the vintage Dior's Fahrenheit EDT.... yes, it is disgusting for me as well, but not as bad as this one. On the other hand, I tolerate well the new batches of Fahrenheit and I even enjoy some of its flankers. However, I am not alone for sure. Some of the Mercedes Club opinions I read elsewhere are coincident with my experiences. Another interesting fact is that, after trying Club, I could not stand any other fragrance. I tried to disguise the skin-scent sticky smell on the back of my hand with another perfume, applying Boucheron Jaipur to the back of my other hand. I must say that Jaipur is a scent that I adore. My nose just asked for peace and begged me not to give him any perfume to try at least for 24 hours. This side effect is history now as Jaipur smells divine again. I am the sort of fragrance lover who enjoys intrusive ouds and other very strong smells. I would like to know about other perfume colleagues that already experienced this strange effect either with Club or with any other perfume. Music: Shania Twain - "Don't!"

Lets Be clear Here first , i disliked this one and i would not accept it if it was for free , didnt bought it sprayed and hated it so synthetic , remind me of Azzaro Chrome and some Hugo Boss (i dont remember which one , maybe Hugo the blue one, i hated that too) first is citrucy then spicy and the dry down is those i mentioned - projection sucks , sillage is not bad (lasts over 7h though it is a skin scent) , quality no good , worth the asking price? def. NO a BIG NO , dont even think about going around this better opions for less exists like Franck Olivier Blue Touch , Perry Ellis 360RED, Mine PH by marc joseph & ... (the bottle! is not bad though, some may say classy !!) SCENT : 0.5 /10 Longeity : 6/10 Projection : 0.5/10 quality : 0.8/10 Yay or nay :) Your Call!

I don't think the rhubarb works well with citrus and cardamom, this opens a bit hairy. Spices probably not strong enough to do anything creative in the mid. Called a Woody Aromatic, its spring - fall usage in the Mid- Atlantic region. Its a musk fragrance, or dark floral. Black. I can be real skin specific there. Close thing i have to this is the Parsha Noir Cartier, but the Noir opens closer to the Mercedes Fresh. Cavalli Uomo is over this. Unless you are really good with cardamon; it could be a different story on your skin. The dry down is smooth, smells good. Has sillage. The ambroxan gives the cedar wood air. Actual tonka smell emerges 2 hours into scent, ambroxan giving it clarity.

Stars off with fruity sweetness along with green spiciness.once it starts to dry down the sweetness tones down and you are left with green nuances along with some woodiness. For me the whole thing just doesn't work because half the scent is trying to be fruity sweet with mass appeal while the other half is trying to be green , earthy and niche like.the scent is at odds with itself.the spiciness along with rhubarb comes across as dirt around a plant or a tree or some heavily soiled vegetables. IF you like rhubarb as a note u will like this.otherwise for me its 5/10.

Ordered few samples and when I opened package, this pushed through from bags. First I thought it smelled nice, birch notes and such, then I decided add to my skin. All was fine after spray, but seconds it started to dry, that sharp chemical spike hit me like hammer. I tried wash it off, but it was pointless, this stuff stays like glue. Horrible, please consider even spraying this on to yourself for test purposes. I found use for it to spray my toilet drains.

I really wanted to like this as Mercedes has blessed us with some amazing fragrances but unfortunately for me this one just burns my nose. It is extremely sharp, tart and metallic... I absolutely love some of the other offerings from Mercedes Benz so I had very high hopes for this one but oh well we win some and we lose some and that is the game we play blind buying. I'd say this is one you should definitely try and test before purchasing.

opening is an overly synthetic patchouli and spices bomb it’s harsh and very on your face had to scrub this stuff is so strong even after scrubbing with dish soap this thing went on into the dry down that’s when the water notes woods and rhubarb started to show up that messy patchouli gone finally but the spices and rhubarb blended decently i enjoyed this a bit but i dont see myself or anyone wanting that super harsh opening

Basically, it’s a peppery water, but there’s something more going on — not just as a background, but something expansive, with a kind of purple filter applied, which together with the pepper defines the quality of these perfumes. They put effort into it, so the community perceives this scent as a novelty or a hit, but in reality, it’s just a simple variation on a well-known formula of a fresh scent based on water and spices.

Whenever it comes to Rhubarb fragrances it's hard for me to stay objective since it's my favorite note. In this case, it plays against this fragrance because the Rhubarb 'accord' is so inaccurate that you can barely call it that. It lacks the sour/bitterness of the rhubarb, it's pure sweetness and in a strawberry cough syrup / JOOP kind of way. On the positive side it's a freshie with unexpectedly good longevity.

A vile, cheap, synthetic, plasticky, overpriced nightmare. Absolutely atrocious to my nose, thin cheap tangy-sour citrus/rhubarb notes over top of that same bile-esque woody-spicy "marine" slop from Invictus, one million, etc. It's definitely a clubbing scent in that it makes me want to club myself in the face so I don't have to smell it anymore. The bottle looks like an oversized toilet handle. 1/10

the cheapest and most synthetic smell I have experienced so far. reminds me of some citrus flavored cough syrup. Scent: 0/10 I have never given a zero to any fragrance.......until now:(:(:(:(:(

Smells like mint and camfor. Disappointing after Mercedes Benz - Intense, that one smells good. This not. But the bottle design is very good, and the sprayer is cool. 3/5
