Mercedes Benz Intense

One year after the launch of the traditional version, in 2012, Mercedes-Benz decided to continue its male fragrance line and, once again, had the genius of Olivier Cresp, creator of several hits for Dior, Kenzo, Givenchy, etc. and, in 2013, launched this Intense version. The backdrop for this creation was the man who, at the same time adopts the traditional version for some moments of his day, he also chooses the intense version for other purposes, other desires. Or perhaps, he is another type of man: more modern and concerned with fashion trends, but who does not give up the charm and wants to feel safe in order to move on. It was for these two types of men, who although similar have their differences, that the company dedicated this fragrance. Contrary to what I have already read, the manufacturer does not mention nutmeg or galbanum in the composition of Mercedes-Benz Intense for Men. It is a tip for those looking to discover new perfumes, based on the existing notes and, many times, they end up buying blindly and are disappointed. Here, the starting notes are Calabrian bergamot, Italian mandarin orange, and violet leaf absolute. In the heart, Bourbon pepper, violets (the flowers), and Cascalone, a molecule that recalls the sensation of freshness, like an aquatic overdose. At the base, woody notes of Bourbon vetiver, cedar, and patchouli from Indonesia, ending with the creamy Cetalox (also known as Ambroxan / Ambrox), which is the synthetic created to reproduce the sensation of ambergris and helps a lot in the durability of the fragrance on the skin. The result is a very rich smell, with an output slightly sweetened by mandarin orange and, at the same time, dry and floral, thanks to the absolute of violets. The power of violets continues to stand out during evolution when the floral aspect becomes more prominent and slightly spicy. Finally, the base gives the masculine and essential touch, with seductive and dense nuances. For me, the base of this perfume is almost a vision: a girl walking hand in hand with her parents, where she represents softness; the father, the virility of the woods and the mother, the aroma that dances between the bitter and the sweet, typical of patchouli. Now, all you have to do is imagine this fragrance, in which violet is the big star and the base is the foundation. The bottle of Mercedes-Benz Intense for Men maintained its visual identity, which is solid and elegant, but received a darker and more nocturnal touch. And let the Sport version arrive!

There are frags that you have in your collection which you treat equally and then there are frags that you have a special place for, maybe perhaps treasure, frags that you get backups of... This one is special! I first got this in a 75ml duty free blind buy. Pretty much didn’t expect much from it, bought it cause I was going back home and wanted something to unbox in the long ass flight. Signature scent at first sniff... this stuff is just brilliant. A bit ridiculous the way my mind works cause I now have 4 massive 240ml big boy bottles. The chunky 240ml bottle design is simple yet elegant, kinda looks like an oil filter from the Silver Arrows Car... the one with the screamer howling exhaust note. The smell is a stunning master class violet note, smells expensive. Has the perfect amount of woody vetiver and a hint of a peppery note on the back end of the exhale. Very well balanced yet intense without being offensive nor cloying. Citrus note is there to give it that freshness, then the violet takes over in the dry down and lasts ages. Projection is moderate and the performance is super long lasting... I get great performance on my skin and don’t have to hunt for it. Versatile for year round use and casual enough for any occasion, I go 4 to 5 sprays.

For those who are missing and have strong longings for Aqua Fahrenheit, this one will scratch your itch (personally it did for me), it's very similar to my nose, a homage to violet leaf, with a woody-leather base, just a little less tropical due to the lack of mint, basil and grapefruit. The only downside is the weak projection and sillage, it sits too close to the skin after the first hour. The longevity is great though, going beyond 8 hours on my skin. It was worth for me, because the main factor, the scent, met my expectations: it reminds a lot both Aqua Fahrenheit and the original Fahrenheit. I'd say this one is like a bridge between the two, and I've been compensating the poor projection and sillage by carrying a decant of it with me, so I can re-apply everytime I feel the scent is wearing off. This is Fahrenheit for the high heat, but cheaper than the official one, Fahenheit Cologne. However I can't confirm if it's similar to Cologne, I've never tried Cologne. But for the price, it was worth for me, It did what I expected, by reminding the good old days of Aqua Fahrenheit.

When I sit in Mercedes Benz, I want everything luxurious including cologne I wear. And I think about Chanel or Dior or PDM or TM. Mercedes says we got it and here it is! Mercedes Benz Intense! MB Intense is truly intense. Bentley made intense which is truly intense and MB has the same. I would not necessarily say it is as powerful as Bentley intense but it is no way below either. Yes, It reminds me of Dior Fahrenheit but Fahrenheit is just classic. It would be insult of Fahrenheit If I compare any other cologne to it! My Ratings: Scent: 10/10 Projection: 10/10 (2-3 hours strong) Sillage: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 (3 sprays on skin and 1 on cloth) Versatility: 8/10 (I would avoid in super hot weather) Quality: 10/10 (I love the bottle and it's cap) Price: 10/10 (Found from Top rated E-bay discounter for less than $40 for 120ml) Overall: 9.71/10 recommended: Absolutely Yes! Blind Buy worthy: YES! Only if you are fan of Fahrenheit. It still shares some vibes with Fahrenheit so If you don't like Fahrenheit, please avoid this one too.

Wow. I haven't smelled Fahrenheit in years, I remember it being more piercing than this but not by much. I can smell mainly Violet, Pepper and Vetiver. I am 24 and I really really really dig the smell of this, it's way different from all the other freshies I have, this fragrance is more cold and sharp than fresh but I love that. My bottle is from 02-22, longevity seems okay, 5-6 hours, can't tell much about sillage and projection because I sprayed it on my neck as soon as I bought it. This Mercedes-Benz is very elegant to me, office safe and signature scent worthy, it will set you apart from all the Invictus and Sauvage you find around, especially if you're on the younger side of things. I don't think this is well suited for summer days, but evenings for sure, can be worn in virtually every occasion and season. 10/10, I might buy a second bottle because I like it THAT much.

If this fragrance was a man, it would be a 42 year old 6'1 Russian mafia boss driving a black Jaguar F-type with fully tinted windows. You would meet him in a quiet bar on the outskirts of a major american city, he would serenade you with his deep, masculine almost guttural sounding Russian accent and his equally attractive perfume. You would take him home and he would make deep, passionate, love all night to you with no sign of stopping. Eventually, after his strong, animalistic lust has subsided he would gently fall asleep next to you. The next morning you would wake up, naked and frayed from last night, you would see a note left on your bedside table that reads "Моя любовь, the one i will never forget X". That's what happened to me at least.

This is a darker and stronger version of the original. Unlike a lot of 'intense' flankers that we see in the market which bear little to no resemblance to its original, this is exactly what it is expected to be. Projection and longevity are very good and one has to be very careful not to over spray. This frag is perfect for the evening and is suitable in both formal and casual situations. All in all, a beautiful fragrance highly complimented by both males and females. Top marks also for the flawless presentation. I have really grown to love this scent. To me, it is very masculine and seductive and it enhances my confidence when I wear it. I must get another bottle before it is being watered down by inevitable future reformulation.

This isn’t a show-stopping fragrance, but what I love most is how it makes me feel when I wear it. It’s not the kind of scent I put on to turn heads or make a bold statement—it’s more about personal enjoyment. It’s perfect for those intimate moments, like greeting someone with a hug or a kiss on the cheek, where its subtle charm really shines. I do tend to reapply after about 4-5 hours, especially on longer days when I’ll be meeting a lot of people. Overall, this is a fragrance I truly enjoy, even though it doesn’t have the same performance as some of my other fragrances.

This is a great scent for someone who wants to be seen as classy and gentlemanly. It is a little synthetic but a good kind of synthetic. It is very spicy while still being fresh and weirdly aquatic and marine like. I get no citrus (maybe a tad bit of it in the opening) but I get the violet, vetiver, and galbanum. It smells like gasoline to me but in an enjoyable way. This is very versatile and can be worn all day every day. I got a tester of fragrancenet.com but I found out that they don't come with caps which disappointed me. It looks hideous without it...

I have a few Mercedes Benz fragrances, 3 actually. I think Mercedes and Bentley can compete with most any designer fragrance. Ok, I think this is a little nicer than Fahrenheit creamier, soother dry down. For me the openings are somewhat similar but the dry downs are different. Bang for the buck and performance this is a keeper. Blind buy? Only if you are familiar with and like Fahrenheit. I think this is more suited to the older crowd maybe over 30. If you are younger and like great. Hey I’m in my 60’s and I have no issue wearing Invictus, Wanted and Eros!

Excellent fragrance by Mercedes. Very easy to get anosmic to this fragrance as most people think it goes away after a few hours but it's definitely still there and it's pretty loud. I received many compliments wearing this to work after hours of not being able to smell it on myself. It's impossible to judge the projection and longevity yourself without asking people around you. I built a relationship with many of my coworkers who are into fragrances, and we let each other know how well our fragrances are performing throughout the day.

Awesome, violet-based scent for men of any age. Smells bold without being obnoxious. No saccharine sweetness. This one, the original EDT, the Parfum, and the sport version are all quite similar and likeable, so I'm not sure which one I like the most. This one is much like the original but slightly more dense. I'd pick this over the original for cool weather. Masculine, anytime, anywhere kind of fragrance. Highly recommended, especially if you like versatility but want something other than the popular blues.

I like Aqua Fahrenheit but I like this fragrance even more. It clearly use as inspiration the classical Fahrenheit, but with a fresh modern twist. To my nose the dominant notes are violet, patchouli and the cascalone. The citruses are not strong on my skin. The performances are quite good, 8h of longevity with 2-3h of nice projection. I used this fragrance in the spring and now in the summer and fits great the hot weather. I will try it in the fall and winter also. Don't be afraid to try it!

Nose Note #1069 I'm a big fan of Fahrenheit. This is far from being a close dupe of any Fahrenheit flanker, but the intention is clear. A lighter version of Fahrenheit, even a lighter version of Fahrenheit Aqua. Not as abviously gasoliney, but the iconic Fahrenheit violet accord is prominent. Leather is turned down compared to Dior. Overall a more modern version of Fahrenheit. I'm well satisfied. Men only. Performance is better than average, but as bombastic as Dior, but it's good. 8.5/10

I literally got a ton of compliments on this one. Everyone in the office was asking what I was wearing. One of my friends asked me what I was smelling the other day and I said it was mercedes. He sniffed it and directly pulled out 40 bucks and threw them on the desk and asked to grab him one. Really interesting cologne. There is one draw back. The calone note is overemphasized which results in a smell that seems synthetic. Projection: Very good Sillage: 3-4 hours

VERY STRONG FOR A CAR BRAND FRAGRANCE!!! I don't know but I get heavy leather in this potion!!! Very affordable but understand this------it's insanely strong if you are sensitive to strong smells. But not disappointing in any way, I love this fragrance!!!! BEWARE------do not wear this during the heat!!! And yes----this beats Dior Fahrenheit in every way, even performance... Save you some cash and get this instead... 9.0/10

A violet dominant scent that in my opinion is a very versatile. This has an almost cooling effect to it. It smells cold, if that makes any sense. The scent is addictive to me. I can't get enough it. But I will say that my wife just thinks "it's okay". So it may not be a compliment getter. And I get fantastic performance with this. 8 hours probably on average. And a good scent bubble for most of that.

I finally sampled this and I have to say that it's amazing. It smells like dior fahrenheit only without that gas/mature vibe. Performance is great. I could still smell it strong 8 hours after spraying on my arm that my jacket was also pushing against. It's like a Fahrenheit but suitable for younger people too. Super versatile, wonderful fragrance, with great performance. Highly recommended.

welll now....trys to be like dior but certainly branches off into its own aromatic dust cloud...but a lovely dust cloud at that....gassy....ozone..ether.. maybe?....8.5 out of 10....beast level.....not cheap but quality ingredients make for a addicting fragrance..that it is..AMMENDMENT...ITS ACTUALLY A 9.5.....ON FURTHER REVIEW N USAGE..POWERHITTER FRAG,,..IT FUKS WITH DIOR.. :) TRY IT!!

Guys. I really don't know where you all are getting the Dior Fahrenheit similarities from but I'm getting more of Atelier's Vetiver Fatal or Eight & Bob's Nuit de Megeve. Closer to Eight and Bob however. I really enjoy this scent. Completely office safe and friendly and garners a lot of compliments. Is it groundbreaking, no. However a pretty decent release from a car brand... 8/10

More unique freshie option than the myriad of 'blues' the market is flooded with – as long as you get along well with violet. Undeniably masculine, mature. Performs rather well. Do not overspray this (I embarassed myself, so you dont have to) – it becomes unpleasant and can be choked on. I enjoy it. Well worth the price.

Usually reject male floral fragrances. However, this is nicely balanced. It has a prominent violet scent but remains masculine. It is a pleasure to wear and is very addicting, as I find myself wanting to smell it frequently. My wife loves to smell it as well. Sends a vibe of masculine power and calm self-assuredness.

This is a super sexy scent. Quite heavy, but I think most men could wear this and feel very confident about the fact that they are guaranteed to smell AMAZING. In my store I always have male customers commenting on it, telling me they love it. I will be purchasing this for any future boyfriend I may have!

I'll make one last update about this one. I don't know if it's my skin that reacts so well to the scent, but I swear this stuff lasts forever on me, after 9 hours I could still smell whiffs of it in the air, and I'm not an oversprayer, I swear. Super sensual scent to me, I love this fragrance.

Today is rainy and temperature is about 26~28°C, very good fit to put this juice on ! Violet leaf makes green, the vetiver go through vibe and let the lemon, violet, pepper, some wooden smell in. I used to the sunny hot day is not too good and got it too sharp for me.

This frgrance definitely is close to Fahrenheit by Christian Dior. Without that petro scent. You can wear this on the cool weather seasons. I recommend this for formal occasions and date night. It last 7 to 8 hours on me. It tends to be affordable on fragrance sites.

This is definitely a lighter version of Fahrenheit. What’s predominantly missing is the leather. Good stuff definitely worth the money. I can see this being used as an office fragrance and the third height EBT used for night time out and aboutness.

While everybody is so hooked to dior and l homme I'm a fan of this,probably the best all year around fragrance in the designer game that not many know about,maybe since Jeremy fragrance did a video on it it may not be a sleeper anymore

a beautiful mixture of spices wood and citrus , initial note is similiar to dunhill icon but with time it becomes more elaborated bossy fragrance suited for 25-40 male. day wearing cologne. all in all a very elegant perfume 5 out of 5

A gorgeous fragrance. Violet, vetiver, pepper and citrus notes beautifully blended in a lovely heavy bottle. A lot like Fahrenheit Aqua. Longevity and silage are good on me. Mercedes Intense is a quality men's fragrance.

Excellent, less expensive substitute (95%) for Dior's Fahrenheit. Very masculine without being overpowering. I get 10+ hours on skin and clothes. You WILL get compliments from strangers. in a word, STUNNING.

I get the comparisons to Fahrenheit, and while it does smell similar(I'm assuming due to the violet leaf) it's not as daring or bold...but, I feel like it is a little more versatile, and easier to wear

This is my 10 out of 10 fragrance and also my signature scent,this fragrance should be praised like dior sauvage,good longetivety and u will get compliments,highly recommended.

Well to my nose i find it very close to Fahrenheit edt, to the cherry on top is this thing performs like unexpectedly i havent seen a car brand perform that good its just love

Undoubtedly one of the best masculine scents, beautifully blended, also lasts for quite sometime, definitely recommend it.
