Mercedes-Benz Man OG Longevity:7/10 Silage:7/10 Scent Profile:8.2/10 This fragrance holds a special place in my heart as being my first summer fragrance. I didn't know much about fragrance back then, but looking back at it now, this masculine masterpiece holds up decently to the rest of my collection. The pear and ambrette start off the fragrance, and they command it for about a good hour. Then, the wood and moss start to appear, slowly taking over the heart of the fragrance until it ends with a robust wood and moss base. Even though it says that there is geranium, I didn't notice it until about the tenth time I used it, and it's not very strong, either. Overall, this is an Oliver Cresp masterpiece, and I will keep a bottle of this in my house probably for the rest of my life. (Side note: After wearing it for about 8 months, I have started to pick up a cinnamon note at the heart, but it's barely noticeable. Also, the geranium has started to appear for me as well.) 8/10

I’m a bit disappointed... not in the fragrance but the reviews. This is a solid fragrance. Quality, longevity, silage. Just because it resembles other fragrances doesn’t mean it’s crap. Had this come out in 2001 it would be ICONIC like fierce. Yes it smells very similar to fierce, legend...but Fierce is a shell of what it used to be in performance and Mont Blanc Legend NEVER had the performance. So why does this won’t get the shaft from the fragrance snobs? Beats me? I own it, get a ton of compliments from it, it projects about 3 hours between 5-8 ft, lasts about 8 hours, and it is very well liked. For me, it outshines fierce and legend in current formulations for a much more affordable price. It is a no brainer buy. Frag heads can shove it.

To me this smells very similar to Mont Blanc Legend but I don't remember MB Legend lasting ALL day on clothes! This has fantastic performance! I actually wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. This is a total bang for your buck fragrance and a good one for any situation. For me this was a great blind buy and I don't think you'll regret it if you go for it too. This is a good masculine woodsy fragrance with a nice pear note and florals. This is a great one to have!

This actually smells great, I'm getting low on MB Legend so this is a pretty decent replacement and I love Legend. Not a single thing off putting. Really nice freshy. Plus I picked up a 200ml (6.7 Oz) for 20 bucks on clearance at Ross, total score Update: I did a side by side with Montblanc Legends and Legends is just slightly warmer, like barely. So if you love Legend you'll probably like this, longevity isn't bad at around 6-7 hours, Sillage is more like 4

For $25, this was a freaking steal. Nice fruity pear with some woodiness. However it does not last. I barely get an hour out of this before it plays the disappearing act on my skin. I don't mind it though as it's a before-going-to-bed scent for me.

I may not fully grasp fragrance profiles as well as I thought, because despite mixed opinions, this remains one of my personal favorites. The wood notes evoke a chamomile-like nuance, offering a comforting and soothing experience.

This was my fragrance before I decided to start seeing what else was out there. It’s a safe citrusy, woody daytime. Nothing fancy, but I got a few compliments over the years

Mercedes-Benz Man smells very good and i love it, but the performance is very bad, terrible. Don't allow be fooled by the irreal reviews. I need to try with Intense version.

Wow, this stuff is nice. It reminds me ALOT of VS Platnum, I think it is the Oakmoss that I really love in both of them. The only thing that I really dislike in this is the pear. I got sprayed by a stinkbug as a kid one time and the pear in this reminds me of that experience. I had that nasty stink bug smell on my hands for days, I put plastic sandwich bags over my hands to eat powdered donuts it stunk so bad lmao. Anyways, the longevity on this thing is great! I got this and Mercedes Select at the same time and wow, this stuff lasts sooo much longer. After the pear in the opening goes away I am really enjoying this one.

Another Montblanc Legend/ Abercrombie Fierce clone and many other in this line and copy. More fresh, fruit and woody and less flower (lavander) than the "brothers" It also has the sharp metallic opening, becoming more icy, fruit and woody. It has a little bit sweetness and floral but not overload and keeping the watery nuance Yes, it is very sinthetic. For a cheap price, it worths a lot. Great perfomance around 6-8 hours and strong sillage for 2 hours Second time buying this type of fragrance and once again, I don't like on my skin but I love it on other guys.

Hi guys. I'm writing this review after 2 month using this perfume. If you searching for a similar smell to Montblanc Legend, here it is but there is some difference that make this one more masculine.I have both of them. First and the main difference with legend is pear instead of pineapple note. It make this one less sweet, more fresh and more masculine. second, it has at least 9 hour longevity and better sillage. I recommend this one more than Legend.

I have this and Dylan Blue on my arm. this smells slightly nicer to me, but in reality they're both such similar and basic blue fragrances you could have one and not miss the other, as they fulfill exactly the same role. If this performed better it would probably be my favorite of the blues. But we're talking next to no projection, and like 4hrs longevity on my skin.

The first time I smelt it, I loved it but I thought it smelt very familiar, and it should as it smells like a close cousin to Mont Blanc Legend. Because of this I see it taking a hit on here, but that's to be expected, people love to hate. I like and maybe you will too if you like Legend, and it's cheaper! For an every day cheap scent, can't go wrong IMO.

It's not bad, not great either though. If you like the sort of fierce vibe and can get it for under $30 i'd say it is a worthy pickup. The quality is good, I guess my main criticism it's a bit generic... I actually forgot what it smelled like after a week, only that it was kind of like fierce lol

Imagine a man in suit driving a Merceses Benz expensive car, that's how it smells like. Very expensive and elegant. The first 30 minutes smells very freh and lemony, and then it dried down to sweet incense. I like this one. And not forgot to mention, the bottle is really really beautiful..

شبیه مون بلان لجند هست واقعا. اما دوسش داشتم. هم شیشه هم بو. به نظرم ماندگاری و پخش بهتری هم داشت نسبت به لجند. Looks like Mont Blanc Legend, really is. But I love it. glass and smell. And it seems to me that it has a better longevity compare to legend.

For a cheap cologne less than $60, this is phenomenal. It does remind me of an old A&F cologne from the mid 2000s when I was in middle and high school, but a more refined version of it. I will definitely be buying a full size bottle of this.

Good office/evening scent, last 3-6 hours aaaaand... not much to say. Boring? Not really. Interesting? Not really... don ́t think I ́ll go back, but a good scent if you are young and want to "step" up the elder ladder I guess :)

While not the longest lasting or the most unique scent, this thing PULLS compliments, like seriously this is definitely one of my most complemented fragrances that I own if not my most complement one.

Basically underrated frags out there.. I love the opening notes and it stay for almost 4 hours.. The drydown was also good.. I have to say it's a safe blind buy..

Smells good..only thing is when i first smelled it i got the "oh ive smelled this before" vibe to it but its a solid release everyone around me says i smell good

I like it. In between a light blue and blue fragance dna. Problem is, abismal performance. Close to the skin.

#791 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I got this as a sample sprayette. I'd call this a summer wear aquatic. Kenneth Cole has a whole line of EDTs like this with notes like watermelon and cucumber called "Mankind" that has what I call a "produce aisle" vibe, but as mediocre a performer as this scent is the Cole scents are much worse. There are similarities here to Clean's "Radiant Nectar", Mazzone's "Dulce Pear". Alhambra has one I found on eBay called "Dark Door Intense" that's the same price as this, but an EDP. I think most people that like a pear note probably already have Juliette Has a Gun's "Pear Inc." But for the guys I would say if you already have D&G "Light Blue" as it seems we all do, this scent adds nothing to your shelf unless you just gotta have that pear note, and for that the Mazzone and JHAG are better choices I think. This is car pool, elevator, office safe, day wear for summer for me. Likeable but nothing special. Appropriately priced. Like all scents in this category you'll have to respray this a couple of times a day.

I like Fierce a lot and I wanted to try this one because of the similarity between them according to many people. Differently from Fierce, I'm almost nose blind to this one and its intense version. I don't know why. I've tried not to apply it on my neck to see if I could smell it only on my arms and it didn't work. Even on paper it's very subtle to me. I could only check its protection and longevity asking what other people felt. My wife said it's very sexy, but I could not feel it myself, unfortunately.

I got a free sample of this with a fragrance order from Macy's. It smells like any generic men's clothing store fragrance from the mid to late 90s, Axe body spray, or one of those men's cologne inspired car air fresheners. Specifically reminds me of the Anchor Blue cologne that I wore in high school. Not bad smelling, per se, but not great. Probably better than wearing no fragrance at all. Maybe an OK office or gym, daytime fragrance.

I agree that it is very similar to Montblanc Legend, which is surprising because they only have a few notes in common. Which could be a good thing if the performance was superior to Legend, but unfortunately, it isn't. Considering it is a bit more expensive that Legend, in my opinion you can pass on this one. (and on Legend as well, but that's another story...)

This is a great masculine fragrance. I usually lean toward more unisex so I don’t find myself wearing this often but is very nice

The review below nailed it. This is somewhere in between Fierce and Legend but without musk in the base, which I find better because the drydown is stronger. Definitely better and longer-lasting than Ajmal Blu. It's just a solid, mass-pleasing, "mall" type of smell that's suitable for anything. Also, the presentation is awesome. Way, way cooler in person than in the stock photo. Rubberized bottle, baby! EDIT: Oh no, there's a very bad note in the drydown. It's extremely synthetic and gross, similar to the one I have a problem with in ADG Absolu and Roberto Cavalli Silver Essence. What a shame.

just got this. that synthetic oakmoss note...I can't stand it!!! I love oakmoss and that's why I got this thing. I can't see myself wearing it because it doesn't make me feel good at all. anyone in the states interested?

Tested it today on my wrist. Very similar to Mont Blanc Legend and I mean very. I can’t compare it to Abercrombie as I am yet to test it. This scent is very masculine and classy. I get the woody notes, a little spicy and a hint of fruit but by no means sweet. I am unable to give a rating for longevity and sillage unfortunately which a pet hate of mine. I like reviews to show factor in the longevity factor as it’s extremely important. I will try it again one morning, see how it holds up throughout the day and report back. Defiitely better than than the 3.36 Fragrantica rating, especially for the price. Scent 7.5/10 Longevity and sillage to follow Edit: Scent 7.5/10 (very nice dry down, and did get a little sweeter a few hours later but in no way feminine.) Sillage 7.5 Longevity 8.5/10 Very impressive, I had to shower but got a good 8 hours If you like Mont Blanc Legend and would like improved longetivy, you can’t go wrong with Mercedes Benz Man.

This fierce dna has been done to death I know but this smells waaay better than some of the terrible reviews say about it. The sillage I catch from it is amazing. Smells like a richer ajmal blu to my nose. I thought this was gone on me after a short while but after about 8 hours I started catching lovely trails from it. This is way better than the crap reviews on it. If you don’t wanna pay money for fierce or Percival, this is 100% blind buy worthy imo

today I bought a 20ml tiny bottle to try, - a real disappointment for me, on my skin the juice smells like cheap chemical nonsense, I can't even imagine where I could go smelling like tat, because it smells terrible, I don't think I want to go somewhere smelling like that where there are people around me. l can smell more "pear" inside my work shoe than in this cologne.

Never had a particular liking for any of the Mont Blanc Legends I had (the Black, the Blue and the Gray). This Mercedes looked more interesting on paper and when I tested on skin. I insisted but yes, Mont Blanc Legend is here. But not only it: Mont Blanc Emblem too. That's what gives the sweetness I get. All to my nose of course. A secret joint venture with Mont Blanc.

Very intentical with Mont blanc Legend. Very nice crowd pleasant smell which you can wear any season for any occasion. Decent performance and strong sillage. I think it last longer than Mont blanc legend

It smells just like Mont Blanc Legend. They're both around the same price so it's good to have some cheaper options since Abercrombie & Fitch insist on charging ridiculous pricing for Fierce

Hi!..I just bought this perfume..I think this scent is better than mont blanc legend..the smell of oakmoss is so good,fresh,pear,floral,little sweet n aromatic woody..lighter than mb legend.

This is literally Old Spice CAPTAIN deodorant, go to your local market and try it out the 2-3 dollar deodorant/body-spray it's literally the same scent, wth?

Smells aromatic, slightly fruity and woody, bottle is beautiful, to bad it have average performances..
