This fragrance was one of the first I had ever smelled. I had first smelled this fragrance as a sample I got from a JC Penny worker when they recommended it to me when I told them I liked citrusy fragrances. I thought it was just gonna be ok, but when I got home and sprayed it on, I was honestly blown away by what I smelled. It was a beautiful zesty lemony ginger smell. This is my kind of citrus fragrance. The opening is like if you garnished a lemonade with ginger and orange peels. And that honestly, from what I get, stays present throughout, with a little bit of a weak amber dry down. With mine being an EdT, I don't get a very long lasting scent on my skin, with myself only being able to really smell the opening. This smells like a zesty ginger lemonade. Recently, I got my nose on Dior Homme Cologne, and I have to say that this fragrance has a very striking resemblance to that fragrance. It is a more sweet, lemony, refined version of this fragrance with a lemon instead of a bergamot. However, Mercedes SYA not only lasts longer, being an EdT instead of an EdC, but also is far more affordable, going for around $50 cheaper. So if you don't mind the zesty ass name, this fragrance is a perfect relatively cheap summer pickup. Simply wished it lasted longer. Overall, I give this a fragrance an 8.3/10.

This came highly recommended by a store clerk while I was visiting the J.C. Penney men’s Cologne section. The opening is a beautifully done burst of citrus and spices, mainly ginger, that lasts a good bit longer than most anything I’ve tested or owned. It’s a little overly lemony but that goes away quickly and the ginger comes zinging in. It reminds me a bit of Dior Homme Sport. It’s very reminiscent of the punch of men’s colognes of bygone years as it’s unapologetically powerful. That being said, it smells so good, you won’t care even if it seems a bit old school in that regard. I would say it compares favorably to the potency of a Dior Elixir. I label it suitable for spring, summer and fall and as an evening out or “event” fragrance, but it’s so good you’ll be tempted to wear it for anything. At $100 for a 100 ml bottle, it’s a bit pricey, but if you are looking for something to own as a “signature” frag, it’s right there with any designer in that arena and better than some. My wife loves this one...every time I wear it she says “mmmm, that smells good!” Addendum: The online discounters offer it for $50-60. Just buy it! I don't own a full bottle yet but my first sniff was very promising. I was searching for a more affordable take on LV Imagination even though I already own the original and I found this. It's not a one to one clone and that's a good thing. It captures the vibe of Imagination, soapy, clean, smooth and well rounded, while adding its own fresh character. Where Zara Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Intense EDP leans too sharp with citrus and tea, while this stays soft and balanced and keeps that elegant aura. On skin it needs a generous number of sprays if you want compliments or strong sillage, but it lasts well and at that price, you won't hurt your wallet by applying more. Overall it gives about 95% of the vibe of Imagination and around 60% of the exact scent profile. It is a very good and wallet friendly way to enjoy that refined clean style.

This is a fantastic fresh zingy fragrance that can be wore by any age group and for any occasion. It punches way above it price point and has that Imagination DNA if that’s what your looking for. I find it closer to imagination that quite a few of the middle eastern dupes or inspirations. Yeah the bottle is gaudy and a little difficult to spray but it’s not something that going to ruin your day. Performance and silage on my skin is consistent and good for any freshy, designer or niche. I’ve sprayed it on my shirts and it doesn’t stain which makes it last much longer. Mercedes Benz has some really good Men’s fragrance made by master perfumers using quality materials. Bottom line: a great spring, summer and fall fragrances for $35 🏆

Fragrantica needs to BAN IDIOTS like Mr Andersonn writing bullshit comments and not a review. Get these idiots off fragrantica. Now for the fragrance; this is LOVELY. I own MFK Aqua Media and this is most definitely Aqua Media and Imagination hybrid. Its also potent and not synthetic at all. I was very surprised by the quality. This smells so good! Don't read these negative reviews. These miserable people go online to release their hate and negativity like it's some kind of bizarre therapy for them. Nothing ever positive comes out their mouth.

The Cool Water from when you were a teenager is finally back. Monster longevity- you’re gonna have to shower/bathe it off-plus non offensive sillage. THE ULTIMATE SUMMER DAY FRAGRANCE Some may call it generic, but if you ever ate that gov’t cheese from the 70’s & 80’s then you know generic does not always mean bad 9.8/10

Of all the Imagination DNA twists and turns, this one is very special. The ginger really grounds it. Love at first sniff. Smokes Aqua Dubai or anything else. Office safe. It's luxurious and could be Guerlain if I didn't see the bottle. Summer (and probably all-year) banger. 7/10

Such a beautiful scent, it feels like a summer day while drinking lemonade and the odor hits, the scent is like strawberry lemon lime lemonade, the performance is really great its long lasting and absolute nice smelling, im not sure about price but i recommend this as a everyday

A very beautiful and bright citrus and ginger heavy fragrance. To my nose this is very similar to Imagination and Zara’s Sunrise On The Red Sand Dunes. Regardless of that this is a very nice warm weather fragrance especially for the price and the performance is pretty good.

I already reviewed this, but I’m back. Don’t be dissuaded by the negative comments. If this were a Chanel or Dior it would be the latest rage. The final dry down is as good as anything I own and I own a lot.

I have over 300 perfumes, my husband has about 20. There is no other perfume that makes me salivate like this one. This is the sexiest male fragrance I've smelled in my life. No lie.

One of the best mercedes fragrances, mix between Lv Imagination and L'home ideal cologne, needs a small kick to silage and it would be a 10/10.

Very similar to Zara Vibrant Leather Summer Breeze and Dior Homme Cologne but stronger than both, it has very beautiful citrusy freshy opening with Amberi base. One of the best scents I ever smelled, performance is average, do not expect much from it, good sillage in first 1 hour, then slightly fades, it give good sillage for first two hours, then you can still smell on yourself for another 2 hours while moving and turning. I will not buy again but I really enjoyed it. If I find the same scent but stronger I will make it my signature scent.

Pretty good. Longevity was surprisingly decent. It's a little citrus heavy on the opening but it calms down and is very nice. Lasts a long time on clothing. I would say similar to Hermes eau givree, but with a lemon note Instead of grapefruit. It's a rhindy lemon scent, like if you peeled the rhind off and threw the fruit away. It's got that lemon zest type smell. There's also something that seems a bit old fashioned here, almost reminds me of a Floris scent. Overall a solid summer cheapie, one of my best cheap buys.

Just like all the others reviews say this is a very strong sharp lemony scent in the beginning which I do not dislike at all (and I disagree about lemon pledge like wtf??). It's very Reminiscent of Sauavagee citrus. The Cypress in this is also very strong but it drys down into a much more calmer warmer and a little more musky scent near the end. its very good for the summer.

Fresh Sparkling Spicy Citrus. Reminds me of Imagination by Louis Vuitton with the iced-tea vibes. As always, heavy citrus-forward fragrances can remind people of "cleaning products" but in the air it shouldn't be as blunt. It seriously smells like something Dior or LV would make for summer, except more affordable and longer lasting. 9/10

This one was a pleasant surprise!! If Guerlain L'Homme ideal cologne and Creed Silver Mountain Water had a baby, the baby would smell like this :) I’m looking forward to try this one in the summer heat ☀️ 🌊 🏖️

At the begining it is extreme similar to Zara Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes. Maybe no worth having both in your collection. Good Perfume tho, amazing for hot climates.

This one surprised me. The original was a decent woody spicy scent that plays in the same line as other blue scents but with a fresh spicy kick. This one is more aromatic, green and fresh. Ginger and cypress is what i get the most and the result reminds me of L'Homme ideal cologne. There's no grapefruit but i smell something pretty similar to that vetiver-sweet almond-grapfruit thing of L'Homme ideal cologne. A very nice fragrance specially coming from Mercedes-Benz.

An absolutely amazing opening - very fresh citrus with ginger hanging out in the background. The mid and drydown is where it loses a lot of lustre as the ginger and somewhat cloying musky/amber takes over - that part of it reminds me of some sticky sweet cheapies like Dunhill Driven Blue.

Reminds me a little of Jimmy Choo Man Ice, but this one has a very slight creaminess. Honestly, I do get a bit of a household cleaner feel from it. I prefer the original MB Sign to this one.

Really total mess. Linear , no clear identity to it!! Yes, surprisingly. Maybe the midlayer ruined it. Some spices intertwined oddly. Ok, I didn't like it. Luckily I bought 50 or 75ml.

In the opening it basically smells like a fresh squeezed lemon, with a little powder, that’s it. So if you like smelling like a freshly squeezed lemon you should love this, because that’s the main note I’m getting. Lemon scent always reminds me of cleaning supplies. The dry down gets a little bit better, but not much. I could see a woman pulling this off. Now I see why Mercedes-Benz turned off their comments on YouTube for this. Very disappointed with all of the glowing reviews. I’ll probably use it as a car air freshener. 3/10 - probably the worst Mercedes-Benz fragrance I have tried

Do you want to smell like a Coca Colar? I don't. I tried at JC Penney and after 20 minutes, I had to go to the nearest bathroom. Awful scent! Big Pass for me

This release came outta nowhere! Ha just showed up at my work one day, and it’s pretty interesting. I swore I got a soapy citron note off the top, and is fresher and cleaner overall than the note breakdown indicates. I am getting grapefruit as well, and holy cow I JUST realized what this is hinting at for me!! I am getting nuances of Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim and even a bit of Imagination...little L’Immensité in there too! Why am I getting a hint of a tea note?!? Wow what a surprise as this beauty dries! A soapy bright dry citrus that gets so much more interesting as it dries revealing touches of other wildly popular fragrances that cost much much more. Compared to the more sweet and fun original MB sign with touches of richness, this new release is much more elegant and expensive smelling, and also a more fresh and clean option. It’s beautiful, will need to try giving it a wear and update but so far dammmnn Mercedes!!!! Edit (later same day) - gave myself a healthy application midway through the day (7-8 sprays) to test this baby out and leaving work for the day 5+ hours later I got a compliment from a female coworker saying how nice it smelled. She confirmed it smelled very fresh and nice. Looking like Mercedes may have a winner on their hands if word gets out on it because it low-key crept onto shelves. Edit 11/9: the fresh sweet muskiness of this one has me coming back to it, and those I’ve showed it to have generally liked it quite a bit! Somehow my nose wasn’t picking up initially how sweet it really dries, but in combination with its freshness it really accomplishes an amazing balance that’s something a little different. Edit 9/8/23: a sad edit. We got this in store and only a few months later all MB frags were taken off our shelves, seems to be the case in most department stores. Not discontinued it appears but unfortunately less people will now discover this under-appreciated and underrated gem of a fragrance. I’ve found MB makes some surprisingly good scents and along with MB Club Black this is among the best they have to offer. Checks every box as a daily driver while being affordable...for now.

Just got 100ml tester bottle for 20 euros and from this price point its quite goood for what it is. You can consider this as widely understood citrus-woody-spicy scent. It's a mix of DHC, Ideal Cologne, Jimmy Choo Ice, LV Imagination, ZARA Vibrant Leather Summer, etc. Nothing ground breaking but you can't go wrong with it. The base could be a little to synthetic but to my taste Dior Cologne has also quite bad synthetic musky base that I do not like that much and it's cost a fortune now a days. Also the bottle is tacky, plastic with huge Mercedes logo on it :P I personally do not drive Mercedes so I also do not feel like endorsing this particular automobile brand on my perfume shelf. Still, if you can get this cheap and you don't mind the bottle design you can not go wrong with it :) 8/10

It’s great to see the love this fragrance is getting even if it’s not shaking the world. Just a complete under-known and under-appreciated gem and it makes me happy to see others are also getting the LV similarities, especially how LV likes to execute their freshies. This stuff is absolute freaking heat and I just had to come back and say it again. Also a shoutout to the impressive performance and projection of this beauty, such a great and surprising fragrance!

3-4th time back just to say I love this fragrance and really can’t understand the hate comments and those complaining about performance...for an EDT this has unreal projection and longevity. Oh well more for me maybe it won’t ever be too crazy expensive so I’ll always be able to have it in my collection to enjoy. If you are looking for a fresher daily driver and enjoy the way LV does their fresh offerings this is a can’t miss. Also performs WAY better.

Save your money. Impressed at first bought it a JCP because it was on sale for cheap. The middle notes ruin it. It smells like spicy lemon pledge. After 20 minutes I just want to wash it the F off. The sharp lemon is good for cooler weather but no way a summer scent. You will smell like a custodian using lemon scented cleaning products. Best for 60-70°F. Its a dud with an impressive first sniff experience.

Just got it today based of these reviews and its amazing freshie! Can anyone suggest the best way to get the atomizer to spray the most juice? It's literally the only gripe I have about this fragrance. I will be back with a full review soon. Edit: This one has a very sweet amber note that just shines and doesn't agree with me. Damn, I thought I lucked out. Wasn’t too expensive so I can’t complain.

Metallic Lemon. It smells a bit like lemon pledge or a house hold lemon cleaner. It smells good though. It is one of those frags you see at the mall and spray the tester and impressed to the point of purchasing. This is a late spring/summer frag for being active. I definitely see it as a smokers frag/body odor cover up frag, the smell feels heavy.

Man this is such a nice scent you cant go wrong with this one. Definitely in the ball park of Allure Edtion Blanc, L'homme Ideal cologne a lil LV but not too much. Creamy citrus with a soft woody dry down but.... Longevity and potency isn't really there. Worth the 36 bucks but nothing more. Spray away with this one cause it wont make a difference.

@salohcin2148 That sweet amber facet that emerges through the dry down is one of my favorite aspects, reminds me of the amber in Dior Homme Eau or Prada L’Homme. This fragrance hits so many levels of other fragrances I love for sure
