Sign Your Power

Today I'm testing Sign Your Power by Mercedes-Benz and I'm wow! Just wow! This new scent goes far beyond my expectations! Wonderful opening, bold, sexy, juicy, spicy... I can feel the sweet plum, the cozy warm spices...mmmm so sexy, so alluring... Later the amazing cacao vibe is getting stronger and it's kind of similar to the aroma of Kokorico by Jean Paul Gaultier! AMAZING! Warm, seductive, spicy, juicy, bold, rich and powerful night time treasure! If you love cozy and delicious Autumn-Winter fragrances, Sign Your Power is 100% for you! Try it if you love Kokorico by Jean Paul Gaultier or Viktor&Rolf Spicebomb Extreme / Spicebomb Infrared , or A*Men Mugler The Taste of Fragrance and in some ways it reminds me of Ard Al Zaafaran Tafakhar, which I have and love with amazing plum note. On my skin, the most powerful and key notes of Sign Your Power are: Cinnamon, Plum, Cacao, Patchouli and creamy Amber. Davana is here also to give balance, more complex and deep character of the scent.It gives kind of green-herbal aspect, and the red wine gives smooth and velvet fruity accord. This scent is absolute stunner! It got everything to be described as the perfect cozy, delicious and rich Autumn scent. The bottle is beautiful and the performance is excellent! Really great performer. Sign Your Power is another great scent by Mercedes-Benz and the perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin - great job! I'll get a bottle for sure.

As the opening suggests you get a spicy opening that is well blended and smooth driven by the red wine (cranberry juice smell) in the background, that is not syrupy sweet slight tartness just the perfect balance between sweetness, tartness and spiciness, not very overpowering, its a well blended opening not harsh in any way. Then throughout the dry down you'll get the red wine listed above, driven by plum and cacao in the background which will give you a fruity spicy very attractive scent, at the end it will switch to a tart gourmand smell and the cacao will become more noticeable with the red wine and plum in the background, it really smells like something i want to eat. It projects strongly at the first 1-2 hours then it becomes closer to the body bellow 1 foot of projection and eventually fades away 5-6 hours after applying, the weather does affect the performance so im expecting it to last longer in colder days. Overall its a unique scent, never smelled anything like it before, its very attractive and will set you apart from other people, the longevity may not be the best but for the price you get a good quality smell and 5-6 hours of smelling good so there is nothing to complain about.

Very similar to my bottle of Burberry London (circa 2012, no idea how many reformulations it has gone through since then or what current London smells like). I'd say 75% similar, but it's the differences that shine and actually lead me to prefer Sign Your Power (SYP). Both fragrances have a core of fruity wine and Christmas spice. London is mulled wine and gingerbread and anise cookies while SYP is a dark Malbec with chocolate cookies covered in a plum compote, with a side of cranberry juice. Both sit on a base of tobacco leaf and cedar, but again SYP is darker, aubergine and black, where London is more burgundy and brown. SYP is a bit fruitier throughout, and has no perceptible mimosa like London. I'd say SYP is slightly more overtly sexy while London feels more distinguished gentleman. If you love London, or you love scents that smell of Thanksgiving or Christmas or just want a dark fruity/spicy woody tobacco scent you owe it to yourself to check this scent out.

Just purchased from their site, I will leave an actual REAL review when it comes in haha Club Black and Le Parfum are two favorites in my collection, so naturally this one caught my eye. UPDATE: This is TREMENDOUSLY beautiful. I'm writing this as it's developing on my arm, and oh boy... I haven't a ton of experience with notes of Davana or Red Wine - but it seems Fabrice has culminated something here worthy of every penny I paid! (And I would have paid a lot more now that I have my nose on it). I can't speak for the performance catagory just yet (even though it seems to by getting LOUDER as it dries!) but if you consider yourself a fan of dark, juicy, and dang near edible scents - then just blind buy. Also, I'm sorry I have nothing to compare this to, it stands on its own! Very well done Mercedez and Fabrice. Sign Your Power is walking a line most others are shying away from... and I'm here for it one hundred percent!

Just bought this fragrance. Right off the bat it has a very strong opening or the rum of cinnamon. It's definitely a bold fragrance and projects around good 3-4 hrs then becomes a skin scent. Obviously a winter fragrance and screams attention. Turns heads and has a very mature vibe to it. A good buy indeed at this budget. One thing I'd want them to improve is the atomiser:) the concept of the bottle is good but the spray mech kinda sucks

Cinnamon and cocoa. These two notes make it warm and powdery but not very sweet. It reminds you of a warm, cinnamon kind of dessert during christmas. Lasts around6 6-7 hours minimum. After that it stays close to your skin but it still smells good. Projection 2 feet for the first 2 hours, then it reduces. I love this blend of notes, it feels unique. Best to get during discount and try to smell it first before getting the full bottle.

It's absolutely wild for me how much of a quality fragrance can Mercedes make for such a low price... great performance, super unique, it has a niche quality tbh... I can easily put it side to side with my Side Effect... If I had to have only one, I would go with the Benz which is 80 euros, and not 230 euros.

This is hands down the best budget winter fragrance. Somewhere in between Boss bottles elixir and the absolu. The only bad thing about this fragrance is the way it sprays its a little hard to spray. But the juice inside is amazing. I sprayed this on a test strip a week ago and the test strip still smells.

This is a very warm and sophisticated fragrance. I can smell the nutmeg spice very intensely, which lingers on both the skin and clothes for a long time. The perfume is not too sweet, it is pleasantly warm. Awful atomizer 😅

PDM Herod meets Initio Side Effect. Mix mix mix..Viola! How is that fragrance doesn't get more hype! Gatekeepers🤫

I got to try this today and all I can say is: Wow! This is a beautiful scent, very unique and not for everyone. It’s spicy, sexy and mysterious, the cinnamon, the cocoa, the plum and the wine! All so well blended and playful. The cinnamon and the wine are the stars of the show. This fragrance feels like a easier to wear Tobacco Vanille by Tom ford or like a 1 million priveé but less boozy and more juicy. And the performance is not bad at all, roughly 5-6 hours. Overall fantastic scent for cold weather, fall and winter, special events in all black attire. Can’t wait to add this one to my collection!

The overall scent is dominated by cinnamon notes. What sets this perfume apart from others is that it has fruity notes in the background. It's not a quiet perfume, which is a good thing. It's not bad for winter, but I wouldn't buy it. Why? Because it's not suitable for everyday use. It's perfect for dinner on a special day. Edit: The longevity is very good for the price. Even though it's been 5 hours since I put it on my wrist, I can still smell a fairly strong scent (a fruity marmalade-like sweetness in the foreground and cinnamon in the background). 6.5/10

It is not similar to Man in Black. Because Man in Black is boring and useless. This one is really nice. Also, it is not similar to Side Effect. Nothing in common at all, they are both cool but in different ways.

Another MIB clone by Mercedes. Select Night was alresdy similar. But this is pretty bad. It has a weird plastic sweet smell. Pretty mediocre

thought id really like this but its kinda sour and bothersome . no actually its really gross to me i literally gagged . smells like a mess in the kitchen thats been left sitting for days

This stuff sounds super intriguing, I’ve left glowing reviews on the last Sign Your Attitude which is truly an incredible fragrance, and even the first Sign was good but nothing to go crazy over. This Sign Your Power is definitely on my list to try and I will be reporting back 💯 Edit 10/17- I completely forgot I left this review to come back to! Ha I finally smelled Sign Your Power at a bouqitue on my honeymoon and wow, I think I should have went with it rather than Red Thrill by Mercedes which surprised me as well and is overall more versatile. SYP is some unique and different stuff for sure, more geared for cooler weather, and I truly have to admit MB is among the most slept on fragrance brands imo. The cocoa and red wine facets are insane, overall possessing a classy, refined, and decadent profile that really intrigues. It truly has a “special occasion” quality to it. Another banger from MB especially with fall here and winter approaching!

This one is pretty bad. A big disappointment. Extremely spicy and harsh. A mix of Nutmeg, sour wine, bitter cinnamon and cocoa powder. This is Not yummy, not soft and warm. It's overly spicy, dry, and lacks sweetness and/or vanilla to balance the mix. I just instantly regretted my purchase. Side effect is spicy but has sweetness. This is odd and dry

I sampled it at the mall. Smells like cranberry juice. Which is my favorite juice idk I could be wrong

I cant wait to try these, It seems fantastic. I'd always loved MB perfumes
