Balle Rouge

The iris is strong in this one. I've only tested this so this is just my first impression, but I'm immediately reminded of the waxy, makeup-like iris from Dior Homme Parfum. It's got that extra musky earthiness that separates DHP from DHI. The pink pepper right up front keeps it bright and fresh, and the citrus notes will help project the scent cloud early on. As it dries down the vanilla and tonka really take over and provide a creamy, buttery sweetness that softens that earthy iris into a powdery one. At this point it lays a little closer to the skin. I'll have to report back on the performance after a few full wearings. To me, this is very much a unisex fragrance. Don't let the packaging or gender voting deter you. I think it only has more feminine votes because of the marketing. A confident, well dressed man, can easily rock this. If you like iris fragrances like Valentino Uomo Intense or the Dior Homme line, you should definitely check this one out.

I don’t know what in the Harry Potter they did here but it’s absolutely phenomenal. It’s zesty, it’s feisty, it’s fiery, it exudes confidence. This is by nooo means a cold, earthy, rooty dry iris frag - it’s warm, waxy, a touch spicy/tingly creamy pillow-like semi-sweet vanillic lipstick iris. Oufff this is such a tease- it’s not loud but it definitely knows how to flirt with one senses 😜. It’s giving me naughty and mysterious vibes....if a smooth operator was a fragrance this would be it😏. Only a few of my fragrances can actually make me into my alter ego and this is one of them. Shout out to Joani_Cheddar review; it’s sassy and classy! Boyyy this is deadlyyy. Absolutely most definitely backup bottle and blind buy approved!

Abso-freakin-lutely AMAZING! I've been looking for my holy grail lipstick/makeup fragrance, I thought I had found it in Chanel's Misia but I am anosmic to that one (I am selling my bottle by the way, message me!). This one is stronger, sweeter, lipsticky/waxy iris. Dream come true for me. I only have a 10ml for now, purchased from Scents Angel (authentic and insanely good prices). Likely will get a full bottle soon. Edit: Instead of getting the full bottle, I purchased another 10ml instead. Should last me a lifetime lol. This is a potent extrait. Choked myself out with 5 sprays today!

Pleasantly surprised. Never was a fan of some lipsticks Iris I’ve smelled until I came across this one. 2ml sample from Scent Split....strong performer for those first 5 minutes then it starts to settle perfectly. Rather beast mode with great longevity. Didn’t know much about this line until Gabby Loves Perfumes reviewed it. If you want to add a beautiful vintage, classy Iris...this is it. Totally unisex!

My favorite from the line. I was afraid this was going to be too feminine leaning but to my surprise, this is perfectly unisex. Spicy lipsticky iris, reminds me exactly of big red gum. Last 10+ hrs and projects heavily. If you love iris, cinnamon (not listed but the black pepper mixed with tonka and amber give it that vibe), and want a long lasting quality fragrance, then look no further. 9.2/10

Absolute masterpiece, 10/10. Whist most of the fragrances from the house might not have been my cup of tea, this one is absolutely irresistible! So balanced, captivating and unique, very feminine! Lemon note only lasts for a few minutes, after that it opens up into the most gorgeous lipsticky powder iris! I can't get enough of it! Love, love, love!!!!

Fucking spectacular. This opens up very makeup bag. The whole wear is very makeupy but the opening is the most intense. I havent smelled lipstick on from MMM in many years but this reminds me of that but, a niche version. Some people are not gonna like the makeup scent but, for those that do your gonna like this.

wow, wow, WOW! If you're a vintage lipstick, waxy, iris fan as I am then this is a necessity. It's almost candy like but the right amount of powdery dry down. So easy to wear, so easy to layer with or simply rock solo. Leaves the most intoxicating scent bubble that lasts several hours! A BIG love!

Smells like lipstick, for me its really unique fragrance. However, despite of high concentration (around %30 essance) it doesn't lasts on my skin more than 5 hours, sillage is strong in a first 3 hours, then it fades quickly. Longevity: 6/10 Sillage: 7/10 Scent: 9/10 Price: 5/10 Total: 6.75/10

I am in love with this fragrance. Purchased a 5ml from scents angel and will be purchasing a full bottle asap. Classy, sexy, and grown. If you enjoy lipstick/makeupy fragrances then this to me is a must have in your collection.

Brilliant combo of lipstick iris with bergamot and subtle candied lemon. I find this one to be stunningly pretty and can’t get enough of it! It feels unique among my iris scents. Great longevity and moderate projection.

Candied lemon and vintage lipstick vibes right out of the gate. Then it melts into this gorgeous powdery vanilla iris. If you love iris, this is easily one of the best in my opinion!

This is the standout from this house IMHO. Gorgeous lipsticky iris scent that is a little on the sweet side, but not overly so.

I own a bottle that I got on a good price and I used the perfume 3-4 times over different seasons, it’s a “like very much” but not a “love”. It has indeed this playful makeup Iris and baroque vibe in general, but there is a sweet accord that is identical to several designer fragrances and it taking the scent down a notch for me, it’s the kind of intense sweetness that gets too much at moments. The fragrance smells really nice, performance is over12 hours on 3 sprays, where I can smell the scent almost non-stop! 👍 so for the price, you get a lot of experience. Just don’t let the hype in the reviews trick you into blind buying it, it’s pricy and not as ground breaking as it sounds and it has this exotic hard to find charm. I say this and I actually like the scent and am glad I got it.

Holy PLAY-DOH!!! It smells just like it... It's a nice scent, not as good as Lipstick On IMO, but it IS the most similar to LO that I have tried thus far. At first it smells like a lemon hard candy, like one of those old fashioned ones with the powdered sugar on the outside. As it dries down it smells more lipstick-y and waxy. The full presentation (bottle and box) of this product is on point. This fragrance is pretty beast mode and lasts all day on me.
