Delonix

I have had the chance of properly wearing it on the weekend. The weather was warm (for Summer) and not overly hot. So, with the first spray, the green mango comes through. If you haven't smelled it before you may not like it much but I have always liked the aroma. Anyways - if you dont like the initial whiff, give it time to settle. After a little bit, the mango sharpness slowly fades away to more floral notes. This is where Delonix shines - the middle notes mingle with each other and diffuse into an intoxicating aroma. So much so that I was catching a whiff of various notes for the next few hours. And I kept smelling my arms while driving. I think there is some neroli in there as well. It's not listed but I thought I could catch a little whiff of it. This is first time I had ever tried a fragrance with either green mango or delonix but this is worth adding it your collection. Lasted a few good hours on my skin and loving it so far. I have a small collection, but this one is different to any other that I own. Also had the opportunity to meet the perfumers at shop. They were holding a perfumer workshop there so it was such a fantastic visit. Will review again after a few more wears but so far ...so good! :D
