Mexx Woman

I met my boyfriend in Barcelona in august 2004. Before one of our first dates I put on Mexx Woman.I applied it generously in my hair as well as on my wrists and neck. I had the deodorant and the shower gel too to layer it. My boyfriend, who doesn't like perfumes in general, was wondering all night what the delicious smell was that he noticed in de bar where we were. It turned out to be Mexx Woman on me. It starts out fresh with citrus and alcohol and then settles down floral and amber and stays fresh. Sillage is moderate but I don't smell it anymore after an hour or so. Longevity in my hair seemed a bit longer... From 2002 untill a few years ago this was my signature. I really love the smell of it. I don't know if it is the perfume that has changed or if it is me, but lately I don't use it anymore. I think a man can wear this fragance perfecty well. My boyfriend uses my bottle too and it smells delicious on him ;-)

I got the perfume pen. Youthful, delicate, fresh, unisex leaning girly. Reminds me of a tall glass of sweet Iced Tea or coming out of the shower in the summer and wearing freshly dried clothes straight out of the drying machine, and laying on freshly changed sheets. I absolutely love Mexx's perfume pens they are the best at making any perfume last longer. 10/10

I used to love this fragrance when I was really young and couldn't afford it. When I finally bought it, it didn't seem as magical, unfortunately. So I think it is true what the description says, it is mostly suitable for a very young woman who wants to feel a little bit more grown up :)

I love it! there is something so beautiful about it, it's fresh but warm like a hug at the same time. Doesn't irritate my sensitive nose. I've rebought it like four times already. Perfect for every day, and good for layering.

I love bergamot! It's a sporty casual spring-to-autumn scent. Fresh, wearable in the office, not intrusive. A bottle of carefree lightness!

I love it and I like Mexx pure too because I don't like sugarsweet scent what makes me sick and gives me headache . :)

Inoffensive fresh and slightly sweet citrus scent. This is a very work appropriate, everyday fragrance. It does not overpower the entire room and is very neutral and fresh. I don't think anyone would be bothered by this perfume. The dry-down smells delicious. Of course it's not a very interesting scent and I wouldn't wear it to any special occasions, but it does the trick for normal days. I wear it a lot, it's just so pleasant. Definitely my favourite among the sweet citrus scents.

Oh I remember this was my first perfume I bought! I was around 13-14 and was so happy with it. My sister came from college one weekend and showed it to me :-D her fiance bought it to her lol reading these reviews seems guys like this perfume. I felt like Im maturing :) It is a citrus blended with yasmin with a bit of musk. Not too strong and very elegant. I remember it, it was a good one.

best from Mexx forever:) all these have their deodorant version which are surprisingly lasting andway cheaper, so i prefer to buy those. something i hardly believe is that none of the other big houses copied this classic. many perfumes nowadays has their twins created by all the brands, not this one though which makes it unique.

I like this one. It's fresh and clean, but not 'watery' fresh. And it's sweet, but not 'sugarsweet'. So there's a really good balance. A bit of citrus in the opening, but it's never sour.I think it's more for summer than winter. It lasts about 5 hours on me, good enough. A nice 'every day' or 'office' scent!

This perfume could be a (slightly more) feminine version of Boss Bottled. It could go as a unisex scent. I smell citrus notes and a nice woody base when it opens up. There's amber too. I'd say it's beautiful during warm weather and fall. Pretty! This would be a safe gift or blind buy.

It is quite strong for a citrus fragrance. Made for a bold girl, I think. Not a dreamy scent at all! It is energetic, serious, well balanced between citrus, sweet and orient.

I want a bigger bottle of this one:)i have to use a lot from it to make it last.

This is a pleasant, fresh sweet citrus fragrance. It’sa good fragrance if you want to smell clean and fresh without standing out. It’s a nice smell, not too heavy on the citrus, not screechy. It has decent silage and longevity on me. There’s nothing very memorable about it, but there’s also nothing off putting about it. I think it’s a safe blind buy as long as your skin tends to react well to citrusy fragrances. All in all a decent fragrance for the price. Clean, fresh, summery and uncomplicated. Very casual, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Note: I had an EDT version. Mainly citrusy scent, but more citrus juice rather than zest - unfortunately for me. High tempereture exposes cheap drugstore perfume vibe. Once I've detected a blackcurrant note - in cooler temperature. I don't smell any of listed flowers. On my skin it has bad lasting power, needs to be reapplied after 2h. I have to heavily overspray it. Moderatly elegant and inoffensive. I prefer using it more in spring rather than hot summer. In my opinion high temperature exposes the usage of probably more budget ingredients.
