Flight

Michael Jordan Flight is really interesting. Flight was my fourth Michael Jordan after Michael Jordan, 23 and Legend. It to me is the most complex. It is to me a combination of two Yves Saint Laurent scents, L'Homme and La Nuit de L'Homme. This makes it interesting. Flight has a strong open with orange blossom and bergamot. It really is pretty strong and smells really one my ex liked on me from first smell. Then it goes spicy in the mid with a strong pepper note though not as headachy as Villain or Sauvage are. I also notice woods in the mid before going to vetiver and amber in the base. Flight is really versatile. Flight works from about April until October/November, depending on cold snaps. It works day and night. Flight works in nearly any setting except for maybe upscale and club settings. The club is due to performance limitations and the upscale due to some synthetic notes. But, that isn't a knock on Flight. Flight does perform. It projects moderately for about an hour and a half, and lasts six hours. I would rate Michael Jordan Flight an 8.2 out 10. It is really the best scent from His Royal Airnesss' celebrity fragrance line. This is due to its daytime La Nuit de l'Homme take on L'Homme and the price you can find it going for in most bargain retailers like Ross, Marshall's and Burlington. I wish it would be a little stronger, but I can't really complain too much for the price.

Another blind buy for me, when I heard it was similar to YSL L'homme I ordered it, then I almost regret the purchase of this one while waiting for it to arrive but now as I ́m writing this I have it on my skin and I ́m so happy that I purchased it, it is very nice scent and IF it perform well I could have it together with Moschino Uomo as daily office fall perfume because it is pleasant, warm and inexpensive. I will write more about it later. Update: It lasted the whole working pass. You can't go wrong with this one, for that price you get a good juice.

Wow...I'm speechless...I believed your reviews and I bought it blindly. It's outstanding ! It smells verrry expensive. It has a fresh clean vibe to it but there's something in it that would easily allow you to wear this on a night out on the town or to work! Rating: 4.7 out of 5

The sprayer is bad, I spray 4-8 times. Longevity and projection also not good. Top note smells cheap. The dry-down smell is quite good, and the price really cheap. it lasts 2-3 hrs on my skin, projection is soft. Overall 6.75/10 Drydown 7.5/10

Smells lk yves saint laurent l'homme but not as sweet.. Also smells exactly like Inner Realm, I got to give MJ props on this one.. they did good.. best cologne by him I think, but everyones nose is different.. lol!!

Like a L'Homme reformulation but in a good way, it's bright, fruity, and manly at the same time. For the price this one is just too good. Get you some.

Jolly good stuff. Paid several bucks more than what you can buy in the US but it's ok. Yes, it is enjoyable for summer weather.

There are several ways to evaluate a fragrance. What seems to be the most common among everyday fragrance guys is when the price meets a smell good scent that's versatile and will last about 6hrs. Using that as our standard, then a scent like Nautica Voyage blows this out of the water on value as it is similarly priced as a sub $20 or so scent but does so many things so well and is an actual great scent. MJ Flight however makes its value proposition by accommodating a few things that a buyer may want: You want a smell similar to YSL L'homme but despite recognizing that L'Homme is well-blended, after awhile it's a little meh for the money? Do you wish L'homme was a bit fresher and more masculine and less French perfumey. Do you like fragrances that have a similar personality as a MB Legend but legend just doesn't quite do it for you even at a discounted price? Well MJ Flight might be your answer. The trade off's are that Flight has more of a blue shower gel vibe in the opening and can be smelled throughout the life of the scent and the quality is about 30% less than YSL L'Homme and 15% less than MB Legend. MJ Flight is a more darkish green, citrusy, mild spicy, white floral and easy to get a long with woody affair that will smell like something worth wearing for 4+ hrs, with about 4 sprays: each wrist and each side of the neck (at 5 and 7 o'clock), this does have a little something cheap in it that gets a bit heavy and possibly headache inducing if abused, but don't fret and start with less sprays. Flight doesn't entirely mimic YSL L'Homme but shares characteristics much how Mont Blanc Individuel shares many with Joop Homme but as in that case, some may be fans of one and not the other for the difference in the details. What this means for MJ Flight is that you get a fragrance that you can throw in your gym bag to smell pleasant during your workout, run errands on a Saturday, wear to a Tuesday afternoon matinee of action movies followed by a trip to Five Guys, and is appropriate up until a casual networking event where no one's taking anything too seriously and forgot their business cards but mostly came for the finger foods. Solid and nice to have in your collection for the price without many qualms. Best suited for Spring and Fall temps 40ish-60ish degree days into evenings but not really a night scent. Any age can wear it, but younger guys (H.S./college) will likely wear it more frequently or guys who aren't hardcore into fragrances can use it as a regular scent but it's not really a suitable daily signature scent for someone over 25 imho. 3 out of 5 for overall value.

I do really like this and agree thats its very similar to L'homme but with that said it still has its own character that seperates it. The main differences between L'homme and flight is that L'homme is a little more crisp and on my skin smells musky in the drydown where as this takes on a more smooth,woody,masculin approach. I do like the L'homme opening more but I do prefer the Flight drydown as the woods in the drydown are really quite nice. L'homme to me is kind of a metro scent where as this is a little more masuline for sure.(Which I like because sometimes L'homme could come off a bit feminine) Performance is only average around the board. It lasts on me about 3-5 hours and projects ok but nothing special All in all id rate this a 7 out of 10 ! I blind bought a gift set of this at a local dept store that no one shops at, for $13. I got a cool plastic bracelet or whatever the cool kids call them now days in it. I originally wanted MJ Legend but it was sealed up and the girl couldnt open it for me. This one had a scratch n sniff sticker on it. I almost typed Fierce.. Flight; reminds me of Fierce initially minus any floral notes, to me at least. la nuit de' l'homme's base is similar to this, (the sample of la nuit I had smelled of a stale ashtray with old cigarette butts.) Yet Flight smells like la nuit homme at that point, (minus the ashtray) from what i remember of it sprayed on the card. I enjoy the smell of this when it settles.

Just picked this one up based on the reviews comparing to YSL L'homme. Upon initial spray I get something that smells closer to Mont Blanc Legend, however, it quickly dries down and starts to smell more like L'homme. It's not as natural smelling as L'homme but definitely not the most synthetic cheapie I have encountered either. Longevity isn't as long as L'homme. This lasts about 4-5 hours with maybe an hour of solid projection before settling closer to the skin. While not a total replacement for L'homme I am still pleased to have this in my collection as a basic errand running scent. Among the Michael Jordan fragrance line I would put Flight as a close second to Legend.

Lightly Soapy-Clean Slightly Sweet-Spicy-Woody Gives off a champagne like smell initially lightly sparkling/fizzy/bright & sweet, clean-lightly soapy, a bit warm-sweet w/ hint of spice & woodiness, spice comes out more as dries but never bold/prominent, and gets slight creamy & powdery while remaining clean-lightly soapy at the forefront; smells good, inoffensive, very light & subdued, versatile can be worn year round day or night casually or formally Projection/Sillage' is LIGHT, in-close scent due to it's lightness. Performance/Longevity is DECENT, on fabric last about 4-5 hours

Gosh! Flight does give you that YSL L'Homme vibe, and I bought the 6 oz. body spray today for $7. This is an excellent YSL L'Homme knockoff for those any occasions when you don't wish to wear the original and/or prefer to save some money. The alcohol opening fades fast and the spicy/citrus/floral accords soon emerge for the dry down. I will be buying another as a backup. Give it a try if you see it in the body spray can. Update: It's an after the shower body spray so do not expect a 5 to 10 hour projection.

I really like this scent. It's a brighter, more fruity YSL L'homme on my skin. The performance is about the same to slightly worse as L'homme which sucks, but it's a cheapie so you get what you pay for. If you like L'homme then this is a safe, cheapie, blind buy and a good dumb reach for running errands or working out in warm weather. If this was a flanker I'd call it "YSL L'homme Sunny Spring Day"

I did not have too much of an expectation from this fragrance when I blindly purchased it - as this is Michael Jordan fragrance. But, smell-wise it surprisingly exceeded my expectation by a lot. This one really is similar to YSL L'homme, which still to the date one of my favorites from the house. The only downside is its weak performance.

I have LNDL but I don't have L'homme. I find the open very much similar to LNDL. Not bad for the price. I can't complain about the longevity because of how affordable this is. I mean, the LNDL 2.0oz was $35. SMH. This is much better than MJ 23. 23 is just plain juice water. Legend will be my next buy.

This is not bad but the longevity isn't that good with this. You'll probably get a few hours if applied generously on clothing. The smell from the start is pleasant for sure. This is good for the younger crowd. The Jordan fragrances provide a great value for the price.

This used to be one of my "signatures". Great "starter" fragrance for someone. I am a huge fan of basketball and grew up watching Jordan, so I will always have a small affinity towards anything MJ. ;) but, it is what it is - a starter scent. A good one though. :)

This is a really pleasant fragrance. Flight is very fresh and is perfect for the spring and summer. As j-shades stated this smells very much like YSL L'homme but not as smooth or as sweet. Projection and Longevity are avg.Definitely worth the price.

Nice mix of YSL L'Homme, L'Homme Intense and a bit of Bruno Banani Pure Man. Also very good price for decent scent. Avarage parameters but not worse than todays batches of YSL. If you like YSL go get it, you will not be disappointed !

Smells great but doesn't last long on me unless you spray a lot on your clothes! Great gift for a very young man.

YSL L'Homme, yes, it does smell very similar. L'Homme is blended so much better, though, so much better. This is a little more manly because of the stronger pepper note, l'homme smells a little feminine to me sometimes. Like everyone else has said, longevity on this is terrible. Smells great when you spray it, but on my skin it's completely gone in 2 hours, completely gone...not even a skin scent...**poof** Really, that's ok, because it costs like $13 for 100ml. I'll probably go for l'homme when this runs out, but it's a decent substitute for now.

Inferior to the original, which at least has a citrus/musk vibe as opposed to Flight's botched seafoam / aquatic notes and musk vibe, which is better accomplished through the likes of Express Loyalty and Nautica Voyage N-83, if that's what you're going for. Granted, those options are slightly more expensive, but not by much, and Flight just misses the mark, but you get what you pay for. I thought the original was weak and generically alcoholic with the actual notes subdued, but Flight is much worse in that it's more pungent in the wrong way. Nonetheless, I'd still like to try Flight Sport and especially Legend, which remain the four pack I bought. 4 out of 10

I like it a lot. It's sweet, gingery, a bit reminiscent of aromatic fougeres like "Pure Lavender" by Ferrari. I don't really think this is a "woody spicy", and to me it seems more like an aromatic fougere, or perhaps aromatic plain and simple. Some people complain that the sprayer is not good, or at least a bit strange. What I noticed, which I think is awesome and rather subtle, is that the sprayer "paints" the picture of two wings! Seriously, I think the sprayer is itself made in such a way that it "casts a shadow" of the wing-theme on your skin (or piece of paper, if you want to see the effect more clearly). I thought it was a nice touch, and I don't think it affects the performance of the sprayer too much. But it does mean you need to aim properly (horizontally) because the sprayer is a bit uneven (it sprays more horizontally than vertically). After it dries down, it has a long-lasting amber-heavy scent. I am also reminded a tiny bit of the smell of play-doh. I hope to eventually figure out what the precise chemical or aroma profile that is, because I feel it on some other scents sometimes (such as the dry-down of Eternity by CK). If you like a sweet amber smell with some ginger and a fun sprayer at a very reasonable price, this one is for you.

Every person has a different descriptive sense of what is palatable. My thoughts at an earlier time, this fragrance would never be apart of my collection. Well.....I was wrong. There is definitely a Fierce, YSL, and the tail end of Curves for men present Is this. Three very popular Fragrances that have caught the attention of many women. This Fragrance is simple. Spray on, walk away, get compliments. It's a very underrated cologne. The compliments I received today were phenomenal. Unfortunately, I am allergic to all 500+ bottles I own. As a cardinal rule amongst cologne junkies. We are taught never spray on our clothes, and only on skin. Well, I have broken this rule and have discovered that most colognes project very well on fabric. So, just wear it!!

I wore this Fragrance 4 days in a row. I Have to say it is an clone or an inspiration of my fave, YSL Lhomme. To Me it smells sometime even better and the performance is almost the same also the scent is mostly the same. But this gives me more a vibe of an clean shampoo smell a very clean men. i love this fresh out of the shower smell. i can really recommend this perfume but dont except more performance because thats not the case. If u want a similiar scent profile with better performance, Armaf Club de Nuit Man, its an 1 Million clone but they added Ginnger in it, it makes a hybrid of YSL LHOMME, 1 Million and spicebomb. its a very strong scent. Update: This has better Perfomance than YSL Lhomme

1 spray hour test: 1 hour: It projects well and the top notes are rounded off 2 hour: it projects lightly and the top notes are gone 3 hour: it becomes almost a skin scent with low projection 4 hour: skin scent with very low projection 5 hour: almost gone Smell: 8,5/10, nothing overwhelming very mass-appealing, YSL L'homme clone. Perfomance: 6/10, average longevity and projection. conclusion: This is a very mass-appealing scent which is ideal for school or the office. Clean and manly. Very good alternative to YSL l'homme with very much the same scent and same performance.

So underrated. Absolute professional power house. Silent killer. Confident 25-45 year old performer. Just a delicious and cheap fragrance with the only sign of it being cheap is extra zest alcohol top note that lasts about 15 min. Still amazing all around. Longevity and projection are great on me. Way way better than current YSL L'Homme formula...I'm sorry fragrance community but ONE spray does not categorize longevity. Sorry not sorry!

Im wearing this Fragrance again and i have to say, i like it more than YSL Lhomme, i have no idea if this was consciously made to be a Clone of YSL LHOMME, or it is accidently smell a like. But again Side by side there are differneces, but the performance is very good of this Jordan Perfume, and it smells extremely pleasent in a way that u are just smelling like a Soap Bubbles in Shampo. It is really extremely good.

The rubber sidings can be removed if one finds it awkward. The scent is sporty and refreshing as usual. Pepper adds some sharpness but not a spicy vibe. I wouldn't exactly call it generic aquatic as it has some complexity and richness. Anyway, that's all I can say because I unintentionally washed it off too soon (-_-)!

Imagine a slightly more masculine version of YSL L'Homme. A bit more peppery and not as sweet. That's what this bottle is. For what it costs, it's definitely worth it. It smells like a much more expensive fragrance. I'd recommend it for casual to business- casual wear in the spring, fall, or winter.

it's by far the best Michael Jordan fragrance, not too strong but it does have that power you need, also it smells great, fresh clean sporty scent, and lasts a good 4-8 hours depending on how much you use. I could wear this fragrance anywhere really. I advise anybody to at least give it a try.

I would literally pay twice as much as I did for this fragrance. This smells like 50% YSL L'homme and 50% shower gel. If you want an extremely safe fragrance, you should definitely consider this.

Smells really good for the first 10 minutes then it gives me a headache. Normally what a heavy dose of chemicals do to me. Sold my bottle.

This one is lowkey a banger. Blind buy safe, sporty yet elegant. Timeless classic that deserves more recognition.

The sprayer on this juice is terrible. So don't be afraid to give it about 10-12 sprays. Just my 2 cents.
