Exotic Blossom

I just bought this perfume after spending 6 hours sniffing aaaaallllll the perfumes available here at the perfumery! I thought I was gonna go home empty-handed! I tried this last minute right before leaving and I'm so glad that I stopped to try it before giving up completely (I am currently waiting for my Uber ride to arrive). The image this scent conjures to my mind is a vibrant, confident, energetic, beautiful, enigmatic, flawless seductress on the beach with salt in her hair, sunburnt skin, an unpretentious gale of laughter lifting from her chest! And yet... her soul is deep... she has had experiences in life that have matured her understanding of people and the world around us. She is both confident and kind. She feels things deeply; but at the same time, she runs to the beach for the feel of the sand on her feet and the sun on her skin! Her hair is messy, salty, and her soul glows! Sighs. Think I've found my new signature fragrance! This is definitely a skin scent, which makes you smell like sexy skin, without all of the usual ingredients that normally promise the smell of skin. It's not powdery, it's not showery; it's the scent of skin after eating ripened mangoes with your bare hands in a beach hut with a vase filled with wild roses propped up on the rattan table. Sticky-sweet-wild skin.But very light and unobtrusive. Suitable for the gym, doing yoga, a summer walk... an intimate date... I can imagine myself wearing this to all ocassions because I cannot imagine it giving anyone a headache! And can we please talk about the bottle? It is absolutely impeccable! Heavy, coloured glass that is so smooth it looks like plastic! So modern, so efficient, so easy and avant garde and unfrivolous! This is exactly the kind of bottle I want to carry with me everywhere and pull out for retouching in front of people! It's so deliciously classy, nothing garish or vulgar about it... minimalistic energy that looks like sunlight itself!

I bought a bunch of new summer perfumes and this one was intriguing to me based on reviews. (blind buy) Upon first spray, I was instantly transported to 1995 because it smells exactly like Estee Lauder Pleasures. This was a perfume my mom gifted me and I had been wearing it all that spring and summer until it got stolen (was in a handbag). My first memory was the 2 ex-boyfriends I dated over the summers of '95-97 - one not a good memory and so it left the bottle sitting on my perfume tray for weeks. Then I tried it again, remembering my mom (RIP my love) and that was the olfactory memory I decided to stick to and can now feel cozy and hugged by her. It makes me want to purchase Pleasures just to see my mom in the bottle.

A pretty scent, discrete, and not as much -imho- scenting like the top note mentioned. Indeed no mango but rather zesty tangerine. Not exotic either, more mediterranean: it actually reminds me of Arancia di Capri of AdP! I feel no connection to the summer scents series of Escada: Exotic Blossom is too zesty flowery musky for that, and hardly can be called sweet or tropical; at least not on my skin. So all in all a very pleasant scent for al seasons. However, if you are looking for a sweet tropical juice, the name and notes mentioned might be confusing since EB does not bring you exactly that.

What is this? I expect to get mango - and I get a short-lived and intense version of Lauder`s Pleasures! Colour me surprised. Now I just checked the other reviews and see that I am not alone in this perception. Pleasures has far better staying power than Exotic Blossom though. I find no mango in Exotic Blossom, just lily of the valley and some other spring flowers. Fresh and pungent and totally un-exotic - at least if you grew up in Central Europe, where you can find lily of the valley in the woods in spring. I love the orange glass of the bottle, though.

I would really like to know if there is absolutely no staying power to this perfume, or if I got a bad bottle. As soon as I spray it on myself, it's gone. I have never experienced this with another Michael Kors perfume. I would like to order another bottle to test my theory, but I'm not willing to spend another $30 - $40 for a possible second dud.

I wouldn't really class this as tropical. The first spray is a lovely bright mango/peach but that soon dries down to a light sweet creamy powdery scent. There is nothing extraordinary about this scent. It is a very safe and simple fragrance probably best suited for a warmer climate to give it a bit more power.

The top notes didn't smell quite like mango in my opinion. At least I didn't get that impression. It's a bit floral and very mildly tropical. I don't think, it's the most exotic scent I know. The base notes are barely there, I almost smell nothing at all. Basic and simple, not impressive.

Tropical mango scent, simple and summery. Longevity should be better.

I previously reviewed this in winter when the scent was barely noticeable but now, in the heat of spring I'm really enjoying it. The warmth really brings out the nectar and juicy mango but it isn't too sweet. Love.

Same exact scent as pleasures from Estee Lauder . It has nothing exotic as a scent.. It gives a very fresh feeling.

This smells like you’re eating a solero ice lolly while applying sunscreen or like you just applied sunscreen and then accidentally spilled a tropical cocktail on yourself. Not dreadful but I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase again. It was a nice at-home spray during the first lockdown summer. You’re better off with the mango spray from the body shop, not complex but it smells like actual mango.

I can't believe there're only 3 notes listed to this perfume. It strikes with exotic sweetness but fast develops into a grassy, almost aquatic substance. Musk is very subtle, the fragrance is hardly warm. Frankly, I expected something slightly more, it's plain boring and one of many. As Nataliemarie below mentioned, you indeed smell peach rather than mango

Meh. I definitely get a fruity orange vibe off of this rather than exotic blossom of any kind. It's summery--and despite not being listed, I think there is a salty aquatic vibe here. It feels like a perfume you could wear by the pool, but why would you? It also seems sort of cheapie-drug-store to me, and has absolutely no staying power.

Mostly musky sort of nondescript mild fragrance that doesn't have much mango and smells nothing like Taj Sunset. Bummed I based a blind buy on 5 people who compared it. Poor decision impulse buying.

I totally get the Pleasures association, however, I find this fragrance way less cold and metallic and quite sweeter due to the obvious fruityness. Actually, it reminds me more on Morgan Sweet Paradise that i only have a scent memory of from my early 20's. Anyway, I think this is a pleasant fruity floral no really depth and exqisite quality here but a fun fragrance for one's everyday chores. I actually get the mango vibe but it's freshen up with citruses and it's a very fortunate case that I prefer it this way and not the sirupy type of ripe mangoes. I also agree that it has a slightly beachy vibe and layers very well with Jeanne Arthes Love Generation Mystic (that is a dupe for Olympea so it might layer well with Olympea too but I've never tried that combo yet). A pretty, girly, very unserious fragrance that is OK as its scent goes but one would expect more from a Michael Kors....

Don't know about this one. I like quite a few Michael Kors perfumes, and if I can find one at a discounted price, I always go for it. This one is interesting. The initial spray is nice - nothing complex, just a nice fruity scent. It definitely lacks depth, but then again, who cares, since it's a "tropical" fruity perfume being sold at Marshalls for under $50. The main problem I have is that after the initial impression, I am left with a strange smell that reminds me of those vacuum/carpet cleaner powders (I had a dog living indoors...) from the early 2000s, or even cleaning products/room sprays such as febreze - it's that type of scent, unfortunately for me.

This opens initially a little like the harshness of Romance - Ralph Lauren. At least Romance DOES BLOSSOM into something rather lovely. EB stays harsh. In other words, get the message, quickly !.. this is rubbish ! Dont let the bottle etc fool you. Its cheap smelling nothing. No mango no tropics, not to me. Perhaps a little cheap citrus. A little reminiscent of orange cordial perhaps.? EB is something to pacify or gift an adolescent teenage girl with. However, be careful if she has good taste or a sense for quality. Of course there are even cheaper options - that could prove better.

I have tried this quite recently. A few have compared it to the amazing TP by Escada. While it does resemble TP in the first few minutes with the delectable white peach note as well as some tart note it quickly becomes a generic jammy fruity floral. The vanilla note spoils this for me unfortunately. The bottle actually feels and looks more expensive in real life than in the pictures which is rare!!

I still have few more sprays of this left. I like it a lot. Most of my perfumes have been handed down from my mom who works in a perfume store so she gets a lot of stuff for free, heavily discounted or gifted in PR. This was one of them and it was a hit for me. Fruity floral, just like I like it. It is not too complicated as you can see by the notes so it made it very wearable and enjoyable.
