Extreme Blue

Blind buy at TJ’s and was well worth it. For me starts out citrus/ alcohol, but not as bad as some say, I think nose and skin are different for each of us. Love the pink pepper, this hangs in there for awhile. The dry down is silky smooth but still keeping fresh. But has a sweet undertone, but not to sweet. This is a real pleasant fragrance and I am now excited to wear it. On me it last 7+ hours and sillage is 3-4 feet for 2 to 3 hours and then hangs closer to the skin. Probably a warmer weather scent, but you could wear this in colder months in side such as an office ot even church.

I think this a wonderful blue fragrance that doesn't get talked about nearly enough because it's in that blue fragrance realm of Chanel BdC, Sauvage, Dylan Blue, etc.. I got a great deal on eBay for my bottle but scent-wise, this is definitely in the realm of Bleu de Chanel. If you're wanting something like that, look into this! It's a safe all season, all occasion, blind-buy worthy scent. If you find a good deal, get it and enjoy.

I am in shock... Ross had this fucking gem as $3.99... There was 2 labels on this, I was hoping the cashier would scan the $3.99 one instead of the $34.99 one. If she didn't scan the right one I was prepared to argue my case that there was a $3.99 price tag on it. To my luck, she scanned the cheap-$3.99 tag. I got hooked up so hard, this fragrance is super delightful. I cannot believe my luck!

Really like this one. Very different from the rest of the fragrances in my collection. Glad fragrantica finally added this so I could give a review. Very fresh and aromatic,long lasting for such a fresh fragrance. Much better than th original release from Michael Kors. Will be rocking this one all summer long and garnering complements.

I love this fragance ! It's sweet,very fresh,strong, green and a little musky. It's manly, modern but whith a vintage soul. Longevity 8.5/10 My clothes smell after I wash them Sillage 8/10 Have compliments (Hueles a hombre) =) Smell 9/10 Love it

its very aromatic and “blue” like the name suggests. i can picture me wearing this to do sports or golfing etc. personally i like the scent however i have never gotten any compliments so make with that what you will. 7.9/10

Fall out of love when i smell it for the first time, i inmediatly bought a flask. Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: 10/10 (12 hours on my skin) sillage: 8.5/10 A nice fragance for the day or spring summer nights.

Just tried this, it started nice fresh and spicy, then suddenly it almost vanished from my hand, i have never smelled a weaker fragrance than this.

This is hot buttered popcorn under a blast of citrus. Very elegant and grown up. Good staying power.

Blind buy from TJMaxx. First impression, reminds me of Nautica. Very fresh spicy and clean scent. Citrus & Soapy fresh. Very pleasant. Will be a nice one for warmer weather. Middle green notes come in after a bit and smell nicely blended. I wouldn't call this a blue scent. Maybe a Blue/Green scent if that's even a thing. I got the 3.4oz for $30. Wouldn't recommend paying more than that. I seen a 4oz on FragX for $80, I'd pass for that much. Keep an eye out at the Rack stores if it interests you. My SOTD this morning was Invictus original. Put on at 6ish. I picked up this extreme Blue at about 9:30. Sprayed 1 spray on the back of my hand to test it out and it totally overpowered the Invictus. Finally faded down after about 6 hours, but can still smell it if I just wave my hand around. Definitely strong and lasts.

Shares almost all the same notes of YSL ULtime but with a white musk instead of the YSl's ( cloying and boring in my opinion) Tonka, really the two fragrances are 75% the same. I agree with the descriptions of everyone below me that it's a solid like. It's a good one and could have its place but not special 6/10. Not really "blue-smelling" in the typical ozonic sense to me for what its worth. Also longevity is not great. It takes a total nose dive into oblivion after 3 hours. Update: The two fragrances are so similar there is no doubt that they were either created by the same company and used the same aroma chemicals or had the same creator (whether man or committee).

When I first got this, I hated it but it was a gift so i kept it. Now I think its a decent fragrance. Ive heard people say Coolwater smells like an old man NO this does. It’s not bad though, It has this weird respectful/Professional smell to it. Its a slightly fresh, Woody and Musky smell. But heavy on the wood. Though I don’t like it much this has gotten me a decent amount of compliments from coworkers and customers. I wore it to work to try and get rid of it. But after I started liking it more my bottle only had 15% left. Smell 5/10( But 7/10 for the amount of compliments)

This is a nice woodsy/musky scent which I enjoyed the smell of and I say I because "Extreme" is definitely not what I would call this one with almost no projection whatsoever. It became a skin scent almost immediately and within around 3 to 4 hours it was gone completely, which is sad because I did really love the the way it smells but could just be another one that doesn't work well on me personally. For now, will just cross my fingers and hope that they come out with a much more extreme version of this one. scent : 8/10 sillage : 3/10 longevity :4/10

Nice, super bright opening. Then become powdery and when I had some expectations - Bum! Soapy 🙁 It's not a bad scent but I don't like soapy fragrances. Can't wear them. Anyway this is just a first impression. Now after wearing it couple times I started to enjoy this one a lot. It's very aromatic and when wearing, is not that soapy. Very pleasant. More for warmer days as it needs some warmth to make it pop of the skin. It has an unique fresh scent. Can't think of many fragrances that it reminds me of. 7.5/10

I actually really like it, its a grower and more mature than you'd imagine. It's a really fresh scent with a BUNCH of cardamom, pretty much the only top note im getting together with a little bit of bergamot. It's more complex than other fresh cheapies so I would recoomend this, maybe not as a blind buy if you don't like cardamom

Smells like marshmallows, but less sweet. I'm not fond of this type of musk, it's not a traditional musk. I sprayed a tester on a piece of paper and thought it might be interesting, but on my skin is smells like marshmallows. Vanilla and sugar, I really don't get anything else from it.

Nice and fresh it lasted for about 6-8 hours on me or my clothing at work, and was commented how nice I smelt. A good summer fragrance I think maybe not strong enough for the £63 I paid but nice for a hot day.

Sophisticated, uplifting, energizing scent. Very good fragrance for it's price, and surprisingly very long lasting and projects beastly considering this is a citrus fragrance.

Pretty OK but I have some performance issues. For my nose this is quite light fragrance and after an hour I smell nothing. So I guess this doesnt work in hot summer days.

I have just received my order 40ml/€20 and I like it very much, it's very fresh and clean.

It’s fresh and sporty, nothing groundbreaking, just ok. Longevity could’ve been better.

This smells almost identical to D&G Light Blue Eau Intense.

Great cologne but doesn't project much

It's ok. Got it as my first cologne a while back, and for the price, it's not too bad. Definitely a spring/summer scent, and I'd pick something else for colder months + night. At first, smells very childlike, overpowering aromatic smells that aren't pleasing. Give it maybe 30 minutes and it begins to turn into a nice, "blue musk". Like others have compared it to, it's sort of like Blue de Chanel, and more on the soapy side. Longevity is honestly, pretty to very good. Will stay on your skin for a good 10 hours or so. However, for me, it only projects for about an hour.. maybe 2. Then it holds maybe a few inches of projection. Something that I have noted, and it is neither a pro or con, is that it smells exactly like Selsun Blue shampoo. But, that's expected considering both of them are.. well.. blue, and soapy. I don't really recommend it. You could get better for about the same price. If you already have a bottle though, I wouldn't go as far to say toss it. Overall 6/10

Spicy, aromatic, musky. To me, this fits in with scents like D&G's Light Blue and Versace Man Eau Fraiche. It's a spicy blue that feels most apposite in warm weather, more day than night but either would be fine. The scent is very pleasing, but the longevity on my skin, unless I'm going noseblind, leaves something to be desired. I don't know why the "reminds me of" section lists JV x NJ Blue. This smells nothing like that.

This does NOT smell like Elysium. There’s more similarity with Dior Homme 2020 but softer. This is ok.

It’s a no for me dawg. This smells like every blind buy gift collection I’ve gotten for Christmas from an aunt or some distant relative, (minus Avon Mesmerize, I love that one. And the original Curve, I love that one too). It doesn’t smell like an old man but it smells like what old men spray on themselves on Christmas morning. I can’t do that synthetic musky smell. It’s the cheapest smell you can imagine. Why? It goes back underneath the sink until I find someone that smells worse I can give it to.

This is so light and generic that it’s embarrassing. There’s nothing “extreme” about it. Get Acqua Essenziale by Salvatore Ferragamo if you want a cheap and decent “blue” fragrance.

My mother is a Michael kors fanatic and absolutely adores his collection. She bought my partner Extreme Blue for his birthday last year hoping we would love it like she does all MK fragrances. Little did she know she was bringing a little taste of hell into my mornings. My partner will wear anything really and doesn't mind wearing it, but good lord I HATE this stuff. The single worst part of my day is in the early morning when hes getting ready for work and the stench of this stuff blows out the house. It gives me an instant headache the second i wake up, making the air hard to breathe. He gets ready in 5 mins and hes out the door, but the stink lingers for hours. Thankfully after many attempts of trying to hide this cologne and it being spitefully found, my partners decided to finally retire it and gave it to his father. This fragrance reminds me alot of the stomach turning offerings from nautica. I truly couldnt be happier this is out of my life, and cant properly express/verbalize the relief i felt when it left the premises. I bet theres people who LOVE this cologne, then again theres people who love horrible things; black licorice eaters, coffee drinkers, drug users, ETC.

After 3 wearings! Very interesting scent as it’s kind of generic and a typical mens cologne smell while at the same time being interesting and has a lot of elements to it !!! This opens up VERY generic and synthetic and smells like a cheap Adidas or Michael Jordan cologne as it’s fresh,sporty but also very cheap and synthetic smelling !! However once it dries down it does change gears and becomes a warm fresh spicy/ while the citrus and musk also give it some nice barbershop elements to this !!! The drydown is where this shines (about an hour later) and it becomes more of a nice musky,silky smooth blue shower gel type of smell similar to what you would expect to smell in an old spice body wash!! (Which I think is quite nice) and would make this a nice work or after gym scent !! Performance on this is actually pretty nice on my skin !! It lasts 6-10 hours and projects nicely for 2 hours and then afterwards your left with a decent scent bubble ! Not a room filler but be easy on the trigge with this one as the mushiness could be cloying !! This also mixes with the skin chemistry nicely in the heat !! Overall rating -7.5 out of 10 ! A very nice under rated scent good for everyday use

A nice fresh, mature, musky, spicy, casual, soft, playful scent that is beautifully blended. Nothing too groundbreaking about this. Definitely not a crowd pleaser or a attention grabber. But you can still receive compliments. And if you don't get any. You can still expect people to stand more closer to you than usual & looking in your direction as well. The longevity is okay & could be better. I usually layer my cologne with essential oil that is inspired by the fragrance itself to get the performance that I truly desire. This unique gem will work it's magic during warmer weather while the sun is heating up your pulse points. I recommend wearing this in the morning instead of the evening. I would only wear this for. 1)Spring/Summer. 2)Hanging with women 35 & over. 3)Breakfast/Lunch dates. 4)Happy Hour. 5)Job/Office. 6)Dressing casual. I wouldn't necessarily grab this for. 1)Outdoor activities. 2)Hanging with the fellas. 3)Evenings/Nights. 4)Fall/Winter. 5)Dressing down or sophisticated. 6)Hanging with women younger than 35.

The color of this juice depicts this scent completely. This just smells like a "light blue." Not quite the extreme like the name says. It's very aromatic and it's very musky but it's more than that. It's a good scent overall, but something I probably shouldn't have gotten. I haven't used it much and probably won't use it much here in the summer. If I can best describe this scent, it would be, "A blast of aromatic oxygen." Something you might take a deep breath of and say, "ahhhhhhhhhh" as a sigh of released tension. This lasted a decent amount. I feel like it projects quite well also just because of the aromatic sharpness. Scent: 6.5/10 Longevity: 7/0 Sillage: 7/10 Overall: I wouldn't pay full price for this again. I feel like this is something that you would find at a TJ Maxx - if that's the case then it's worth the TJ Maxx discounted price.

Paper sample review....but I will say, for paper, I liked it immediately first sniff. Citrus opening and gets very herbal from there. I believe I smell sage. There is something about it that wants to make you breath deep, which could be the cardamom. Then a nice sexy musk oooolala... and a lala ;) I like, I like.... If this is just a paper sample, I can only guess what the real deal smells like. However "blue" is not the color I get here. It should be called "Aquatic Green". I would definitely turn my head if a guy wore this masterpiece.

Long lasting if it touches your clothes at all. I put some on the back of my hand and my fleece apparently touched it. My fleece held that smell for weeks. Nice scent, but not amazing. I remember it lasting well on my skin, but only used my tester once, so I will have to try it again to be sure. I felt when I wore it that it projected well. I don't agree that musk is the strongest note. I will try it again and update this when I get a chance.

Got 120ml at a duty free clearance, it's in a taller bottle than the 70ml one. It reminds me of Sander for Men and Ralph Lauren Romance for Men, which means you might also like YSL L'Homme Ultime. I also think this is Gucci Rush Men + sparkling citrus & spices.. It has quite a tenacious musky base that makes the spicy woody aromatic scent linger for many hours. Very good value purchase..

Gross, synthetic, cheap smelling. Tried a sample at Costco. I got s horrible migraine 15 minutes of having it on my skin. Along came an upset stomach. I wouldn't recomend it for anyone or any occasion. I wouldn't take a bottle for free and if I had a bottle, I would throw it away because I would be so embarrassed to give it to someone. Terrible and disgusting stuff

Also picked this up for $30 at the local rack store, not at all disappointing for that price. It’s not overly original, but smells nice. Reminds me a bit of Mr. Burberry Indigo - a green-leaning scent with “blue” tendencies. Clean and fresh off the top without ever having any sweetness or fruity smell, drys down to a slightly warm and fuzzy musk. Very pleasant.

the best part of this fragrance is in the drydown..thankfully......the opening is a bit off putting IMO...quite synthetic. The magic happens about an hr into the fragrance...there is the soft yet fizzy musky/green/juniper and cypress. Completely pleasant from there on till the end. Quite a compliment getter ..a soft clean sexy inviting scent.

this is absolutely fabulous. Its very unique and very rare smells i every try. bought one big bottle. my optinion is not lasting so long as i thought. Like compare to acqua di parma essenza, this one last more than 8 hours ))) but the extreme blue is ok for a day, its really nice for the night too.

I love this fragrance. Last fall, I was able to snag a large bottle from Marshall’s. It’s a unique fragrance with a very strong presence and lasts a long time on my skin. It's a woody take on freshness. I'm sad that it will eventually disappear.

Citrucy opening with a lovely musky dry down. Very pleasant, it projects and lasts way over average. It's a mass appealing fragrance, a compliment getter and a great value for money!
