Michael Kors White

i have to give a shout out to michael kors "original " line of perfumes..........i love them !!!! especially michael kors white..........amazing full bodied floral scent...........the tuberose & gardenia are intoxicating & ever so dreamy in this formula :) as with all the earlier scents from michael - if u love heady florals with tuberose or gardenia u will love his earlier stuff ............and this scent as well as earlier ones they were blended so nicely that once u sprayed the creaminess settled into a beautifully lasting floral dream that lingered on :) ahhhhh i miss these kind of scents - i want more of these lol...........there is a place for these dreamy florals - for some reason they are so comforting - they are like comfort food to me lol i felt like the earlier scents were made with passion & were thought out well - wonderlust line is a good follow up i would say :)

White is a perfect name for this white floral of tuberose, gardenia, and jasmine. The beauty of MK White comes out during the drydown after the second or third hour. Upon first spray, MK White smells like the original, but once it dries down the lovely vanilla and amber base warms up the scent and removes the sharpness of the tuberose. I love the base of this perfume. It's a softer but crisper and greener version of the original. On me, this fragrance is influenced much by the weather or body chemistry. Some days the creamy floral blossoms on me, but other days the crispness of the white florals bloom on me and smells a tad peppery/metallic/musky, maybe from the cedar and aldehydes. The perfume is more expensive than the other versions, so I used my anniversary coupon and rewards from Kohl's to purchase it.

I had tried this on a tester strip a couple of times before and thought it was nice but nothing extraordinary. Today I tried it on my skin, and OMG, it's incredible. In addition to the original Michael Kors, it reminds me of 212 Carolina Herrera, which took me a while to figure out, but it's like a perfect blend of both perfumes. If you normally go for white florals, I highly recommend trying this on your skin.

Much more green than the original. I really, REALLY like this. I always found the original to be much too sweet. MK White hits the nail on the head, removing the cloyingly sweet edge of the tuberose, and adding wet violet leaves and amping up the heady and buttery gardenia instead. It's a Big White Floral, and it succeeds in every way.

I am not usually a big fan of florals. I say usually because this one... OMG! It is stunning. I finally understand the word creamy when used to describe floral perfumes. This is sweet creamy feminine fresh and gorgeous! I am so glad I bought this. This is changed my thought about floral perfumes. I love it!

A gorgeous creamy white floral. It smells like a women who is wearing a pure white floral perfume but is smoking at the same time. I still love it though. A very interesting perfume a mix of floral purity and smokiness.

Love this scent. it has a bit feminine, i would like to wear this though. not too sweet like the MK original, not too strong. creamy floral and green, this is a beautiful scent. Reminded me to Narcisor Parfum

Very Nice! Gardenia Rules! This is a pretty, feminine white floral--that is appropriate for most day activities. I have one drop left in my bottle, I must repurchase...

This needs to come back- a staple/ not a limited edition. I will truly be sad when I can no longer get this!!

I'm honestly shocked everyone keeps saying this is the same as the original Michael Kors perfume with the brownish/yellowish juice. ....It is not. Just because they are both white florals does not mean the are the same. And they do NOT smell the same. The farthest I can go with it...is that you can tell they're both white florals and most can probably even tell they're both from Michael Kors' fragrance line. This however, does NOT smell like a dupe of it. The difference in the two is very much represented in the packaging / color of the bottles. The original is a very creamy, dense, richer white floral. Whereas Michael Kors White is a very "linen" white floral. The tuberose also smells much more intense in the original. Think of...this one being similar to the original but being called "Michael Kors White Cotton." Or something to that effect. It smells good...and the projection is NO JOKE! This easilyyyy projects 5 feet, if not 6-7 feet. If pressed however...I'd have to say that I'd choose the original over this one any day. This one however is still pleasant. Scent Itself - 7.5/10 Projection - 9/10 Longevity - About 8 hours. This isn't a shy perfume. But also not going to suffocate anyone (unless oversprayed. Use 4-5 sprays MAX!) Overall Score - 8/10 I voted above for this one with a like. It's definitely pleasant. A definite like. Probably not one that I will repurchase after my 1 ounce bottle is gone. But it smells good and is a very nice choice for summer! A great jeans / white T shirt fragrance for casual outings with friends or picnics. This one screams "daytime perfume." Thumbs up. Might not be signature scent worthy in my book but it's definitely worth a try! Thumbs up Michael Kors!

I have never tried a Michael Kors fragrance, except for Amber. I could take or leave that one. I personally like this one. I have never tried the original Kors, so if this smells like the original, I would have liked that one too. So that being said, I will not be trying the original, unless I can't find this one. This is not a loud fragrance. The tuberose calms down quite a bit leaving a lovely trail behind. I have Fracas and don't wear it often because it gets to be just too much. This is just right.

Expect a tubérose blast when you first spray it,Kors White remains very floral throughout, so for me really, too much is too much!! It almost gave me a headache on first spray, I would call it a bit sharp also...lovers of big florals will definitely like this one!! I am not keeping it, I expected creamier, smoother!!! This is like the original in my opinion, not much of a variation !?

This is a 'white' white floral. Think of a gardenia hand cream. It sits somewhere between Cacharel Noa, Anais Anais and Dior's Pure Poison. I don't get much of the resemblance to the original MK, which is much warmer. The original scent is there but it's hidden by a white hand cream smell. Very pretty.

This is white floral heaven. Similar to original but this is soapier Still sweet and creamy though Classier than the original imo because it smells so fresh in a sharp way (aldehydes) I'm not sure about sillage because I only sprayed it on a card but the smell is still there strongly a day later.

I absolutely love this scent! It's so feminine and white, (so it's actually exactly what you would expect it to be). After a while you are going to get the hint (bit more than a hint) of green, what I personally really love. So it's a interesting, well-layered scent! Love love love this one!

This is a soft everyday perfume very light yet smooth on skin those earthy notes come out and I'm a fan of women's perfume that has a musky yet sweet smell to them 7/10 Perfume Aura .

I wore this all morning and to me smells as if they took the original Michael Kors and mixed it with Michael Kors Sheer. It has elements of both, though creamier than both of them. It also borders on cloying, so you have to be careful when spraying. Unlike the signature, this has poor staying power. Gone within 2 hours. But since this is still relatively inexpensive right now, which is a surprise considering it has been discontinued, it won't break the bank to reapply. While I think it's nice, and will use it on occasion, I don't love it. I prefer Sheer, which is my favorite from this line. Edit - The enamel bottle stinks. The paint is peeling off of it, especially around the sprayer.

Smells way too much like the original for me to warrant a purchase. I do love the original, but it has to be said...Kors is banging out far too many scents at the moment that all smell very similar. He's got like one original scent with 50 'tweaked' flankers! C'mon!! He needs a new line free of Tuberose and Gardenia, I can't be the only one that's thinking this right?!

I am ready to swap it is not my type of perfume write if you are interested people who live in Europe please

A creamy tuberose that is very green. I personally don't like it. It seems more medicinal than pleasant.

I just blind bought this, based on great reviews and positive experiences with other MK fragrances. I’m so disappointed... it’s nothing like I expected based on the notes listed, and I’m sad to say, I think it’s pretty awful. The opening is a very sharp sour chemical smell, with a hint of jasmine... middle is a slightly burnt jasmine and mild generic ‘white flower’, and dry down is the merest hint of tonka. Thankfully, this whole cycle was no more than 2 hours, so in this case, poor longevity was a bonus. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, but if you’re still interested, I’d definitely try before you buy :-)

I bought this over the weekend at a large pharmacy chain...it was hugely discounted and I immediatelyliked it on paper. Had never heard of or seen MK White before, even in large department stores. At first, White seemed very similar to the Original Michael Kors fragrance (thank God it doesn't have the same deadly, defective sprayer)but on the skin it changes rapidly and morphs into a huge bouquet of white flowers. Gardenia is predominent and it is REAL gardenia, not the usual weak, synthetic excuse for gardenia. The Tuberose is nicely modulated and the fresh green scent of violet leaves balances things nicely. Usually, airy aldehydes are a deal breaker for me but I feel that it's the addition of this note that really differentiates White from the original MK, adding a modern twist for those who find the original too mature (I still love it and have several backups). White has great sillage and longevity, attracting some compliments too. Like a true fragrance hoarder, I bought a couple of back ups as I believe this is a limited edition. If you love big,classic vintage florals with a modern, ethereal twist.... you'll love Michael Kors White.

Huge floral, with emphasis on tuberose and very heavy on the gardenia and white musk. Strong similarity to the original Kors scent. I had expected something more with a bit more edge, and a stronger influence from the fresia. This was a blind buy that will be evacuated from my perfume cabinet and hopefully find a new home. The White Kors scent is very nice, but doesn't suit me. My lasting impression is that this is somewhat dated, or perhaps an effort to please the vintage affectionados?

I recently had the chance to test it from my sister's bottle and i have to admit this is white floral heaven. Its creaminness and voluptouness mesmerizes you immediately after sprayed. Even though big white florals is not my cup of tea, i surely suggest it for those who love whites like my sister who loves it!

Heady white floral full of tuberose and hint of aldehydes. This is basically a lighter version of the original so if you like that, go for it. If you already have original MK, skip it, because its almost identical

Smells exactly like Ellen Tracy, Radiant, if you're looking for a dupe. There's a sweetness in this one I don't care for. Needless to say, I don't love Radiant either. I'll be passing them both on...

I like it because I love white florals, but it doesn't last on me, so I don't wear it often. Pretty before it disappears though.

This is quite nice, but not for me. I think too green for my preferences. It reminds me of lovely fresh clean laundry.

Tuberose blast, floral, but it has a bit of warmth to it. Minus all the spice that was in the original.

Michael Kors has a fixation with gardenia and tuberose.Those two are too intense, especially together.
