Sangria+Embers

This stuff is very well done, but I'm absolutely dumbfounded as to why it's not marketed as unisex. I find that it even leans slightly masculine to me, in the exact same way Polo Red Intense is slightly masculine. Also, they are very much the same style of fragrances. Red fruit forward opening and mid with a beautifully and expertly done saffron note along with some nice amber woods in the base. This stuff just doesn't have the light coffee note the Polo has, while Polo Red Extreme really ramps up the coffee and woods while backing off of the red fruits and saffron. I prefer Intense and then this and Extreme are equally well done, this one leaning towards slightly warmer weather and Extreme definitely reserved for the cold stuff. I've been searching for another fragrance to fill those discontinued gems and this is the best I've found so far. I'd love to see niche brands tackle something like this but I guess it's too mainstream of a style for them, but it seems like making sales would be something all but the most exclusive brands would want. Outside of Royal Crown, Clive Christian, Roja Dove and the like, I can't understand why there aren't more PDM type brands out there as successful as they've proven to be?!?

Just bought this at House of Dubai, a new perfumery in Chicago that I highly recommend! Wow. Wow. This is such a sexy perfume. That saffron note is outstanding. The projection? Insane. I could smell the two sprays I put on my forearm through my hoodie and coat while booking it down Michigan ave in 20-degree weather. I was like, DAMN, I SMELL GOOD!! Such an elevated, luxurious adult perfume. I am a rose hater but don’t get any rose note from this at all even though one is listed. It’s just so beautiful.

A banger from the Micheal Malul house. The fragrance opens up fruity then you get hit with the floral notes and finally the smooth sandalwood dry down. The one thing that I will also say about this house is that they don't make beastmode fragrances, but the scent profiles are mostly all beautifully done. This to me is one of their top 5 fragrances. I own 34 bottles from this house. Great unisex scent done here. The fruits, flowers and sandalwood blend so well.

If Sangria Saffron is daytime scent, this is more of a night time scent. Both are similar yet this one is more dense with heavy amber and tonka combo. The sillage is exceptional and stays 9-10 hours on my skin. This is bit unisex compared to SS, Smells amazing altho I prefer SS over this. Scent: 8/10 Performance: 9/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Very good fruity, floral, sweet smell that is unisex, possibly VERY SLIGHTLY feminine-leaning. I wore it today though and my girlfriend thinks that it is very unisex, which I can agree. On paper strips it seems to smell feminine-leaning, but on skin it suits any wearer in my opinion. Excellent fragrance!
