Siesta Key

Being from Florida, when I saw fragrance by the name "Siesta Key" I was immediately curious as to what it smelled like. Before ever looking up the notes on Fragrantica, I had the associate at boutique fragrance store in my local mall hand me a tester so I could try it out. It only took one spray to make me smitten. Did it smell less masculine than a lot of fragrances I have currently? Yes. But...not in a bad way. Let me explain. If you take all the notes this fragrance has in it, there are only two that either don't exist, or rarely exist in a fragrance deemed more masculine. Those two would be Mango Blossom (used in no "male" fragrances) and pitahaya (dragonfruit), which is only used in two male fragrances and, surprisingly, the Axe Body Spray "Hot Fever", from 2008. The rest of the notes are used individually or collectively, in masculine-leaning fragrances, which is why I am not surprised that after the initial spray, this gets even more appealing to me. The dry down could pass at the very least as unisex, as it's a familiar combination used widely, and in abundance, even though some of the mid notes linger. This is such a great hot weather fragrance. More importantly, it mentally takes me to another place that brings calm and peace. Every time I spray it on, I feel I should send Alexis Grugeon a co-pay for therapy services rendered. 9/10

If you are into fruity fragrances, go for it. This is a nice fruity/fresh/sweet perfume. Best suited for day time/summer/spring. Smells great definitely will get you a lot of compliments. And it's pretty much it's own thing. Little bit similar to MJ Perfect but stays much longer than Perfect. Scent: 9/10 Performance: 7.5/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Tropical fruity floral deliciousness. Youthful, uplifting, sweet. Island beach, soft white sands, palm fronds swaying in warm tropical breezes. Biting into a plump, luscious guava, juices spraying your face, dripping down your arms. Yeah. This. 🏝️🥭🌺😎

This is just lovely! Tropical fruitiness that lasts for HOURS! Just perfect for spring and summer. I'll be using it a few times in the cold winter to make me remember there's a sunny light at the end of the tunnel of winter.

Reminds me instantly of Victoria's Secret's - Bombshell Isle - but with more depth. This is nice. Being from Florida and going to Siesta Key quite often, I love the nostalgia. I have the travel spray - but if I found a larger bottle for a good deal, I'd snag it. Do I need this? No. But I do like it. Not bad longevity, either, seems to linger on skin and cling to my clothes. A lot of easily found comparisons, but this does have a touch of something more to make it a bit more bold and enjoyable. The opening is really fantastic.
