Vanilla+Crème

I think this is one of the most underrated fragrances on the market. Hardly anyone talks about Michael Malul, and I genuinely don’t understand why. The quality is excellent, the price is incredibly fair, and the performance on my skin is fantastic. I first smelled this last year while I was visiting the U.S., back when I was still very much in my “clean fragrance” era. At the time, I couldn’t understand why I loved it so much. I wasn’t really into rose yet, and I certainly didn’t know that I had a soft spot for fruity florals. Looking back now, I honestly think this was the first fragrance that made me realize how beautiful that style of perfumery could be. I thought I’d never be able to get a bottle because it’s not available here in Spain. So when my husband traveled to the U.S., I ordered it to where he was staying, and today I finally have it in my collection. It was absolutely worth the wait. I know some people get hung up on the name, Vanilla+ Crème, expecting a rich gourmand vanilla. Yes, there’s creamy vanilla here, but that’s only one piece of the puzzle. This is a gorgeous fruity floral vanilla, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It opens with a vibrant burst of juicy pink grapefruit. There’s a slightly tart, almost bittersweet quality that immediately grabs your attention. Then the blushing pear comes in, adding a beautiful juicy sweetness, while the white currant gives the opening an extra sparkle and keeps everything feeling fresh. As the fragrance settles, the heart starts to bloom. The jasmine sambac adds a luminous floral touch, the Bulgarian rose is soft and elegant rather than overpowering, and the almond blossom gives the whole composition a creamy, almost airy texture. None of these notes dominate. They’re perfectly blended, creating something that feels effortless and incredibly pretty. The dry down is where I completely fall in love all over again. The creamy vanilla becomes smoother and wraps itself around a beautiful skin musk. The caramel adds just enough warmth without turning the fragrance into a dessert, while the vetiver keeps everything balanced and gives it surprising depth. What I love most is the scent bubble. It has this clean, almost shampoo-like quality, but it goes so much further than that. It never smells flat or generic. It has brightness from the fruits, elegance from the florals, softness from the vanilla, and depth from the musk and vetiver. Everything feels seamless. This isn’t Bianco Latte, and it isn’t trying to be. If you’re looking for a thick, dense gourmand vanilla, this probably isn’t the fragrance for you. But if you love bright grapefruit, juicy pear, delicate florals, creamy vanilla, clean skin musk, and fragrances that feel effortlessly beautiful without smelling like everyone else, I think this deserves so much more attention. To me, it’s one of the prettiest fruity floral vanillas I’ve ever smelled—and one of the most underrated fragrances in my collection.

Green light guys! I like and wear everything from Drakkar Noir, Oud Wood, BDC, Naxos, Ani, Sauvage, I pretty much run the gambit including many Malul Frags. I have all 5 of Ash's scents, Horizon, Mahogany and what I was in one of my good Frag shops he gave me this Frag without saying anything. I love it! Great clean sweet Vanilla Frag. My wife is standing next to me and says, "I love that one we will take it". I am wearing it right now and she walks by and said dam you smell good. I told it her that woman can wear this as well and she said no thanks and that she liked it on me. It is a very clean Vanilla dominant, Fruity, I get the Almond, touch of Floral (very subtle) and yes truly Unisex. For me, this is a 9!

The first review on this is totally accurate! The name on this perfume is (in my opinion) pretty misleading. Before I smelled this perfume, I was expecting vanilla and cookies, cake, or something super gourmand. While I do smell the vanilla, the fruit notes are also easily most prominent to my nose, along with the musk and jasmine. This scent is absolutely amazing, and does have a resemblance to Good Girl and Good Girl Blush to me. But, the similarity doesn’t discount the fact that this is its own fragrance and you should smell it even if you have those other two fragrances!

I've had this fragrance for well over a year. I enjoy her. The name can be a bit misleading for some. To my nose she's a powdery, sweet, not sugary sweet, vanilla and almond fragrance. Very musky, soft spicy and a slightly sweet pear. There's a undertone of tartness, I'm assuming is definitely grapefruit and the Bulgarian Rose. The Jasmine Sambac is adding a touch of green floral. A light creaminess from caramel not a creme/whipped cream vibe. Once I got to know her, I started to appreciate her for what she gives me. She's delicious in not a gourmand way but a flormound.

Very confused on the name.. I get no vanilla or crème, but what I do get is a fun sassy little grapefruit/pear freshie. The opening is a bit tart, and almost reminded me of litchi. It’s a sharp first whiff, reminiscent of Lattafa’s Mayar. It sweetens on the dry down and you get the slightest milky almond note pop through. Could be more vanilla depending on chemistry I guess, but the fruit is more forward for sure. I never got the caramel, but the vetiver and white currant stayed full circle. This is a great layer with anything tropical. Longevity was about as expected.

We started carrying this in my work; If you like good girl, you’ll like this, like I always say with Michael. They smell similar, but they’re still their own thing.. with V&C his smells fresher fruitier and lighter than good girl. So I say if you like GG but find it heavy or too spicy then I’d say try this one out, there’s a lot of dupes to GG but his always HIT; again similar dna but still it’s OWN.

I really love this fragrance. It reminds me of opening of Cassili. My only complaint is just seems to disappear after about an hour or so. It lasts longer if l spray my clothes. But as much as I love it if l don't find a way to extend the life, it will be my last purchase.

How did doesn’t have more reviews and hype is beyond me. I JUST discovered Michael Malul and got two- vanilla creme being one of them... hands down one of my longest lasting scents out of 70 bottles. I’m sooo impressed I’m ordering samples of absolutely every scent now.

This is such a beautiful cool vanilla fruity fragrance, definitely a crowd pleaser. I got a travel size of this one as a gift and will definitely be buying the full size bottle.

I had never heard of this brand before and when a sale came up with this particular scent, I blind bought it because I liked the bottle and I didn’t think anything can go wrong with vanilla and crème. My first impression was “oh no” another fruity, sweet scent. The opening is so familiar with that pear dominating and so I was not thrilled because I have a lot of pear forward scents already in my collection. Thankfully, the scent settles into the middle notes which I like a lot better and the dry down is lovely. So for me to enjoy this scent fully, I spray it on my clothes 30 minutes before I leave the house and just spritz once on my skin. The sillage and longevity are moderate and if you want to stand out, you need to layer this with another scent. I layered it with Aura by Mugler and it was amazing and lasted for over 12 hours on my skin. So I am happier with the perfume knowing it will play well with other perfumes in my collection that needs sweetening up the top. Will I repurchase? No, I won’t because it’s not unique. But I will enjoy this one full bottle I have and probably pass it on to my daughter who will definitely use it all up with her friends at university.

This is not a vanilla perfume. It's a girly fruity-floral, definitely similar to Good Girl Blush, which sadly is my least favorite Good Girl. Don't get me wrong, this perfume isn't bad. It smells like clean hair, girly shampoo. It's pretty, but has absolutely zero personality. There is very little vanilla and zero caramel to be had anywhere, and the grapefruit/white currant opening is very sour. The drydown is a clean musky pear/rose combo that I don't hate. I only have the travel size and was debating returning it, but I think since I got it on sale it might be a keeper, it might really bloom in the spring/summer months as well.

When I first bought this perfume, I was disappointed. I didn't like it. It has been on my shelf for about 4 months and I decided to give it another chance. I set my base with Victoria's secret vanilla lotion and oil , and Nest's Madagascar vanilla. This combination saved the day. Throughout the day, I get wisps of the scent and I am glad that I kept it! This combination was an 8/10.

One of few vanilla scents that actually smells like vanilla on my skin. I've tried a lot of others that smell vanilla on paper but then on me turn straight to powder. Not this one. True vanilla.

Nice fruity-floral musk. The name is a misnomer. There’s very little vanilla, if any, to my nose. Could be mistaken for CH Good Girl or Good Girl Blush. Though pleasant, all 3 have a vague artificiality & homogeneity. I have other MM scents that I enjoy much more, such as Joie de Vie Blush, Ktoret 508 Nightfall & Siesta Key. This one is twinning in a sea of twins. Will see if maceration sheers its sheepyness...🐑⏳🤞🏼

Honestly I don't even knwo what to compare this to - because it was so lackluster. Not a bad smell - nice overall. A bit of a milky perfume vanilla - but then that's it - the opening and then it's just gone. I didn't even smell it on me after a hour. Lingers a bit but really underwhelming. Nothing stood out. Nothing was there. Neverland.

Vanilla & cream where? It smells like someone with sour breath is talking to you and they also just ate a grapefruit.

I’ll have to let mine sit and re-evaluate. At first spray it’s light and smells like skin, musk, and powder.

Beautiful bottle, but absolutely not your typically vanilla or creme. The top and middle notes or some combination thereof last - don't expect something sugary sweet, but more so warm fruity.

To me this is Good Girl and Bianco Latte mixed together. It opens up just like Good Girl and starts to dry down to Bianco. It’s quite pleasant.
