Sexual Sugar

This fragrance is a cutie pie. I'm not going to pretend the (hysterical) name wasn't a factor in my purchase. I bought the 3-piece set from Macy's and it comes in this ridiculously festive, pink sparkly box. If you like the scent, buy the box set and it will feel like Christmas (plus free gifts). At first spray, it definitely smells like a soft Pink Sugar. Maybe we can call it "Pink Sugar Eau Tendre?" XD The powdery floral notes are super soft and add a clean comfort to the fruity confection vibes. It partially reminds me of a blue soda or Icee without the sharpness/sourness "sparkling" scents get on my skin. As it continues to settle, it tickles the nose and I get faint similarity to Wicked by Victoria's Secret. The almond on Sexual Sugar makes me want some roasted nuts from Gertrude Hawk. Overall, I think this is worth a try if you can get a sample with purchase (like I did) or can find a vial/decant from a reputable seller. I think my heart ultimately lies with the creamy marshmallow of Pink Sugar, but this is definitely a lovely alternative. Edit: I will add I tried this on a hot and humid day. I'm excited to see how this fares in colder weather. This is more gourmand than anything, and lately I have been in love with the clean, white musky-woody drydown of Electric G (Harajuku Lovers) for the summer.

I blind-bought this online lol because it was nowhere to be found in stores. Wish me luck... UPDATE: This was a dumbass decision but I was fortunate. Here is the context: Pink sugar had her 21st birthday and chose to spend the evening at a nightclub. Looks may be deceiving, she smells sweet like captured childhood innocence but glance again and you meet eyes with a seductive yet confident woman standing over you. Okay, that description might have been a bit cringe but here is my piece. Yes, it does smell surprisingly similar to Pink Sugar when you first get a whiff but after it settles it begins to reminisce an even mixture of "Sugarful" and "Pink Sugar"- that cool sweet kinda smell yk. After maybe 30 minutes it dries down to a mature sweet candy scent with a hint of warm vanilla. No almond to be detected.

Oh sexual sugar. How I love you so. You're the only perfume I've come across that has mastered incorporating almond into your beautiful notes which smells beautiful and divine, a true almond burst of fresh sweetness. I've tried a few and they come other smelling bland or off balance, like a awkward nerdy kid who tried out for baseball practice. You are a sweet and playful. The other perfumes that are described as you, don't compare. You can handle on your own. I am so glad I got this, I wear it when I want to feel cute yet sexy. I really hate departing my gourmand scents into the adult perfume world but as well I want to be taken seriously, you fit the bill perfectly.

This scent is ok . It does smell very similar to pink sugar which I enjoy quite a bit . It’s less rich though, I get caramel notes and true sugar with pink sugar and this one is just a lite cotton candy , berry , reminds me slightly of victor n Rolf bon bon or blossom from Jimmy choo mixed with pink sugar or maybe even Versace crystal noir mixed with pink sugar . ( I just went back and smells it again hours later and that’s what came to mind ) . The longevity is horrible , it’s definitely a youthful lite body spray type of scent . Good for layering . While it’s a nice scent , I expected this to be the superior, more refined rich scent but it’s not .

Sexual Sugar appeals to me as a delicious fragrance full of happiness and joy! Sugar, passion flower, hint of wild strawberry, almond and vanilla make it a delighful combo for gourmand lovers. It is a must have for me, so far I only have 2 samples to enjoy but I am planning on purchasing a full size bottle. It is a great choice for summer fun! A perfect holiday fragrance with good silage and decent lasting power. Truthfully, it makes me want to unscrew the atomizer to drink the bottle content. Tasty, sweet, very feminine - that is for sure! Worth trying if you love Pink Sugar and Delicious Cotton Candy!

I find this to be a very grownup version of Pink Sugar. I like Pink Sugar but it can open with a strong alcohol smell. The sign of shall we say a cheaper perfume. No alcohol smell here. Yes it is sweet, yes it smells like sugar but there are berry and cream notes through out. I never smelled any floral. What a great fragrance for sweet lovers. It lasts about 6 hours on me, with arms length sillage for the first two hours and then it sits close. Oh and someone told me "You always smell so good and sweet, like I could take bite out of you." I always wear Sexual Sugar to this place, so yeah it is sexy.

This smells really nice. Kind of like a cross between Fantasy, pink sugar, and maybe some hard candy. It's a lighter sweet scent that is really good in summer where as I think Pink Sugar and Fantasy are good in colder weather. If you're a fan of sweet perfumes like pink sugar and fantasy defiently check this one out. I do like this scent I just don't see the need of buying it if you already own Fantasy because it's basically the same scent just lighter. Also for those thinking about purchasing this, I don't think the perfume last that long either.

It is better then anything I have yet to have on. The smell last for a very very long time. And it is in a nice price range. My hubby loves Vanilla and he also loved that it kind of smells like cotton candy on. I have been so discouraged by perfume as they mostly smell like something my gran would have worn that would turn dark brown when it got old and you would always have to throw it away, this smell so sweet and fresh. I will be taking it up as my signature perfume.

This is the sexy grown up version of that pink perfume we all loved in middle school. I love the nostalgia of it and it’s not sickening and overpowering like some of these other sugary perfumes can be. My boyfriend absolutely loves it too. I want a full size of this one so bad!

Fun fact: Infused with aphrodisiacs... Spicy caramelized sugar, vanilla, almond, drydown I get a hint of blossom and berry then creamy/powdery. Strong projection, similar to Aquolina pink sugar but the sexy older sister.

Yummy sugar with vanilla almonds. Very sweet and cute. Great for layering with other perfumes that you want to add a touch of sweetness to. Longevity could be a bit longer, but it's overall a lovely scent.

I just layered this with Tiffany and co. It's great! White trash w a touch of class!

Sexual sugar is the closest smelling perfume to cotton candy

I smelled this today - it is so yummy...

From what I can tell, Michel Germain has rebranded as "Jean Marc Paris" and has renamed most of their fragrances. You can get this for much cheaper than originally sold for at Gordman's, Marshall's, etc. under the name "Sugarpop" (which is a name I prefer, as "Sexual Sugar" is probably the worst name ever.) As for the scent itself, everyone below me is right in the Pink Sugar comparisons. This is Pink Sugar Lite. Poorer longevity, airier, more innocent (despite the original name). Sugar and berries and vanilla dance around on your wrists and then die about 5 hours in. A lovely little CandyLand performance of Swan Lake. Very pleasant if you like prediabetic scents. I know I do. Once again, as others are saying, if you like the concept of Pink Sugar but find it too heavy, this is a nice alternative that's even more affordable.

Very sugary, like pink cotton candy mixed with creme brulee and.... Play-Doh?! What the.....?! Opened up one of those paper testers for this perfume today and, yup, Play-Doh was the first scent to hit my nose. This is the second such paper tester I tried for this in the past month and I don't remember smelling Play-Doh the first time around. On paper testers, it seems a little too sugary, a little too early-teen trying to be sexy virginal for my tastes, but given the Play-Doh smell I caught in it today, the aphrodisiac in this may actually be directed towards pedophiles.... Would like to try sample of the actual eau de parfum as you never can tell for sure with the paper testers and after 10 minutes or so, I no longer smell the Play-Doh.

At first blast this scent smells exactly like Aquolina's Pink Sugar, then it morphs into the florals with a background of cotton candy sweetness. A YouTuber I follow - Among the Stars Celebrity Perfume Reviews, said it was his favourite of the Sexuals, and his reaction to it influenced my purchasing of this large 80 ml bottle. Do I own Pink Sugar? Yes. Am I disappointed at the similarity? A little. So I will agree with the opinion that SS is PS's more elegant sister. I do find it amusing how they share one note (Vanilla) and manage to smell SO similar. Maybe because the sugar note is in the opening along with the berries?

This smells way better than pink sugar. More tolerable sugary sweetness. Pink sugar to me smells too licorice and synthetic like barbie dolls...no matter how many times I've tried it. This one though has the tartness of the berries and creaminess of the vanilla which make it a little bit more complicated. It's nicer. Saying that...after owning and smelt so many of some natural perfumes such as Creed or Serge Lutens...this smells too fake to me :/ I still want to own it because I want to have a perfume that is like Pink Sugar but not Pink Sugar. The longevity of this great too! At least more than 5 hours.

jum jum jum , Cotton candy heaven . As mentioned by others . very much like pink sugar and delicios cotton candy . But this is a tad bit softer then Pink sugar. and you do not get that kind off burning stingy sharpness. i edmit . pink sugar can give you that feal .. But i love it still. This is a bit more floral then pink sugar . I can detect the strawberrys in this to . but it very artificial , candy like for shure ;) a very nice little candy treat this is .. on my skin not as long lasting as pink sugar wich last all day , This is more subtle and lingers more in the background

I bought this when I was really into gourmands and almost cloyingly sweet fragrances. This IS very similar to pink sugar, especially when you first smell it, but for me it’s softer, creamier, and less in-your-face. I get an initial burst of sugar and berries, but as the sugar warms up, the berries take a back seat and beautiful almond takes center stage. I think the floral notes keep it from being too immature by giving it a bit more depth. This is an everyday, non-offensive fragrance. If you want “sexual” you’ll have to bring that to the table yourself
