Sugarful Dream

I'm OD'ing on sugar right now and I'm in heaven! I saw that they were coming out with a new Sugarful flanker so I called around to my local Shoppers Drug Mart locations and none of them had it in yet. I couldn't wait. I went ahead and ordered it from the Michel Germain website directly. They shipped super quick, I got it overnight. This is just as good as the original, so sweet and addictive. But in this one, I definitely pick up the other notes more, especially jasmine and vanilla. The original leaned very fruity. You get the fruit in Dream but there is a nice balance. I am so happy with this newest one. We're in the middle of a heat wave right now and Dream is handling it like a dream. It's not cloying despite being super sweet. If you are a Gourmand lover, you really have to try this line. All three of them are fantastic. They are, seriously, so much better than Aquolina.

this is a super inoffensive, sweet, and pretty cheapie. sugarful dream is pretty generic but thats why i love it! i can overspray this one like a son of a gun and nobody would be bothered. even when i do, the sillage is great but the scent never approaches that strong vibe. just a lingering sweetness around you that others may notice subconsciously, or only in passing. i like to wear this one when i go out with friends for casual drinks or to dance because i know i smell good but no matter how close someone gets to me, they wont feel choked out by my strong perfume. its the sort of scent people would smell on you and assume its your soap or laundry detergent or shampoo or just how you smell. not a skin smell but definitely subtly pretty. like someone who sweats vanilla and powder. in three words, pretty, sweet, fun.

I didn’t realize there was a new sugarful until I received a sample from SDM the other day. I was pleasantly surprised seeing as I absolutely love the original sugarful and sweet fragrances in general. This is a lot more floral than the original which to me is pure strawberries and sugar. This is a sweet, warm, floral on my skin and clothes. I’m picking up on the lavender a lot. Normally I hate lavender in perfumes but this is more like a sweet, fabric softener/dryer sheet type of a lavender which I actually adore! This gives me clean, warm laundry vibes. I’ve only worn it indoors with the AC on blast, but I will try it out in this 40 degree heat and see how it fares. I think it’ll be much more suited for cold days though, personally.

I can now say I’m a collector of these because I have the gift sets of all three! I bought this one today and I love it! I find that yes, it’s a vanilla scent, it’s a fall/winter scent but the fruit and berry bites at the opening really make it much more versatile as far as seasonal wear and day time and night time wear. I love all three Of these, but I’m gonna call it that this is, sorry orange-but this is my favourite!!!! I hope they do this yearly!! MmmYUM

Sugarful Dream is my favorite of the three Sugarful fragrances. I find the original to be quiet flat and one dimensional. This is more complex. Sugarful Dream is sweet but not overly so. I do get the blueberry and marshmallow. There is lavander in it but on me it's more in the background and not masculine (as lavender can sometimes be). As it dries down and warms to the skin, white flowers, amber and a hint of musk come through. It's really nice.

This smells exactly like blueberry cotton candy to me, which I have no problem with. It’s an instant love. I’ve been searching for a realistic blue cotton candy scent for a while and this is it. I’m unsure which of the notes pull cotton “candyish”, but it’s good!

I love this scent and so do many guys, its not hard on the nose and its very enjoyable for a long period of time. I only have a small sample bottle right now but I want to purchase a larger one.

For gourmand lovers!!! Definitely smell the blueberries and cotton candy with a bit of marshmallow! Light and airy. Wish it lasted longer... A good 4 hrs.

Berry cotton candy. Very sweet, fruity and playful. This was worth the blind buy. Definitely for gourmand lovers.

TLDR: Really enjoyable, comforting, sweet, slightly spicy gourmand. For lazy, carefree days, for fun hangouts with your close friends and family, or for a casual workplace. Perfect in cooler weather. It is seasonally versatile enough to wear any time of the year because it does have a certain freshness, though! Also, I consider it more of a day time scent, fyi. Lightly spicy, warm, delightfully sweet and fruity little fragrance. It's really lovely to smell, would likely never offend anyone. Not for you if you're looking to stand out, or even for a classy work scent, let alone to give off a serious boss attitude. It isn't strong or refined enough for that, sits relatively close to you, and doesn't last for ages(moderate wear, 3-6 hours, though I say it's on the lower end of that at between 3 and 4 and a half hours of the scent being obviously there without searching for it. A refresher spritz or two and moisturized skin helps!). Great, however, for a more casual work place. The key is to keep it casual! It's very relaxed and fun, good for lounging around the house after a shower, or for a casual hang out with your SO or your best friends. It isn't sexy in the traditional sense whatsoever. If you're looking for unique, you won't find it in this, either—but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Here, you'll find a comfort food for your nose(which fits, because it definitely is a gourmand—mmm, blueberries, strawberries and vanilla!). There is also a light combination of jasmine, lavender, and musk that I notice. It's like your favorite perfume you used to wear in middle school/ high school, but a lot more mature and well made for a decent price. Basically, it is tame enough to be worn by your teen daughter or younger sister, but is also perfectly acceptable for a grown woman who is fun and carefree, maybe a hippie at heart.

This is a sugary sweet fruity perfume with a bit of lavender and vanilla. It starts off like blueberry candies. It’s sweet, youthful and light. Then maybe 30 minutes in I can smell the lavender and vanilla. Finally 3ish hours in I can smell a light caramel sweetness that stays close to the skin. It’s not a very long lasting scent. I wish the berry notes lasted longer and I wish it was heavier on the vanilla rather than the lavender but I think it’s a nice fragrance regardless. The lavender blends beautifully with the sweetness making it a very satisfying combination. Some lavender scents can come across as “herbal tea at grandma’s house” to my nose but this one in particular is almost like a lavender scented rock candy which I enjoy. Overall it’s a nice sweet sugary scent with a cute packaging that’s going to appeal to a lot of people. If you hate lavender I suggest skipping this one but if you love it, this might be your next favorite. I recommend getting it on sale because the lasting power isn’t worth the price tag in my opinion but if you can get a deal on it, I think it’s a lovely and unique sweet scent!

I haven't read the other reviews YET, b/c here's my genuine take on this. I LOVE the original. I LOVE Blueberry scented anything. DO NOT buy this thinking it's sweet, or anything like the original AT ALL. This is the leaf, or bush of a Blueberry at best. If they would have done a Blueberry take on the exact original, it would have been a HIT! It is not. This is bland, generic, & lasts 5 minutes. SO let down. DEF not worth $65! I really rate the OG a 10 & this a *0*. You want a good, sweet Blueberry, get Demeter's Blueberry. It's Wonderful & lasts 10 times longer than this. UGH! I just wasted money AGAIN!

Came across my rollerball today &I have it on. I bought the SET, 3.4 oz w/ rollerball blindly when it came out. At the time, there was nowhere for me to smell it & I ADORE the OG. I ended up keeping the Rollerball & selling the 100 ML, b/c it's just "Meh", but I wanted to keep the tiny around to see if I fell in love. I didn't. It isn't bad, it's ok to have to toss into a bag, something you aren't stressing over breaking. But falls short of the OG. It's cute, it's fun, it's an ok pick me up to have during the day, but I would NOT want to smell like this for long. Just a like for occasional use for me.

I really enjoy this perfume, It's VERY sweet, which was the initial appeal for me (It does make me feel like I belong in a fancy sweet shop). I find it quite relaxing with the lavender. I had trouble smelling any blueberry, I think it's more akin to 'blueberry muffin' than just blueberry :). I agree with others that the scent loses a lot of points when the environment is too warm. I also felt like I need to reapply this after around 5-6 hours, I could still smell it if I held my arm to my face directly, but got nothing otherwise. It does fade into a dreamy, calming vanilla scent at that point.

Tested a rollerball of this the other day, it initially smells like blue raspberry and laundry detergent, however when it dries down the blue raspberry disappears and you’re left with just that clean laundry smell. Reminds me a lot of Denim and Daisies from BBW actually. Moderate sillage and greater longevity than I was expecting, I could smell it pretty strongly on the paper test strip around 24 hours later. Not the blue raspberry/blueberry forward fragrance I was expecting, but still a pretty and affordable fragrance nonetheless!

This smells very similar to Sugarful sweet nothings to me (which I love). It smells like sugar, lavender, and berries. I like this a lot! I might try wearing them together. Sweet nothings smells slightly more clean (green apple and lemon), whereas Sugarful dream smells more berry-like. Both are sweet and smell straight up like sugar or rock candy. I never knew I wanted to smell like sugar, but I love it! This is a perfect winter scent - it reminds me of smelling cold, sugary, winter air and snow. Easy to wear.

This is what you'd smell like if you were to live in a carnival candy-stand. It's the scent of caramel fudge, the kind that crumbles when you bite into it, infused with pieces of candied blueberry. It does have that slight waxy/plastic quality to it like many super-sweet scents do (read: Cloud), but it's kinda balanced out by the fruitiness I think. Idk, I like it! Makes me feel like a piece of cotton candy on a stick.

On the drydown it’s fruity and lightly citrusy with a hint of lavender and jasmine, but after just a few minutes, all of that fades and brings vanilla and amber to the forefront. Nice and blind buy safe, but quite simple and juvenile. Has minimal sillage and lasts about 4 hours. Saw that this was compared to Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet but Daisy is MUCH more floral heavy.

This is really in-your-face sweet. First spray hits with a vanilla cotton candy lollipop smell and then dries down into a creamy berry blend. Kind of reminds me of Yogos, if anyone remembers those old yogurt candies. Sticks around and PROJECTS; beware overspraying this one and giving the people around you headaches and you'll be delicious.

I bought this for the blueberry note. It's ok. Nothing to hate but at the same time nothing to love. It didnt break the bank so I dont mind having it my collection especially for the cuteness of the bottle. I get 5 hours on clothes and 3 on skin. Id compare it to Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy in that same fruity, shampooy family.

I get a suggestion of 'fruit', but would not consider this a 'blueberry' fragrance. It also doesn't project, which is a shame (it's a skin scent from initial application). I don't mind this one, but I hands down like the original one more. I could see using this as something to throw on before I go to the gym.

A light lavender sugar candy. Dreamy and soft. What a delightful find at Ross for $14.99! The performance isn’t amazing but for this price, that’s just fine. Plus it’s insanely cute. It brings to mind a little sister scent for Ariana Grande REM. Not a dupe, but the vibes are there.

I found this at Ross today and I must say it’s an interesting scent. At first, I thought it was men’s cologne until it dried down to which I started picking up lavender. I like it, It’s sweet and soft; it reminds me of bedtime.

This one took me a few months to appreciate. I love anything with passionflower/passionfruit, so I think that's why this one came around for me. I find it best at bedtime as the lavender is soothing.

One of my favorite bed time scents. The lavender note is pleasing to my nose. The scent is comforting & helps me to relax. I was surprised that this flanker was my favorite of all of them.

This smells like dryer sheets mixed with blue raspberry cotton candy. Sickly in warm weather but pretty during the colder months. Longevity is decent.

I found myself interested in this perfume because the scent pyramid & design of the bottle made it seem very unique. I knew that even in the chance I didn’t like it, I’d still want to keep it as a decorative item. I got it for half the price, unused and wrapped up with the roller bar on eBay. I hen I initially smelt it I felt disappointed. I was expecting a prominent sugary smell with lavender underneath. However, all I could really smell was the Japanese cherry blossom body spray from B&BW (not the biggest fan of). After 10 minutes the dry down was definitely better and more mellow, and possibly sweet. Definitely not worth the original price point though, I will say. Although I’m disappointed, being on the hunt for a perfume, I’m still happy that the bottle is cute and kinda my style so I’ll keep it around on a shelf somewhere.

I was so excited to try this because I seen lavender and strawberry in the notes! I am a lavender gworl BUT honestly all that comes through is that powdery passion-flower mixed with blueberries. Upon first spray you get that nice and beautiful fruity concoction but within minutes it transforms into something EXTREMELY powdery, even when sprayed on JUST clothing. It’s giving English Laundry NO.7 powderiness with a tad bit more fruitiness. No thank you! Sugarful Sweet Nothings was what I expected Sugarful Dream to be like. This would be a nice bed time scent or something soft for a calm night out. Not my cup of tea however. Bought a travel size so I will use it up and be done with this scent.

Not what I wanted or expected. This Sugarful “Dream” is giving more sleep paralysis demon 👹 Weirdly masculine blueberry tea bag? Someone mentioned this smells like Midnight Fantasy; and while I agree, it smells like its also mixed with Circus Fantasy. Just very uninteresting and could easily be mistaken for any one of the countless Britney Fantasy flankers. I’ll take the OG Sugarful over this any day. 🤭

Like another reviewer said: blueberry cotton candy. Reminds me of a simplified version of Midnight Fantasy. It doesn’t smell bad and it’s sort of fun. Lasting power is not great. Ultimately it’s not the vibe I want to go for but if you like really sweet, gourmand scents, you’ll probably like this. The name and advertising are pretty spot-on—this delivers exactly what it promises.

Hum ... it's was a blind buy. I don't wear it ... the opening is very good, sweet, fruity but the dry down smell medical, deception :-( Quelle déception =, je ne l'aurais pas acheté si je l'avais senti en magasin. Il a beaucoup de potentiel mais l'espèce de son de senteur médical me déplait vraiment. Pas pour moi.

Meh. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a bit blasé with the Sugarful line ( I feel like they all smell like SUPER similar) or what but I’m not very excited about this one. It smells like very sugary sweet dryer sheets. If it’s a vibe you like ( sweet but still fresh frangrances), I would personnally suggest you go with Skylar’s Boardwalk Delight, since the smell is a bit more refined and original and the performance is also much better. As for this one, you have to respray after 3 hours, performance is weak, it’s an easy grab everyday kinda smell but I also feel like there’s much better fragrances than this. As for comparing it to BBW Cloud Nine, the DNA is similar but I feel like Cloud Nine is not as sugary, there’s a tartness that keeps it fresh, would could wear it to the gym without choking people around you as for the Sugarful Dream I feel like it would be too cloying for the gym.

The OG Sugarful is my absolute favourite scent right now, so I had high hopes for the others in the Sugarful collection. Unfortunately, none of them have that unmistakably girly, cavity-inducing sweet, can't-stop-smelling-myself quality of the original. Like others have said, this one leans masculine and smells a bit like dryer sheets; I don't get blueberry cotton candy at all. I still liked it better than the other flankers, but it's definitely not what I'm looking for from a Sugarful fragrance. It's a pass for me.

I do like Michel Germain perfumes. I like Sugarful, and Sugarful Spice I hated. It smelled to manly for me. After hearing Sugarful Dream had lavender in it, my favorite smell ever, I blind bought it. Now this blind buy isn't bad. What this perfume smells like is Guerlain La Petite Robe Intense. It has a cotton Candy note, blueberry and Musk. All of that is in Guerlain La Petite Robe Intense. I do not smell the lavender I was hoping to get. I absolutely love La Petite Robe Intense, and since this is so similar I don't need both. However, La Petite Robe Intense scent smells richer, higher end and just better quality then Sugarful Dream. When I'm in the mood for the cotton candy blueberry musk vibe I get from this, I'd much rather put on my Guerlain. If you don't have that perfume already, this can substitute.

I have all of the Sugarful Collection and this is the winter scent for me. While Sugarful is a Spring/Summer Scent, Sugarful and Spice is the Fall Scent. This is very cold-weather type of fragrance. It's sweet and light, it smells like a blue version of Pink Sugar by Aquolina, like you can actually smell the colour blue. I'm surprised I didn't see Cotton Candy as a note because it smells like Blueberry Cotton Candy. This is a 10/10 for me. EDIT: I gave this one away, there's something about this perfume that makes it only good at first, but turns boring and plain after a while.

I've been on the lookout for a blueberry scent for quite some time, so I bought a roll on of this to try. I really like the smell- berries, passionflower, and some lavender is what I get. The disappointing thing is that it has no staying power on me. After an hour or so I can't smell anything, even with my nose pressed against my wrist. It could be because I'm using a roller ball, but I don't want to spend 65 dollars to find out if that's it or not. I'll just use up the rest of the roller ball.

I love this. It's warm cozy sweet and a perfect bedtime scent. To me it's predominantly a soft powdery vanilla lavender. The lavender is really mellow not strong or sharp at all. Longevity is not great but it doesn't need to be because I like it for bed and by the time it wears off I'm already asleep. This layers well with other vanilla scents. I don't pick up any specific fruit notes but I think that they're just blended in the background to help give it that sweetness.

This isn’t worth 55 USD I picked it up from my local JCPenney beauty store and I thought it was going to project like the original sugarful but it doesn’t, I can barely smell it on my skin and too much lavender for my liking. I don’t pick up on any vanilla notes unfortunately because that is a big reason I bought it to begin with.

This is serving me blueberry and sweet but with shampoo in there. As a Canadian I want so much to love Michelle Germain but I haven’t loved any of his fragrances. A good alternative to this would be Aquolina berry blast.

This is my least fave Sugarful. I have it with a rollerball for $37 plus some shipping if anyone is interested. Only smelled the rollerball. Brand new in box. This one is just not for me.
