No 52 Sweet Strawberry Milk

Picked this up over a year ago at TJ Maxx and I now own two bottles as well as the hair and body oil. It is a very sweet strawberry lipstick when you first spray it which dries down to a candy-coated strawberry. If that doesn't give it away this is a very sweet fragrance so if you aren't looking to smell like a candy this one may not be for you. That being said, this perfume gets compliments and is universally likeable when smelt in public. On clothes this has lasted around 10 hours, on the skin it doesn't last a full 8 hours but at the price it's easy to get a second bottle to keep at work or in your bag to reapply. If you see this at TJ Maxx or any other discount retailer, definitely check it out!

I love it! It’s very sweet, fresh strawberry and kinda coconut-y? I would love to use it on daily, but I’ve, sadly, had gotten a shimmer mist, and GOD is this shimmer awful! There’s too much of it, it comes out really intensely in one spot and never comes off of anything! PLEASE do yourself a favor and don’t get the shimmer mist. And aside from it, it’s an amazing summer party scent!

leans more strawberry than milk. i’m a big fan of the lipstick note, it just adds a little extra something to it for me layers super well with my laconic perfumes & just the right level of sweet

I’ll start off by saying I’ve never tried the Melanie Martinez scent this dupe is based off. I paid $16 for a full size bottle of this perfume at Marshall’s. I was appalled to see the brand selling it for $79 on their official website! This scent is the equivalent to a bath and body works scent, in terms of scent profile and longevity. Right off the bat when I smelled this in store, my mind instantly went to bath and body works. I pick up powder, strawberries, amber, caramel, and that classic makeup note. I don’t really pick up any milk, which is unfortunate. You know how in our childhood stores would sometimes sell plastic and rubber toys/dolls scents? This reminds me of a strawberry scented one. Maybe a strawberry scented Barbie doll that comes with a matching mini strawberry scented lip gloss. Another fragrance that smells exactly like that is the pop jelly warm and cozy by VS/Pink, which I imagine would pair well with this scent. In terms of longevity, this scent doesn’t last long at all. Even on my first time wearing it, the scent completely disappeared an hour after application. And I have the actual eau de parfum. I can imagine the body mist is nothing short of worthless. I would have been furious if I paid full price for this. Overall, despite its short longevity, this scent is a very nostalgic and comforting one for me. It reminds me of my childhood and I love applying it before bed.

I’ve never tried the original Cry Baby perfume, so I can’t say whether it’s similar but this is nice! It’s a super sweet, tart, and lightly powdery strawberry scent. I don’t get any milk, amber, or caramel. I personally wish I got some creaminess, but it’s still great for spring and summer. It lasts 5 hours on me and though it has minimal sillage, it has a beautiful scent bubble. Other Cry Baby dupes I’ve tried are OilPerfumery’s impression, Oakcha’s Praise the Perfume, ALT Fragrances Strawberry Milkshake, and Alexandria Fragrances Baby Don’t Cry and I do have to say that Sweet Strawberry Milk is my favourite with OilPerfumery’s impression coming in at #2. OilPerfumery’s has a light woodiness that I think many people would probably enjoy but it’s a tad nauseating for me. Praise the Perfume is even woodier to the point that it overpowers the sweetness and both Strawberry Milkshake and Baby Don’t Cry have very tart citrus that I don’t love, especially in Strawberry Milkshake where the citrus smells kind of musty. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌ Burberry Her + Elixir: has very distinct florals and isn’t as powdery ❌ Phlur Strawberry Letter: much less sweet and quite earthy

This scent feels super clean to me, almost like diet strawberry milk. That being said, I really like it. The powdery note adds a fresh, airy quality while still staying soft, milky, and sweet, and it balances the sweetness really well without being overwhelming. Even though most people consider this a summer scent, I honestly think it’s perfect for winter. It feels like gentle sunshine on a snowy day, like catching a soft whiff of strawberry shampoo or perfume as someone walks past you in the cold. It’s fresh but powdery, sweet but milky, and overall a really lovely strawberry scent, even if it’s not an exact Crybaby dupe lol.

I got this yesterday and it kind of reminds me of an Escada release but a little more blended. Less centred on the fizz but there is a fizz there. It’s kind of hard to describe but the red and pink fruits used have a guava vibe. I’ll update this when I wear it out and collate more information!

it smells like walking past the shower area where people are washing their hair with fruity shampoo/conditioner after a day in the water I've had 2 people say the exact same thing when I wore this last

way less sweeter than I expected, it’s light and strawberry and powdery. Picked it up at tkmaxx and whilst I usually love very sweet gourmands, I actually quite like this!

This is mostly a milk fragrance to me, there's almost like a savory sweet quality to it? I have to spray a lot of it to get the top notes, but I really like it!

A clean strawberry powdery scent. Nice after a shower and I like to spray it on my sheets before bed.

Okay so I wanted this sooo bad & finally caved and blind bought it! I’m a little disappointed to say it’s definitely not one of my favorites, it's okay in my opinion. It goes on really synthetic and it takes a bit to let it sink in to the dry drown. It’s definitely way more warm than I expected, very much a strong berry scented smell. I was hoping for a more milk-based scent, but after it settles it’s definitely almost rosier (?) and has a deeper profile. I guess I was expecting a more light-weight scent considering the base notes, but it goes on heavy and sweet. Cant compare to original crybaby bc I’ve never smelt it. Will defo pair this with a more airy/clean scent when I go out, I am not that big of a fan of it on it's own. I might even sell it if it doesn't get good use. Update: I've had it for about a month and have not worn it out once. I just cannot bring myself to like it, I will probably sell it soon :(

I like the scent of the oil better than the hair and body mist which has a sour undertone. And it disappears about as fast as it evaporates on the skin. I don't have the eau de parfum version, and am not impressed enough to be seeking it. I wanted to find out what the OG smelled like,but I dont know how accurate this is. Definitely not a repurchase.

I was looking for a strawberry milk scent and this perfume sadly did not scratch that itch. It's too tart and candy-like, on skin and clothes. It's by no means unwearable but I wouldn't buy it again.

Smells like there's a lavender note in here and it's really strange.

i got the perfume oil and the solid perfume so i can’t speak for the perfume, i also have never smelled crybaby so i can’t attest to if it’s a good dupe but shit i hope not because girl wtf. the roller and the solid perfume smell completely different and the solid perfume actually leaves me confuzzled it’s not complex but it smells like lipstick i’ll give them that but also like sugar i wanna say maybe leaning cotton candy but not in a traditional sense it also lasts two seconds at best and it may not be that sweet but it still leaves me feeling ill and as for the roller it starts out like a very sour strawberry and then dries down to artificial overload like seriously i don’t even mind artificial strawberry but it’s not even that it smells like they purposely made this as chemical as possible however if you pretend it’s not there it does smell like a nice strawberry, the roller is probably the lesser of the two evils

I personally really love this perfume. It might not be an exact dupe, but it captures the OG Crybaby vibe so well. It smells soft and powdery, like Nesquik strawberry milk with a creamy, comforting finish. It gives off total pastel, baby pink energy—sweet, delicate, and a little nostalgic. It may not be a perfect match, but for just 15 bucks at TJ Maxx, I’m more than happy with it.

I've had mine for a couple years now so maybe its bc its older but this smells like powdered strawberries and wood. I'm surprised it doesn't have woody notes. It doesn't smell like milk or lipstick at all. It's very much forest berries minus the green scent. I really like it but I think if it had a smokey or dirty element then this could be really elevated.

the body oil of this smells SOOOO sexy, such a unique strawberry scent !! it’s pretty strong in comparison to most body oils i’ve smelt, HOWEVER the body mist smells like literally nothing and im not even exaggerating ?????? hope to own the actual perfume one day but im terrified to be let down, since their products seem to be hit or miss.

Reviewing the oil: I don’t pick up any milky, amber or caramel notes. Mostly just get a sweet strawberry lipstick. I’ve never tried the original Crybaby so I can’t speak on how it compares. The oil is okay for layering with fruity fragrances but I don’t think I would repurchase.

I really love this perfume! But it’s not like how people describe it to be. Before smelling it I expected a very gourmand scent but instead it smells very soapy and like fresh strawberries! I can also really smell the lipstick note! It smells way better than I expected :)

This smells very chemical at first but after a while its so delicious! Reminds me of blended strawberries with heavy cream and sugar, yummy!
