Mila Schön Uomo (Original)

very interesting and forgotten gem from the 80's. mila schon is a nice blend of mandarin, anise, ginger, vetiver, musk and, of course, oakmoss. what u get is something very citrusy and herbal. it is in the same line of ysl pour homme or eau sauvage but definitely more watery,flowery and soapy, inbetween of a sporty and classy cologne. it reminds me someone over 30 in the 80's, a guy who plays squash or golf and dress with style. in my opinion this juice has good quality and it's very well made, it has the style and class of the 80's. good performance on my skin, both in longevity and sillage. for a guy over 40, casual outdoor situations. i found it in a old soap and detergent shop for only 12euros(125ml splash bottle) but be careful for a blind buy because it's not something easy to wear, it is a bit dated and in dont think it's a compliment magnet now. i recommend mila schon uomo more to a collector of vintage fragrances, someone who can appreciate the style and history of stuffs from another era. very 80's, very stylish. trovato in un vecchio negozio per detersivi per pochi euro, mila schon uomo è un profumo datato ma con la classe tipica degli anni da cui proviene. elegante e sportivo allo stesso tempo, non è facile da indossare ora ma se siete amanti di articoli vintage non rimarrete delusi. scent-7,5 long-8 sillage-8 versatility-6 bottle-6 uniqueness-8 compliment factor-6 rebuy?no my vote-7,5 in one word- squash the review is based on a vintage bottle. alternative- ysl pour homme

I've got a mini bottle. It's a like for me, not a love. If it wasn't overpriced, IMO, I probably would buy a full-sized bottle. Mila Schön Uomo reminds me of Bel Ami, which I like better. Neither have great performance on my skin. Recommend trying before buying. You may very well have others that are similar that you like better.

Mila Schön Uomo is one of the more atmospheric of 80s floral-chypre-fougere hybrids, where the composition seems to have breathing room in between its notes, and just a tasteful hint of ozonic elements that would very soon reach mach 5 with Cool Water just a couple years later. I detect just the right dosage of dihydro-myrcenol lifting the top notes. This is a semi-aquatic prelude, with sharp, bracing citrus, lavender and herbs melding in the heart with a pronounced florals of the both the green and white variety, on a bed of piquant black pepper shaded with anisic tarragon. Aqueous cedar woods soon join, with suggestions of violet, getting muskier and somehow more herbal in the dry down. I took a gamble blind-buying this, but it is more captivating than I imagined; a unique composition for its genre and a real pleasure to wear. It suits this pensive, rainy weather quite nicely.

Mila Schon generally is unrated I feel. I remember searching for her original woman ́s fragrance for ages and didnt remember the name until I saw it. Her Uomo is lovely in my opinion. Fresh and watery, with a touch of spice, and a touch of wood. The herbal mix is central -almost smells a little bit like the original Herbal Essences shampoo, more spicy and more woody but that fresh. It is not strong nor too sweet and would make a nice all arounder cologne for a man of any age and type. Women could wear this as a cologne. The scent remains fairly lateral drying down to a somewhat sweeter ambery musk. Sound quality and well made.

It smells something like coming home from the beach, it has that vibe. It's not suncreamy like or anything, just that smell of sand and salted water, and a little balmy. It is an ok fragrance, with veery good performance. For me it does not smell dated, though i can see others perceive this as a dated smell. It's in the same ballpark as Leonard PH, 80s Bogarts, Krizia uomo, etc, but the fragrance that this one resemblance most is Tactics edt by SHISEIDO, just with a salty water twist.
