Ive been hearing about this one for a bit, im a major tobacco scent fan so I had to try it The initial spray you catch the piney allspice. I smell mostly pine and clove. There is sage in there. Sage always has a bite to it. I do not smell bergamot at all. The dry down. Its old spice, barbershop but cooler and smoother. The sharpness of the sage and clove rounds off. Im still not smelling a prominent tobacco note. I dont smell the pimento listed radiating but if i take a deep whiff inches from my wrist, its there. Its very upclose. The patchouli is there just give a wonderful green muskiness. I smell no tonka. This smells like Old Spice and Bay Rum. But has a very clear difference; its old spice and Bayish but has a cooler, rounded smooth feel. Almost like a soft menthol. Its barbershop but much more smooth and elegant. The tobacco is definitely there as it dries but not your typical cigar or dry leaves. Its not subtle but more accompanying. More green which gives its own spice green vibe, especially when you smell it up close. In the dry down reminds me of Ralph Lauren Polo Green, but less spice and more cooled roundness. This is definitely a masculine scent. While its not unique, it definitely brings you back to the 70s-80s masculine scents. But rather than strong in your face, they take that but somehow turns the volume down, just really smooth and rounded. The drydown really is perfection. Its probably one of the best masculine scents for cold, winter, snow. I like crisp sharp spicy notes over warm notes in winter and the cold spiciness, just adds to the winter allure. (Winter and fall i love and sprig and summer are my least favorite time of the year, so Im a bit biased in favour for cold weather scents). Its dry down is much more intimate. Definitely a smell that is alluring and if you are close to someone in physical proximity, it really draws thenm in. It wafts in the air gently, rather than the gust of scent in your face like some of the 80s heavy hitters. This is one of the most non-unisex, heavy leaning male scents ive smelled, but it's not beast mode in your face. The peppery spice and soft cool smoothness just exudes gentleman, not rugged cowboy. I think camelhair topcoat, 3 piece suit, trimmed beard that can roll up the cuffs if needed manliness. I give it a 9/10. Its nothing unusual or unique. It takes traditional masculine ingredients and dressed it up. It does what it does so well. For those who love masculine spicy scents, this is an absolute safe blind buy. Once my decant is gone, full bottle will be added to my collection.

Feuilles de Tabac by Miller Harris - sage, cloves, allspice, and coumarin, create (possibly with real tobacco?) the effect of live humid tobacco leaves, spice, and dark creaminess. I feel a reference to fougéres. But first, FdT feels like a spicy blast on the top, giving it an upscale Bay Rum effect. I get clove and pepper spices, but in stead of bay, it is the brief cool menthol-tobacco sensation thanks to sage that creates it. Then it settles down to an obvious fougére-like heart (one of the best ones at that - even though I'm not sure I'd classify this as a fougére all the way), in that it's dark creamy and aromatic, before closing on a sweet aromatic, borderline gourmand coumarin base. This evolution is never boring and sometimes even feels inconsistent from one time to another. Anyway, the heart is my favourite part of this top 5 frag, surely containing tobacco(rd) in it. Longevity is 7-9h and sillage is perfectly proportioned giving wafts of the scent's development throughout the duration. The color association is a dark, almost blackish brown. Time: early evening to early night or when it's generally darker outside, and the season definitely late fall, early winter... I've worn this in the summer as well and it seems to work well giving a sharper cooler masculine chypre facet, but still I rarely get the urge for this when it's not cold out. Never having smoked a single cigarette in my life, I can still enjoy the pleasures of good tobacco...

This is for a man who understands style: The Persona: Someone with a clean haircut, a fresh shave, and perfectly polished shoes. The Style: A person who wears several layers of clothes to create a curated, sophisticated look. It is the perfect fragrance for the Fall season. Feuilles de Tabac is a clean fresh, green, and spiced tobacco-pimento scent. It smells a bit avant-garde (aka niche) and a bit medicinal. But, I like that!! The medicinal nuance gives it a niche quality because it is different than anything you may have smelled--fresh, green tobacco leaves (LITERALLY Feuilles de Tabac) with pimento to add a subtle spice note to the fragrance. Both scents come together to form a medicinal, fresh, green, and subtly spicy scent that smells great!!! Two thumbs up!! It is definitely unisex. I could see a man or woman wearing it. Feuilles de Tabac is a daytime winter/fall/spring scent, but don't take my word for it. For any fragrance, read reviews before buying it, but take them with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion regarding smells. Some people love a specific fragrance. Some people hate it. My advice is for you to get a sample of ANY fragrance before you ever buy it. That way, you can assess it yourself and have your own thoughts rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. So, do not let my opinion influence you.

Ooh, now this I like. Not one for the shy, retiring type of chap who blushes should anyone meet his eye - this a fragrance to get you noticed, for sure. It's incredibly rich and autumnal in nature - a really lovely handling of the clove and pine needle, which could have been far too heady and overpowering had they not been reigned well in with the herbaceous borders that surround this, and the dry, spicy, peppery notes that infuse all levels of this fragrance. The sage is quite unusual, and not perhaps one that I'd have imagined I'd like (I sprayed this on myself, and would wear this with a big thick sweater on a cold day, walking through the woods & kicking through the leaves - though I think, on balance, I'd prefer to snuggle up & sniff this on the neck of my beloved). Slightly badly tempered in the early stages, this rounds off to become a nutty, spicy drydown that's an all-day wrist sniffer for me - a Mr. Darcy of a perfume - all darkly brooding & sexily tousled, but with a warm heart underneath all that bluster.

Feuilles de tabac is an odd one. If you're expecting an abundance of tobacco then think again, this is a well rounded perfume which is as much about tonka beans and patchouli in the base as it is about tobacco. The opening is a strange herbal creamy affair which has a distinctive peppery spice in there which isn't sharp but adds interest to what is a turbulent start. As with La Fumee, I was sure whether I liked it even after it settled but longer into the drydown is where it gets sweeter and revealed itself as something I'd quite happily wear. Nothing ground breaking here but I have to say it's unique and that's a big plus for this one, If you like Feuilles de tabac at all, you'll probably love it. If you're looking for a tobacco scent then it's worth checking out but might be a little tame on the tobacco element for some. I got a good few hours out of it so I'd say Longevity is pretty good and it does evolve so best to give it a chance to convince you.

First impressions. Allspice! Since I associate allspice with bay leaf, it instantly reminds me of fragrances with bay leaf in it, like Booze and Baccy Ricki Hall and Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan. It is spicy, medicinal, herbal, has a bracing effect, but there's also a bit of sweetness and warmth to it. For me, that puts it into the 'barbershop' category. It is pleasantly natural smelling and has quite a bit of depth -- but you will smell like allspice, make no mistake about it. And according to Miller Harris's website, it does not have any pimento pepper in it, although a lot of people seem to smell it. Pimento is allspice. Performance seems to be similar to Dior Eau Sauvage, Chanel Pour Monsieur and the like, meaning more on the discreet side. Persists on clothes quite a while and suprises you from time to time, but doesn't really draw attention to itself after the first few hours. So, overall very nice balance, but I wish it was stronger for this price.

What a wonderful fragrance this is. From first spray you know you're in the presence of something warm, safe, and very classy. This is the antithesis of a cheap cologne. At the top you have a sagey pine, only briefly though. This turns very quickly into the main body which is the allspice; and it's the warming cloves of this that makes Feuilles de Tabac what it is. The cloves here aren't harsh as they've been softened by the tonka bean. The longevity is very good and this marvellous softened clove aroma stays for about 8 hours. During this time a very light dry patchouli tobacco aroma becomes more noticeable. Sillage is about 5 feet with just a couple of sprays to the neck. So soon in my fragrance journey I'm loathed to class a scent as 10/10. The only scent that I've experienced so far that's almost reached that pinnacle was Al Haramain's Excellent. This is a more refined aroma than Excellent and just about edges it for me.

DRRRROOOOOOL! BLIND BUY HEAVEN! Like so many reviews hereI blind bought and it turned out to be spot on! I wanted a simple unadulterated dry tobacco scent. I GOT IT ;) Somewhat green crisp blast dries down to a simple hay, dry tobacco bit of spice scent with a smidgen of patchouli to add a base. VERY NATURAL, unlike horrid synthetic Mancera Red Tobacco and popular name brand scents. It sits next to my Parfum De Marly Herod (a contrast as it is a rich smooth gourmand mix with Vanilla & Cinnamon - the best Tobacco scent IMO) as my go to Tobacco scents. Not 'beast' projection but decently strong, infact I'm inspired to write this as I just registered I'm getting an arms length waft 12 HOURS later today. Miller Harris has my respect and soon some more of my money! Another sleeper brand I hope...

Resmi kıyafetlere ve 40 lı yaşlara çok uygun. Markanın önerdiği gibi vetiver ile kullandım. Çok hoşuma gitmedi. Daha sonra Zegna Haitian Vetiver ile denedim harika oldu. Daha sonra birkaç kez amber yoğun parfüm ile denedim bu sefer daha da güzelleşti. Klasik havasında, ciddi tarzı olan bir parfüm bu.

Feuilles De Tabac was a blind buy for me, based on the notes and some of the reviews and I am very glad that I purchased this beauty! FDT opens with a steely, metallic and sharp tobacco that can be a bit off putting. But the dry down turns this scent into a slight sweet, soapy, woody tobacco that is just pure deliciousness to my nose. sensual is a good description for this fragrance. You know it is there, softly calling to you, whispering your name, waiting for you, but not in your face. I get good projection and longevity on my skin. Although listed as unisex, I find FDT to be more masculine to my nose. I see this as more of a casual scent, although I can wear FDT in a sports coat. Bottom line: If you high quality tobacco inspired scents, you should give this one a try.

Hard to describe, it is sensual, soft, sexy, but not loud. This is beautiful skin (stylish!) scent and last entire day for me. Wore it during work and until dinner time. This is soft sexiness scent for someone who is naturally stylish - with confidence within. Not girly and commercial scent where one smells pretty much the same as everybody else. I love wearing white suede private collection. I think this is similar family. This would be one level up. Not sure about the tobacco, don't focus on this, just enjoy it from overall blend...and see how it stays with you. First spray could be mix feelings but when it melts down it becomes very soft and creamy yet with a little edge...on you. This scent is sexy, this is for woman.

I don’t really mean it disparagingly at all, but it comes across in that 80s men’s vintage fragrance way. I would say Halston Z-14 adjacent, but maybe an improved version. Perhaps similar to many from the era, but it is nice enough that if it’s your vibe, it would be a great signature scent- although performance seems lacking after the initial blast, and barely a skin scent after 2-3 hours. Similar vibe as: Halston Z-14 and Catalyst, Tom Ford Noir Anthracite, Bottega Veneta Homme Edit: Has quickly become a favorite on scent alone, despite the lack of performance. Also, the fact that allspice is voted so low shows most people have no idea what it smells like, as it is incredibly prominent here.

This is what Gandalf the Grey (note: not in his White incarnation!) would wear. It is a mix of the indulgent and the alert, a visit to the Shire spiced up with a little wizardly cynicism, relaxed, sharp, not unfriendly, with power in the background rather than shoved down your face. The pepper is down-to-earth. I grow tobacco in my garden and cure it in my house; not a lot of tobacco notes in perfume actually conjure up the plant to me. This does. It captures the atmosphere of a real, home-harvested parcel of leaves.

I bought a 2 ml tester last summer. Wasn't head over heels at first, but this is one that I unexpectedly find myself returning to. It's comforting, grounding, and feels safe but is also - at least on a woman - exciting and unexpected. Excellent for brisk days and introspective evenings. update September 2020: bought a full bottle, have been staring at it in adoration the past couple of hours! Am so looking forward to wearing this a lot this autumn and winter.

A very dry and earthy scent. The pine and patch shine as well as the tobacco. It creates a melancholy scent that I like. Very unlike typical modern tobacco releases this has very little sweetness. That gives it the edge to make if different in a good way. After sampling it a few times I decided to get a bottle. It's not a compliment getter but I don't mind that at all. This is a nice take on tobacco centered scents.

If you ever tried aramis Havana and felt it lacking something this one gets it complete A tremendous spicy fougere with green leaf tobacco The way it lingers on my clothes is so satisfying it keeps me wanting for more Longevity Was moderate and so is the projection A masculine scent through and through And at the ending of the fragrance life it gets extra spicy to the extent I can smell the clove very vividly

My partner got a sample of this and both of us fell in love with it the second he sprayed it on. The opening is just straight up fresh pine needles, like a walk in the forest. After an hour or so, other notes start to appear: gorgeous, dry tobacco and sage with a spicy kick. It's a masterful blend that smells really natural to me. Yes, it's masculine, but I might have to try this on myself as well.

Beautiful, soft and spicy very round, no edges. I like that I can smell a spiced raisin note similar to ambre narguile, but it has a slightly soapy background that keeps it from leaning toward the gourmand side. As for the tobacco, it lays gently woven in between the other notes- never taking over. I do find this to be very masculine but can see a woman wearing it if she's brave enough.

Best blind buy ever! It fits comfortably between my AdP Ginepro de Sardegna and Guerlain Vetiver. Uplifting, manly, steady and very self-assured fragrance. The interplay and accord formed between the sage and tobacco is astounding, freshened by the bergamot brightness. Wish I were sitting on Hemingway's Key West home porch imbibing Papa Dobles watching the sun set into the distance.

A very good smell. But starts off quite medicinal to me. Later on the smell is amazing. A hint of green/herbal is also present. Moderate projection but long lasting. This kind of smell is so classic. A cross between Aramis and Tom ford Italian cypress but into a different ending. Suitable for daily wear especially men. I like it, but if the projection is huge i would give it 9/10.

Out of 300 or so in my collection this is one of very few I constantly restock. Arguing against the note table - for me its a sweet green dry slightly dusty fougere on damp tobacco (think green bell peppers with sugar), turns a teeny soapy on the dry down. Gorgeous, only complaint is longevity - maybe 3-5 hours of a balloon.

High quality & utter fulfillment throughout! The green, spicy, tobacco swirl that surrounds you with an everpresent, yet never pushy longevity is a true bliss for connoiseurs. Its fresh yet dark, has an autumn like mood but still managing to be very versatile. Signature material for the well dressed man above 35.

Glad I didn't blind buy this. It's beautiful, but damn is it masculine. Why can't I find this scent profile that leans fem? It reminds me of Havana by Aramis, which I love and already own. If I come across a bottle cheap enough I will get it. I love love this scent profile. 8.5/10

I would like mention that if you like the current version, you will likely be disappointed be earlier bottles, as I found one and found it to be lighter and more reminiscent of a slightly more masculine “La Fumee”, instead of the super piquant and musky modern iteration.

Very charismatic! I remember the brown autumn with this perfume. Dried leaves and woods, pine forest, mountain house in the fog and a glass of vine in front of the fireplace... It is very romantic and amazing both man and woman. Try it!

Warm rich dense moist rolling tobacco. With Christmas spices. It’s beautiful. Yes it’s sweet, the tonka bean is prominent. It’s so lovely and deep. Yes maybe a bit more masculine but I want to wear this as a woman

just bought this for my husbands 40th birthday. To me it's a real mans scent, natural spicy and expansive. It smells of autumn leaves and is quite irresistible!

I love this perfume on my husband

First: the pyramid is unaccurate, since there is no pimento or bergamot notes in here. What there is instead are "pimento berries" (aka allspice, accurately listed), as well as cascarilla bark oil (not listed). To my nose, I get sage and pine in the very early opening, but that's not worth loosing sleep for that, since it lasts only for 2 min. As soon as the alcohol evaporates, these notes disappear and I only get a strong blast of cloves, supported by cinnamon. And that makes sense: indeed, after a quick online research, it appears that allspice smells indeed of a mix of clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. The cloves note (aka eugenol) is where the "metallic" and "green" notes that some may spot comes from. (sometimes described as green onions). It's only in the drydown, once the "clove" note (aka allspice) slightly decreases in intensity that I get a vague idea of honeyed tobacco, but still, it's a very linear fragrance, and I can hardly think of something else than cloves. In the very late drydown (4-5hours in), a now beautiful nutty, dry tobacco note indeed unveils. Honestly I think that here Lyn Harris slightly missed the shot, and should have had the late drydown tobacco note show up earlier in. Projection is soft to moderate, but it may be better like that given the nature of this fragrance. A little air in the bottle may help tone down the clove, we'll see in the future. I can see that many here have had the same experience, so it's not only me. That gives an idea of a fragrance name and its note may have influenced some reviewers here. I bought this blind and was expecting a "green tobacco leaf" centered frag, in the same vein as Monsillage Aviation Club and OJ Montabaco. What I got is a SPICY CLOVE-CENTERED FRAGRANCE, in between SL Serge Noire and Amouage Bracken. I love both the latter frag, thus it's ok for me, but find the name misleading: it should be called "Epices". For that reason, it will only get a like from me. Even at current discounters pricing, try before you buy this one! Colder days, men 30+

Great woody fresh green fir scent. Topnotes are composed of a clove and incense with hints of pepper and pine opening that starts off with rather singular notes and later ends up in a very harmonious composition of both dry and sweet tobacco and woods. Definitely more masculine than feminine. FdT projects very well in the opening, but later in the drydown it calms to below an arms length. Mostly suited for colder weather and probably very interesting if you're a fan of the original D&G Pour Homme. This may sound odd, but it reminds me quite a bit of Versace's Dreamer in an up-to-date version without the slight sourness that also follows in Dreamer. FdT may not be overly daring, but it smells darn nice!

I tested this yeasterday, and I like the smell it has left on my clothes the next day! Its VERY masculine, reminds me of Fahrenheit, and the starting notes are very strong, don't think I would dare to apply it behing my ears as I usually do. My wrist was close enought to my nose! Maybe be put it in a little bottle and applying it with the tip of a finger would do the trick. The spray was too much. But as I say, at the moment of applying the pepper and pine tree are too strong, the dry down is better and the smell in the clothes now is lovely, I can really smell the patchouli which I love.

Very nice scent. Tobacco in this one is more like fog that blurs your vision than smoke that stings your eyes (think most Tauer or Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille). Pine and patcouli are strong to create almost an ambery smell while other notes support these main notes and are hard to pick out. It has a smooth dry down and overall lasts about 7 hours. Feuilles de Tabac is a like a serious friend. Sometimes you find the person a little bit dull because he is always under control, but you like him regardless because he is more reliable than anyone else, and (most importantly) has a kind heart.

For me, this is a delight to smell, and I am working up the courage to wear it to work. This strong, woody, spicy but sweet scent actually reminds me of Roger & Gallet's Oeillet (carnation) soaps (the fancy ones that come tissue-wrapped three to a box), which I adored as a child. In all, this scent reminds me of the richness of antique furniture, of a sophisticated older lady who loves classical music and jazz. Moment of inspiration: it is phenomenal worn together with Miller Harris La Fumee (equal parts).

First impressions: My favorite Miller Harris scent, so far. I'm finding I prefer their more masculine scents. If I smelled someone wearing this I would probably think they're attractive. As with the rest of Harris' collection, I'm left a little wanting though. This scent needs a little sweat. Once you're inside and get too warm wearing the heavy sweater you put on in the morning chill. The allspice has this leaning almost too holiday. almost.

An ashy variety of tobacco. Smells a bit burnt in a good way. A bit of sweetness like nutmeg and pumpkin creeps through for me... Smells like pumpkin pie served in a coniferous ash tray — and I actually really enjoy it. Very easy to recommend this for a masculine fall staple. You won’t smell like the everyman. Favorite I’ve tried from the house. 8.2/10

This one rewards restraint, the dry down is lovely but the opening can clear a room if you're trigger happy with it. 1 or 2 sprays under clothes works best for me. The deep dry down has that earthy 'dirty clean' vibe that MH does really well (le pamplemousse etc) and is worth the wait :)

A truly classic 80-s type aftershave vibe in a much higher quality. Absolutelly masculine. I can’t imagine it on a woman at all. With time the pine notes softens a bit and tobaco comes front. Nice but too old skool for my taste. Kind of a fresh shaved old man scent.

I love this perfume because of the pimento note and pine needles note. It's a wonderful perfume with slightly spicy notes. It's sweet, intense, gorgeous, straight forward, sexy. It's also mild and not extremely masculine.

Weird opening, all pine and cloves, settles into a gorgeous spicy cold weather scent for 3-4 hours then sort of vanishes. Lovely while it lasts though

Great scent but the Longevity is very bad... 2 hours

I owned this fragrance at some point but ultimately sold it due to my inability to appreciate it. While I do have a fondness for allspice, which combines the aromas of cinnamon, pepper, and cloves, etc... this particular scent has an off-putting powdery and chalky quality that I find totally unappealing. Parfumo lists one of the notes as "cascarilla," which is the Spanish term for eggshell shavings, a chalky like powdery substance, and yes! This aligns with my assessment. My grandmother owned a candle and incense boutique that sold this stuff, which I was never fond of, and this has that same exact smell and texture. The powdery elements present in this fragrance supersede the overall tobacco composition, which has always been a point of contention for me.

This is really a male fragrance rather than unisex in my opinion. I find the contrast of the pine needle freshness, the Nordic woods an odd contrast to the earthiness and spice of tobacco and spices, which is what I was expecting from a fragrance named Feuilles de Tabac. The pine is very prominent and does not go away. If you have no expecations (and are male!) you may well like this fragrance. As for me, its a no. Its a quality fragrance with lovely blending regardless, even if its not to my personal taste.

一閃而逝的佛手柑開場, 衝出來的是很強烈的辛香味與菸草, 的確稍微會有點年代感, 隨著菸草慢慢淡去,辛香料依然霸場 然後背景裡的草本味 與其說是廣藿香, 我倒覺得隱約有香根草的沉穩味道竄出 直到最後都是辛香+廣藿香根 持香不錯,擴香尚可 整體給我的感覺就是帶點年紀的雅痞紳士

Peppery, minty opening, ashy with a powdery-floral dry down. It's a bit strong, but still smooth.

A little bit heartbroken about this blind buy - as so often, I looked in the reviews for the opinions I wanted to find (rich tobacco), rather than the opinions which dominate (pepper and cloves, bit of pine, incomplete). I like it a lot, but il n'y a pas d'amour . To me, this presented like a peppery, weaker version of Polo Green (1978) by the master, Benaim (RIP). Like you sprayed Polo two days ago, Loewe 7 yesterday, and woke up today to reflect on why you hadn't showered for two days. The deep, deep dry down - I mean, 2 hrs or more, loses the spikey, clove-pepper, and it settles into a lovely, albeit vague, "beige" scent, which warm and comforting. So, props for that. It has a burnt, ashiness to it, which the Loewe does better by pulling smokey. Both the pine and the tobacco in Polo are more distinctive, 'up-and-at'em' presentations of the same scents in the MH - although, like many below, I found that there's really barely any obvious tobacco here. There's much more in Polo. And Polo is £40 a bottle, available everywhere. I would not spend the money on this again, I'm afraid.
