Boozy, mint explosion at first. Absinthe isn't listed here, but is on the official notes and boy is it strong. Some cedar, lavender and cardamom come in after a few minutes which warms the scent up. Stays like that for me, I haven't noticed the Tonka/vanilla yet, lasts around 2.5hrs and is a just above skin scent to my nose, on my skin. Sprayed on a testing card and it projected a foot or two. So going to assume olfactory fatigue is setting in. Nice spicy, aromatic, just wish I could smell the vanilla more.

Starts off with a combo of mint and what I thought was anise, but official notes not listed here says absinthe, so we'll say that. Tingly, alcohol vibe, and with the mint reminds me of a mojito. Lavender comes through and then the dry down adds a smooth, rich blend of vanilla, Tonka and a hint of musk with that spicy absinthe layered over the top. Doesn't project too far that I've noticed, I'd say a few feet as I catch a whiff in a nice breeze, last 5hrs roughly with just 2 sprays.

So happy i found this gem. its more earthy/dirty than the current le male. people here say it smells like vintage le male, which i have never smelled so i cannot comment on that. but i tested duas vintage le male interpretation called error 404 and let me tell you that bondage hommes smells better. performance is great!! three quick squirts is all you need. i really don't know why anyone would choose the current le male above bondage hommes.

So Le Male gets rated at 3.96 but this gets 4.32 ??? I bought this for a lark as it was £5.25 inc p&p, the silly name appealed and I wanted a dumb daytime reach for holiday. You know what, its actually really good, wearable vanilla, lavender, a tad muskier, less sweet than the OG which makes it more grown up. Sure there's mint but I dont get the bomb implied by other reviewers. Performance is moderate but at this price who cares. 4/5

I' m so happy that I have discovered this hidden gem! If you like Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, and you are disappointed with the new reformulated version that barely last two hours, this is most definitely for you! Almost exact clone of Le Male with very strong scent and longevity that reach 8+ hours on clothes and 5+ on the skin, and also a very decent projection! Just amazing! I can't believe how something so cheap can be so good!

Nice JPG clone thats about 90% similar to the vintage version, with aromatic top notes of absinthe and mint, spiked with spicy cardamom reveal a heart of lavender, tonka bean and cedar over rich, complex base notes of warm sandalwood and sweet vanilla lasts very well 12hrs and is great value at around £5 for 50ml and women still seem to love this even after all these years.

This is an excellent scent. Much better than any LeMale clone and better than the 2020 version of same. It lasts over 12 hours on clothes and projects for 3-4 hours. The quality is great and I love wearing it. I have owned Fujiyama Gentleman, Perry Ellis white, Cuba Gold, and LeMale. This is light years better than all of them.

Elder and linden I smell at opening, both intense, but not in note list... Also lavender and mint. Musky at final. Good perfume, nice scent. Good longevity and sillage for the price ab. 4 euros. Milton Lloyd deserve more attention. Smell 9/10 Longevity 7/10 Projection 6/10 Price 10/10

Definitely the old JPG. Such longevity and throws the scents verry well. I spray a bit on my wrist and then i bump into a old friend who ask was I wearing Polo Blue knowing he meant Le Male lol. Over the moon I discovered this brand

Can't stop smiling when sniffing this. Memories in a bottle. Who cares if it doesn't last the whole day. It's cheap and smells divine. Note: Don't judge this until it settled .......the dry down is amazing.

I love this stuff!! Very linear, smells like the dry down or vintage le male from start to finish. For the price and quality it's a definite 10/10

My first fragrance two years ago, smells nice but there's a bit of alcohol in the first 5 mins but good nonetheless.

Musky vanilla, lovely JPG clone, Milton Lloyd really do make some great fragrances for the price.

Wearing this currently. I like that it's a spray. It's clearly a clone of jpg le male. But I didn't actually know that as I hadn't tried that. I just thought it had a kind of musky lemongrassy sea smell which reminded me of the coast. I'm surprised it's thought of as mint. But I have to say, I only tend to wear this when I'm on my own or going for some exercise. And that's specifically because of the name. That's because I don't like being complimented on wearing this particular one. Why Friend : "hmm... That's nice. What are you wearing today?" Me: "I don't want to say" Him: "what? Why? I really love it" Me: "you don't want to know what you love" Him: "tell me" Me: "bondage. You love bondage" *Weird looks* *awkward silence* Him: "seriously..." This happens a lot more than it should. This smell is an attention grabber. I wish it actually had a lower silliage. The dry down is a bit chemically but by the time it's got to that point my clothes are usually off and in the wash.its at least 4-5 hours. But gives off like a very sweet lavender like premium fabric conditioner. I've now bought JPG Le Male, the intense version. There is little difference initially. But I still prefer this for everyday use or sports and the JPG as a skin scent.

Stumbled across the Milton Lloyd line up on Amazon and decided to give several a go after reading many positive reviews on this Forum. I've been consistently impressed with the quality and longevity of the fragrances at such a reasonable price. I'm not interested in packaging or the bottles so quite happy to receive the fragrances in very ordinary generic bottles, which incidentally dispense an excellent soft mist, just as well as a little of Milton Lloyd fragrances go a really long way! Bondage Hommes seemed to be universally popular so I bought it for my husband but I immediately decided it was going to be mine, to my nose it's definitely a more feminine scent. What I smell most is lavender, vanilla and musk with a touch of sandalwood and bit of spiciness, it's a very well rounded scent, a little heavy for the warmer months so I'll probably stick to using it in the cooler weather.

I've reviewed a few Milton Lloyds and i've been very critical of them, albeit fairly so. This however, I cannot moan about. It's very JPG, although their are slight differences, but it is very similar to Le Male, which I like alot anyway - this is a fantastic cheaper version. The longevity is good on this one, as is the sillage. It just has something good about it that hits my nostrils in the right way. It's not quite as good as JPG, Le Male, although I think it lasts longer. Overall 8/10 - After all of the Milton Lloyd disappointments, I bow down to them on this one. Well done.

The initial smell on my skin reminds me of marzipan and leather. Mint is definitely there, but is not as strong to my nose as it is to others. There are similarities to JPG but during the drydown of JPG the fragrance changes and that vanilla scent comes to the fore, which is really nice. I don't get that vanilla creeping in with Bondage Homme, but that isn't to say I do not like this fragrance, especially when it is at this price!!!

I bought thia like 2 and a half years ago. It's been in the basement for at least an year with the other two I have from the same brand. Today I tried it and wow, what an awfull plasticy opening (maybe because of the time in that basement) but then an old school le male? Wow, I am smelling ot again and again and I'm really enjoying this. Try it, nothing to loose but a fiver 👍

A very decent cheapie fragrance, worth buying!! Le Male inspired without Spice notes, more aromatic and less vanilla in my opinion... Scent Profile: 7.5/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 if someone love Le Male dna, may blindly buy it! also I recommend keeping this alongside original, just spray on different spots

Top and mid notes smell like JPG Le Male and the later base notes are a Musk bomb like TF White Suede. Easy on the trigger, this is strong.

If you want to smell like cucumbers - go for it. This is a long lasting fragrance that projects but I absolutely despise the smell - I kept getting wafts of it days after spray on my clothes, and unfortunately the smell just isn't for me at all.

Well, I must say, this is a softer version of JPG Le Male: a clone. I get a solid 5 hours of longevity with good projection out of this! If your looking for a Le Male replacement; then here it is! The lavender, cardamom, mint, vanilla, musk, sandalwood are all there. The first thing that hits me is the lavender, mint and cardamom. Vanilla, sandalwood and musk come next with the tapering mint-vanilla vibe that softens the initial blast of lavender-mint explosion. I have three 2008 bottles of Le Male. When I did a side by side comparison, what I found is that the 2008 bottles were more musky, more concentrated sandalwood and lavenders. Almost a diesel type aroma, but not in the sense of Door Fahrenheit, just softer. The ML Bondage Homme is a fresher take on the bygone formulation of Le Male of the early 2000's. This is a replica of that formulation. Now, if Milton Lloyd, which is the oldest fragrance company in London; can duplicate AND redistribute the wonderful old Le Male dna; THEN WHY IN THE HELL CAN'T PUIG FRAGRANCE COMPANY, which is now the owner of Le Male??? Yes, it's true, the bottle is an aerosol can that is 1.7oz. But, there is no need to hold down the blasted button to douse yourselves in the scent. One little squirt on each side of the neck and one on your chest, gives you a solid 5-7 hours of the fragrance. This said, I can only imagine that it will be a matter of time before either prices go up OR formulas change. No one can know, but one thing is for certain; for those like myself, who miss old powerful and fresh Le Male that lasts; I'll definitely be stocking up just in case either scenarios happen!!! Longevity, 5-7 hours. Projection, 3-6 feet. Scent, Exact Replica Vintage Le Male. Price, Fantastic. Overall Value, Excellent. Scale of 1 to 10, 10 for me.

As my husband went out the door, I asked him what fragrance he had on. "I don't know. It's one you bought me." It smelled very familiar - like a Gaultier vintage. I'm not a connoisseur of male fragrances, but I'm familiar with a few, having bought my husband many. He said to check in his bag where he keeps a selection of fragrances for work (I've got him hooked ha ha). It was this gem in there. A Gaultier clone - Le Male vintage. I buried my nose into his chest as he left, taking in the scent. And had a few good sniffs out of his bag at home. I love it on him. Why would I buy Le Male when I can buy this for almost peanuts? And he appreciates my savvy shopping. Thank you, Milton Lloyd.

Incredibly awful presentation! So full marks if they were trying to come up with something ridiculously cheap looking to match the low price, the name alone would put most people off lol. However for a few euros the value for money of the fragrance is simply unrivaled imo. I agree with dremerick (two reviews below at this time) that this is linear and smells almost exactly of the Le Male dry down! Pretty good if you like that, strong and long-lasting. Great for those on a budget or those who want to discover the vibe of the original. Their Terre d'Hermes clone 'Kudos' is a pretty good one too.

oh man.. i remember wearing it back in 2002 or so.. since then i had couple of bottles every here and there. not using it much but just having them around. now it is 2023 and i am about to buy again.. i never known it is clone of some fragrance, but knowing that and having smell original JPG batch 2023 of la male.. i would say this for me is better.. woodier, darker, manlier.. maybe it is that nostalgia, but i simply love it.. for the price i would say its amazing

The first thing that struck me is that this fragrance has a harsh minty overload. I don't remember JPG le male having such harsh mintyness when I had it back in 1999/2000. I remember it being smoother, lighter, with a less minty freshness and more sweetness. I sampled a 2022 batch of le male recently and again, it was smoother and sweeter with less harsh mint. Performance with this is ok, nothing amazing but given the fragrance costs £5, there are no issues.

I’m a woman and I wear this it’s comforting to me it’s too sexy not to wear it it’s even better than jpg le male last longer it’s edible almost I get chocolate musk lavender from it like the ysl La nuit Homme it’s that guy wears this you know the “one” lol it’s not your generic smell I try to get Everyman I know to wear this lol...if your not good at attracting the girls get yourself a bottle of this sex potion and it’s only like £5

A great clone of vintage Le Male. 10+ longevity. About 3 hours projection and a strong sillage. This is not like what you get in the stores today when you buy Le Male, and that's a good thing! This is one of the strong Milton Loyd's so only a few quick sprays! 10/10

Some people on here have a habit of doing reviews before a fragrance even dries down. This had me fooled for a couple of minutes till it dried down to a smell of expired chemicals. Absolutely disgusting. Luckily it only costs me $9 bucks. You get what you pay for.

You don t have a chance to tell this apart from le male, unless u r trained pro nose... This is just great, basically perfect lm clone... A for the price?? It s a steal!!!!

I smelled it on a friend and it remind me a lot of le male Jean paul gaultier. I am not sure if it the same quality juice but didn t gave me a wrong impression.
