I really like this perfume. I have a sample of it from the New York store and will be sad when it is gone. I've never smelled anything like it. I'm not a huge fan of bergamot, and this has a strong bergamot opening, but I like how this one dies down. Within five minutes, the bergamot has moved to the background and you're left with jasmine and musk in the front, with a hint of rose. The overall effect is a very fresh, soft, professional scent that is inviting without being excessively floral, fruity, or woodsy. It smells like a colleague who washed their hair this morning with really expensive shampoo. The sillage is moderate, radiating fresh and soft about arms length. It lasts all day, with the end of the day being soft musks to sleep in.

When I first sprayed this I was disappointed. The harsh opening notes of bergamot citrus hit my nose me like a wall of hairspray and alcohol. BUT, when it settles, it's actually a very soft, warm rose on a bed of jasmine - clean, simple and super elegant. It reminds me of smelling a beautiful light pink rose in an English country garden on a gorgeous, cool summers day - unfussy, unpretentious - just a very pretty traditional rose with a hint of something cool, clean and contemporary.

The perfect office scent. So ethereal, pleasant and discreet. If you like Japanese perfumery you'll like this also. It is a unisex scent which leans slightly to feminine scents but it's safe. The bergamot is velvety soft and its presence is vivid at the opening. Then an ethereal blend of soft jasmine/musk/rose takes the lead and stays pretty linear till the end. The projection/sillage are soft as you can guess and the longevity is good, above the average but most of the time it is a beautiful skin scent suitable for summer daytime especially with high temperatures. This scent can't be cloying..

All I smell is Sambuca. I don't like it, but I can't stop sniffing it. Not a good frag for someone in recovery

Like the review below, I purchased a sample from the NY store. AL opens is simple and all four notes listed on this page can be smelled fairly well. The bergamot and rose open initially, the bergamot being a bit bitter, but nice enough. The floral notes are also prominent and rest on a common bed of musk. And that’s basically it - fairly linear, nothing to write home about. Kind of rolled my eyes seeing the price for what a full bottle would cost. Oddly enough, the overall smell of this fragrance reminds me of floral scented bar soaps that I can remember having in my house as a child. Pink bar soaps of Caress or perhaps Dove (my memory is a little fuzzy of brands here), but regardless, that’s what this scent smells like, a bar of soap with some floral notes imbued within. It’s a soft scent, and one could probably pull this off anywhere, but I find this to be more feminine than unisex. Again, definitely don’t think this is worth anything near the price tag and wouldn’t purchase myself, but perhaps others might like.

There are many lovely citrus/rose combo scents. This is not one of them. Smells like old Tupperware.

I really love this scent. Its so pure and simple, but captivating. It really gets its personality when someone is wearing it. Nothing deep there, but in this flood of all the woods, ouds...its refreshing to sense something lighter and uplifting....

While I was pretty excited to receive my sample of this, it was a pretty big disappointment. To me, it smells exactly like mosquito repellent. And a very specific brand of repellent that I can't think of at the moment. Thank god for samples.

This is quite a sweet, musky floral with a little bit of a plastic element to it. It plays quite close to the skin, if I'm being honest here... I didn't mind it, but it didn't move me either...

Nice red rose with a welcome hint of sweetness, but unoriginal and slightly dull. Certainly doesn't seem like a $240 perfume.
