Alleria

This is a scent you wear *TO* the beach, not one you wear to smell *like* the beach. There is a nice big gap in the scent profile that leaves room for salty, sweaty skin. In that sense, it's a cleverly crafted scent, requiring you + environment to complete the profile. I hope that was intentional ;) Aside from that, it is a bit heavy with aquatic "ideas", with a gentle musk in the background. Not dry, not wet, somewhere in the middle. It won't smell proper on paper in my opinion. Definitely requires skin, sweat, humidity, and warm weather to complete its profile.

Im not a big fan of marine scents, but this one I quite like it. From the first spray you have that typical : sea/marine and aquatic vibe and dries down to a marine scent but toned down by the beautiful musk, giving the perfume a slight powderiness. This is the scent you want to take with you on a summer holiday at the beach.

First off all, let me start by saying that the folks over at Mine Perfume Lab seem extremely nice and are proud of their work. I was looking forward to receiving and wearing Alleria, usually marine scents suit me well and over the years I’ve tried most of them. So when I got the package I spayed Alleria on and......I couldn’t distinguish it from Acqua di Sale, Salaria or Black Sea by Lorenzo Pazzaglia. Unfortunately this is not what I think of when thinking about the sea/beach. In my head I was expecting dry, salty, sandy ozonic musk.

Doesn’t smell very marine to me, more like a slightly salty barbershop.
