Vaniglia & Tabacco

Vaniglia & Tabacco is a wonderful blend by a largely overlooked niche Italian house. I have recently decided to experiment a journey between olfactory creations of Italian niche houses (since I'm Italian). From the raw-stylish package (a pity that they didn't gave us the sealing wax seal cover, by the way!) to the genuine ingredients, everything screams quality in a minimalist way. The scent itself is one of the most gorgeous gourmand I've ever tried. The vanilla is hot, sensual, creamy and rich, even if a bit hyperly-rounded, and has an honey and ambery-talcate beeswax finish; the Tobacco, on the other hand, is the real protagonist of this wonderful artisanal creation: agrumate, floral and fresh, intense and a bit sharp spiced with spikes. In the core notes, it settles on a sweet tobacco nuance. the drydown is similar, with whiffs then and now reaches your nostrils and make you want to drink the cotton candy-creamy-mouish juice. I think this fragrance could best suit to colder months, but even springs and summery ones. I appreciate the hand-craftsmanship of the perfume, and its performances. I have (blind) bought this and another bottle of a feminine scent for my girlfriend from Mine Perfume Lab, so I will put further on Fragrantica the review of hers, but I have quite high expectations as well! Looking after trying one among Forte edition in the next future!

I liked the sound of this one, went to their website, and...nothing. I guess it’s discontinued. At least I saved myself some money on a blind buy, and I can stay true to my ‘no blind buys!’ resolution.
