Brutal Classic

Polish fragrance for MEN producted on Miraculum Krakow Poland. I have original version pre reformulated. IT is beauty!

A great, really classic men ́s fragrance (mainly fresh air, lavender, moss and grass/green to me) with superb longeviety (10-13h) at a stunning price. I ́ll buy an extra bottle of this one for me and a few to give away. High quality stuff for a very low price. Someone on fragrantica really need to update the notes on this one.

I own the eau de cologne. This is purely vintage. Affordable and great.

Top notes: basil, bergamot, lemon, lime, rosemary Heart notes of rose, lavender, clove, lily of the valley, orange blossom Base notes of musk, patchouli, leather, moss, vetiver, sandalwood.

Dad smell. Its other version (Brutal Grand) outshines it, it's worse than Wars, and it's slightly better than Lider. I never used this and never will because I actually respect myself somewhat. For the record, it MIGHT have been better before La Rive acquired it, but I was too young to actually smell or care about that version. It's a scent that older men who smoke cheap cigarettes will have on, I won't hate on the younger ones that don't know any better or use it as aftershave. It may be as cheap as a small link of sucha podwawelska sausage, but it's not worth it. Get Wars instead, that's just way better. This reeks of old in a very unpleasant way to me. Outshined, mismanaged, and a not-so-classic anymore brand thrown into the pits of hell.

Wow, can't believe I found my dad's cologne on here. This has an incredible staying power. My dad would put that on in the morning, then drop me off to school and then pick me up later and still smell of Brutal.

Since 2014 produced by other Polish brand La Rive. It's ain't bad but there are better choices. 2/5

It's a well known fragrance that is several decades old. Nowadays it is gaining momentum as old school fragrances are a novelty of sorts. I own the EDT version which is quite similar to Quorum by Antonio Puig and also to PR Homme, perhaps Antaeus, Kouros etc. This is very similar to the stuff my grandad used to wear. When I was a teenager I found such fragrances to be repugnant and even voulgar. Now that I am 34... I don't find it that bad. I would not wear it in the summer or for a fancy date (but it would work) but it's quite interesting. I feel like this is a fragrance of the era that I have never experienced. But I am beginning to understand it's masculine nature. It's raw, unapologetic but at the same time comforting. Overspraying might produce very bad results with the exception if coldest winter months. It's a guilty pleasure really. A teenager or a young man wearing this grows an instant beard and may expect strange glances from female counterparts and curious glances from milfs.

Gee, I wonder if this smells a bit like Brut?
