Boss Babe

I almost didn't purchase this after seeing a YouTube review that said this was even softer than the original Missguided perfume Babe Power, I had been debating on which of the two I wanted to purchase and I'm so so glad I tried them in store first. Babe Power was so weak and lasted less than 20 minutes on a tester strip meanwhile this one was beautiful I left the tester of this in my handbag and my whole handbag smelt just like this the morning after. To my nose this is an almost exact dupe for Elie Saab Girl of Now, and I'm saying this after GON was my signature fragrance for over two years and I always own at least 2 bottles of it in my collection at any point as well as both of the flanker GON Shine and GON Forever. I don't see any at all similar to either Black Opium which I used to own but had to give away as it was headache inducing and I see even less similarity to Olympea? which I also own. Now back to this, this is literally sugary sweet almond marzipan. It's so delicious and intoxicating and definitely not soft on me anyway. It has ridiculously good projection and fragrance doesn't last on my skin and I rarely ever can smell my own fragrance but this left a scent cloud all around me. My boyfriend could smell this on me from over a foot away. And I'm stunned! This is so so beautiful, almondy and rich. It lasted on my skin for around 8 hours with strong projection and I can still smell it on my clothes after over 16hours and it's still projecting enough to smell if you are sat next to me. I love this scent and will 100% repurchase when it runs out.

I have the original (Babe Power) which I love. Boss babe I love also. In my opinion this is more daytime in comparison with Babe Power. I can really detect the almond note and it this scent has attracted a few compliments. Creamy, sweet, almondy with a touch of citrus. Lasts all day on my clothes.

So I was dubious when ordering a perfume from an affordable clothing brand but I’m shocked! I am not a huge fan of the bottle, it’s a bit gimmicky but I loved all the notes listed and for £15 I couldn’t pass up the chance of loving the scent. Which I do! It has a lactic note to it that is very reminiscent of Bond no 9 Bond St. interestingly I HATE that note in Bond St, it’s so prominent and smells stale, yet somehow this one balances it so well that it actually compliments the fragrance. It’s milky, warm, slightly powdery, lightly floral and gently nutty. I know that sounds like an odd combination but it all pulls together nicely! I like this more than some of my niche fragrances so I’m happy I blind purchased. I have only sprayed my wrists but the scent has lasted on my skin for 6 hours (so far!) and for the first 4 hours I kept getting strong wafts of it, since applying it I have been constantly sniffing my wrists and I really enjoy this!

I bought this perfume along with ‘babe power’ and ‘babe night’ from missguided. This perfume is a journey. At first spray it smelt very chemically? Sugary and heavy. Nuclear scent bubble. It remains sugary and heavy throughout (heaviest of the three perfumes I bought) the dry down however, the chemicalness fades away. It dries down into a sugared almond with rose and that scent lasts for about 5hours on my skin (very impressive for a scent that costs £30 for 80ml). Would recommend as a cheap blind buy if you are a fan of sweet, nutty, vanilla scents like me 👍 UPDATE : Boyfriend said it was headache inducing. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing lol

ive gotten so many compliments wearing this! I don't understand how you can dislike this! its been my signature perfume for years now. that being said, there are just better options, so right now im trying to find the best perfumes to replace this one. its great for younger people who don't want to smell like generic perfume. its sweet and inviting and warm but its not too much. I spray it in the morning, go to work, and can still smell it on myself the next day (yes only if I didn't shower in-between...)
