Missoni Parfum Pour Homme

Bought 30ml of this while buying Missoni Wave for the summer, without much expectation and not going in looking for a Chanel dupe (I tried blue de chanel twice in a shop so I won't compare the two). I thought why not? What can I say? I am truly happy I discovered this! It opens citrusy with lemon and grapefruit, a healthy dose of ginger and later you get a long lasting, clean lavender, surrounded birch bark and sandalwood, with a hint of"pomarose" (to me it's a juicy sour apple with flowery nuances). You can tell immediately it's a blue scent, yet more refined. Not necessatily more "mature" but surely not highschool-ish, it's leans green ending up somewhere around petrol green/ teal blue. The green must come from what Missoni describes as "Mediterranean Maquis" notes. Not a gym showergel but a nice soap. The notes in the drydown are well blended and I, not being that expert, can't really tell them apart. I enjoy the fact that the citruses are long lasting in this one, it's definitely a masculine scent thanks to the lavender and it leans towards the bitter side thanks to the ginger and the birch bark. It's super versatile and will work all year round while suiting pretty much every occasion, even though I think it's easier to dress it up than down. Office appropriate. Performance is very good on me, lasting even beyond 12h on a good day, around the 8h mark it becomes a skin scent, yet the projection is very good in the first couple of hours, especially in the light breeze where it got me some compliments (it became my gf's favourite, alongside Dior homme sport). Missoni Parfum Pour Homme This is a pleasant scent! In the opening, you get a refreshing, lovely citrus blend that immediately feels bright and clean. Within about half an hour, I start to pick up ginger and something fruity, though I can’t quite pinpoint what it is. After an hour or two, the base notes begin to shine through, revealing a woody, earthy musk that grounds the composition. I really enjoy the overall experience. It reminds me of that fresh, calm feeling after a morning shower, when you start making breakfast. It’s simple, grounded, and pleasant. The scent isn’t iconic or groundbreaking—it’s just consistent, and that’s part of its charm. This fragrance isn’t for someone obsessed with being noticed. Projection sits between intimate and arm’s length, which works perfectly fine for me. The longevity is the only drawback keeping this from being a great fragrance. I’m not an oversprayer, but even after bumping up to eight sprays, I still had to reapply later in the day. That could be frustrating if you prefer a “spray and go” kind of scent. On the plus side, Missoni Parfum Pour Homme is very affordable—you can buy two bottles for the price of one designer fragrance and spray to your heart’s content. The name having parfum in the title implies a stronger concentration with more time on your skin, and I think that it should be removed from the title. It’s not trying to be special, and that’s perfectly okay.

I first sprayed this and was like whoa this is loud as hell. Put it away, because i couldn't handle it. But i pulled it out, to try it again. And during the dead cold of winter...This bad boy was singing! Godspeed with this thing in the heat of summer. It's easily a beast mode fragrance. Last long, projects well, has a great scent trail. What more do you want from a blue freshy. . I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest, and front of my shirt. Will I buy this again? Yes. What's the strength of this? Parfum. Does this fragrance enter BEAST MODE, good, just okay or weak sauce at best? BEAST MODE. Can you use it as a unisex scent? Yes(But go easy on the sprays). Am I willing to trade this fragrance? No. Should You Skip It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It? Sample it first. Very similar to any blue fragrance. Like Bleu de Chanel, and many others...But this one smells the best. This is a Versatile Fragrance. Personally I love it even thou i've received mixed reactions to it from people around me qhile wearing it. I love the Grapefruit and Lemon opening even thou it smells a lil' synthetic. After like 30 minutes it turns fresh and somehow powdery like some aftershaves that Barbershops use after using the razor around. Personally I love fragrances that teminds me of Barbershops. I own Bleu de Chanel EDP and althou they are both "Blue" frags... they are a lil similar but different enough to be considering it as a dupe or clone. Whoever think it is I dont know if their batch is Right or else. It lasts me all day and projects really well. About mixed reactions: Some persons asked me if I got a haircut that same day because of the smell. One girl told me that I smelled like storaged old clothes (definitelly not a compliment 🤣), Another Woman told me that she loved the smell because to her it is like a fresh out of the shower clean and groomed man smell. A dude told me it wasnt bad BUT it was too "powdery" for his tastes. My mother (shes my fiercest reviewer and one of her favorites from my collection is Bleu de Chanel EDP) told me that it smells like aftershave and that I have WAY BETTER PERFUMES. This isnt extraordinary for her, so if this was really a BDC Dupe or Clone ... she'd love it. At the end of the day I wear it because I love it. I feel that it suits me pretty well now for Spring/Summertime.

Good alternative to BDC EDT for a fraction of it's price. Still has it's owmn personality, it's not a 100% duplication. I'd sat around 70% similar. I've found a loophole on Notino where they sold a gift set of 130ml of this fragrance for just 40 euros while the 50ml bottle is 25 euros. Needless to say I bought it immediately. It opens more sweet and fruity than BDC. Dries down similar to BDC but to me it's slightly less woody. I feel Missoni also projects way better than BDC. The weak projection on BDC is one of the downsides (although it's good for an office enviroment, I would've liked a better projection). Longevity on Missoni is around 2 hours of moderately strong projection and 6 hours that sits close to the skin. For the price you can't really go wrong. I would recommend not buying this if you hate generic smelling fragrances, because this one does fall under the 'cheap blue' category, but I think it's still better than most generic cheap blues out there in my opinion. People love bashing fragrances because it's 'generic' and smells like showergel, but there's a reason why blue fragrances are so popular. They are mass appealing, easy to wear and very versatile. This fragrance will give you more compliments than some hypercomplex niche oud fragrance for 300 bucks. That said, I do feel Missoni Parfum has some more personality than most cheap blue's out there.
