Love the scent and sits on the skin like a really natural, floral scent. Would much prefer it if it came in a spray bottle mrather than the screw lid as it would be so much easier to put on and i think would give more silage but such a loveloy spring and summer perfume - clings to the skin and is so soft and relaxing like being outside in the summer

Green. This smells green. It smells green in the worst way: it is not fresh, or like spring in a bottle, or energising. It smells like grass that someone spilled floral scented cleaning agent on. The floral notes are poorly blended and indistinguishable. It is sharp, acrid, and has no base notes so nothing mellows out as it dries, it just disappears. It's the worst perfume I have owned, including the cheap ones. This is not cheap and for the price (£85) it is abysmal. The performance is weak and the scent is unforgivable. I wouldn't even pass this on to someone I don't like. Mitchell and Peach describe this as having 'singular depth, warmth and elegance' and all of this is laughably incorrect, except the singular part because this is has a single note and it is dreadful. Nothing about this perfume suggests warmth or elegance, and certainly not the sophistication they also claim. Oh, and it smells awful in the bottle or on card, not just on my skin. It also smelled terrible on everyone I forced to try it.

This is definitely a feminine scent! Unisex is stretching it. It opens with a huge burst of florals (don't actually catch much rose though) and it's not until about an hour later it eases down and becomes closer to a unisex fruity smell. Still floral throughout but I'm not too great at picking out notes and I have no idea what peony is supposed to smell like. I'm familiar with ylang-ylang and lavender of course, which kind of led me to expect something along the lines of Molton Brown (maybe that's not so far off, except this is much more concentrated) and I guess the weird undercurrent I get is down to the fennel? This isn't horrible, it's just not something I can see myself wearing as a man, no matter how flamboyant I'm feeling! I actually have English Leaf from this house too and strangely this carries a similar note somewhere in the mix, although that one I've not given a proper outing yet. I'm waiting until I go for a county walk before I spray that on fully. EDIT: I ended up giving this to my mother. She wears it often and it suits her a damn sight more than it suits me!
