Mango Sticky Rice

The dry-down on this is one of the most authentic smelling mango-sticky-rice dessert scents I've smelled. It's not very sweet, but an authentic, Thai dessert isn't either. If you want something sweeter, I recommend Le Monde Gourmand Riz de Mangue. But if you want the real, authentic fragrance of this amazing Thai dessert.... THIS is your girl.

The performance is not the best for this one, but i sooo love it!i got it from Thailand and really wanted a fragrance that smells liket their most loved dessert, and here it is!

Update: I received my sample from GlinDee (great company and packaging). The scent is dominated by a synthetic mango from start to finish. I don't really get pandan but there is indeed a popcorn nuance as mentioned by DDawson below. Smells more like a candle. Absolute nope for me. Interestingly I just received Celestial Object by Liis (blind buy sucess and that one has a pandan smell to me, likely from the rice paper note). I was making a dessert with pandan leaves yesterday, and the house was filled with the aroma of pandan. I am in search of something that can capture the scent in a bottle, so i ordered a sample. I would think a Thai house would be able to somewhat get it right lol. Will report back!

So this doesn't smell like journals mango sticky rice with is amazing and smells like mango sticky rice sweet and savory this has a Toasted coconut notes that st first I was like oh yeah! But immediately turned into BUTTER 🧈! BUTTERED POPCORN 🍿! I get the mango peeking out behind the buttered popcorn every so often but I'm not getting coconut any more I'll update as it drys down.... As it drys down I get a bit of rice but no coconut and no mango anymore....this smells good but isnt coming off as the mango sticky rice dessert like I had hoped at least not on my skin! I hope someone out there can get coconut and not butter or buttered POPCORN because these NOTES are AMAZING!. Just sadly not on my skin😭

Bright juicy mango, overripe and dripping down your hands. More mango than rice I'd say but you get a bit more cream/starchyness in the dry down. As a sweet fragrance lover, its a win for me and I immediately ordered a full bottle.

I wonder if this will smell like journals mango sticky rice being that's so hard to get in the usa. This actually looks like it'll be better having the coconut milk and Toasted coconut added 😋
