Mellow Musk

I decided to blind buy this because I couldn’t find a sample and the travel size was really affordable. The reviews on here seemed blind-buy friendly 🥴 for the loss I was willing to incur if this turned out bad (Don’t be like me. Perfume sampling needs to be more accessible *coughETSYcough*). But thank God, it turned out good. This smells like a dream, I wouldn’t have been upset if I bought a whole bottle. The peach is apparent and it has a deep lactonic note that combines with the toffee to give it that grown edge. I noticed this smelled like a more refined, darker distant cousin of MSJROB by Lab on Fire. And sure enough, they have similar notes. I layered them and-when I tell you guys-this will be my beast mode signature scent ALL summer. I mean every word. I also appreciate the bang for my buck with the brand and the attention you can tell they put into customer experience, which isn’t something I often talk about in perfume collecting. The quality of the packaging was very nice for what I paid and the size I received. When you consider that it’s commonplace to receive designer scents, at steeper markups, in beat up boxes, it’s worth noting

I received this in a fragrance sample exchange. I had never heard of Mith and probably wouldn’t have been drawn to this by the name, but had set my mind to try everything with an open mind. It was the type of experience fragheads live for: within seconds of spraying this on my skin I was in love. I looked up the notes and it made more sense. This is peaches and warm vanilla cream. I’m an undersprayer (1-3 sprays usually) and this is enough to last all day; enough to smell it on my jacket still the next day. It’s the sort of fragrance that is an easy reach; comforting enough to wear to bed or while reading on a rainy day. Before my sample was quite gone, I ordered a travel spray on the Mith website. Ultra quick shipping, and the package came with nice tissue paper and a gold sticker, as well as 2 samples. The travel spray was in a classy box. I don’t normally save boxes but I couldn’t get rid of this one. I have since passed along what was left of my sample because this one is so amazing it needs to be shared.

I’m on my 3rd or 4th bottle of this already, so safe to say that I’m obsessed. I love how it’s sweet but never cloying, making it perfect for daily wear. Sometimes I wear it alone, and other times, it’s my go-to skin base for layering with other scents. Despite the name Mellow Musk, this is really a soft, skin-hugging vanilla - not the creamy, gourmand kind, but a fresh vanilla pod scent with a subtle, lotion-like warmth. The musk doesn’t overpower; it simply enhances the vanilla, making it feel effortlessly natural. Light, airy, and never too heavy, it’s the kind of vanilla that works beautifully even in hot, humid weather.

This was a blind buy and I was amazed at the scent and performance. I get a little peach in the beginning but the DD is where it’s at! I don’t like coconut but the way it mixes with the vanilla and musk makes this an amazing scent! I wore this one day and at 4pm after wearing it for 9 hours the cashier was like “you smell amazing”! I could smell my scent bubble but had no idea it was still projecting like that! This is my signature scent now and I already ordered a BUB!

For the love of my life in perfume. This! Is! the Greatest! Milky Sweeten Creamy perfume of all time. I smell this once at the counter. And it was amazing. It reminds me of Love, don't be shy by Killian. Soft marshmallow smells and a touch of powdered milk which giving the scent of childhood. But the perfume lacks silage and power on me so I didn't get this when I first tested it at the counter. (Spoiler: I regret it)

really good. almost identical to the nest madagascar vanilla oil to me. opens up to sweet citrus coconut, dries down to a true creamy sweet vanilla. projection and lasting power are terrible and completely ruins how good it is. im doing like 30 sprays and poof, its gone.

This perfume, you have to wear it on your office, but your office has to be cold. If you spray it for 10 sprays everybody will turn head to you. I love this. This is warm. This is sweet. 🩷 it’s give you a cute warmth guys in your office 🍰

A very comforting vanilla creamy musk. A hint of coconut & I get very little peach & jasmine. Intimate sillage & moderate longevity on me. I do love it. It does remind me of MAC Creme d' Nude but not identical for sure. 💛

I have so many marshmallows, this is just another (really good quality) one. I’m gonna love the hell out of my sample, but I’ll wait til I run out of my full bottles to get something like this.

It is offensive how good this is. Literally the perfect clean cozy warm delightful musky coconut-vanilla dream. Wearing it feels like hugging your favourite stuffed animal.

I just got this and I’m obsessed with it already. The scent is warm, sweet, and soft, but it disappears pretty fast, so you need to spray a lot and reapply often.

It is gorgeous! I do wish it were stronger and lasted longer. But the soft hug of a skin scent is perfection, great for layering

Smells like peaches and cream. Soft, lactonic, nostalgic and cozy. It’s pretty and easy to wear.

I will wear this scent everywhere. So light, airy with a soft touch of calming and sweet.

Another favorite from Mith. Clean, milky, and cozy vanilla and coconut scent that can be used in summer. Sadly, the longevity and the projection from this scent are very poor but I am not mad cause the scent is a chef's kiss!

As delicious as this smells, it's not really anything new. If you already have Commodity Milk - or Yum Boujee Marshmallow, you don't really need it.

I had sample of Mellow Musk for a while. The scent is sweet and creamy, fluffy musk, so sweet but not cloying. Smell quite good. I really like most of Mith fragrances,(my favourite one is Water-Lily Pond) I think they've done very good jobs on floral/woody/fresh or aromatic scents. However, for me, there is something off about their sweet/gourmand fragrances. I'm not gonna say it's bad, it might not work for me. I do love Proad Cherry Syrup BTW (Mith and Proad are the same company but different brands) Ended up giving sample to my co-worker. She likes it a lot and smells good on her.

Hmm, I smell a bit of Andalusian Soul in here (not my favorite) and a light Play-Doh scent (which I can quite appreciate). The scent is super soft and it fades quickly. It's okay. I'm not really impressed.

Its ok. Tried this at their store in Centralworld Bangkok. Smells synthetic (and cheap really) and gets worse in the drydown. It was only 1459 THB for the 60ml, but it was not for me.

This is YBM without the strawberry. Sad day.

I wonder if I received a wrong sample, because my experience with this scent is quite different than most reviews below. I do not smell any peach in the opening. I immediately get just creamy lactonic musk. It’s very cocooning and comforting. As it starts to dry down it gets sweeter. At this point I was very worried it would turn into a blanche bete sour disaster - my skin generally doesn’t agree with lactonic scents (for that reason musk moschus also didn’t work out for me). But no, the sweetness dissipates in the deeper drydown (is this thanks to the amber?). And then something quite magical happened. I kept smelling vanille planifola by Guerlain. I have a bottle of that one, so I thought it was lingering on a garment in my dressing room (I was tidying up). But I kept smelling it, even after I had left the room. I didn’t get it at first but it was the deep dry down of mellow musk. I’m starting to smell something a bit tobacco like (I also get that in vanille planifolia - I know, my nose is weird). This is in no way a dupe of vanille planifolia, but it’s definitely in the same vain. It’s sweeter, milkier and muskier (oh and 5 or 6 times cheaper). I will test my sample some more, but I think I need a full bottle of this. I need to do another full day wear test to be absolutely sure it doesn’t turn sour lactonic, but if I have the same wearing experience as this time, then it’s an absolute love.

Liking this! It’s peaches and cream but very low key, like a pastel version. Clean white musks like laundry soap ‘linen’ but soft and fluffy, not harsh or soapy, with the peach/cream elements understated. The sweet isn’t cloying, achingly sugary or saccharine; the milky elements aren't hugely lactonic or foody. It’s a really pretty comfort/bedtime type of musk. Clean, gently fruity, water-colored. Nice!

Can anyone send me s sample decant of this??? I'm dying to try this and Ambery, basically anything Amber/ambroxan/ related. I'm begging on both pages for this lmaooo someone help me I'm poor! (Bridesmaids reference)

It’s nice. It’s all milky caramel in the opening. Very much reminiscent of Escapade gourmand, but weaker. In 15 min it’s a Miami Glow-soapy coconut, and almost gone. If you ask me, EG is the better choice 🍮

$150 overpriced warm vanilla sugar disguised as a luxury niche perfume from an international fragrance house. I swear people fall for anything. It’s my fault for expecting more from my fellow humans
