Honey Milk

I was passively looking for a honey fragrance and happened upon this at target. Usually honey scents are overwhelmed by florals, but not her. This is HONEY. Yes, you can smell the alcohol in it at first but I promise it fades quickly. Mix Bar tends to open a little alcoholic. This is a delightful honey and great for layering! Definitely recommend if you're looking for creamy, amber honey rather than a honeysuckle scent. Opens with a warm, ambery honey and lactonic undertones, slightly spiced with the star anise. The almond notes grow stronger throughout the day. This is a great summer and fall scent, it's giving sunflower on a warm day. As it fades the warmth of the amber and star anise take the forefront and the milky scent fades. But she is honey all day, truly. Very affordable at $20 and it lasts about 4-5 hours. Great value for the quality and longevity. Most truly honey scents I've seen can be quite pricey, so if you're searching give it a shot! I've been layering this with Lattafa's Rave Now, which is my ride or die. Rave now is a lactonic red berry and cream scent with floral undertones. Adding Honey Milk to that in the spring and summer is like drizzling on some sunshine. I get a lot of compliments on them alone and together.

Sweet, fluffy, softly floral, uncomplicated vanilla gourmand heaven! I imagine this is how Winnie the Pooh would smell in the best possible way. Haha! Honey Milk is in a league of its own compared to everything else in Mix:Bar's line IMO. Don't get me wrong as I love Cloud Musk, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fragrance. It doesn't turn sour from the oat milk note, nor is it overly floral or sweet from the honey note. The vanilla absolute is the star of the show, and the other notes are just there to enhance it. I have a hard time picturing any fellow vanilla/gourmand lover regretting buying this one, and it's a steal for $20. It's not a projection beast which is expected at this price point, but I still gets steady whiffs of it hours after application. Honey Milk is also a lot of fun to layer! It's perfect on it's own, but it's very complimentary paired with other fragrances featuring stone fruit, amber, marshmallow or nutty notes. It's delicious with R.E.M. Cherry Eclipse, Nemat's Amber EDP, Sand + Fog's Innocence perfume oil (dupe for Dulce/Eclaire) or Tree Hut's Tropic Glow body cream (similar to SDJ 62). I hope other Fragrantica users join me in sharing some of their favorite Honey Milk layering combos too!

PHOTOREALISTIC honey and milk. Definitely the best Mix:Bar has ever done. Sweet, lactonic, warm, and comforting. Lasts forever on the skin also. The price point is unbeatable for this. 10/10. I really wish they would come out with 100ml bottles, just so I could have a big one of this. Very versatile, layers well with a lot of scents. Pair it with SDJ 62 for a baklava combo, Choco Musk for honey hot cocoa, Cloud 2.0 for gourmand heaven, etc. Anything, Honey Milk goes with anything. It's insanely good. She deserves all the praise. If you're a gourmand lover, just spend the $20 and get it. Edit: layering combo to add! If you like this honey, you need to go buy The Bees are Flying by Sorce. Use that one as your main perfume then layer Honey Milk with it. I’ve been using Honey Milk as a secondary with that one. So The Bees on wrists, behind ears, inner elbows, and chest. Then Honey Milk behind knees, by ankles, on top of head, and a spray on my shirts. They mix together beautifully! The Bees is lighter and more airy, but Honey Milk is richer and more lactonic. Paired together, this is a dream honey combo. I feel like a fairy.

I absolutely love a photorealistic honey fragrance. Maybe even more than realistic vanilla creams. This is a perfect everyday scent for me: linear, clean (as clean as gourmands get) layerable. I wish it performed a little better, it has a very small scent bubble, arms distance or less. Sillage is a little better. I made a pot of coffee this morning and my partner could smell both in our bedroom after I left. Someone mentioned layering this with Chocolate Musk which sounds divine but I must be one of the people who got a bad bottle of CM bc although it smells nice, its the lightest and weakest fragrance I own so whenever I smell honey milk first, I can’t smell Choco Musk at all. My nose goes completely anosmic. I may come back later with my layering combos. Until then enjoy this absolutely perfect cheapie and lmk if theres an extrait anywhere that smells exactly like this.

This perfume is a good, smooth honey fragrance that I enjoy smelling, although I do not smell the coffee note (which is not a big deal to me). The fragrance is more of a personal scent than a scent everyone around you will smell. If someone is really close by or hugs you, then they will smell it. However, if you spray on clothing fabric, you can still smell faintly after two days (or possibly more). If you’re looking for a more straightforward honey fragrance to layer on top of one of your favorite lotions or perfumes, I would suggest giving this a try. It does seem like it is hard to smell this in warmer temperatures, so will use mainly in cooler temperatures such as at my work.

I love this fragrance, this might be too niche, but to me it smells like what id imagine these honey fudge squares that the Bernstein bears made in an episode I saw as a kid and always wanted to try LOL. It's a nice milky sweet honey, with some very light oat and spice notes. I am a huge fan of honey fragrances so maybe I'm bias, but I think the bad reviews on this are a little extreme, I always get compliments when wearing this! I'm also so sad its getting discontinued, but luckily, I found 5 bottles of it at a discounted price at Ollies :3 This is beautiful if you layer it with anything that has a harsh lavender, to kind of tone it down, perfect for spring or bedtime!

delicious! warm, slightly creamy honey granola. it's sweet but not too sugary with a clean, smooth drydown. it's definitely more of a personal scent and safe for the workplace, but is very unique. i don't get the coffee at all. i think the oat note adds a slightly savory grounding factor. it projects for a couple hours on me, but i can smell it on my wrists all day as it transforms into a sweet ambery skin scent. it's different than i thought it would be but absolutely lovely. i have been layering it with moon milk by frenshe for a little additional spice. so good!

Dip me in honey and throw me to the lesbians, this perfume smells like you've been covered honey. Rich, luxe, and a hint of clean soap. It's sultry and sweet without being overdone. I can't find any lactonic notes, the main ones I smelled were honey and soap. The longevity shocked me, I could still smell it on my wrists after washing my hands. Rather linear if that matters to you. If you are even considering getting this, try to get your hands on it because it was love at first whiff with this scent.

Out of my entire collection this is honestly one of my favorites (not even considering the fantastic price point). It's a very classic milk and honey scent but it melts into the skin and becomes very warm and almost nutty. I'm definitely getting a lot of the oat too. It actually smells the same on my skin as it does on my clothes so I'm thrilled. The lasting power isn't any better or worse than most of my niche/designer fragrances. Very pleased with this one!

I think this is my favorite fragrance I bought in 2025! And I came upon it completely by chance too. Mustve been meant to be :) I don't really get honey or coffee notes in this. For me, on my skin, it smells like vanilla and chocolate. Think hot fudge sundae. Subtle and close to skin, but delicious. I like to use this on my skin before bed and I can usually still smell it on me in the morning.

Agree that this reminds me of honey/milk/oats soap without smelling soapy at all. It’s just a really nice sweet honey with a lactonic quality to it. I love it. The thickness of the honey note settles down a bit on the dry down and I was surprised at how long this lasted on my skin. Absolutely worth the price in my opinion.

honestly smells just like philosophy's fresh cream warm cashmere, but with a honey forefront. it's sweet but not too sweet, isn't headache inducing, and also nice and creamy. the longevity isn't too bad either, and honestly i think it could be a year-round fragrance for some ! definitely a strong blind-buy for the price.

I actually complimented a coworker because I loved the scent. She told me the name and I got it. It’s very warm and slightly earthy. Not a lot of people like it which is fine. I personally love this scent. Feels like I’m being in being hugged.

After the drydown it's a lovely honey. I don't smell much milk but it is creamy in the way a skim latte is. Mainly I am getting bee though edit: i am so in love with this now wow full fat glass of milk is great actually. perfect for bedtime.

This perfume is really unique it's sweet and you can really smell the honey! The honey in the one doesn't smell of urine and mixed flowers like most honey fragrances. I love this. I do wish there was a little bit more vanilla in it though.

This is so pretty, sweet and honeyed with notes of milk and ambery warmth that make this little cheapie beauty too good to pass up! I snatched it as soon as I tried it and I love it!!

This is sooo good! It’s what you would get if you combined Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere with honey & extra vanilla. Must love honey to enjoy this.

My primary gourmand for 2025. Honey Milk transported me to the same feeling I got from my very first fragrance, a photorealistic honey from The Body Shop. This was definitely a nostalgic buy. It is sweet, a little sharp, but still capable of comforting you. Overtime I felt the regret of this purchase from its cheap packaging to its flat personality that you get after the third hour of wear. Sadly this flatness became the whole experience around the fourth month of owning it. It just didn’t age well. I will continue my hunt for the perfect honey fragrance.

i was really excited about this perfume because of the reviews and notes and it definitely delivers, but i got bored of it very quickly. to my understanding, mixbar perfumes are made to be layered, so that may be on me for wearing it on its own. soft honey smell, i only get a touch of coffee and a bit of milkiness, sweet but somehow not overly so. i get endless compliments on this perfume. sort of makes me feel like i would get swarmed by bugs and pollinators.

A honey fragrance that's actually predominately honey scented! Really simple honey and oat milk smell that, again, actually smells more like honey than some combo of honey floral/incense/vanilla, etc like many other honey fragrances. I definitely bought this in the wrong season because it feels too hot to wear this now, but I will update once I can get some wear time in normal, non-sweltering weather.

Definitely smells of tea and honey on me, it's delicious on first spray, but it's sooo intense that I'll get a little nauseous after a while. It would be a perfect hit if it was toned down just a little bit, maybe with more floral notes. I'll be layering it with some other perfumes I have to see if I can balance it out.

this is the actual sweet, non-floral honey scent i was looking for. it's creamy and sweet. layers really well with the VS Honey oil and lotion, and B&BW Honeycomb. disappears pretty quickly on skin, but lasts awhile on clothing. you can find these at Marshall's too, which is nice.

This is cute... It’s definitely honey and milk, though it’s almost a beeswax/candle-ish honey. Reminds me of my Lattafa Eclaire except not as good, and with much weaker projection. If you have one, I don’t think you need the other. Good value for the money though.

This is so good, it is a sweet, almondy, honey milky tea. It makes you feel like you're bathing in it.

When I think of milk and honey, I envision something subtly sweet and powdery. However, my experience with this scent was different; it was much too sweet for my taste. Some of my colleagues mentioned they liked it, though. Initially, it has an almondy lactade scent, but after a few seconds, that disappears, leaving only the smell of pure sugar and honey. It also has a strange chemical after scent that I can't describe, but that's what turned me off the most about this fragrance. While I can understand why others might enjoy it, I personally won’t be wearing it again.

I had hopes for this, but it's only okay. I do smell honey, which I wanted, but it is overall weak and there is this slightly medicinal scent that gradually increases and throws the balance off.

I was one of the first people who bought this when it came out.. and I LOVED it. FINALLY I had a signature fragrance! It was sweet, complex, and smelled exactly like honey. Now, I am selling my bottle and back up bottle. They smell like actual cat pee. It is so dissapointing. I do not know if it is just how they aged (I am inclined to think NOT as I bought a new one just in case and it smells the same) or if my nose changed. Regardless its very sad. I would say NOT a good blind buy. And just be cautious that not everyone may be smelling it as you do.

Gosh this stinks. I Couldn't even wait for the dry down. I smelled this at Target and the honey note is way too sweet. Somewhat spicy with the star anise, but mostly sweet. It made me a little nauseous and I like sweet perfumes. I tried to wash it off and I could still smell it, so at least the formula is good, but yuck.

The first spray had me recoiling. The dry down is slightly better, but still kind of offensive... I'll have to come back to this, but right now it's a dislike. I'm not sure about skin, but on clothing this projects and lasts a long time.

Unfortunately this was a miss for me. I haven't found a Honey fragrance yet that doesn't goes animalic on me. What am i??

Literally smells like pee when you are passing by a homeless person or a stinky train station.

I own quite a bit of honey fragrances (Ellis Brooklyn's Bee, Slowdive, Kim Kardashian Pure Honey, Zoologist Bee) and most of the time, the very beginning stages of honey is funky or sharp. But it never smells like cat pee🙄 or a homeless person. The comparisons are absurd, really. Seriously, I have never read a review(s) on here, that smelled another persons fragrance, and proceeds to come here warning people not to buy it because it smells of piss. It's always the buyer that is spreading rumours. That's so wrong and misleading! Others could be missing out on a good thing. I'm sorry for the rant, I just think people should stop shamming fragrances. Some of these "opinions" are nothing more than hurtful words. I've worn this lovely fragrance multiple times and nobody ever tells me, "Girl, ya smell like cat piss." I literally always get compliments wearing this. That being SAID, at the beginning, this fragrance comes off strong, dense and milky, true to its name, honey milk! About 2 minutes in, I get the oats and the vanilla, no coffee!! the fragrance thins out a bit, the scent bubble gets smaller, and sits close to my skin after 10 minutes. But it last a good 6 hours, becoming a predominantly milky vanilla scent. Definitely worth 20 bucks.

Phenomenal at this price point. It’s a photorealistic honey/vanilla that is rich and warm and comforting. Like drinking warm milk with vanilla and a generous squeeze of honey after a long day. Something in the notes occasionally gives me a caramelized scent, almost a honey creme brûlée. I’m obsessed with honey scents and this immediately became one of my favorites. The silage and wear time aren’t amazing, but it is a $20 frag so that’s what I expected.

I bought two of these blind, and I'm glad I did! I get honey & milk- in a way that reminds me of a bar of soap. I'm OBSESSED with those huge bars of soap from TJ Maxx- goats milk/honey are my faves. This compliments those so well, without smelling SOAPY or sticky/foodie like real honey. Very nice. Like a super strong honey-milk shampoo. Rather linear/generic but sillage/longevity seems better than you'd expect!

As far as this scent, it's amazing! Sweet milk and honey. I combine the perfume with the body spray, and it lasts all day on me.

I was soo excited to try this when I saw it, but unfortunately this has a burnt woody note. I'm sure other people would still like it but it's not for me

Smells like BTSO Filthy Musk to me. More honey and less animalic, but that is the match I was racking my brain for. Especially in the dry-down.

I love this scent it reminds me of fresh cream warm cashmere which I absolutely love!with a honey note will be wearing this a lot! Gorgeous!
