Pixie Rose

Take a stroll through your favorite rose garden, a long sensuous, slinky stroll and savor every whiff. The scent is not your tearose but a billion heirloom roses with a splash of green grass. These are the smells some of us grew up with, romping through the city rose garden, playing amongst the blooms. This beauty is the most honest rose I've encountered in ages. I was lucky enough to get a sample, but now want a bathtub full of this elixir/love juice. I applied it last night, this morning I still breathe in it's delights. A room full of roses to the brother that created this masterpiece. Thumbs to the sky!

a very realistic red rose smell. will be great for summer. not heavy or old fashioned. kind of light but not too light. really almost perfect. if you love rose fragrances I am sure you will love this.

I had high hopes for magique's pixie rose, the descriptions and the reviews, it's something I'd usually love. I am so happy I did not blind buy. On my skin I just get a soapy scent, not much else. And I've never had a problem with rose scents before.. Like all the other perfumes from magique it sits very close to the skin and it doesn't last long. I would sample before buying.

Montgomery, Anne of the Island I purchased a bottle of this at Madame Aucoin's in New Orleans (wonderful little spot if you're down there....check it out). I instantly fell in love with this. Is it showy and flamboyant? Nope. It is rather like the most beautiful rose you brush against early in the morning, catching a whiff of it's inner most petals. The violet leaf keeps it fresh and lively, without being sharp...it simply elevates the fragrance and keeps it humming along. The musk is there but is not overly animalic...just a steady base beat to elevate the rose. Perhaps it was the oppressive heat and humidity of NOLA that really made it grab my attention because I was immediately drawn to it, and after purchase, it was liberally applied. My husband kept remarking how lovely I smelled when I fanned myself....it's just a beautiful, elegant scent. It would be great for office too as it is not over the top, if you desire a refresh halfway through the day, just have an atomizer handy. I am pleased I purchased a full bottle...I think it will be in regular rotation this summer...helping bring a little bit of the outdoors in....

As someone who doesn't opt for floral fragrances hardly ever, this is an incredible fragrance. It is one of my favorite roses, hands down. I would not have chosen this fragrance but I was at a really lovely perfumery in New Orleans and I made friends with the woman who worked there and she offered me the rollerball of one of the fragrances from this house. Pixie Rose immediately struck me, heavily. I was surprised since it is rare that a predominantly floral fragrance appeals to me so much. The biggest reason I loved it is because my skin loved it. I couldn't believe how fresh, softly sweet and sexy I smelled with it on. The violet leaf keeps Pixie Rose so bright, and the musk keeps it grounded and warm, and just melts into your skin. This fragrance radiates a soft and whispering caress of rose while still staying so fresh and never going into harsh territories. Most floral fragrances become very sharp on me and this just sang so smoothly. I would definitely love to have another bottle of this in my collection for the days when I feel like a soft and feminine flower, with nothing but love to give.
