Bel Air by Molinard makes me think of the movie Clueless because it smells so Beverly Hills circa 1995! I blind bought this when it first came out because I was purchasing another fragrance from Molinard that I long desired. With all the notes listed I thought there is no way I can’t like such an eclectic blend, right!?....and all I got was mimosa. I am not the biggest fan of mimosa, I have tried a lot of mimosa dominant fragrances and it is a sweet-smelling pollen-looking bright-sunny yellow flower, but it rules the fragrance if you put too much – it masks all of the other lovely florals! It’s preppy, girly, and fun but it’s not the refined floral I was hoping for. If you’re a mimosa lady then this is your baby!

Molinard is a highly qualitative French perfume house with a long-standing tradition, offering both classical and more modern creations. This is a beautiful and non-obtrusive feminine composition standing to its name („Bel Air“ designates an exclusive, prestigious residential area). A cloud of flower petals makes you feel more optimistic and self-assured, as if you were a lucky resident of such place. Couldn't get past the horrid, generic, synthetic, musk note. So I had to sell it. Bumme
