Mirea

I’ve been wanting a Molinard perfume for a while. At first, I was looking for something simple, with a clean structure—like Osmanthus or Figue. But I got curious and tried some of their newer bottles, which are more visually detailed. Mirea caught my attention right away. It feels very summery and modern. It leans toward the current gourmand trend but doesn’t go too far. You get a soft floral-fruity mix that’s sweet, but not too sweet. It doesn’t smell like dessert, which I appreciate. From the first spray, it’s beautiful. It stays quite steady as it develops—no big changes. The lychee note is very realistic. I can also smell the melon clearly. To my nose, there’s also a soft roundness from sugar and vanilla. And all of this, in a powdery composition. It’s a very pleasant scent. Calming, smooth, and it lifts the mood. Projection isn’t super strong (not that I care), and longevity is average (again, who cares, I always re-spray during the day). But as a summer perfume, it works really well. And for the price, it’s excellent. I paid 78 CHF for the 75 ml full size. The bottle is also worth mentioning. The classic Molinard shape/color is already nice, but this one has a stylized pattern on the back that shows through the glass. It looks elegant. The cap is metal, heavy, and the spray is better than average.

Absolutely lovely. Smells like clean floral berries, sweet and fruity in a sophisticated way. There's also some tartness at the very beginning. I'm almost certain that I smell raspberries or red fruits even though they're not listed in the notes. The lady at the Molinard boutique in Nice was very patient with me as I sampled all the beautiful purple bottles from the La Personnelle collection. She thought I'd be a Mirea sort of person, and as soon as I sprayed it on, I couldn't stop smelling my wrist. There's a powderiness to it as well which must be the iris coming through. A very well rounded perfume that becomes even more delicious with time. Edit: I can smell the sweet drydown on my clothes 24 hours later. It's not even faint. Totally impressed with the longevity.

I would summarise this as the scent of the world's most luxurious shampoo. Not to say that it smells soapy, it just has that luxury hair care smell, rather than that of a fruity floral perfume. It has this creamy cloud-like presence. It's fresh and clean, but simultaneously like a warm, comforting cocoon. It's decently long lasting and persistent without ever being too in your face. It's sweet, but the airy fresh quality it has counterbalances it well. It's easy to wear and has become one I can reach for without having to think about it.

Mirea is simply lovely, I consider her to be the sweeter, younger cousin to Nirmala. Opens up with a combination of sweet, watery and slightly green juicy notes. Then it's all toned down to creamy white flowers (I don't detect much rose, if any) with a distinct note of pure white sugar. It stays like that in the drydown - creamy, fresh and sugary, but not gourmand. It retains its cleanliness and never develops into an unpleasant dusty powdery territory.

Bought this perfume blindly based on the notes as I was looking for a floral scent. It smells beautiful! Mellows out into a soft and powdery scent which makes for a great nighttime smell. I also own the Madrigal which is definitely stronger than Mirea, but the plus side is that Mirea is light enough to be worn to work but still leave an impression!

A flamboyant, pink fragrance for those who are secure in their frivolity. Not great for extreme heat because of its vanilla/cotton candy notes, but other than that, it's versatile and signature fragrance worthy, I could wear it to dinner on an outdoor terrace on a summer evening as easily as I could wear it to a glittery New Year party.

This is a carefree scent. To my nose it has raspberry notes and soapy clean fresh notes. I don't think it's appropriate for every occasion, but for day-to-day it's an easy scent to like. It does have something in common with Magnetism by Escada, but they are not identical. Personally I prefer Magnetism, but this is nice too. I love the bottle but I only have a decant :)

Sweet, easy to wear, smells just like a stick of fruity gum. ETA: Now that it's warming up, I'm really loving Mirea. It smells so feminine, flirty and fun without coming off as cheap (not that I don't love my cheapies, this is just a different vibe). A gourmet stick of gum, or radiant and shiny hair washed with the most luxurious shampoo, if you will.

Lovely sweet tropical fruits with slightly soapy white flowers underneath. It smells very cosy: like a clothes hand washed with a high quality French soap. It’s a bit old fashioned but still very joyful. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Juicy lychee opening with a slightly powdery iris base that is quite sweet.

Very nice fruity floral scent that you can almost smell and taste at the same time. I get a juicy fruitiness from litchi with watermelone freshness, the white flowers (fresia, magnolia) come also somewhat fresh through. The dry-down smells to me like a not overly sweet black berries jam with a powdery touch of iris. I love the opening but the whole scent is well done and far from the everyday sugar bombs.
