Apotheose de Rose

Yet another lovely perfume from monotheme,I only recently purchased this and I love it,the only thing to consider if you are thinking about purchasing this perfume yourself is even though it has a rose themed bottle the rose itself is not the main note of this perfume,while you can smell the floral note the fruity notes are more prominent in this fragrance and it’s also has a lovely sweetness to it,it’s definitely not your usual rose fragrance and if you are wanting a rose dominant fragrance you will be dissapointed but if you don’t mind it being fruity fragrance with a hint of rose instead of a powdery rose then you will like this,overall I think it’s a lovely perfume and I’m beginning to become a fan of the monotheme fragrance collection.

Sparkly, fresh and kind of addictive floral scent. A bit too "young" for me but nevertheless with some depth in the dry down. I let it macerate for a week before spraying again and the longevity is pretty decent. My other Monotheme of Venice fragrances perform at beast mode after a couple of months, especially Saffron and Rose Oud. I can still smell it on my clothes after 8-10 hours and more. This one stays close to the skin but with every movement I get a "reminder" of its freshness. I layer it with Amber Wood by Riffs and it becomes a beautiful warm, exciting and more deep scent. For the price it's a gem.

This smells like the lather of rose-water infused soap in the shower. It goes on with a clear, clean rose note - a Turkish or wild rose, as some reviewers say below, not a perfumey heavy rose - and then that fades to a pretty floral soap-scent. Apotheosis is entirely appropriate - the rose note floats away to the heavens after the first 15-30 minutes. The dry-down is clean, it’s soft, it clings to your skin. Imagine you used rose water toner after washing your face, & then instead of fading that note lingered. My favourite ‘clean/fresh’ scent so far as i really don’t like aldehydes.

Update: it’s been a year that this has sat and the rose is very prominent smells fresh and sweet and mellow. This is a scent that smells nice throughout the stages but changes the longer it’s left to sit it’s like a new perfume every three months 😂 New scent and I fell in love straight away. It is fresh and summery, I get a sweet rosey and citrus scent in the beginning then a little bit or a pear note, in the dry down I get light patchouli and a musky cherry and throughout I get a slight creamy vanilla It’s gorgeous. 😍🥰

This is a cheapie gem. It just smells so so good! The powdery opening then quickly turns into creamy rose scent. Yes rose note is noticeable here but it is not overwhelming to other notes. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long on my skin; less than 3hrs but it lasts on my hair I can smell it the next day . Sillage about 2 feets.
