Daisy Daisy

At first there’s the initial scent of daisy but it quickly breaks down into a pretty overpowering apple/green/fruity mix. Once it’s aired out the daisy notes disappear and you’re left smelling like you’ve used an apple scented shampoo. It’s a nice scent but probably something better suited for a reed diffuser than something you would want to wear. Given the price being so affordable I may just find a use for it as an air freshener in some way shape or form.

When I purchased this fragrance, I couldn't remember what Daisies smelt like. One spray and I was instantly transported back to my childhood playing with my sisters in the long grass making Daisy Chains. This fragrance is Daisies and green grass on a beautiful sunny day, Childhood memories, when life was innocent and we were all princesses with Daisy crowns.

Gorgeous fragrance, it's pure daisies with a touch of fruit. I imagine a shy, romantic, pretty woman in a lovely floral dress walking around town in late spring/early summer. Not my cup of tea as I'm into more oriental, deep scents but if you like florals you won't be disappointed.

Very pretty! I have been searching for a Calyx replacement and this isn’t it... but it’s nice. Green but gentle and elegant. Highly worth adding it to the collection. And for the low price of $15 Australian, it’s a very safe bet.

This is a nice, clean, gentle floral / slightly soapy musk bomb on me. Very nice, clean and comforting. Firm like!

Generally I find Monotheme perfumes uncomplicated and pleasing, something light to spray on when I can't decide what I want to wear. I was tempted by Daisy Daisy because it sounded light and gentle. The results were not quite what I expected, the sweet fruit and green notes are very pronounced just after spraying, on drydown there is still a little more fruit than I would like. At first I thought, no, I don't really want to keep this (it was a blind buy, quite a lot of my purchases are!). I tried layering with a little Sweet Violet, at first this toned down the sweetness very pleasantly, but I still get that fruit candy smell coming through - it is very dominant. I will keep this, but I wouldn't buy it again - not that I would need to because I can see this being in my cupboard for some time, waiting for me to wear it again! I would say this one is only about a 4 out of 10 for me, but I will experiment with some more layering.

This is my friend's signature scent. While I prefer more powdery florals on myself, I love smelling this on her. There is a hint of fruit, but (at least on her) it is definitely not a "fruity" fragrance. She loves it because it is light and fresh. I think she always smells like freshly shampooed hair. Not for me personally, but if you like light, clean scents I highly recommend!

bought it on discount, and thought I need to layer with something. this should not go alone. and I just thought, I'm collecting essential oils so... I carefully put this back in the box and gifted to my friend. happy friend, happy me. succesful purchase, 10 out of 10.
