สุคนธกร : Rolph Gasparian โน้ตทางแบรนด์ไม่แจ้งไว้แน่ชัดนะคะ อย่างเวบหลักของแบรนด์ (mavive.com) ก็ระบุไว้แค่ Orange Blossom ซึ่งก็เป็นไปไม่ได้ โก๋เลยรวบรวมจากหลาย ๆ ที่มาให้พิจารณานะคะ อย่างเวบ makeup.uk ก็ระบุไว้อย่างเป็นขั้นตอนตามนี้ค่ะ Top : Bitter Orange Heart : Bitter Orange Base : Orange Leaves แต่เจอในบางที่ก็ระบุว่ามีแค่ Bitter Orange กับ Bitter Orange Blossom เท่านั้น (Fragrantica.com) แต่บางเวบก็วิจิตรพิศดารไปอีกว่ามี Orange Blossom, Orange, Cedarwood (Atlas), Osmanthus, Musk, Woody Notes, Petitgrain และ Green of Tangerine ก็แล้วแต่เพื่อน ๆ จะเลือกก็แล้วกันเนาะ Zagara เป็นภาษาเปอร์เซีย บ้างก็ว่าเป็นภาษาอาหรับแปลตรงตัวว่าดอกไม้สวรรค์ ดอกไม้เล็กๆสีขาว หรือการแบ่งบานก็ได้ค่ะ มาจากคําว่า zahrar / Zahar / Zahr ซึ่งถูกใช้งานและมีความหมายที่ดีในหลากหลายประเทศ เกี่ยวพันกับความบริสุทธิ์ สวรรค์ การครองคู่ ถูกใช้ประดับสวน แต่งกลิ่นอาหาร แต่งเรือนผมเจ้าสาว และแน่นอนว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งโน้ตสําคัญในวงการน้ําหอมค่ะ บางครั้ง Zagara จะหมายถึงดอกของต้นส้มขมเท่านั้น แต่บางที่ยังหมายรวมถึงดอกของต้นไม้ตระกูลซิตรัสทุกชนิดซึ่งให้กลิ่นหอมหวานคล้ายน้ําผึ้ง แต่บอบบางและสดชื่นสะอาดอ่อนโยนไปพร้อมกัน ซึ่งทําให้เรามีน้ําหอมชื่อเดียวกันนี้ในหลากหลายแบรนด์ คล้าย ๆ คําว่า Rose หรือ Lemon นั่นเองค่ะ ไม่ไดเป็นชื่อเฉพาะ ชื่อคนประการใด สําหรับคนที่ใช้น้ําหอมอย่างดุเดือดมายาวนาน ใช้หนัก ใช้เยอะ ใช้แรงติดต่อกันอย่างโก๋ แม้ว่าจะชื่นชม ชื่นชอบน้ําหอมที่คาแรคเตอร์ชัดและจัดจ้านแต่ในตอนนี้โก๋กลับหันมาชื่นชมความงามอย่างเรียบง่ายของดอกส้มอย่างถอนตัวไม่ขึ้นค่ะ คงเริ่มจากการใช้น้ําหอมแบบ Cologne มาก่อนซึ่งน้ําหอมกลุ่ม Cologne นี้มักจะมีดอกส้มเป็นแกนกลางเสมอ ไป ๆ มา ๆ จึงใช้แต่กลิ่นดอกส้มเด่น ๆ ไปเลยให้สิ้นเรื่องค่ะ เช่นเดียวกันกับพระเจ้าหลุยส์ที่ 14 ที่ทรงโสรจสรงน้ําหอมหนัก ๆ มาตลอดพระชมม์ชีพ สุดท้ายก็เสด็จมาสวรรคตรังที่ดอกส้มที่ปลูกรอบพระราชวังแสร์ซายส์นี่เองค่ะ อิอิ โก็เริ่มรู้จัก Zagara จากแบรนด์รักอย่าง Santa Maria Novella (SMN) ก่อนค่ะ รักมากจนถึงขั้นหวงแหนไม่กล้าใช้ เลยมองหา Zagara จากแบรนด์อื่น ๆ มาใช้ค่ะ แล้วเราชอบวิธีการสร้างงานที่ปราณีตแต่ราคาสมเหตุสมผลของ Monotheme อยู่ก่อนแล้วเลยคิดว่ายังไงก็ต้องหามาลองให้ได้ ซึ่งพอได้มาแล้วก็..... ***รักมาก*** ก ไก่ล้านตัวเลยค่ะ อิอิ เพราะ Zagara ของ Monotheme คือความเรียบง่ายที่แสนงามค่ะ กลิ่นออกจะหวานเป็นน้ําตาลทรายขาว น้ําเชื่อมจาง ๆ ปนอยู่กับดอกส้มและผิวส้มเชื่อมที่ตกผลึกน้ําตาลจนขึ้นทรายขาวพราวไปทั้งชิ้น เป็นขนม เป็นลูกอมมากกว่าของ Santa Maria Novella ค่ะ ที่สําคัญคือในช่วงปลายกลิ่นไม่ออกเป็นสบู่ หรือแป้งให้แห้งจมูกค่ะ ยังคงความหวานอมเขียวสดชื่นอยู่ได้ แม้จะบางจางลงไปมาก ถ้าให้เทียบกับของ SMN นั้นโก๋รู้สึกว่า SMN เมื่อกลิ่นเปิดจะออกขมเขียวสมุนไพรซาบซ่าเป็นทางถนัดของบ้านเขามากกว่า แม้ว่าจะคงความหวานเจือน้ําผึ้งใส ๆ อ่อน ๆ ตามคาแรคเตอร์ของดอกส้ม แต่ดอกส้มของ SMN จะให้ความรู้สึกหวานเชื่อมน้อยกว่า ให้ความเป็นธรรมชาติมากกว่า ปรุงแต่งน้อย และสมจริงค่ะ แต่ของ Monotheme จะสุกใสเจือกลิ่นสุกหวานคล้ายผลไม้รสเปรี้ยวที่ถูกเชื่อมหรือลอยแก้ว แช่อิ่มมากกว่า ให้ภาพความอ่อนในและเยาว์วัยมากกว่า แต่ก็ยังเจือกลิ่นขมเขียวสะอาดสดชื่นเป็นธรรมชาติของกิ่งก้านใบต้นส้มมาร่วมด้วย ไม่ใช่หวานดอกส้มประการเดียวนะคะ และก็ไม่ออกสกปรกหรือแฝงกลิ่นคาวอินโดลิค หรือสาบแห้งแบบน้ําผึ้งเก่าเลย บรรยากาศกลิ่นจึงเป็นยามเช้าท่ามกลางสวนต้นส้มหยาดน้ําค้างที่มีเด็กวิ่งเล่นสนุกสนาน แต่อย่างที่บอกไปนะคะ เมื่อเข้าสู่ช่วงท้ายทั้ง 2 กลิ่นไม่ให้ความรู้สึกแห้งลง จะยังคงความเขียว ความหวานสะอาด ทนนานกว่าที่คิด และค่อยล่องหนหายไปในเวลาราวครึ่งวันค่ะ รักมาก ชอบมาก เหมาะกับอากาศบ้านเรามาก ยุบไปเยอะมาก ไม่อยากเลิกใช้ค่ะ ทุกเพศ ทุกวัย ทุกวัน ทุกคนใช้ได้ค่ะ เสริมภาพความสดชื่นแบบระเบิดความสดใสและสะอาดราวกับพึ่งไปลุยน้ําฝนปนน้ําตกให้รัศมีสีขาว สีเหลืองอ่อน สีเขียวกระจ่าง ขอให้สนุกกับกลิ่นหอมนะคะ

It opens with a bright, photorealistic, orange peel top note and then begins to morph into a beautiful orange blossom. Its like a sugared orange peel - absolutely amazing. I sprayed it on a test strip and came back 6 hours later to the floral dry down, still strong and present. I will be doing a wear test, to test the longevity, but so far, so good!

A lovely slightly sweet, but rather bittersweet summer cocktail, very mediterranean and SCREAMS summer holiday! Simple, refreshing, uplifting! Apart from the obvious citrus there's an inderlying burnt sugar thing, but it could be just my skin..I really like it and need it, if not for the summer bygone but the upcoming ones!

Shit! I'm a middle-aged man and I love this stuff. It is sweet with a little bit of bitterness, sharp and lasts for ages. Proper piece of the Med in a bottle. Very simple notes but there is a saltiness to go with the citrus, like the sea kissing your skin. Going on holiday soon and this stuff is packed!

was in Seville this past spring and wanted a fragrance that smelled like the air of Seville: this is what I found. Overall a true orange blossom fragrance that focuses on the bright, almost sugary, candied edge in its first hour.

The juiciest, most beautiful orange blossom scent I've smelled in a long time. It's so refreshing, zesty and juicy. I LOVE it!

This seems more orange juice than orange blossom, to my nose. 🤷🏼

this is absolutely amazing. it’s such a yummy orange blossom.

It's orange with two nuances - green bitterness and very subtle soapiness. I see what people who said it was like Perdizione meant. They share a similar bitter opening, moving to orange blossom and sweeter base, but Perdizione is much sweeter, more refined/smooth and definitely longer lasting. It is also similar to M. Micallef's O Feminin, especially in the opening and this soapy accord somewhere in the background. My only problem with Zagara is that is very weak. I'll give it a chance to maturate - as all Monotheme fragrances need that. For the price, I see it as a good refresher after the shower and perhaps something to revive the bitter accent in my Perdizione when it's in the drydown phase.

It opens with a nice fresh and bitter orange scent. It dries down quickly to a sweet and bitter orange candy scent, however it is too sweet for me, giving me a headache if I keep smelling it. The longevity is great, however its became the downside that I don't like the smell when it dries down.

imagine its a hot summer, and you went to Europe for a trip. then an old European lady invites you to sit in her garden and drink some lemonade. her garden is fill with colourful flowers with orange trees. you take a sip of that lemonade and smell your surroundings. this is what it smells like.

It smells of orange flowers, exactly orange blossoms, it is like being under orange trees, it is a wonderful fragrance, very feminine fresh and sunny. Unfortunately it doesn't last, it disappears very fast...

Bitter orange and orange blossom in a bottle, with a hint of soap, all in most fresh way possible. This is quite luxurious scent, regardless the price.

Photorealistic orange juice with your continental breakfast while staying in a warm summer European hotel

Very sweet, sugary candied orange peel. I am a neroli /orange blossom lover and Zagara is indeed the italian name for orange blossom. Let me tell you the name in this case is misleading. I was expecting to bathe in a neroli based cologne... alas, it was not the case. This is all about orange. Orange juice, orange peel, sweet orange. I love oranges but here i feel it's s bit too confectionary for my taste. A dead ringer for Cologne Aimable (long time discontinued Couvent des Minimes edt, that reached a cult status, i own a 250 ml bottle). Reminds me also of Bond NY Little Italy and the Initial part of SL Mandarine Mandarin. Not a big deal as the price is so cheap that you can use it as a room freshener, but I discovered it layers well with dryer/sharper citrus based or masculine colognes, tending to give up its sweetness and rebalancing some dry/bitter frags.

A true orange scent, initially bitter but then softening, surely be wonderful for summer, but I wish I could love perfumes like this more It definitely lasts longer than you might think.

I'm from Seville, the Spanish city of orange blossom. I bought this perfume with great enthusiasm, because when it's first sprayed, it smells of orange blossom, of fresh, ripe orange, even with bitter notes of crushed orange tree leaves, standing out for its completely natural fragrance. In a store, when you spray it on paper, this could make you think you've found a hidden gem, and that's why I bought it. The problem is that, after about ten minutes, it starts to develop into a sweet scent on the skin, which, as the hours pass, ends up transforming into an artificial smell like cheap orange air freshener or some kind of cloying candy. If it maintained the initial aroma, for me it would be an outstanding unmatched product, but I can't stand the scent it becomes, which is why I didn’t use my bottle longer than a couple weeks.

This is completely unisex folks.the opening reminds me of a biscuit you can buy in Greek bakers flavoured with maybe orange blossom water and then covered in icing sugar. It's a beautiful confection and I'm glad the opening of zagara is redolent of it. A beautiful scent perfect for spring and summer days.

Attractive orange in all its nuances. Alas, does not last. After shower spray, or room brightener, and pay under 10E in my opinion. I decanted and added glycerine and a touch of mint for a splash, which is really what this is. ACQUA COLONIA Blood Orange & Basil Eau de Cologne is a real fragrance.

Fresh and slightly sweet. I can clearly smell the orange blossom. It’s a bit bitter but still very pleasant it’s a great choice if you are looking for a fresh, clean floral for summer.
