The real shame is that something like this gets zero attention from people in general - a completely overlooked scent. What they did with this is something special. Its piercing opening - almost like a fougere - which morphs into a semi sweet, smooth, warm scent. Amazing. Performance is insane - 1 spray. This is a perfect example of a masculine scent done right.

Second update 8 months in: this is a masterpiece and is so unique. Update: A few months in, this is one of the most amazing openings of all! The dry down is very akin to a higher quality Polo Ralph Lauren and is also awesome Amazing! So classy! Open for a few seconds like the mystical Polo Green but then goes into different territories. Beautiful!

I really like this. One of my favourites from the house. Very fresh opening with green and metallic notes. It then settles into the boozy, woody and leather notes. Well blended and not overbearing. Leaning masculine. Can easily be worn all year round, but perfect for Spring/Fall. Average performance and sillage. Scent - 9/10 Performance - 6/10

A fantastic green tobacco fragrance (meaning green with tobacco, as well as green tobacco leaves). It's a masterpiece for me, very unique, and as such, not a crowdpleaser. Average.good performance, and very happy with my blind buy, and at $40 shipped on ebay, it smells even better :) Moderate days, 30+

Smells of old money...not literally but figuratively. I feel like only men who own lots of assets, properties and are responsible for paying people's salaries can wear this fragrance. It's not my wheelhouse - too serious for me as a tobacco-focused scent but it's hard not to appreciate what was accomplished here. I get two distinct phases. First is a mouth-watering, wet green-leafy aroma..like wet green tobacco leaves...very fresh and energizing with a noticeable metallic tinge. This lasts for maybe 30minutes at most. Then it transitions to something more "old-money-ish"...smells like a combination of cigarette lighter fluid, green tobacco leaves, Old spice and light, slightly sweet floral. Very well put together...it just suits a particular clientele which is I believe what the perfumer was going for. Yes, it's not for me because I'd gravitate towards Montabaco Intensivo or Dusita Issara as my favourite fresh tobacco-based scents...but this one would qualify if I was in a much higher "power-play" position in life.

A lovely jumble of pleasantly riotous green notes: the woody, green zest of bergamot; the almost piney herbaceousness of rosemary; the lemon-drop tang of verbena; and a touch of prickly tomato leaf. The leather and tobacco notes are supple and mildly-tannic, giving the composition a mulchy richness, like dark, chocolatey earth. It's like a spring herb garden on a warm day after a stormy night. The wind and the rain have churned up the earth a bit, and a half-rotten branch from one of the old trees has come down near the fence-line, doing fragrant violence to one of the herb beds. I like this quite a lot. I find it darker and more complex than Eris Green Spell. Maybe halfway between Green Spell and Agatho 195 a.C., which is more piercing and crunchy in its greenness, but is still in a similar vein.

This one was a bit puzzling. The description said "leather, tobacco, coffee, cognac" but the overwhelming note I detect is greenness and freshness. Quite the opposite of the image being drawn by the description. The coffee comes across more like green coffee than roasted. Nevertheless it is quite a nice fragrance that I tried before reading the description, luckily.

Very nice fragrance, smell a little bit too much like Irish Spring at the begining but it dries down nicely to a green fragrance with woddy tobbaco undertones. I wont buy a full bottle tho. 7/10.

It’s a metallic mineral citrusy wood fragrance on me. The Tabacco and leather aspect is very subtle and elegant. 8/10

Would be good for an office scent for a guy who wants to be a little different but not too much. Fresh clean out of the shower but with a light tobacco and herbal green twist alongside it. The rest of the notes and the name seem more to set the scene, I don't get coffee or cognac from this myself. Last a long time, but the deeper drydown pulls more of the metallic notes and starts to feel a little cheaper imho. It takes quite a while before that happens to its credit though. It was nice to try in the heat of summer, but not bottle worthy for me.

This is a baked version of Bertrand Douchafour's Renegade. Some aspects are really identical. Just looking at the notes, one would surmise that this fragrance is warm. You got the green notes on one side and then you have tobacco, woody notes, coffee beans, cognac, amber and leather on the other side. This is like a 1 versus 6 situation and the green note is absolutely holding its own causing the whole fragrance to appear somewhat "brown." Searching for the prominent note on my skin is akin to a battle royal. The marriage of notes are blended evenly and to fulfillment. For 90 bucks, this smells like a niche that matters. I can see why this is a big deal for those that own it.

First on,after making a wet spot onmy hand, this is 100% leaf. I’m guessing the fig, but it’s the true smell of sap when you have snapped the stem of something. Then the cedar comes in but doesn't eclipse the green samp. It continues to develop, smoothing out and becoming more cool and lotion-like. That 'lotion' feel might be their version of amber. The green resinous sap is still present through all of this until full dry down, when it’s mostly cedar and a touch of that thin green sap. the only downside is that it’s such a sheer fragrance: It feels like this stuff is watered down. Shame because it's quite lovely.

I recently got a sample of this and adore it. It is incredibly sexy and is definitely a unisex scent. When I first apply, I get a tobacco-medicinal-boozy blast. I don't get much coffee but it is warm and spicy without being overwhelmingly heavy. The green notes keep it relatively light. I have only applied directly on skin rather than spraying, but this way it doesn't have great lasting power, which is unfortunate. Once I drain the sample, I'll likely get a full bottle- this is a perfect fall scent.

I find this juice to be absolutely spectacular. It grabs my attention and holds it so that I ask myself What is going on here, what is that that I am smelling. It dances around all over the place. When I think I have identified a note, another one just pops out and my olfactory senses go crazy. A sheer delight of a fragrance. So lively and captivating. Intoxicating.
