Aoud Jasmine

I think I found the oud of my dreams. I was desperately looking for a floral, very feminine scent with a noticeable oud note that isn't overtaken by roses, and Aoud Jasmine is just that. The oud is clean and woodsy, but not sterile or harsh. There is a smidgen of dewy rose, but not enough to make this similar to the thousands of rose/oud combos on the market. There is much more jasmine than rose, it's creamy white floral heaven. Apples, pears and mandarines swirl together as a refreshing fruity accord that adorns the jasmine. The base is powdery and slightly warm with a hint of musk, pleasantly sweet without turning into candy territory. So, Aoud Jasmine is exactly what I imagined from the listed notes. This is perfect for me and I really want a bottle. I think it can be worn year round on almost any occasion. It's intense and lasting, but not overwhelmingly so, fresh enough for summer and warm enough for winter. I love it!

To think that I received a full bottle of this from one of my friends and refused to take it, shocks me. She hated the smell and gave it to me; I hated the smell and did not want it, but my friend being my friend, insisted and I could not say no to her. It sat at the bottom of my drawers, at the back of my collection and it has been disliked for more than one year; until one evening when I decided to give it try. Ofc I over-sprayed it like I always do (genuine mistake in most cases) and chose the wrong time for it as I was attending an event, and boy it was intoxicating! People were literally staying away from me and, while I noticed the behaviour, I did not know why until my bf broke the news to me. It really is laughable, but also that was the time I started to appreciate this fragrance. It is definitely an evening fragrance for colder months in small dosage; I repeat, small dosage. Enjoy!

Beautifully blended of all accords, this little gem smells just like a lychee cocktails while sipping it under the twilight. It projects me to the peaceful evening during twilight, you sit there surrounding by apple trees mingling with your friends. The wind gently wraps around you, you try to fix back your hair and suddenly jasmine petals fall into you. I love how pear, green apple, rose and jasmine open such an inviting to the enchanted oud forest. After 3 - 4 hours, the oud emerges secretly to surprise you! The oud scent is so feminine yet innocent. I always love to sniff my wrist after it dries down. I always love this and Aoud Lagoon (Lagoon has osmanthus - my favor floral scent). Somehow it reminds me the same sister in the same house of Montale, the opening is so similar to Aoud Lagoon but Lagoon has more tropical side than Aoud Jasmine. It's such a lovely fragrance, a good redemption from Wild Pears. It's a soft scent of jasmine and musk with hints of apple keeping it bright. This was partially a blind buy since I love Jasmine but was lowkey scared of Oud. I may have a hard time liking scents but this is the one I've worn the most since I've gotten it. I'm always on the hunt for gentle sweet scents that aren't overpowering; this is everything I've searched for. As usual, the longevity is amazing since it's Montale, only 2 to 3 sprays are enough to last a whole day. And by whole day I mean easily 9-12 hours. The only downside is that the quality of the bottle feels cheap and lightweight, really lightweight. Almost as if the bottle isn't filled to the top, only 1/5.

I adore this fragrance. It's a unique take on jasmine. The oud is just a support player here and just that's fine. I enjoy the citrus opening and on me, the jasmine remains a star player from start to finish. The citrus/jasmine/oud makes this easy to wear in the spring, summer, day and night. Living in Florida, I appreciate this kind of versatility. The longevity and sillage are monsters so a little bit goes a long way because over spraying will make this fragrance turn into something unpleasant. If you're into jasmines like I am, I consider this a safe blind buy since the oud isn't prominent.

I absolutely love this fragrance! Its a fresh,fruity,jasmine scent. If you love jasmine don't even think about it..get it! Montale& Mancera have some of the best quality fragrances from the scent,to price,down to the bottle&atomizer. You have to get your nose on their fragrances something for everyone and all are beast mode fragrances.

Jasmine - apple - rose - pear - musk .... What's not to love? The oud is there but is not skanky and adds depth. The mandarin orange opens strong but fades to the background after an hour. Typical Montale.... longevity is great and sillage is strong. This one, for me is a 10/10.

The initial spray is marvelous - and light - but the dry-down is simply amazing. Sweet but not suffocating or cloying, and light but not in a - so-to-say - fashionable way.

This is beautiful, I wanted it from the moment It launched. I have been on the search for a jasmine and oud combo without rose. Tried Alien Oud, which is very nice, and Al Khatt by Xerjoff ( quite overbearing oud but the jasmine was beautiful, similar to Alien's jamsine) but Jasmine Aoud is even better from all the above. It opens up with a non indolic jasmine, freshened by green, juicy apple and a hint of pear. I think I can also smell orange blossom that gives a clean vibe to the opening phase. The oud is soon added, but not too skanky or overbearing , very in tune with the idea behind the fragrance and the colourful appearance of its bottle. This is a youthful, mild oud, graced with fresh flowers and lush fruits. Love it. Suited to all happy, young at heart perfume lovers! PS: doing a wrist to wrist comparison with Bond Dubai Indigo. They are in the same vein, the latter being way less charming, perhaps more suited to winter time or to more masculine fragrance aficionados. For me Aoud Jasmine is a personal best:)

Wow this one is strong as hell on the test strip. I'm being kicked in the jaw by it. I get a very prominent green apple with pear not far behind it. The jasmine is intertwined with the apple, giving it a sweet floral tinge. There's a smidge of rose hiding in the background but it's quiet. I don't get any orange out of this composition, if it's there it's being assimilated by the apple to give it some tartness. I'm not getting much oud here compared to other Montales (Oudmazing has a much more noticeable oud, for example). This oud is just there to provide some depth to the composition, it's not skanky or loud. Maybe it will emerge more in the drydown. I'll be honest i have to stop whiffing my strip now because i feel a headache coming on. This one seems especially potent compared to other montales. It's fruity and floral, quite sweet. Super femme and ideal for spring/fall i think, when it's not quite hot out but not quite cold out. Could possibly get cloying in summer given how insanely powerful it is.

I get a strong blast of the apple at first very juicy & crisp..hate to say I don't detect much Aoud but I still know it's there lurking in the background giving this gorgeous floral fruity cocktail a little depth. Leans imo more to the feminine side so I passed my sample to my mother. In all quite enjoyable with what you receive say even blind buy worthy, but don't expect too much Aoud.

Fruity and bright jasmine with a teeny bit of oud. It's nice but I actually wish I could get more oud.

I was a bit scared of the oud, but it's actually not so strong and it doesn't smell animalic like I thought it would. It's actually a very sweet and fruity fragrance and the jasmine is prominent. I'm still on the fence about it though, because I do like it more than I thought I would, but it's a bit too sweet, can be kind of cloying.

This is nice but I always struggle with pear notes as it often sweetens too synthetically. The dry-down is a sweet violet-candy type of musk. There are better jasmines out there as I think the pear in the dry-down takes this to a sweeter fizzy-sherbet place than I’m happy with.

I had high hopes for Aoud Jasmine... but I'm disappointed. The opening isn't really fruity for me, or even citrusy. I'm not sure where the tops went. I didn't get any of them. So it just starts out as a woody jasmine, from what I can tell. It dries down to something very nice... for a MAN! All afternoon I've been thinking that I'm around a nice-smelling man... and then I realize it's me!! I'll probably give the rest of the sample to my hubby and I definitely won't be buying a FB.

Oud and apple and pear. Yes. At least listed. However, oud cannot be perceived, pear very much so, and to me, at least, freesia... I know, there is no freesia in it. To me, however, so it seems that there is something like that in it. Jasmine is beautiful and heavenly in this fragrance, and very likely to become a signature for me. TBH, I cannot imagine a man wearing this at all. So womanly.

Very fresh fruity floral with Oud cutting through lightly. A unique vibe to it, quite beautiful and opulent in what it has achieved.

Oud and Apple .... In the same frag? I love Oud but that's a little bit too risque for me to spend this much on a bottle. Hmmmm.
