Rendez-vous à Milan

This could be a tropical flanker to Intense Café! It smells very Montale, with the same coffee note as Intense Café, the characteristic rose note that I would describe as hot pink and metallic, and a base of creamy white musk and vanilla. The rose is toned down in comparison to IC and other Montales though. If you find Montale scents screechy, this won't be the exception. Luckily I don't have this problem and generally enjoy Montale. Rendez-vous a Milan is a really nice addition to the lineup. Besides the notes I mentioned above, I get a lot of the yellow fruit notes they added. To me it mainly smells like mango, with a touch of peach and orange. I sometimes find mango notes too sour, but this one is sweet and juicy like a perfectly ripe mango. The basil note is subtly blended into the fruits, so this isn't a very green or herbal scent. I'm a big fan of Intense Café, but I wouldn't wear it in summer. This could work on summer nights and basically year round. The fresh tropical fruits make it different enough from other IC-like fragrances, and it simply smells very uplifting and good.

Now this is niche. Very original scent. Rendez-vous a Milan is like nothing that I have ever smelled before, not even similar to anything. The opening is very unique and (to my nose) not in a good way. I was ready to cast it off as a regret buy, but wait for about five minutes and this strange coffee with basil smell goes away revealing a very refreshing and pleasant scent. This fragrance will be very refreshing in the spring and summer, but is also bright and catchy in winter. It performed surprisingly well on my cool skin and in cold weather making any day instantly brighter, just get past those first five minutes that (to me) are pretty unpleasant. To me this leans feminine. I have tried this on my husband and we both agree that it smells way better on a woman, but I think some men will be able to rock this fragrance as well. Very unique and not a safe blind buy. Test first and give it some time, do not cast off based on the first few minutes.

One of the best fragrances I have bought lately. The basil is the great power in this composition. The coffee and rose are more on the back ground. Beautiful Caramel in the drydown. Totally unisex. Performance and longlivety is good, not too strong, but acceptable.

this actually lasts 10 to 12 hours with 3 sprays, godly projection at first but kinda falls out after a few hours, fills up rooms almost immediately on the first hours though , one of my favorite fragrances rn

Opens very, very green, like rose leaves and stems green, then transitions to basil with a little sweetness, then I get the spices, much later comes the coffee. I don’t care for the opening. After that it is a very pleasant fragrance that evolves nicely. But it is delicate and feminine not unisex. I want to smell this on my wife, not me.
