Emblem

I love all of the notes in this. I love clary sage and grapefruit in the top. I LOVE Violet. I like cinnamon when it is done right. I love tonka. I love woods. I liked this scent immediately, it was love at first scent. Easily. The violet is an icy smelling violet that mixes with the cinnamon to create a floral-sweetness. The drydown is the mixture of the vanilla-like tonka, whatever woods there are, and that floral cinnamon vibe remains prominent. The violet really is the star throughout at stays with you. It's not a fragrance that many would dislike, but if you are not a violet fan then I would not recommend it. It may not be groundbreaking, but I was looking for a mass appealing designer frag that isn't very well known but still remains unique. This really fit the bill for me. Montblanc make good fragrances. They quality is there for the price. They won't be the best fragrance you own, but they work very well. It is basic, it is not anything too different, it is easy to like, easy to wear, will work in all weather, and can definitely be an excellent signature scent. Any age range can rock this because clary sage and violet aren't so "youthful". This just kinda stands out in the cheaper designer realm. The icy violet is cool, must be the clary sage? cardamom? I know not much. People saying this has no longevity are crazy, I've gotten 5-6 hours at least on my skin with fairly good projection. I haven't tested it longer but it lasts on my skin. So whatever Extremely versatile and it might even get you laid

Me gusta mucho esta fragancia, la he comprado ya unas 5 veces, es mi vieja confiable. En lo personal la considero una fragancia todo-terreno, la suelo ocupar para el dia a dia, pero definitivamente la he ocupado también para citas y si me funciona. Me gusta lo reconfortante que se siente, es una fragancia calentita, elegante, que proyecta seguridad, es fresca, masculina y que además da una vibra nocturna media misteriosa (no se, siento que lo picante aporta en ese sentido) Las unicas cosas malas que tengo que destacar es que se siente algo sintetica y que ademas no esta hecha para destacar sobre otras, sin embargo por el precio que tiene y lo versatil y rica que es yo la recomiendo totalmente, si me ha dado cumplidos, es facil de usar y a la gente le va a gustar. Entiendo que hayan personas que la critiquen porque no es un olor complejo o de estos full llamativos, el gran contra que tiene es de hecho ese, que no va a destacar sobre otros perfumes, aun asi el olor a mi me fascina, lo que mas destaco es lo reconfortante que se siente. Solida fragancia para todo tipo de ocaciones

I came across Mont Blanc's Emblem fragrance in the Sephora stores and I rushed immediatly to it. I have read a couple of reviews stating that I would be dissapointed with this one and I had to make sure. I picked up the bottle (beautiful bottle it is, I would buy the fragrance just for the bottle) and applied two sprays to my skin. Once I tried it, it reminded me a little of Paco Rabanne's Invictus but it quickly changed to a softer version of 212 VIP Men by Carolina Herrera. I love 212 VIP Men and I instantly thought: "This would be a fine replacement for 212 VIP Men". It smelled really woodsy and spicy and I couldn't stop sniffing it. I probably am going to buy this one but I will wait for September/October. One final thing came to mind: if the bottle in black is beautiful, and I mean B-E-A-Utiful (!), I can't wait to see the Intense version of the bottle. Seriously guys, give this one a try :)

Interesting scent but yes it has done before. What I find interesting about it is the floating oud - woody notes that are present but always changing throughout the wear. The frozen violet doesn't seem so frozen to me and comes across as dirty n' woody which I like. I had bought Lacoste White, Only the Brave, The One, Decibel and Guess Seductive and will only keep OTB and The One. Emblem can replace all of them as my preferable sweet smell. When smelling invictus and eros, 1 million I bought this. Overall, a big Like! (not love) but definitely like a lot. Long lasting - 8hrs on clothes after 1 spray; and very easy/comfortable to wear. Gets compliments from my lady too.

This one has always been a strange one.. it's extremely simplistic yet unsual to decipher It's definitely a fresh and cold fragrance that is dominated by sweet and spicy accords. The main note being violet leaf giving off that typical freshness and slight Icy quality alongside a somewhat sweet Cinnamon, lots of tonka bean all over the fragrance It's got such a mushy formed smell. The notes don't really stand alone, they all combine to make a general smell, yet this is the beauty with this one. It's simple but simple done well. The only critique I have of this is that it just doesn't have good performance, that's about it. Otherwise it's amazing
