Emblem Intense

This has been my only fragrance for around 5 years, after I picked it up from a duty free in Qatar airport. I used it all year round and I always got good sillage and medium longevity, maybe in winter it did a little better but it was in no way a poor performer in warm weather. Its fruity scent with just the right amount of sweetness and freshness has been my trusted buddy in various climates over the years and has never let me down. I wore this scent in the cold and warm days of eastern Europe, in the tropical melanesian climate of Vanuatu and in the winter days in Nanjing, China. The fragrance went bad after about 5 years, I could no longer smell the top and some of the middle notes and it stopped projecting like it used to. But after this long amount of time since the first spray, there is nothing bad to say about it, especially since it was down to the last few millilitres when it happened. Thinking back, this has been all I needed to smell nice a few years back. Now I've hoarded all these 100 ml bottles of fragrances that I will never get the chance to wear out before they go bad and I'm not smelling much better than I used to when it was just me and this trusted buddy of mine. What a silly game I got myself into!

I was at the shop, and that night I tried Lolita Lempicka and this one. At the beginning I like Lolita Lempicka better, but then I felt that strong anise smell, and everything stopped there. I don't like anise at all. Then I tested these one, looking to get rid of the anise smell. I liked it. I did`t think it for long enough and I purchased a bottle of this nice scent. It is nice, but next day I felt kind of regretful, because it is a really good smell, but I don`t find it as elegant as the Mont blanc's Legend scents, which I really like. I smelled it many times trying to justify the money payed. So, did it worth it? In my opinion no. Do I enjoy it? I couldn't say no either. Definitely it is way much nicer when it dries down. It projects rather good. You can feel the lemon, a touch of sweetness and grape or something. Nice, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Montblanc Emblem Intense is a really excellent fragrance indeed. Montblanc is one of my favourite houses and the Emblem line are my favourite in the house. However, Intense is for me personally has the edge over the Black original and Absolute. I say orginal but they all came out at the same day I believe, and Intense I use far more then the other two which are also excellent fragrances. I really love this one and for me longevity is good, and projection is average around arms length. It's a compliment getting and I have hesitation no to claim Intense as my signature scent. A really beautiful smelling fragrance that I highly recommend. A must have in a fragrance collection!

2nd comment, How can this be better than average on longevity and projection and others say performance is really bad? Well one can be skin chemistry, but those who spray on clothes and says it does not last, this has to be a counterfeit or just a bad batch. I have gotten burnt 2X buying colognes, some are so close you could not tell from the packaging but it was obvious when it came to the juice. Even some of the cheapest legit colognes last more than 20-30 minutes. I would say to those who are experience poor performance you may want to switch buying resources. This Montblanc Emblem Intense performs well and is a pleasant well balanced scent.

This is almost a perfect fragrance for me as far as smell goes. It's sweet and it's fresh without being overbearing. It's very pleasant as far as smell goes. This for me is one of those fragrances that goes better on clothes if you want better longevity but smells great on my skin also. This could be anything from a gym scent to a date night scent. It's an all-around good fragrance for any occasion. I imagine women would like this and the bottle is really cool as well. This is a great blind buy if you like sweeter men's fragrances.

I just received my bottle of Montblanc Emblem Intense in the mail and it was a blind buy, I would say a successful blind buy because I like the scent profile. It's fruity and pleasant in the opening and not overbearing but I want to give it some full wearing to really appreciate it and gauge its performance and longevity. I only purchased this after carefully trying out the original Emblem and its 2 flankers. In my opinion, this is the best of the lot. Emblem was just OK while Emblem Absolu smelled a bit too sweet, Emblem Intense is really great if you want something different to use during fall and winter. It smells fruity, fresh and lively, nothing like the stereotypical winter scents. The silver bottle complements this product well. Definitely my 2nd favourite Montblanc fragrance after the gorgeous Starwalker.

Great fragrance. yes, it does have that mass appealing clean/metalic accord to it. but the sweetness from the fruits and the rose balance it out very nicely. and for anyone wondering the rose doesn't come off as a strong rosey note, it just provides a sweetness with the tonka bean. I also smell a fresh cucumber-like note, which adds a bit of uniqueness to this mass appealing DNA. Emblem intense makes a great everyday fragrance.

Amazing scent, a prominent and very nice fruity apple note but not too sweet. Also a nice spicy, cinnamon. When it's dried down it almost reminds me of an apple and cinnamon pie with a side of eggnog but not too heavy, you could get away with a couple spays of this stuff in warm weather and it wouldn't offend anyone. I got a great deal on 60ml bottle for $15 shipped, but you can find it easily for about $25. 8/10

This fragrance is so good! even now after many many years it is still signature worthy. I use it during summer, though i am mostly indoors. it smells really classy, it projects pretty well and for me it does last! This is already my second bottle, i do think the first batch was a little more potent but this new batch which i got is no slouch either. scent is 10/10 overall this fragrance is 9/10 cheers!

Montblanc can go in many directions, most of their colognes all smell good to awesome but some last better and project better, this one smells great and has better than average performance. Emblem Intense is good for any occasion or time of the year, to me it even has a slight resemblance to Acqua di Gio. Not exactly the same but similar. You could blind buy this and really not be disappointed.

cinnamon upfront for me, with smokey and rosey notes, maybe hints of apple or similar sour fruits as described here, with more time passing the cinnamon and sourness starts fading, giving way to the flowers and really pleasant sweetness, definitely dig this enough to consider buying a full bottle. masculine through and through but soft enough to not scream of pure testosterone

Had this on my hand for about 6 hours now and it still is strong, i was unsure of what i would feel about this as i love the original. They do share some similarities but this one is more metallic and the other is more sweet, but i cant stop myself from smelling it, i do like this fragrance, sure thers better out there but i think this one is underrated, at least try it..

I have been a big fan of Mont Blanc fragrances, in particular the legend line so I gave this one a chance as a blind buy. it was a great choice. If this is what the Emblem line is like, I am going to collect all three. The price is amazing! Great quality for even a higher price. Great blind buy! The only drawback is that it doesn't last as long as the legend line does.

It's really good. I bought because I like Montblanc perfumes and this is awesome. It has some different opening notes to it depending on the time of year and climate. It has some metallic sense in first but also fresh, fruity, sweet and warm in the same time. Like this a lot.

This is definitely a strong party fragrance and something that will get you noticed just like Emblem and Emblem Absolu. This has great projection like the other two flankers and really smells great plus the bottle is awesome! I give this a 9.4/10

ah yes that edt that makes my transmasc euphoria go absolutely wild. fresh, spicy, masculine and strong. generic but not too generic, there are some very unique facets in this. all year, all day.

Hot tip: Al Ibdaa Silver by Ard Al Zaafaran is a super close and budget friendly clone of this fragrance and it smells divine on my Hubby. Picked it up for $24 AUD from Perfumes Dubai.

Just got this one a couple days. It's great and very long lasting. Reminds me of original Paco XS.

I've written a review on the OG black flanker. The thing is even it's the same family and therefore similar scents, this is like an older, more mature brother, furthermore, there are noticeable differences. First of all, I like the opening of this much more than the Emblem. I don't know what gives it, either the new rose accord(I can't detect it though) or the apple, whatever it is, makes it much better. Another thing is it's even spicier. When a fragrance has cinnamon and cardamom together, it usually gives spice market or gourmand, Christmas-like festive pastry feeling. This is rather far from that. Emblem Intense is a manly, spicy-aromatic perfume for preferrably autumn and winter weather. It's not fouguere (you should really do a research about what it means), but it's masculine. Maybe not a polarising bomb, seductive and (pardon my French) a 'panty-dropper", not at all, but does its job as much as it offers. Brilliant execution. May not put a smile on a connoisseur's face, but won't make him mad either. The bottle is nicer as well. Plus, it has the same astonishing, noteworthy pulverising sprayer. You need to keep this quite a distance away from yourself to see the effect. This also blends seamlessly when layering with its younger sibling. Together they perform quite remarkably as a twin duo. Lastly, I've been seeing discontinuation complaints about it a lot, and it says "it was last marketed"on other platforms too, so I will try to have at least one backup whenever I can.

Well this is a pleasant surprise! Admittedly I'm not sure if it's quite my style. However the longer I wear it the more I appreciate it. Most definitely on the sweeter side of things but I don't find it cloying at all (cool winter day & evening). I don't remember if I tried the original so can't compare but yes it does recall a couple of scents by Paco Rabanne, I find this one more pleasant though, to me it could be unisex, particularly early on in the dry down, perhaps not so much later on. Above average sillage & projection for me and I can still smell it on my skin almost 8 hours on (and I've washed my where I sprayed a few times too). A good youthful sweet scent, like I said probably not my thing but it's a solid fragrance, smells great (if not groundbreaking) with decent performance. I much prefer this to Individuel, which I used to own, but for me Legend Spirit and Legend Intense remain the best Montblanc scents.

I really appreciate this scent. At this price point it's very good value for money. What I like is the fruitiness at the start. But this clearly has a very gorgeous spicy drydown . The cinnamon and nutmeg give that. But I think the suede and Tonka bean combo really make this unique From my other reviews, you will know the only way 1 Million comes near my body is via torture, but this is definitely not that abomination to mankind. It's more akin to an older school of scents. Good on a winter's day

Had a chance to sample this in a store. VERY long lasting. Sweet chocolatey Tonka Bean, with a fresh plasticy Suede leather, resembling very expensive cosmetics. Reminds me of Dior Homme Intense Long lasting, but modest sillage. I haven't tested it on others, but i know people love things with powerful Tonka Bean in it. you find it in Axe Dark temptations, and Playboy VIP.

My favourite MB. The apple and violet carry for ages. A subtle spice lingers underneath. Easily 6-8h of good sillage before it tapers off to a skin scent. Can still pick up the next morning. For the price, it’s a belting EDT. On my skin, it performs better in the warmer months.

Yes I remember not liking the original This one reminds mean of 1 million and wanted by night With good performance I believe it’s a crowd pleaser

Emblem Intense Montblanc for men simply & long story short far better from the original in every aspect !

Value for this one is good, nothing memorable. Just an 7/10 fragrance

In its own way, wonderful, metallic and spicy.

#302 in my "Tour de Fragrance" At first sniff I thought I smelled Tommy Bahama "Maritime", or maybe Armaf "All You Need is Love". If I thought about it, I could probably come up with two dozen more that follow this formula. Super generic in that sense. Everyone makes something more or less identical. It's pleasant enough, but you'll really need to bathe in it, spray your clothes, respray at lunch, like with most EDTs. I have EDPs of Legend and Explorer that I find have acceptable but still not impressive performance, which is my knock on the whole Mont Blanc line. But this is okay for the price. You can certainly do way worse at $32 and change. Carpool, elevator and office safe. Wouldn't be a date fragrance for me and it would not survive a summer day or a club dance floor for more than minutes.

First Pass - Sweet. Fruit for sure. Tiny bit of citrus. 1 Hour Later - Less sweet. A little fougère is poking through. Some woods. Maybe some pine 2 Hours Later - No more fruit and no more sweetness. All fougère. Oakmoss. It was interesting to see so many baking spices in the build. Cardamom, Coriander, Cinnamon and Nutmeg? Those are strong aromatics, but none stood out to me. Perhaps they are combining to give the woodiness I smelled, but then again, Wood Accords are listed in the base. I was also surprised to see Suede and Tonka Bean in the build. Thankfully, I don't get any of the powdery overtones that generally accompany their presence. Overall - This cologne will take you on a journey. It opens with a sweet, fruity bouquet that could almost be a southern orchard. Then it pulls you deep into the forests of the Pacific Northwest, resplendent with tall evergreens and the soft understory of ferns & damp moss ***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

Bought this a while back just because it was another cheap drag to throw in my cart but never got around to really liking it. It was always ok or just forgettable to me but over time I started to like the smell less and less. Now looking at the notes I can tell that it’s the rose that probably puts me off to it. I dislike rose in most fragrances with the exclusion of Lhomme A La Rose by MFK. I decided to give it away as I don’t see myself ever wearing this with my current options.

I wanted to like this perfume but I came to the conclusion that I was definitely rushing when I tried it on at the store. It is very synthetic and strong in an unpleasant way. It is spicy but once again it is nothing remarkable and smells generic. I wasted $65 on the small version and would not recommend it, oh yeah and the bottle is horrible looking, I keep it away from my collection so as to not spoil the view.

Is it just me or the other Emblem is much more intense then this one? Weird! This one is softer and kind of weak and the smell isn't something special at all! A downgrade to the already generic emblem! IDK... I might be the only one who feels this.

synthetic aqua scent...very generic "modern" smell - i put it in the same category as Invictus... same kind of smell and absolutely not worth the money...

I was excited about trying this out as I like Mont Blanc products and loved their Exceptional fragrance. Sadly I did not like Emblem at all (nor the other two flanker editions of Emblem. And the problem is not the scent of the fragrance, the problem is that this type of scent and concoction has been done numerous times and much better. Whats worse is that this has absolutely no projection or longevity. This is just a lazy release, a filler. pointless and I dont want to be so harsh and I agree others may love this because I love violet infused fragrances and this reminds me of some I love. The violet, patchouli, wood and tonka beans is what makes it recall Fahrenheit by Dior and the rose, wood and cinnamon that recalls One million by Paco Robanne. One Million I dislike becuase of that overly sweet powdery thats too cloying and everyone is wearing it and has too much hype. And I love fahrenheit no matter how old school. Emblem, I liked the bottle itself especially the smaller one of 2.0 oz and it hurt me to give it away but I just NEVER want to wear this and its a shame because I have the same scent done well and much more potent. Legend by Mont Blanc is a better fragrance in scent, projection and longevity but it is just like Fierce by A&F so I quickly grew tired of it almost the moment I first tested it. I went through the stage and era of wearing Fierce and dont need another similar scent as I'm getting older. Explorer by Mont Blanc is a much better fragrance compared to Legend & Emblem. Although Explorer recalls Aventus by Creed, its a bit different and done well gaining its own personality, its a more beloved ,masculine fragrance that would get more notice than Legend and Emblem. If you still love Emblem and its type of scent pyramid or the other flankers of Emblem collection then try the true sophisticated fragrances that are more original and smells similar but done well like: Kiton, Kiton Black, Mercedes Benz, Mercedes Benz Intense, Dunhill Fresh, Carven Homme or Fahrenheit. Even CK Man.

Any one counts this review will give me thanks for sure, i bought one from UK and i dont know whether the batch or lot is bad or not, the perfume is having the worst longevity.it lasts maximum 30 mins on shirt and 20 mins on skin and after that NO TRACE of scent ! today one interesting thing happened, hope will understand what that means. I bought a new shirt and after wearing i sprayed 8 times! after reaching to the meeting around 45 mins i found the smell of the new shirt, and NO trace of Mont Blanc !! if you buy it you need to carry the bottle in your bag and bring out the galvanized bottle after each 30 mins and keep on spraying- continue the process whole day.! better buy BVLGARI AQVA AMARA, one third of the price of emblem intense and 3 sprays stays 10 hr plus with posh fragrance.

Woo ok where to start. Number one these reviews on this are all stupid like what happened to this poor fragrance. I never smelled 1 million so I cant say but here are my thoughts on this. This is a BEAST MODE projector and longevity is AMAZING. People saying its not well there skin is guzzling it idk 🤷♂️. The Tonka bean, Rose and cardamom are freaking in your face like punching your nose. The smell at first is totally heavenly but after 6 hours I’m ready for it to die a little and it just doesn’t. Definitely gave me a headache but you absolutely can’t knock it for being amazing. It’s definitely a party boy fragrance. Can’t say it’s gotten any compliments yet but I’m certain I will. I definitely could see this being a little much for people. Its definitely not something id wear daily.

I had to log on here to say this... It's so very frustrating for me to see some of the (grossly) over exaggerated, ridiculously dramatic, reviews here from folks. How someone who is merely looking for a straight review from their peers would ever get that here, is beyond me. "Sprayed my shirt 8 times and couldn't smell anything 20mins later". Really? C'mon!! How does that even make sense?? I see this all the time. Just saw this on JPG Ultra Male... "Doused myself, and it was gone in 30 mins"..."20 sprays to my arm, and it disappeared in an hour, no trace of it." Hopefully folks are wise enough to sift through the junk, though they shouldn't have to.

If like me, you are more inclined to metallic smell instead of feminine floral or gourmand ones, you must try this lovely one. I tried this 8 hours back and can still smell it strong on me. I am going to buy it tomorrow itself and going to procure it for a party or occasion as to me this feels more of a strong party scent that is surely going to get noticed by one and all. Silage and longevity are just outstanding with some of expensive notes such as tonka beam, suede leathery like fragrance and some of chocolate. Perfect blend of intense and fresh scent. Surely recommended. Give it a try!

I have this scent and I can tell this is not the best one I've ever had, safe though! I totally agree with the one million comparison and feeling of downer version of the Emblem in other comments. Mont Blanc's Emblem Intense has fifty-fifty chance in likeability from the environment, some does like, some doesn't. For an EDT, It has done a great job in projection and longevity than some EDPs. Emblem is a nice scent however I wouldn't buy a second bottle of this. Scent-----------6 Projection------8 Longevity------7

I bought this juice just the other day because I needed to bump up my collection. It smells very nice and reminds me of any other typical male scent. I really do like it and I think its cool however the down side of this juice for me is longevity, its so soft and light that after 3hours its gone, weather on my clothes or skin. After the last 30 min before it dies out you get this soft generic blast of some cheap soap! I am disappointed but I love it at the same time, weird. Tip: never blind buy guys!

Underrated fragrance, it has good performance. It has a familiar sensual scent. The spice, the woods. it is fruity, but not musky like Mont Blanc Legend. It is affordable, and has certain elegance to it. It is very versatile. Give it a couple wearings on skin to see that it is a solid release. Scent 8.5/10 Performance 8.5/10 Compliments 9/10 Value 10/10

"so imagine air frashener and your poo smell mixed together..." Really? A mainstream fragrance actually smells like faeces? For heavens sake are you for real? Get yourself checked out by the Dr mate. If you can't make intelligent comments then don't post at all.

Very generic aqua fragrance. Too sweet. Has some of invictus aqua or rasasi hawas in it. Poor sillage, poor longevity, I’d say 2hrs max. Really glad it was a gift and not me making the buy my self

I'm new to this and I feel it very synthetic. At least in my skin. Two friends gave a sniff and they didn't like it. Smells ok but not remarkable. Still, it is just my taste.

Fall day-time scent. Very fruit-heavy on the note. It's not bad but not something to blind buy. So far it's probably not a re-buy but I need more time with it.

Just goes to show that just because it's an Intense version, it is supposed to smell better. Sometimes, the light and original version is best.
