Legend

This fragrance is in my hall of fame list. It is a classy masculine evening fragrance. I am not a big fan of strong leather, woods or patchouli so this hit all the marks for me. All the accords are bold and wrapped in a lavender bubble. On the top you get the lavender with a touch of bergamot and a hint of lemon verbena. At times I would get pineapple when it starts to dry . But it's so faint and for a short time . In the middle you get the dried fruits rose and geranium. The rose will linger until the fragrance fades away. But it's so mixed with the lavender that you know the rose is there but you don't get very much of it . The apple you don't get until it's fully dried down and everything is settled. Maybe an hour later . The oakmoss comes out very little as well. The sandalwood isn't very strong at all . It add just enough wood to carry everything and not disrupt much of what's going on. Same for the tonka , it's the warm sugar dusting over the top. Everything just works so well while being kept classy by the lavender. While it is more of a formal fragrance it can be dressed down a little. But it's definitely an evening date night type of fragrance. Performance, for being an edt it has pretty strong performance. On clothing I have smelled it the next day. On skin I have smelled it 8 to 9 hours later. Projection , with 4 sprays you'll get a solid 2 to 3 hours. The first hour you'll get a good 5 feet of projection. You can get a bottle for $30-$35 so it's very affordable. Scent - 9.0 Complexity - 7.5 Quality - 8.0 Performance - 8.0 Bottle - 8.0

This is a masterpiece, and a new fragrance that I am extremely excited about. It is a classic Fougére, and it smells wonderful on my skin. I have noticed people downplaying this fragrance, labeling it an A&F Fierce knockoff at best, a 'weak deodorant' and 'Axe' smell at worst. Nolo contendre! What I will assess, though, is that fragrances will smell different on different people, because of different chemistry, hormones, etc. I smelled this fragrance in this month's GQ magazine and fell immediately in love, which does not happen often. I know my personal scent category well enough to know that the Lavender and Bergamot in the top notes combined with the Oakmoss and Coumarin in the heart, and Tonka Bean and Sandalwood in the drydowns make for an exquisite blend with my chemistry. Indeed, I tested it out tonight and went dancing. I got positive compliments from a bunch of hot girls, ranging from "you smell DELICIOUS" to "god, you smell amazing, what IS that?" and everything in between. So I say, go with what the girls like. As for Fierce, I love that fragrance, too, but it is different from Mont Blanc on me. Legend is more smooth, refined and sophisticated, and thus the personal best. But always put it directly on the skin to get the true essence. Paper will only give a reference point. Any fragrance needs to dry down on the skin for ten minutes or so to reveal exactly what it will smell like on the particular individual. I will be making this a regular part of my collection for years to come. From a 'nose' with 24 years' practice.

Perfect example of a dumb reach. It smells like fresh shaving cream and apples/dried fruits. The dried fruit note is surprisingly very realistic. I also pick up pineapple with the rind still on it. The pineapple rind and sandalwood notes mingle so well together. Has great performance with high marks in both sillage and longevity. Incredibly affordable on discounter websites, DO NOT buy this at retail price. I recently picked up a 100ml for $34 which is a fantastic value. The only thing I find off-putting is that Legend opens with a blast of alcohol. That alcohol quickly subsides into a smooth, great smelling fruity fougere. Is it unique? Not really, but that doesn't make it any less great. This deserves a higher rating in my humble opinion. This is my third fragrance I've used from Montblanc and every single one has been a great fragrance at a great value. EDIT: I've been wearing this as my work fragrance. It performs exceptionally well. I get solid performance during a regular 8.5 hour shift. The longevity is great but the sillage trails off after a few hours. I think this is a fantastic daily driver. Shaving cream and red apple and tonka bean sweetness. Won't offend anyone. Highly recommended.

I very first sniffed this scent in my early 20s working at a beauty supply store. I knew one day I'd meet the perfect man born to wear this fragrance. Turns out that man would turn out to be my husband in our early 30s! No-nonsense men wear this fragrance only, please. Perfect for a Leo man. Mother bought this for her highschool (the bully type) son when I worked at this store; I wanted to warn them both but though boyyyyy! Wear that when you grow into a full-grown man! Feel bad for the highschool boys in the locker-room choking on this scent since he probs sprayed himself down with it like it was some type of axe body spray! A little goes a long way: just enough to smell it on a man if you're lucky to get close enough to him. One spray will do, perfect if used sparingly. Husband was *born* to wear this fragrance. The serious protector type will rock this stuff without a sweat (unlike this sweaty locker room boys lmao!). Get this for your man today: warn the ladies this is YOUR Leo man! Five stars on the right guy, hell even on the wrong one! Chick magnet. 6/5

There's a girl in one of my classes, whom I've thrown my entire repetoire of fragrances at. We're talking: Bleu de Chanel, Carolina Herrera CH Men, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, Chanel Platinum Egoiste, Chanel Pour Monsieur EDT Concentree, Dior Homme, Dior Homme Intense, Ferragamo F Black, YSL La Nuit de L'Homme, & Vince Camuto Homme. Yesterday, she finally compliments me out of the blue on Mont Blanc Legend... She told me, "Your cologne smells really good! I don't know why, but I like that smell a lot!" I told her that the reason why she liked it so much, is because it smells like me, which made her laugh... ;) When I began my fragrance collecting, I sniffed out the ENTIRE department store counter. This is the fragrance I kept coming back to. I bought it first, before all of the other fragrances I listed. People claim it's too generic. However, it sure does smell good. It smells like a man should smell, & women pick up on it. This stuff is a formidable weapon.

This is a cheap daily fragrance. It is mainly woody fresh I would say I have it for about a year now Initial it smelled like a fresh aquatic fragrance with mainly a woodsy aspect, during that time in the opening I could smell pineapple with some apple and dry down to woody notes. Lasted for about 6 hours with an arm length of projection for about 2 hours. Fast forward to today where I did not use the fragrance for two months in between and let it mascerate, the scent profile hasn't changed much, starts with lavender pineapple notes and dried down a bit smooth sandalwood woody type fragrance. The lasting changed to about 10 hours but the projection remained the same except the projection is for about 3 hours now. This is the most complemented fragrance in my collection. I would give it a solid 8/10.

Among the scents with Fierce DNA, this is by far my favorite cologne. A sweeter and more intriguing interpretation of Fierce. The iconic scent of the 2000s. This young and passionate DNA that attracted you when you entered the shopping malls in the early 2000s will never go out of fashion. The 30-minute performance of Fierce's current batch is truly sad. Percival is a slightly more mature version of this DNA with musk and amber added. It's also an unnecessarily expensive cologne compared to what it offers. Of all these, I prefer the sweet vibe of the Legend. Because this DNA reminds me of youth and fun. I have both Percival and Fierce. I don't plan on buying new bottles when they run out. But there will always be a Legend in my collection!

One of my favorites by Mont Blanc. A sweet, fruity, aromatic fragrance that is very pleasant and nice. The opening is very fruity, sweet and almost fresh in a way. In the dry down, it still maintains its fruitiness and sweetness. Longevity and projection wise, it's pretty good. I get around 6-7 hours with a soft to medium projection. This fragrance leans masculine but a bit unisex because of all the fruits and sweetness. This is just my opinion though. This is also a safe office environment fragrance. I recommend this for the spring and summer. Lastly, is it a safe blind buy. Well, that depends. If you like fruity, sweet fragrances, this is for you. But if you seem to hate sweet, it's not for you. 8.5/10, solid fragrance by Mont Blanc.

I really like it. Fierce's DNA is something that doesn't fit anybody nowadays. However, if it fits you, you'll most likely wear this fragrance for every ocassion, because is versatile and seductive. I most add that girls love this scent profile if used correctly. This is a good dupe of Fierce, so it's still a good option to wear in 2024, even considering that it was release a long time ago. It's youthful and playful, but at the same time, it's serious and interesting. Performance is good on my skin, though I know in most people won't be the case. In general, I don't know why, but Mont Blanc fragrances tend to have a good longevity on me haha. Try it out! I think this is a "boom or bust" type of fragance in today's world.

I read alot of mixed reviews so this is my take... this is a fragrance that can be worn int the winter, but its prefered to be worn in hot or humid weather for a better performance on my skin, in cool temp it seems to only radiated to people next to me and in heat its all over the room i was in. it starts of subtle and barley noticeable to my nose sometimes, then i wait 5-10 mins and it starts to show what it can do, i love applying it before i arrive to any destination a little sooner before i arrive so when i pop out my whip its performing at mid level and longevity is well about 3-6 hrs 8 on a good day but overall i love this and Legend blue as a basic but stand out daily.

Love this DNA, First time I ever smelled this DNA was Zara 421 Sport (which obviously discontinued as many Zara fragrance line) and I was instantly hooked and thought it really has this masculine sophisticated and the athlete vibe scent. Then I got to smell Fierce A&F back in 2014 and found out this one has the same DNA. Ladies also really love this scent. Ofc the original one is A&F Fierce and unfortunately Legend Mont Blanc is closer to the newer reformulated version of Fierce which is less Spicy and dense.But nonetheless, This is one of my signature scent since I was 16 so I will forever have this DNA in my collection.

This was the fragrance that got me into perfumery. Before this fragrance, I used to think perfumes are just overpriced products for rich people like Kim Kardashian to play with. But I was completely wrong. When I wore it to work, I got compliments from women, men and even office staff. I don't think I have ever received so many compliments for anything at all before. It's most certainly a compliment getter and I will never forget what it taught me. To put on a good scent which make people happy and receive compliments in return :) For me, this is the special one.

The one that started it all for me. The reason for my username. I spent an hour and a half at macys before coming across a scent that didn’t bother or annoy me. Montblanc Legend. I wore this for every occasion imaginable for the last 4 or 5 years. On my third bottle before finally venturing into this new hobby of mine. Tho this last year I’ve finally stopped reaching for this, legend will always have a place in my heart. I still believe this is one of the most Versatile frags available, and recommend it for new comers and vets looking for a safe buy.

lots of fresh lavender, noticeable red apple, a slight green side coming from geranium and oakmoss that for some is the "mature side" and ambroxan. fresh, clean, versatile and modern vibes. my wife loves this one, I have 300+ fragrances and the only one that she likes more than this is greenley, which I think is very similar to this but everything is green, green apple, petitgrain instead of lavender, etc. legend edt is a favorite of mine, very synthetic but just amazing. performance can be poor on some skins, but on mine it's quite a performer.

I bought this on a lark because it was cheap and I was bored. I had never tried it, but the reviews and YouTubers always led me to believe this was a boring, cheap frag of low distinction. Man, I have to say I love it. The sweet fruitiness mixed with the lavender is very addictive. I have around 50ish frags, including several Amouage’s and Xerjoff’s and I find myself reaching for this nearly every day,(spring.) It appears I am a sucker for fruity/aromatic frags as this combo appears in nearly all of my favs.

This is really good! I think it smells very nice and masculine. It is versatile and can be worn in almost any situation. The sillage is decent, but it doesn't last too long on me. 2 hours max. This requires resprays throughout the day. Overall, I give it an 8/10. I think it would be better to get the EDP version based on reviews, but I haven't tried it yet. I don't mind respraying it, and it does smell really good! I would recommend this to someone who wants something versatile for a lot of situations.

First bout this in 2014 after being introduced to it from a trip to vegas where a holiday pal called it “legendary” went on to buy a couple of bottles of it and it became my every day signature scent where I got some positive compliments from. An easy pleasing mass appealing fragrance. I’m not sure what the recent bottles are like but this has sentimental/nostalgia value for me and a fragrance that is still very current in the scent market 9/10

This is a perfect example of a fragrance that isn't great in any way, but for the price you would have it all year round for office / gym / general daily wear. If you just want to smell fresh and clean, but not overbearing, this will do the job. I'm seeing a lot of hate below for a fragrance that costs £30ish for 50ml, and genuinely smells good.

My dad wears this. It's a nice fragrance you can get a giant bottle of for fairly cheap. After the initial blast of rubbing alcohol, it dries down to a nice shaving cream with a healthy dose of red apple and fruits. I can see myself wearing this to work or casually. Grab it off a discounter and you'll be getting your money's worth.

As someone else said, this is elegant and formal, very masculine, something to be worn by a dapper gentleman in a suit during springtime. There is something fruity and metallic at the same time, a modern twist on the likes of Egoïste Platinum and Burberry Men. Groundbreaking? No. But excellent nonetheless. Women love this too.
