Snow Gardenia

I may be biased because i am Australian and so is MOR but this is such a beautiful gem of a gardenia fragrance and it does not get the attention it deserves. It is soft, creamy and simple, If you love gardenia i think you will love this fragrance and because it's an oil it lasts quite well on the skin. I'm not sure of the availability around the world or the cost of intentional shipping but for $19 for a 9ml oil it is pretty good value. Also the bottle design and cute tube that it comes in means its lovely to keep in your handbag or give as an inexpensive gift. If you find this and you like gardenia, buy it and you won't be let down!

This is imo the perfect gardenia scent, strong without being heavy. It's lightened up by a slightly sweet touch of Ylang-ylang. The perfume oil is a little bit greasy when it goes on (good thing it's rollerball so you can control where it goes) and I guess it's the oil that keeps the perfume lasting. I sense it a good few hours after applying. Extremely good value for money, I'm really surprised how affordable this is. I sometimes mix this with Ralph by Ralph Lauren and that combination always draws compliments.

A tangy Gardenia ylang Ylang, nice on it's own (great travel scent in its portable oil format) and superb blended with tuberose scents like Chloe and it is nice mixed with Gucci Rush to. Simple and easy to wear, not long lasting but that's fine with me as its so cheap!

I love this one! It's my favorite of the three in the line I own (the roller ball oils). It's a lovely, light, airy gardenia and it's very affordable. I have the oil version and it's fab on my skin. It's a lighthearted skinscent, but I enjoy those very much, so MOR Snow Gardenia is perfect for me. It smells like gardenia & ylang & vanilla. It reminds me of Maison L Marie Kandilli, but I much prefer Kandilli to Snow Gardenia because it's sweeter and has a fruitier ylang blended to perfection with tuberose. A warning to people who love projecting fragrances: this is not the one. Limited sillage, projection, and longevity. -

Pretty, pretty scent! I was gifted this and it smells like gardenia and banana - a creamy essence that I think comes from the ylang-ylang. Not incredibly long-lasting but makes a nice little bubble of scent around you. It's sweet, but not overly so like Marshmallow or Lychee Flower; it does tend to get quite sharp as it weakens but it's pretty much a skin scent by that point and doesn't bother me!

Smells very floral at first. After a few hours, the scent blends into my skin.

I'm disappointed with this one, given the fact that I like almost all other scents by MOR. Yet I have to give credit to this one on that this scent is interesting, different to many other scents and different to those mainstream scents which there are so many on the market today. The gardenia in this one is way too sharp on my skin and I can't smell anything else than that sharp unpleasant note when I wear this. I also had my husband commenting that "whatever your're wearing just go and wash it off" when I wore this. I guess it's partly a skin chemistry issue. I will keep trying to learn to like this and since I don't have any other similar scents is my collection, there is place for one like this.

As I am packing my things in preparation for moving house, I discovered a little tub of half used MOR Gardenia Body Butter. I have tested the perfume oil in store too, just as lovely but I generally prefer perfumes which are less sweet, so the body butter is perfect in my case. The scent is divine and very true to life just as I remember Gardenia blossoms smelling; I was immediately transported back to the garden we used to have when we first moved to Australia and as a young child I'd spend my summer days playing in. Those carefree summer days, before climate change became so extreme that we were able to actually run around all day in the garden and neighbourhood catching butterflies. This is purely a nostalgic and bittersweet fragrance for me, for that house I grew up in contained a monster. Still, I will never let him ruin this scent; nor the scent of all the other beautiful and different florals for me, after all these years gone by. To me this is the scent of pure innocence.

~*Review for the Eau de Toilette*~ Wow now this is an awesome interpretation of a gardenia, I think its definitely a treat for gardenia lovers. It a creamy buttery gardenia that is gently enfolded in warm sandalwood. Slightly sweet but not too sweet. The best part is when it starts to develop some interesting characteristics and becomes a slightly herbal blend. I think this might be the angelica kicking in and I love it! At the point the fragrance becomes a little more fresh... Overall this is an awesome unique gardenia option out there I'm glad I have a full sized bottle of it. I can already tell Snow Gardenia is going to be year around favorite of mine. I find it to be quite intoxicating when I wear it! If you are thinking about getting this its worth taking the plunge and getting it. I was not disappointed with it at all! XD It also helps that this happens to be super affordable!

I recently purchased this perfume from an online retailer as a blind buy as it was on sale (around 9 usd) as well their lovely Tonka Bean Musk soap bar I also bought for the same price! I truly love the scent of magnolia flowers. I have had magnolia flower pots several times in my home but I always have a tendency to kill them off sooner or later. Or they are just very difficult to keep in a home setting. I hope they (MOR) haven't discontinued this frag!? Wasn't disappointed at all! Really lovely clean magnolia scent I get out of this on my skin. Now I'm getting curious to mix this with a different scent like a more masculine deodorant scent like Emporio Armani's Diamonds for men or something. Can think of a plentitude of perfumes this would go well with as well as a stand alone perfume although feminine with the sweetness it exudes.

A simple, yet well-executed creamy Gardenia, not too strong. For me, the Ylang-Ylang is also very prominent, giving it a delicious banana-like nuance. Longevity is quite short on my skin, less than 3 hours, but being in rollerball form, it's convenient to keep in your handbag and reapply as often as needed. It scores bonus points for the price, coming in at less than $20 for the 9ml rollerball. If you're looking for an easy to wear Gardenia, you really can't go past this.

Have you tried this in its body wash version? It is seriously divine! Beautifully packaged, like all Mor products, it lathers abundantly and leaves a fabulous fresh gardenia fragrance on your skin and in your bathroom. It really is heavenly. As is the Snow Gardenia candle. Put them both in your bathroom for a sensuous and enveloping fragrance experience.

This is the gardenia scent I have been looking for... sweet, clear plus a slight bitterness just like the real flower in my childhood memory: little bunches of gardenia would be placed in my home all through the summer, and the smeel just make you forget about the hot weather.

Unfortunately, this is one of my least favourites I have tried from the MOR line. This gardenia smells too sharp and chemical to me, perhaps that's the snow part? I love the smell of natural gardenia, but it must be warm and creamy, which this is not.

Lush deep gardenia, very sultry, very strong, somewhat creamy but more fresh! Definitely affordable, especially for those seeking a white floral gardenia, a few sprays will do fine!
