Friends Men

This is a very powerful herbal orangy-citrus concoction, leaning more towards herbal, which means a somewhat old manish impression is inevitable. But at the same time I detect a little wild and very bright citrus notes that give off a youthful impression too. I cannot definitively tell which impression is more prominent over the other. They are sort of competing each other. Immediately after applying just one spray on my arm, I knew this one is too strong and too much for me, because the level of projection is similar to that of Joop homme. I tried to tone it down by diluting it with ethanol in my atomizer so that the strength of the fragrance can be adjusted to my taste. And now I have a pleasant herbal-citrus summer fragrance. I would compare this with Dior Eau Sauvage, which is a lot more sophisticated with better quality ingredients than Moschino Friends. But for some reason I am more attracted to this unsophisticated, somewhat wild masculine herbal-citrus eau de toilette.

Well hello there, Friends. Aren't you a Petitgrain/Bergamot BOMB if there ever was one. Wow, I love the green aromatic citrus punch of this one, its exhilarating. It opens with green citrus leaves, peels, rinds, and zest. Dare I say it is zesty. There is nothing sweet about this one, and that's fine for me, as it is a welcome diversion from the ubiquitous candied citrus. I agreed with misstral that there is indeed a detectable lovage note (which I can vouch for as I am acquainted with the delightfully pungent lovage root essential root) essential oil. I can't speak for others, but I respond favorably to this contrast to the bright citrus, as it gives sort of a vaguely animalic edge to the composition. Remarkably, this is a citrus with major longevity; the hesperidic elements are still evident hours in. How'd they do that? Hint: there are some ingenious aromachems that can extend citrus in magical ways. Great stuff.

I absolutely love Moschino Friends. It is by far my favorite summer scent. It has a very punchy projection and the freshness of the first hour is always worthy of compliments from other people around. Unfortunately, it's been a nightmare to get a new one, and the last one I had was a 50ml flask that's almost finished. I've tried to replace it with the Dior Homme Cologne and although it's a great alternative, it's not a signature fragrance to me as is the Moschino Friends.

I bought this fragrance on a whim. Since I already had Moschino Uomo? and I love it, I thought I would love this one too. I was right! I live in South Florida so it is always summer here, and this cologne mathches our weather perfectly. I like citrucy colognes and this one says CITRUS very loud and clear. It makes me feel clean and fresh all day long.

Fantastic sparkling citrus, acidic and interesting...for those that they love acidic perfumes, this is a must. strictly masculine and fresh...if you like green citrus smell, mandarin leafs and pelargonium, which is found in terre d'hermes as well, give it a try. longevity and sillage are very good...all this citrus makes you mouth watering.

Very original. The opening is unusual—somewhat niche and a bit "dirty"—but after a few minutes, a wonderful fragrance emerges and stays, both citrusy and sensual. I'm VERY much looking for something similar! If anyone knows of one, please leave a comment!

Love this stuff on the bf :) Smells fresh, clean and has a warm dry down. It smells expensive! It is one of his favourites to wear to the office as it is light enough not to offend, but looks good in a suit. Very nice, easy to wear fragrance.

this is really nostalgic lovely fresh scent. full of sour citruses and spices. unlike the others I love it so much among my fully discontinued and niche fragrances. Italian citruses are the best one in the perfume industry.

Like previously stated. Green, aromatic, with BIG citrus. I waited for this for like two weeks after i won a new one on auction, so worth it. Definitely going to be wearing this quite a bit this summer.

This fragrance reminds me my 20's. It's about youth, joy & life fullness. Recently, by accident I found aftershave Moschino Friends, so I bought it to remind those days :))

This one is truly the only non-sweet citrus fragrance known to me. Other citrus fragrances that people say "non-sweet" are a lot sweeter than this one.

It's very good for outdoor in hot weather.Good smell, fresh citrus and long lasting more than 6 hour on me.

Very nice and under rated scent although simple in nature it does take some time to appreciate when your wearing it as I think this is a scent others will enjoy on you more so than when you wear it yourself It opens up pretty harsh (not the worst but not pleasant) and it’s very herbal and smells like celery and rotten citrus. However, on my skin that opening fades away pretty quickly and the citrus comes alive and is quite natural smelling although it does smell more like orange peel rather the actual orange you eat. There’s also a slight ruggedness similar to Terre D”Hermes but more tame and as this dries down this retains the same smell but the ruggedness dissipates. Also to note like others have said it smells very different on skin than it does in the air because when I got whiffs of it’s way more crisp,airy and sea breeze like and in fact the first day I wore this a cashier said I smelled really good and the fragrance smelled like an ocean scented candle she used to have ! I also had another compliment from a client saying the room smelled amazing when she arrived and it reminded her of the beach ! So I guess there’s a common theme there with how the silage is compared to how it smells up close 🤷♂️ Performance on this is excellent and what I look for in a work scent ! 2 sprays under the shirt and I’m smelling great all day and this projects heavy for 45 mins but then makes random appearances through the day rather than leaving a huge scent bubble around you all day! It also lasts me 8-12 hours which was very surprising for a citrus fragrance (LESS is more with this fragrance as i could see this being too much of over applied) Overall rating - 8 out of 10 ! Very well done citrus that gets compliments and lasts all day. Only loses points as its close to being a love for me but not quite

This is a great Citrus Aromatic fragrance, Bright, Clean, Fresh, Uplifting and Unique. In my opinion It is Citrus Bomb, The Combination of Sour, Bitter and sweet notes : Blood Orange, Bergamot and Green Mandarin are Dominant in this perfume, It smells very pleasant and enjoyable that is similar to niche and natural Quality Perfume. It opens up with like a bit sharp zesty , citrusy and green herbal notes in the background then dry down is green woody. It is perfect for the spring and summer, If you like a new fresh citrusy scent with Italian Style and well-blended composition, You will like this one. I had high hopes for this, as I was looking for a summer citrus based fragrance that wasn't also aquatic. I blind bought this on the hopes that the masterful hand of Olivier Polge would tick all the right boxes. I tried this and was initially blasted with a slightly bitter citrus/herb combo. Something about the top reminds me of celery seed. It's not sweet and definitely not a mainstream smelling citrus. I don't get much of the sea notes, there's nothing watery or oceanic there, it gets lost in the herbal middle. In the base, the main player is the vetiver. Don't expect Terre d'hermes, the cedar is dry and muted, as is the musk. Overall I was disappointed, and will not be using this in my rotation.

I didnt think of buying it at all, but I got "аn offer I couldnt refuse (10 bucks for a 100ml bottle, brand new). What can I say about Moschino friends? If there was an olfactive group called citrus citrus, then I guess this should be its No1 representative. Agrumes is all I can get from this one, fixated well with base notes of vetyver and cedar so it lasts pretty long. An OK scent, but too linear and a bit boring.

i loved this fragrance but I coudn't wear it anymore. the bees and wasps loved it too ... a little bit too much for my taste. Every time I wore it, I would get company within seconds. I gave this fragrance then to my husband, hoping 'the problem' would be myself and not the fragrance. Unfotunately, it wasn't me. None the less, it's a great refreshing summer fragrance

Having some samples very watery, good smell and refreshing. I see the Italian citus scent in this fragrance but I would not buy a full bottle, even gifted Day wear poor longevity (2-3 hours) versatile, I use it for the gym moslty Personnaly,its a ''LIKE'' but it doesn't get the passage note 5/10

Very citrusy from beginning to end, fresh, modern, energetic...a young fragrance suitable for gym . The name suits it very well and the fragrance is pretty long lasting with good sillage for a fresh one. I don't get any vanilla or pelargonium, but I do detect some petitgrain, cedar and vetiver faintly at the end, constantly surrounded by that strong fruity-fresh smell of green mandarin & bergamot. Unfortunately not for me. My rank 6.5/10. ☣☣

I was so looking forward to trying this fragrance (i love citrus) unfortunately this has to be the worst i have smelt ! . It smells 'salty' but not like the sea more like urine :( . Id say this is best suited for skin that has been exposed to the sun for years . I wouldnt dare go out in this ....try before you buy! also note that most reviews that praise this fragrance have sallow skin :)

I feel this cologne has peanut oil smells side & woody crisp vibe. This cologne is suitable with daytime casual wear in summer season.

OMG...from the beginning until the end I find only two notes - citrus and lovage...much more lovage.

I guess the opening should be called "aromatic citrus," as others have phrased it (I also agree that it smells of the rind as well as the "flesh"). What's interesting is that if I smell it up close on the skin it's absolutely nauseating, beyond horrendous (kind of like the phlegm of a sickly person, perhaps). That's not what it smells like when it mixes with the air, however. Over time, it softens up and is pleasant, retaining but modifying the strong citrus elements. I could understand how skin chemistry may be an issue, but negative reviews may also be due to smelling it up close on the skin. I'm not much of a citrus fan, so I can't really say where this fits in with others like it. It does smell natural to me, though it's quite simple. Projection ("sillage") and longevity seem to be at least good, probably very good. I just did a dab sampling so I'll have to wear it normally and report back. UPDATE: Basically, my opinion hasn't changed from a regular wearing. I am amused at the name of it, because if a friend were to smell this up close, it would help to keep that person in the "friend zone." This is not good for romantic situations, but is a good casual fragrance for those who like the way it smells.

A different, pungent frag, which is mostly linear with strong projection and long longevity... I applied 6 heavy sprays 0 -2 mins - generic citrus, alomst sporty 2 mins - 2 hours - 2 foot projection. This frag transforms into an overdose of something foul, IMHO this is as bad as it gets, its a sickening warped concoction of one ingredient - perhaps Petigrain Paraguay - this is added to by an artifical like bug spray twist. A horrendous mess - as Grounds keeper Willy says, "It's back to the Loch with you, Nessie..." 2 hours - 5 hours - 1 foot projection. Good staying power, alas for the frag its linear, which means its awful the entire time.. 5 hours - 7 hours - 4 inch projection. I did well to keep it on my skin, Zombie Cologne 7 hours 10 hours - Gets a little metallic, close to skin A blind buy Discontinued apparently, how did this get into production? Not for me

Citrus? Liquorice. Disgusting, awful colgone. I cant believe all these rave reviews, I thought of returning it, and it's only 40$ a bottle. I never think of returning cologne. Moschino Toy Boy is so good, I guess this balances it out. I would never recomend this useless hamster snot for anything other than coating one of those plastic halloween containers to fill up with candy for dishing out to trick or treaters on porches, to kind of leavin them with this 'what's that weird smelling candy in there?' to maybe save them a few cavities. It's gross.

This one starts out with a blast of citrus (the strongest I have ever came across) with the aroma of mandarin dominating the entirely opening, but not a pure mandarin, instead, a salty one, similar to the salinity in coastal regions. Anyway, a very potent fragrance, which becomes acceptable only after about 2 hours, where a semi-sweet chord appears and the opening notes decay a little bit. Definitely leaned towards citrus-lovers.

Yes, this is truly natural citrus orange smell, but it is also like if you have squeezed the peel directly on your skin. So, both PávelHenry and Fabricio are right about this. So as Maddyrain, because I also find it the most citrus fragrance that I know. And like Costaleo and Cowboykenny27, this is too much for me either, especially under hot weather conditions: the scent, which is naturally acid, becomes rancid on my skin.

The opening of Friends is ALOT like the vintage formulation of Liz Claiborne for men. I did not like Friends at first, but using for a few days, I really like the dry, pungent, simplistic nature. It is ok on my skin. It only gets better layered w/ something simple like, AdP. Friends adds a greener, dryer roundness to other simple, sweet Italian citrus types.

It is truly Citrusy Aromatic! Sharp and overwhelming. Suitable for no time and no seasons!!! Wear this if you like the fragrance of stale, lemon-scented dish water left standing for 72 hours in an oily, food-encrusted aluminum pan. I had high expectations for Friends because of a delightful women's fragrance from Moschino (I Love Love) that my daughter and I discovered. I have never had so little remorse discarding a fragrance. No, really.

I will try to describe this fragrance in he most simple way one can figure it out without having ever sniffed it. Get the peel of a Greenish Begamot, squeeze it towards your skin to liberate the oils and voila... smell your skin and you have Moschino Friends without the alcohol contents of course.

Moschino Friends for man is the best citrusy ,fresh ,summery fragrance for all times ! No other man's summer fragrance is like it and never will be ! Its citrusy italian smell is truly matchless !!! It is one of my most dearly loved summer fragrances forever !!!

Oh! I love this fragrance! So fresh, so cool, ideal for hot climas, like brasilian! The most strong scent you will feel is the bergamota. It really makes me fell "up"! Really friendly!!! The vanilla for me is impossible to feel.

The best winter scent! Oranges! Lots of oranges! Male oranges! My favorite scent during cold days and around hollidays. Chicks dig it! :)) I think it has become hard to find! I switched it with Moschino Uomo.

"Friend" by Moschino is a delovely citrus fragrance. Expect to spend some nice hours with a strong combination of lemon and orange on your skin. I strongly recommend it to citrus lovers out there.
