Moschino Forever Sailing

This was such a pleasant surprise! I love the genre of aquatic fragrances, theoretically. But realistically, it’s really difficult to find one that’s good or different than the others. This one is good. Better than good, actually. And it IS quite unique. I feel like it’s an aromatic first, a freshie second, and an aquatic third. It’s definitely a twist on the formulaic aquatics that proliferated on the 90s and early 2000s. It’s more “nautical” than “aquatic.” If that makes sense. I get the citrus notes heavy in the opening, with nuances of mint and juniper. Neither herb is prominent and just add a supporting lift and sparkle to the citruses. Enter the lavender. This brings a smooth, elegant, almost powdery floral aspect to the fragrance as it starts to transition into the mid and drydown. Honestly, I can’t distinguish the woods, amber, or patchouli, but I do detect the musk. This is lovely. Elegant for what it is, very smooth, expertly blended and mystifyingly long lasting for this type of fragrance. A very satisfying blind buy and quite underrated. Very inexpensive too. Nothing bad or critical to say about this one at all. Solid. 8.5/10

Tacky cap, nice bottle and awesome atomizer. True to Moschino's quirky fashion. Quality presentation. This is a different kind of aquatic scent and I completely love it. The criticism of the opening is fair. A bit chemical and harsh but give it a minute to collect itself. A cool but not minty citrusy opening. Lavender quickly ramps up while the juniper gives it a tangy/spicy edge in the middle with the citrus still lingering. No aquatic notes listed but it does have that aura ever so slightly. The base is still fresh with a soft patch and musk, I still smell citrus and juniper here as well. Not completely woody to me but I could see a woody accord playing a small part. Slight ambroxan to me as well. It smells awesome and I don't particularly get the "generic" label. Awesome longevity and acceptable sillage. This to me is casual or even a work scent for all ages. Pretty versatile. I could see this definitely in summer but there are also some warm notes so may also work in cooler weather. Very affordable which is also a big plus. Dig it!

Guys, it's a nice fragrance. It's not something unique but it's still nice! And it's a great alternative to Versace's fresh ones. Someone is saying it's like soap or to harsh, to my nose it's not. Maybe a bit strong citrusy blast at opening, but it calms down after 5-10 minutes and then it's ok. I bought it at mid spring time and was really glad! Probably strong citrusy notes can be a bit cloying in a heat on a sun, but under 30C* it's totally good. Best impressions about this fragrance I got probably when I was on a beach of the sea. That moment I clearly understood why is it called "Sailing". Maybe sometimes I feel a bit low longevity, 3-4 hours on my slkin but it's not a surprise for all fresh scents. I would give solid 4 stars out of 5. Maybe even more :)

I like this one a lot. I just finished a mini and would say it's an upgrade to any of the Perry Ellis or Versace scents on the market. It's a pleasant masculine scent that isn't cloying or sweet. It's more of a fresh scent, but wouldn't consider it a pure fresh scent. I own 360 for Men by Perry Ellis which I consider to be the best of all Perry Ellis scents, and would say that Moschino Forever Sailing may have an edge on that fragrance, but it's a very close one. You'll enjoy this one if you dislike sweet fragrances, but enjoy a touch of musk to add personality and masculinity to the common fresh fragrance. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update: I repurchased a 1 ounce bottle for $13, and am very satisfied. This one’s vastly underrated, I think. Or at least vastly under-recommended. It has a pretty sweet citrus tone to it, but with a healthy dose of aromatic woodiness that gives it some character. I wouldn’t say it necessarily reminds me so much of sailing as much as boating on a lake in the mountains, or camping in the rain. I’m sure there are people that would disagree with that, but for me that’s what the scent conjures up. As for the longevity and sillage, it’s one of my best-performing freshies. It’s also gotten me quite a few compliments. Overall a really great scent and very affordable, too.

I blind bought Forever Sailing after my appreciation of the only other Moschino fragrance I own, Toy Boy. I really didn't expect much but I find that this is one of my favorite go to summer scents. While no aquatic notes are listed I find this to be a very citrus and aquatic fragrance. Slightly sweet and very pleasing. I get several hours of good use out of this, pretty typical for designer freshies. Forever Sailing is a compliment getting, at least for me, fragrance that is priced very well and hardly a risky buy.

A really nice balanced scent, Antonpan is really spot on with his reveiw, after my first try I thought Chanel Bleu, not based on the nose but more on the style, it's very modern, fresh, light, seems to have a built-in feel good factor which makes a good perfume great. All in all a very interesting and well developed scent, it's a firm recommendation. Seems to be lasting well, 5hrs gone and pretty much still jumping out, Nice !!

If you need BLAST OF FRESHNESS , this is will do its job!! Amazing Stuff out there !! One spary lasts easily for good 8-9 hours which good enough for Indian Summers (38+degree Celsius) This juice should actually be in MANCERA /MONTALE Bottle !! I will not be surprised to make this my signature perfume (for summers) 10/10 for me .

A very fresh and clean summer scent at a great price. I just purchased my 2nd 100ml bottle, you can never get bored of it and sillage/longevity are good. I'd highly recommend as a blind buy if you are looking for a versatile summer scent. Scent: 4/5 Sillage: 4/5 Longevity: 4.5/5

This is a citrus blast with an aquatic vibe.. Kinda generic in my eyes but it is really quality stuff..Only have a decant and plan to buy a bottle in the upcoming months.. Any occasion daytime freahie in my mind. I am really liking the Moschino house.. Rating 8.0/10

Best value for money ever in a fragrance. Marvelous. Marine, herbaceous, sunny, evocative. Women like it to death. Too bad it's been decommissioned. I bought the last 5 testers of 100ml so now I have over half a litre of this masterpiece. Until it comes back.

Bought in without test it first and wow! This is amazing, very fresh and great value at this price (around 25 euros). I smell a pretty strong mint and lemon, it's not a sweet juice, it's nice and masculine. 5/5 for me. I simply love it.

A solid fresh, citrus summer scent. I love anything citrusy, so this is right up my street. One of my most complimented colognes - The ladies seem to like this a lot. For the money (£25 100ml) you really can't go wrong.

When I first smelled Forever Sailing after blind buying it last spring, My first thoughts was "wow...This is not bad". But since I have only worn it about 3 times...I know i'm going against the grain based on other reviews and may receive a bunch of thumbs down but here we go... This is a very obnoxious, in your face (in a bad way) scent. If you wear it right it can be pleasant. And what I mean by that is this is a warm weather scent that should be worn lightly. Over spraying this turn it into a citrusy Ant spray or Household Cleanser. I don't get how people can say this is well blended. Its a mess from the start to my nose. It begins to smooth out later on in the scent but by then it has reached a very boring generic stage. Its a cologne without class, or character, and the opening is super harsh. I MEAN HARSH...The notes are low quality and its obvious from the first sniff that that is the case. A scent can be low quality and still be worth owning but this was almost offensive to my nose at times. I ended up giving it to my Nephew who is 16. If im going to wear a citrusy scent the citrus has to be done right or at least be passable based on the total construction of the scent such as in the case of 'Ultra Zest'. While it has a very fake orange smell it doesn't really matter because the rest of the fragrance is so well done. The people who hate on it hate it mostly because its too Amen-ish but the overall scent is much more pleasing to the nose than a scent like this. One thing about it, for those of you who like to collect strong frags this scent is very strong. It lasts 10 hours on skin but I'd wear it mostly in the spring because it can get cloying in the summer. It can fit many situations that are casual and would probably have ended up being a 2 spray gym scent for me (there is always an opportunity to make a good impression...even in the gym). Due to it's performance it can possibly be a signature scent one could wear all year. This is not a unique scent either. Throw a seed in a large box of aquatic cirusy fragrances and it will ping pong ping on many bottles that is doing what Forever Sailing is doing and probably much better. Overall I just think there are so many better options out there that this just doesn't register to me. However, I have to admit that on the right skin with few sprays the dry down is not horrible though not memorable either. It's just not a fragrance I could recommend with a clear conscious even though its cheap. I would recommend trying it and if you can appreciate it go for it. But for me this is a no go. Very pleasant citrus summer aquatic with spices... Sometimes, when a fragrance is somehow familiar but at the same time different from others that we know, it can be challenging to describe. What bugs us, is our lack of understanding of what is really behind it or distinguishing the different notes from each other. Forever Sailing has lots of citrus, juniper and musky vetiver with a touch of mint – all very balanced and very refreshing. The lavender, juniper and patchouli makes it juust a little different from other aquatic freshies. Definitely a casual and happy “feel-good” scent. Unique? Not really, but different and very fresh for warmer days. The name is pretty spot on, as you could easily imagine yourself drifting on a yacht in the Mediterranean. I was quite surprised by the performance which is very good for this type of scent, as these “summery” scents usually evaporate within a couple of hours on my skin. Is it a safe blind buy ? If you’re into summer freshies like e.g. Nautica Voyage, Versace Man Eau Fraiche and the likes, I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy this one very much – even if it comes in a slightly cheesy bottle. Available at a cheap price and pretty good.

Moschino Forever Moschino Sailing got robbed of it's own name. I think this creation deserved it's own name rather than marketing it as a flanker of Moschino Forever for two reasons: 1- Sailing has nothing in common with the original which is enough for me to justify another name. 2- Moschino Forever is not that popular to justify a flanker. Useless talk aside, Moschino forever sailing is a very clean, light and well blended perfume! It's the definition of a very good summer fragrance that is both refreshing and long lasting... Very long lasting indeed. It's lasting power really surprised me as I did not expect it to last as much as it did, sillage is however moderate to weak in the end. In the end, Both moschino forever fragrances are potent really good releases. While not related at all, they share that good quality with cheap price tags of moschino fragrances. Who said that good quality = High price, Moschino just proves the opposite!!

Over-all smell - 8/10 : Sparkling-Energetic-Refined. Smells modern-sexy and fashionable. Top-notch for the house of Moschino and it doesn't deserve as a flanker. Somebody told me Sailing also a morphed of Bleu de Chanel - I think the notes of mint, citrus is similar but the vibe has a familiar resemblance (+) * Fantastic longevity; 9-12 hours srsly * Arguably the most perfect gym-scent ever * Safe blind-buy fragrance Versatility - 8/10 : Best to wear in the Summer! - Great on high school and college boys as occasions like business meetings and sporty scenarios. Day or night if dressed up or not. Perfect for daytime, ideal for the office, great for causal wear, works well at night as well. All year fragrance - highly versatile yet Masculine. I have owned a 100ml of Forever Sailing for a little over a year now. Last summer it did not get a lot of use, because I was still building my collection, and I have a great deal of "summer scents" within. Today I walked into work not thinking that it would be especially noticeable, but as my coworker came over to my desk to show me a document, she remarked upon how amazing the scent is. We all know that fragrance is genderless and marketing is where everything gets divided. She plans to buy herself a bottle for her upcoming vacation next week. This is a great option if you're looking for a daily driver in the warm weather, that has a very reasonable price point for a 100ml bottle (currently $28USD on Fragrancenet).

Picked this up for $14 after being told it smells like versace pour Homme. I was let down when I got it because it doesn’t smell at all like VPH. However, it’s pleasant and performs quite well for what it is. If you can find the 30 mL for less than $15 or bigger bottles less than $30 it’s worth a pick up. Edit: After owning this one for what I can’t believe has been two years now, I reach for this freshie more than any other I own. I was lucky enough to score a back up 30 mL for $14 WITH free shipping. If you’re looking for a solid cheapie for this summer go to Mercari. You won’t be disappointed.

Eh. On me it's a very generic fresh aquatic. Starts out harsh but not overpowering. A lot like a blue deoderant spray from the early 2000s. After an hour it settles into a spicy fresh aquatic, but with almost no projection. On hour 8 it's... Aquatic amber? Is that a thing? I can only smell it with my face under my shirt. I bought this one super cheap, so it was worth it. This fragrance won't offend anyone and would be safe for office wear or gym. I think women who like men's deoderant would like this too. If you see it in the bargain bin it's worth a try.

This is a super fresh and diffusive cologne enriched with sparkling aldehydes. Its cold, ozonic, herbal, and floral without being too musky as they used fractionated patchouli for a cleaner dry down. It reminds me of Chanel Chance eau fraiche as both are aldehydic and fresh, but Chanel has more floral tonacity where as this is a bit dryer. Good for layering gourmand and heavy perfumes as it lifts and diffuses those thick, heavy notes.

FRESHHHHHH, modern interpretation of Perry Ellis 360 (the original). I think it's the juniper note. The mint and citruses at the top are absolutely sparkling, then it mellows out a bit and becomes a pleasing aromatic that smells like it came from the early 2000s. Pretty straightforward stuff. I'd say it smells like its price point - no better, no worse. Performance is good for a fragrance of its genre!

Very nice warm weather scent who's citrus opening immediately reminds me of a less sweet/more herbal Lacoste Essential.(I swear I smell tomato leaf in this, even though it's not listed) More testing needs to be done to see how it evolves and what kind of longevity I get out of it....but can say that so far, I'm extremely happy with this cheapie but goodie!

Such a strong smell! It radiates & projects hard & the smell is acceptable. The smell itself isn't much to be honest. A strong, intense citrus smell. I smelled it before but I can't recall what fragrance it was. This belongs to the Versace Eros family, very loud, but not much beneath it. Not your everyday smell for sure.

Opens with a burst of freshness and then calms down into the juniper and I am sure I smell violet which reminds me of Rare Carbon by Afnan. Projection is good initially but within an hour has completely calmed down making this a versatile fragrance. An inexpensive nice summer fragrance which is

Cheap Summer flanker for Moschino forever. This is much more citrus with a strong hint of bergamot. Settles after a while to the base to the original. Performance ok and scent versatile. At its current price point of £20, honestly. You're not going to get a bad blind buy here

Bought a bottle on the air plane to Mallorco back in 2018 for 90 Swedish Krona, about 10 euro back then, Opening not the best to much citrus, dry down after 20-30 minutes much better. Summer parfume. Great Value for money, performance quite good, overall 4/5

I bought it based on the reviews. This perfume is very very fresh, nice, in spite of being artificial, with a strong calone note, which resembles that one from Hugo Boss Element. In comparison with Element, this one has good longevity.

May not be very unique, but is a good fragrance indeed. If you're looking for a fresh, aquatic and inoffensive everyday fragrance, here you go. Longevity is great.

If you like aquatics or ocean scents, you will like this. Unfortunately for me, I dislike aquatics (what was I thinking with a name like "Sailing"? Well, duh!) It starts off with and almost kumquat accord - kind of a fruity citrus. Perhaps this is the interaction of the lemon and juniper together? Then upon dry down I get an ocean accord with some slight saltiness and some kelp. I live next to the ocean, so this very familiar to me. But I'm not liking it. I don't like smelling like I just bathed in the ocean. Despite my personal tastes, I do believe this is a quality perfume. It is well-blended and is smooth from opening to dry down. For aquatics lovers, this is a good bet.

Was let down by overhyped fragrantica reviews once again. this fragrance smells almost spot on to Ajax lemon scented antibacterial dish soap. Opening is very harsh. The lemon and mint are very powerful.. Dry down reminds my a little of a more citrusy dried down Hugo Reversed, but is way in the background behind the citrus.. It's not horrible, but not something I'd wear. Great summer scent if you like a very fresh scent.

I bought this on a whim when it was on offer, thinking it would be somewhat similar to Acqua Dell Elba with it being a nautical theme. It doesnt smell anything similar to it at all and if anything, it smells a bit cheap. Saying that I did pick up a bottle for around £22 in a sale but I expected more from that brand, with it being a fashion staple. Not great at all.

I had high hopes for this and was let down. This is super light, generic deodorant smell and sticks to the skin. Maybe it will shine in the high heat but as far as being in mild weather it's dead in the water. I'm confused by all the praiseworthy reviews. It's like there was no thought put into making this fragrance.

Another mild ambroxan scent. It's not my style, it slightly burns my nose but I can handle it and I can say, I like it, I could wear it. Safe, versatile, generic, for warm weather daytime fragrance. Moderate performance overall.

Very few will enjoy this in reality if they haven't visited the country side or rather small towns of Italy, people who have been in Verona, Cecilia, Bari , Bolognja and small villages in between know what I am talking about, very typical Italian vibe which is in every second mature Italian scents many of them are not even known,in a nut shell every note in this is kind of heavy or on steroids which make it smell like harsh bug spray for many but actually that's not the case , honestly I hated to first time but when I visited Italy and travelled there lately a lot then i got the game right, specially when i visited couple of local joints in small town and all Alpha male Italian dudes were wearing such frags with pointer shoes,tucked in shirts on fitted Jeans with hipster hairstyles with beard lock, now for normal guys like us do not consider sailing or light blue juice as some normal aquatic as this shit is heavy and can choke others out if you go heavy on trigger, I am wearing this in winters here and I scared many people but few were brave enough to compliment it and I enjoy that uniqueness as same happened with me with Guilty Absolute though that really is a mustered gas, but this one is good for me only in winters.The performance is solid 8 hours on me even after that too.Try to use in winters with full dress up in the office or formal places it will work out, if you like Aramis, Eu Sauvage and Platinum Egoiste then this might work for you.

The best summer scent ive used ! ive tried several freshies including some niche but this 1 beats them all. simply put, this is Strong masculine Grapefruit. not exactly natural smelling or smooth or any of that but not cheap or chemically either. Just Grapefruit goodness and there's something about it that makes it proper masculine. Funny thing is , I had sampled it a couple of times at a store but didnt think much of it then but one day a friend was next to me and i kept getting these wonderful whiffs coming off him. when i asked him i was surprised to know it was this one ! and to be precise he had done 2 or 3 sprays on clothes. probably goes to show how just sampling a scent can sometimes mislead u. anyway this has become my top fav and ive had times in summers when just 2 sprays on the neck have stayed on forever with excellent projection. it feels quite similiar to Chanel bleu EDT without the incense maybe. Im simply shocked this is not a top seller

Picked this one up as a blind buy because I was able to get a 50ml bottle for $13. So far I'm really liking it. The opening can be a little harsh and for a spring/summer freshie you want to go easy on the trigger. This isn't one you can spray very liberally or you are going to choke yourself and others out. If worn properly, its a very safe and versatile fragrance. Longevity and projection are well above average for this scent category. It's not overly unique and has synthetic qualities but it's an honest fragrance if you can appreciate it for what it is. A work horse freshie that you don't have to lug around to re-apply throughout the day. 7.5/10

A reviewer on here said this is really harsh and bad quality, hell no this juice is amazing! The opening is a little harsh but only for the first 30 seconds which is perfectly fine for any $30 cologne. The notes are nicely balanced with mint, lemon, grapefruit, lavender, juniper, musk amber woody accords, & patchouli resulting in a fresh, masculine, sexy scent. Extremely versatile for the summer it can be worn casual or formal. I work at a nightclub and love wearing this cologne women really dig it! Performance and quality are very good for the price 10/10 this hidden gem is easily my signature summer scent!

Mint, Citrus & Juniper opening. The Juniper sticks around. The Lavender is not the sweet variety, but more herbal. Very fresh and invigorating. I was able to get this from Marshalls for around $20. Musk, Woods & Amber in the dry down. Longevity is actually pretty decent for a freshie. Not beast mode or ultra long lasting, but it does project ok for an hour or so depending on the amount of sprays. Summer and Spring are the times to wear this. If you can get this for a good price, I'd say it's worth a pickup. Not too shabby Moschino.

A well-balanced modern creation praising a masculine freshness of 201x-s. The novelty has nothing common with predecessor except the professionalism of the perfumer. Moschino Forever Sailing is done in the vein of Bleu de Chanel, which has become a founder of a new generation sport fragrances. Forever Sailing is not a copy of the Bleu; I must say that similar components - mint, citruses, vetiver - are mixed in the different proportion, without woody dry down. THe result is sparkling, strong and extremely trendy perfume.
