So Real Cheap & Chic

This is so pretty! It smells like those sherbet punch drinks but with a twist. Imagine making one of those sherbet drinks but it is made with orange and lemon infused water with some zest floating in there and there are bouquets of peonies and magnolias right next to it on the table and a hint of jasmine coming from the neighbor's yard. LOL. It's very, very orange. Very, very sorbet. Fresh and citrusy sweet with that waft of peonies and magnolia in the air. Love this! I will be buying a bottle of this. I only got a sample so far.

This little wonder definitely took me by surprise as I've never been a particular fan of the brand. What a beautiful and sparkling summer scent, perfect for these hot days. I feel instantly refreshed when spritzing it on, and end up smelling lovely (or should I say heavenly) for the rest of the day as well. Drydown is creamy, fresh and floral in a way that suits women of all ages. The bottle looks fun and playful and positively different from the other ranges in the market. Love the artwork on it!

Sparkling bitter orange: FANTA! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! 🧡🍊🧡

I had to delete my previous review of this, as it was based on a fleeting impression from smelling the top notes while sampling at a fragrance counter in a department store. That led me to actually purchase a 1 oz. bottle of this scent. When I got home and actually got to try this out more properly, I realized that the opening orange notes, which are very pleasant without being sugary, last only thirty seconds to a minute. After that, this fragrance becomes a light floral (not a white floral, so at least it's got a little bit of character). It reminds me of daisies and dandelions, but it definitely doesn't retain the idea of citrus. Time to edit again: I have finally realized that this smells more floral in cold weather and more citrus in warm weather. Because of that, I would recommend in for warm weather wear to enjoy the light, fresh citrus scent. In warm weather, it is great for office wear because it is light and airy.

Tested 2018-10-15: Opens as an effervescent, smile-inducing orange creamsicle scent; delightfully delicious but dries catch- me-if-you-can quick before settling into a light, very pretty, nondescript floral. Woe is me, it didn't bloom beyond the blossoms and had a lifespan of less than 90 minutes. Oh, So Real, such a crazy cute bottle, but is that flower wink meant to mock us? Chic you may be, especially for the right body chemistry, but cheap, you most certainly are not! Still and all, I'd be curious to see how this would stand up on my 18-y.o., she gets great longevity (and $ value, apparently) with Moschino's I Love Love ...

Edit: I take it back, my nose must be broken. This is a very sharp citrus scent with a touch of floral, but the deep citrus persists above all else. It feels elegant more than anything for some reason, unlike most citrus scents, and it's pleasant. Despite its bite however, it lasts quite a short while, only 2-3 hours. It's a bit of a let down since I Love Love and Funny also from Moschino have citrus as main accords and are fresh and long lasting. I like it well enough and finished the bottle, but I like the others way more and would rather buy them than So Real.

I am taking out all my “Spring and Summer scents” these days and I look forward to start using this perfume again! I remember using it to go to the office just right before the pandemic started and I haven’t used it again ever since. It’s a bright and clean scent, not aggressive, and it makes me smile every time I use it. I feel the juicy tangerine on my skin, followed by the peony and the musky cedar dry down. The packaging is cool and because of its freshness, it can be a nice present for a young girl.

Lovely earthy orange with a bitter opening that turns fresh and soft. If you could turn a summer evening in to a smell, this would be it. It reminds me of that moment when the sun finally begins to set, the heat from the day breaks and you're left with a comfortable, warm breeze and a gorgeous orange sky. So Real sits close to the skin, with about 3-4 hours of lasting power. It's delightful, and somehow makes me feel nostalgic despite the fact that I've never owned a fragrance like it before. Love it!

I found this on clearance at tj Maxx last year for a great price. To my nose and on my skin it smells exactly like orange juice. Unsweetened, fresh squeezed, with bits of the pith and rind thrown in. Bitter and with an undercurrent of green, glossy leaves. I really like it. It's uplifting and energizing. However it can get annoying fast, plus my husband really hates it and says it smells like orange juice and hairspray. Still, I reach for it once in a while.

This is an interesting and clever fragrance. For me, the middle and base notes appeared before the top citrus notes. The evolution from the beginning to the end is impressive. The orange is a deep mature orange, not bright and jumpy. The dry down is really nice, everything comes together in a melange of orange, gardenia, musk and ambroxan, with just a hint of cedar. Not the greatest projection. Don't blind buy but try to sample it to see for yourself.

Not your high-brow scent, but has the trusted iconic sweet white musk Moschino drydown. Lasts little less than five hours and sits close to the skin A blast of grapefruit. Lemonblossom developing. Honeyed peony. Sweet musks and sugared ambroxan. I don't know how that happens but my nose always perceives ambroxan as an underlying burning crystal sugar scent. Same smell as in Mon Paris Yves Saint Laurent. PENCIL SHAVINGS.... well done!

This is what I like to call an ‘everyday citrus’ frag. It opens with sour/bitter citric notes (grapefruit-bitter orange-lemon-whatever) - an olfactory equivalent of Schweppes Bitter Lemon! Then it turns somewhat flowery (mostly peony) and quickly dries down to ambroxan and musk. It’s not too bad, and the bottle is great, but it doesn’t really stand out from gazillions similar fragrances. I bet it will be discontinued in no time.

This is a typical sweet fruity floral--but the bitterness of the citrus gives it a tiny bit of an aromatic edge. But it's not sharp at all. It's refreshing. It's not cloying. It reminds me a little bit of the feeling that you get when you just crack open a can of soda really fast--it's effervescent, but in your nose. It makes me think of to D&G's Light Blue but imagine that with CO2 carbonation!

Not a fan of Moschino. But I love it. It's joyful and bright, simple but there's something unique to it. After spraying: mandarin orange + goosbery (slightly fermented wine-y fruity note) + some wild rose petals + bread? (the same "picknic basket" note as in Dolce Garden) After half an hour: mandarin orange + five o'clock flower / or orange flower.

This is good for the hot weather. I get none of the berry or sweet notes that are in the list, mostly bitter orange, like the peel? And minimal tangerine. As for florals peony is the star here. I get a little jasmine & magnolia but nothing more than a touch. I prefer the Love Love. So I probably won't repurchase. Longevity is pretty good 7+ hrs.

I bought a tester bottle at a big clearance. Actually, my expectations weren't really high when I bought this. The bottle didn't cost much. However, it is actually quite a nice scent. Unobtrusive, fresh, suitable for the gym and on a warm day. The scent is noticeable for a few hours.

Light fresh scent, bitter orange peels, very refreshing without being sweet. Drydown is more floral and clean. It does not last long on my skin, but for hot summer days it will be great and refreshing. Edit: Somehow it reminds me of jasmine ice tea with orange peels, nice

It's a simple light fragrance, in a way similar to I love love and Light clouds, but even lighter. The scent is very citrusy. It could be great with warm and cold weather both. It's fine, but nothing amazing. A simple scent for work or school, an everyday fragrance.

This is nice. Fresh,clean and soapy. A good choice if you like citrusy fragrances. This one is a bit bitter, i agree with another user who said it smells like Fanta, but it’s pleasant. An easy scent for summer.

I get lots of citrus on top, especially bitter orange, but the bitterness recedes, though not completely. And I get sorbet and other sweetish fruits. It’s pleasant and pretty. Easy, casual.

Available at Nordstrom as of 1/12/19 Fresh, citrusy, young. Good inexpensive summer fragrance. Nothing special or new, but pleasant. Dislike the bottle design but I am 30.

smells clean and somewhat a little bitter, but still a nice fragrance. the bottle is adorable (like most of the Moschino Cheap and Chic bottles).

If you like oranges or even Fanta, this fragrance can suit to you. Yummy and funny:)

If you are a citrus fanatic like me then you will probably like this scent It smells like freshly done laundry done with citrus soap. Something about it kept reminding me of my old high school. I realized it was because it had wood-paneled walls, was older and kinda musky, and they used orange-scented wood cleaner. It starts off with the bitter orange being the main show. which admittedly can be very sharp and if I didn't love the smell of oranges as much as I do, I can see how someone might describe it as a cleaner. This isn't a problem for me. I love Alexandria Fragrances Sunday Morning which smells like pine sol at first (give it a chance though, afterward it's heavenly). It is a little sweeter after those initial sprays, perhaps from the sorbet? Then it takes on its more laundry soapy light fresh form. The whole time those are happening there is hint of earthiness in it. Which I honestly really enjoy. If it didn't have the moss and wood, it would be entirely too uninteresting. Finally, it takes on its final form, at least on me, which is a subtle floral scent. After an hour tops it stays close to the skin. I usually hate peony but it works well here. This isn't amazing or my favorite but I am very impressed with it for what it is. It's great for everyday wear. You can spritz it on at school or work seeing as its pretty inoffensive. If you love citrus scents, are looking for something light and fresh, perhaps for the summertime, this would be a great and inexpensive blind buy.

LOVE the opening! Bitter orange (similar to orange peel) and fresh sorbet. But then it quickly settles down to something less exciting. I'd buy this fragrance in a *heartbeat* if the fresh and uplifting opening remained the whole time!! The dry-down is mainly pink peony, magnolia and slight musk ~ non-disturbing, but have smelled a hundred perfumes like this... Fits for any and all occasions though, and especially if you're a fan of lighter fragrances. Definitely worth testing if the notes look good to you. Though keep in mind this is a more FLORAL scent as the citrus opening is so short-lived!

A fresh, soapy, citrus scent. The orange citrus dominates the notes too much for my taste. It is a pleasant, non-offensive daytime scent for spring or summer. Unfortunately, none of the Moschino Cheap & Chic perfumes smell anything like the lovely but discontinued “L’eau Cheap & Chic.” 😭

To me it smells like oranges and washing powder. Very clean, a little bit sharp, would be ok for summertime, but it is not that special. There are better orange based perfumes out there.

I went on here to write a review but everyone below me has described EXACTLY what I smell from this. Orange (a very bitter one, like in the notes), and washing powder. When I first sprayed this on, it smelled a lot just like oranges and a little bit like I Love Love, but when I sprayed it on myself, I smell so much powder, this is definitely citrus scented laundry detergent. It sits close to skin and can’t really be smelled by others, and I have to spray a lot. The lasting power is not there either, it lasts about an hour of me smelling it, but the headache I get from the powdery laundry detergent scent is endless. I love I Love Love (wow what a phrase), so I was hoping this would be more similar like I initially got straight from the bottle, but unfortunately, on skin this just isn’t my favorite.

The opening is great, really bitter orange. There's also watery florals, like in cheap and chic chic petals. All of that is fine, but the dry down is not for me. It makes me think of laundry detergent. It's musky, soapy, but bitter, with a tinge of the oakmoss and woods. The longevity was around 3 hours. I just couldn't see myself ever reaching for this, I didn't enjoy it and so it's been decluttered. If you want a nice bitter orange, I would recommend Moschino Funny! over this one.

I really hoped for a nice orange scent, but got some cleaner scent instead. Disappointing.

The bottle is gorgeous, however, the perfume is not. Its start may be really misleading, as it's quite interesting Something unique - that's why i was even hoping to buy it But later it's just horrible, the only dream is to wash it off! And... the base is ok actually, last notes are even nice, imo Longevity is really great :) Advice: do not blind buy this one

Very synthetic, like scented nails polish remover or some glue. Now when I see notes I could see resemblance with some sorbet, if made out of artificial flavors....., don’t get any other notes.

It is available already at Roma Termini, I was initially attracted to the bottle- so fun and cute and quirky. Now for the fragrance- it a fresh fruity floral with the odd citrus note thrown in for good effect. Is the scent bad? No. Is the scent chemical? No. Is the scent great or unique? No. But it is nice pleasant, fresh and uplifting and easy to wear, would I pay more than £25 for 100ml? No, but if it goes on sale for cheap, I will definitely purchase it, the bottle is amazing and the scent is very wearable although lacking the quirkiness of the bottle it is in. I have a feeling however that this will be double the price of all the other moschino cheap chic range here in the UK which never go for more than £25. Only time will tell. Bottle- 10/10 scent- 4.5/10

It opens with a delicious orange fanta note. I don't like the initial middle notes because it gets very herbal but the dry down is soooo nice. Fresh, floral and uplifting! It reminds me a lot of 'Light blue' which I can't wear but this works for me, maybe because it is oranges instead of lemons. I ordered a sample and would definitely buy a full bottle. It's an easy reach perfume that is perfect for those who don't like overly 'perfumey' scents. It has a sporty preppy vibe and is definitely unisex. And yes there is a laundry cotton vibe but I love that smell. It feels like it could be a CK one flanker but this is better made in my opinion.

Is the name Real..? I think the joke is on us ! ie : So UNREAL. The bottle is fun and i like it but i dont need an ornament. I have tried a few times with this. No realistic fruits or flowers to my nose. And well, the Sorbet ? I dont sense that either - neither do i smell nice musks. Reviewer below is correct - cleaner type fluid. Insipid cleaner type, lemon like (if i can call it that) fluid. Dont waste your money. Look, you may be the lucky one it becomes something glorious, who knows.? Overall : Sadly , So UN-real AND Cheap, they got the Cheap bit right here. Pity coz i never likened "cheap" with others of that series.

I received a sample of this from Nordstrom, didn't even think to try it for a few months. I have it on today and I quite like it! It's fresh and floral to me, I feel like I have similar perfumes in my collection. I smell a bit of orange, but with some warmth to it! I looked at the price on the Nordstrom website and you can get a 3.4 oz for 89 dollars, seems like a great deal I am going to wear it the rest of the day and see if I might go buy it. I feel like it would project pretty well for an EDT, and if someone was wearing this and I gave them a hug, i'm sure I would think, " wow they smell good!"

This is not just a scent it is a work of art. An object, a wonderful winking gazing male or female:it could be you and me who appreciate the world of fragrances. And its a very disappointing face againts the mass production dominated this industry today.This is Moschino's face: heralding you have to be unusual and brave to stand out, never compromise, go on your own path... So in this sense of the word its very symbolic:and very Daliesque ,hint of Miro ,liitle bit Man Ray, totally surreal, utterly eye catching, visually off beat,batty artwork. Love at first sight!

Very realistic juicy mandarine. That with the sorbet reminds me of an orange creamsicle bodywash I got years ago from Whole Body. In a good way. Later you get the addition of some florals which don’t interest me so much, but the mandarin stays throughout thankfully. I think it would be nice for a refreshing, fun, spring or summer daytime scent. Having said that, I only have a sample, and don’t like this enough to want to purchase a full bottle. But I will enjoy using up the sample. I think if you are a mandarine lover you will like this a lot 🍊

A very clean, almost soapy earthy, green, natural scent with hints of sweet orange. It smells a lot like expensive milled soap that is sold wrapped in pretty brown paper with colorful designs printed on them. Like the ones they sell for like $5 a pop at Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Also a little like a very high end hair product. Like the Ouai hair conditioners. It's a really forgettable scent and in writing this review I had to re-sniff my wrist like 5 times because it's so boring I forgot it again and again. The lasting power is atrocious.

Cheiro de bala de limão! (Limão, o floral com a laranja amarga entona assim pra mim) Mas não é um doce enjoativo, é doce pra dias de verão que não quer ser diet. Esse Gelato de fruta deixa ele muito refrescante, do início ao fim, mantendo o dulçor. Cheiro doce pra quem não gosta de perfumes doces. É um carinho! Alegre, divertido, casual, descontraído, bem jovial e criativo. Os edts da Moschino fixam muito bem em mim, 6h nos pontos certos e sempre hidratada, um ventinho leve é suficiente pra dizer: "oi, estou aqui!" Se hidratem!

I purchased this the other day and I have to say that I absolutely love this. It is very fresh and citrusy so if that’s not your style you won’t like this at all. The bottle is cute too! I find it has a decent longevity and strength, not too over powering just right! Unfortunately since the only place to buy perfume aside from Winners who lets be real you never know what they will have if they have anything at all, is Shoppers Drug Mart, it cost $84 plus tax to get the 50ml size which is outrageous but I had to lol

This is a very inoffensive scent. It reminds me of the 90's, I am surprised by its 2017 launch date. It opens in bitter orange, creamy sorbet and immediately goes into the floral heart, in my opinion, really heavy magnolia. I get a whiff of the musk dry down...but not enough to make the oakmoss interesting like some older fragrances. This is really just a decent summer scent, but nothing terribly special. If someone wants to swap, I have a .3 oz rollerball available.

I find it underrated. So Real Cheap & Chic Moschino is a great beach companion, suitable for summer nights too, because it is sophisticated enough, behaves well, and keeps you fresh no matter what. Besides, it is subtle, but still noticeable in a good, not disturbing way. I admit that you should be into fresh, aquatic and citrus perfumes to appreciate this perfume fully. I hope it will be on the market for many more years :)

Non siamo davanti ad un capolavoro, non siamo davanti ad un profumo rivoluzionario, non siamo davanti ad un qualcosa di eclatante eppure però questo nuovo Moschino è davvero buono, io personalmente sento tantissimo la Magnolia, resa dolce dal lampone e altre diavolerie, in profumeria ha catturato la mia attenzione sicuramente complice il bellissimo packaging ma oltre a ciò, è davvero buono. Bravo Moschino! ❤️

Pretty plane fragrance. So Real tangerine, like juice [the best thing here is quickly eroding]. Floral scent [pink peony + magnolia + jasmine] are bitter and dry! Well. In the remainder, ambroxan, musk, oak moss, cedar, know, more cheap than chic. Have a good purchases. 🛍🎁

A beautiful scent, but the oakmoss makes it very herbal and a bit bitter. Joy Amin, a great perfume reviewer on YouTube sais it smells like a female version of Bvlgari's Acqua Amara. He's so right:) to me it has too much of a hairspray vibe, though.

This was a blind buy for me and i’m happy with it. For the first hour it smells like orange fanta or sherbert, then the dry down is a very inoffensive, clean, shampoo-like scent. The bottle is so cute and unique too

I have sampled it last night. It's very citrusy at the beginning, almost like a floor detergent. It's getting softer after a bit but Chic Petals and Chic I love love is so much better.
