Toy 2 Pearl

Really don't get the hate for this, I suppose it's another case of review-bombing. Discovered it earlier in 2024, instatly loved it and grandma gave it as birthday present. It's an interesting, long-lasting fresh fragrance for the high heat and very wearable for both genders. Opens with a strong, even overpowring, sweet lemon mousse that settles in after a few minutes, only to show it's main facet: a bona fide oregano accord with an underlying metalic vibe (believe that this is the listed sand accord?) that lasts throughout it's 9-10 hours performance. After the loud 40-something initial minutes of lemony dessert, the jasmine comes out in a fresh-tingy nuance, hanging along with the oregano through most of the drydown, making it more properly described as a fresh spicy white floral. Then, by the 5-6 hour, jasmine fades into a nice and soft musk still seasoned with oregano, only to end when showering after a hot summer evening stroll by the shore. Fragrance Notes Top Notes: Sorbet, Lemon, Oregano. Mid Notes: Sand, Freesia, Jasmine. Base Notes: Cypress, Vetiver, Musk. First thoughts, it's an Aromatic/Aquatic Sweet, mixed with Jasmine and Sand accords. - The opening begins with a airy lemon scent, mixed with Jasmine, creating a very aquatic light citrus lemon mixed with Jasmine notes. The mid and dry down has a sweet aromatic, Herbal and white floral scent. - I sprayed a total of 5 times. Twice behind each ear, twice on the front of neck, and once in front of my chest. The projection and longevity is really good, it lasts approximately 9 hours on my skin, and projects for about an hour before turning into a skin scent. (Depends on skin types) Overall Rating (8/10) - Toy 2 Pearl is a sweet aromatic, white floral dominated fragrance for both men and women. The sand accord makes this fragrance unique and definitely stands out with the other fragrances on the market. STOP fake comments. Pls

I grabbed them from David Jones Dept store for 100 ML. I bought this fragrance because they have a LEMON as a top note (Mostly use in Chanel’ fragrances for men). I believe that a citrusy scent gives wealth and prosperous benefits to the person who wears them. I am a big fan of a citrusy; so this perfume is for me. The smell of this fragrance is superb. For me, they smell so elegant, sophisticated, fresh, a bit musky (not too much) and more to men's scent. Not for ladies. Yes, they are a bit similar to Light Blue D&G and Chanel Allure For Men EDT, but I think they are more sharp and bold. I prefer this one. Long lasting on my skin and clothes. Approximately about 9 hours. I highly recommend a person who prefers citrusy scents like me. Good job, Moschino! Thumbs up!

this is my daily scent i get so many compliments wearing it i spray it at 8am before school and smell my pressure points like my wrist and i smell it at 9pm the same day, it lasts forever on my skin and clothes for example i once hugged someone and they complimented the scent, and again i was sitting with somebody and they complimented my perfume. this scent is a good perfume to blind buy and the scent notes are accurate its a summery scent that can go with a normal day out or a classy dinner and i 10/10 will repurchase hopefully the 100ml bottle this time instead of the 30ml i have currently! the scent doesnt change over time either its the same as when i first bought

Lemon sorbet with cypress and ocean notes with white flowers sweetness. Sweet white flowers in the back but balanced, just enough to make this scent feminine. I love this and can’t get enough of. Cypress, lemon with aquatic might sound masculine however sorbet and flowers give this scent feminine vibes. I think this is fresh and not choking even though it is quite intense and gives soap freshness sometimes. It stays forever on clothes much longer than on skin. I think this scent is good for every weather. It is not even close to D&G, I really don’t know where is this comparison from. D&G is choking lemon air freshener compared to Toy 2 pearl.

I don’t understand why this fragrance is getting so many bad reviews. I love it, I hope it doesn’t get discontinued. I can’t imagine anyone being bothered by this. It’s so fresh, juicy, clean and irresistible. So different and authentic compared to other boring designers being created today. It lasts all day with only a few sprays, plus I receive many compliments each time (which doesn’t happen too often with other designer fragrances). Maybe people expect something else seeing the bottle, it also took me by surprise in the beginning, but I couldn’t care less about the bottle when this fragrance is a true gem.

NICE!! I got a sample and later that day ordered a full bottle. I won't pretend that this is a crowd-pleaser fragrance, because it evidently isn't, and I'm okay with that. I have to give kudos to Moschino for experimenting so much with a major fragrance release. Very fresh and scrumptious fragrance - I think the oregano note helps instead of hindering that - and it's so refreshing, it's perfect for warm weather. This is the first time Moschino has convinced me to get a full bottle of one of their fragrances, and I can't wait to rock it. Also, those oregano chips people keep talking about sound good.

Citrusy, bright lemon with a herbal touch and an aromatic background. Picture a fairly sweet lemon sorbet with something like oregano gently muddled underneath. The sweetness isn't a gourmand cloying straight ethyl maltol bomb, it's more like a highlight, something to round everything up and smooth it out. I don't smell any "sand", but there is a very slight saltiness to it. Very unisex, very inoffensive and honestly a great wear for a beach day. It reminds me of early 00s summers. 8/10. I'd want it to be a little more sweet and lemony, but that's just my personal preference. xD

So many people saying they like the other Toys and were upset about this because it’s nothing like the others and blah blah blah... This is the Gold Fresh Couture of the Toy line. IYKYK. Test before you buy. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Now that that’s out of the way... Yes, this is a good perfume! Nice and inoffensive, without being too boring. Average EDT performance. Not gourmand by any means (no, you don’t smell like a pizza in the hot sun lmao). Balanced, fresh, aromatic.

Bought this in the Moschino boutique in Paris this week. This is one of my favorite citrus fragrances so far. It's sweet, fresh but warm at the same time. Very unique and refreshing combination. It reminds me of a citrus macaron or cake, to describe it more specific. Longevity: long lasting Sillage: between moderate and strong The fun part about the bottle is that every bottle has unique colors. The campaign is beautiful as well! Moschino does camp at its best.

I actually like this a lot. It does have an oregano scent initially but it doesn't last long. It also doesn't remind me of Italian food. This is very fresh to start then woody. It could be a candle scent. It doesn't last as long as the original but it does stick around for several hours. Especially on clothes. This was a blind buy and I think it is pretty safe. The bottle and packaging gives a feminine vibe but it is definitely more masculine.

I really surprised when I smell this for the first time it smells so unique and adorable. I think it's unisex, as a man I would enjoy wearing it, it's suitable for summer and spring maybe for indoor environments. Bottle design could be a big no for a lot of people, but personally I think, it's cute and it's good to have variety in collection not all bottles look like this. longevity and projection are pretty good for summer fragrance.

This is very nice, fresh, citrusy, woody and slightly sweet perfume, but not gourmand sweet. I think it is great for summer. The only thing that bothers me is that sweetness that reminds me of flowers, and i really don’t like flowers in perfumes. But it is really nice, maybe it is good to start with smaller bottle or sample, and then see how it goes. This is maybe the best Moschino perfume

this is perfection in a bottle! bright, fresh yet cosy. and the drydown is very similar to the dior homme sport very cool spray so i think it's actually more masculine than feminine, but whatever. 10/10 ps: the oregano note stays for about 2m58s. which is perfectly fine.

Literally OBSESSED with the cool bottle. Looks fun and exciting. Love the scent too: Smells nice and citrusy with a hint of spiciness coming from the oregano note. Like having fresh lemonade while walking down the beach and it’s totally unisex.

I tried it and as a Light Blue lover, I had to immediately buy it. It's fresh, simple, super unisex. A no brainer for summer. The bottle is super unique. I believe is a one time purchase but a beautiful incorporation for my collection.

Smells very much like Versace Versense, and, to a lesser extent, D&G Light Blue pour Femme. I love it! Refreshing cold citrus, like pouring a bucket of icy citrus on oneself at the beach, without the saltiness. Just what I like.

I didn't expect to like this perfume, but it gives a lemony salty smell that it's just delicious, the oregano adds a little something different to the scent. For me it ́s an ideal summer fragrance.

This is so MUSKY and delicious and FRESH. It literally smells like a beach but in a clean and stunning way. A fire summery fragrance; gotta add that the bottle is fire and attractive as well.

Chic and contemporary; a "clean scent" with a fun twist. I'm thankful for whatever magic Moschino did to not make these accords disappear instantly on my skin!

One of my favourite fragrances in my collection. Beautiful lemon, gormant fragrance. Fairly long lasting. I got about 7 hours.

This reminds me of Mac Turquatic and L'eau Par Kenzo had a baby and sprinkled it with freesia infused oregano lemoncello!

I finally managed to get the sample (1ml)- the card it's packed into looks very nice printed with the iridescent paint. To test the scent I used a single spritz on the top of my forearm and here's what I got: the opening is very bright, citruses play the main role, it's just slightly sweet, no bitter bits nor overly sour. The opening is very similar to the opening to Costume national Cyber Garden. There is an underlay of something matte like leather ( perhaps the sand note) or/and a particle of vinyl, which does not evolve and pronounce itself any further beyond this hint. Not bothersome or unpleasant. Just there. Also this is there only when you actually try to look for other notes and I guess they won't matter when wearing the scent on a daily basis. I did not recognise any of the other notes besides the citruses and sorbet. Maybe the sweetness comes from the vetiver? The profile is pleasant, easy going, smooth. Definitely summery. Not revolutionary in any way but solid. I would rank it as more feminine but easy to pull off by anyone. I could smell the fragrance for 3h easily ( with only a single puff ) but also it's freezing here where I live so the longevity and the way how I perceive this may change with the seasons.I could easily see myself buying a whole bottle for the summer. EDIT: Now, when the temperatures are above 6degC and more sun comes through, I decided to put Pearl through a second test. This time I applied more and I get the oregano, which in the cold weather wasn't prominent at all. Most of the previous review holds up except now I think the scent has more facettes than I thought earlier. EDIT 2: Even warmer outside (12degC). I applied twice on the top of my forearm at 7.30. It went strong for 6h and even later after that it kept popping up until 5p.m.! By 8p.m. I could still easily detect it close to skin. Very impressive! With warmer weather, to me, it feels more fitting men than ladies, but that's just a subjective judgement.

I had my eye on this fragrance since it came out and I finally managed to grab a bottle thanks to a crazy flash sale, unluckily it was a complete blind buy since I could NEVER find a tester wherever I'd go. First off, the bottle is adorable, although I don't think it really gives away the vibe of a pearl and I believe the whole "oil spill" aesthetic was a little out of fashion in 2023. The perfume itself starts with a heavy citrusy note (I can definitely understand the comparison with D&G's Light Blue or even Moschino's own C&C I Love Love) and when the more zesty part of it goes away I totally get the creamier sorbet scent. After a while I get the oregano note too, which is the one that mostly lingers on my skin without being too heavy, I guess because it's sweetened by the white flowers? Unluckily I can't smell anything marine related, but it might just be me! Overall I find it to be a very cute, fresh perfume, perfect for summer. The only thing that disappoints me really is how the bottle's aesthetic, marketing and juice seem to clash in my opinion, but at the end of the day that doesn't matter. If you're into fresh and aromatic scents give this one a try, it's really not as bad as some reviews painted it to be!

Citrus aromatic with marine undertones. Opens citrussy and aromatic with a sweet-floral and earthy background. Has an impression of something marine-like, similar to a fruity bubblebath. Notes of sweets/candies, maybe faint notes of caramel? Starts to develop a banana-esque note on the skin (my skin) and then spicy aromas (oregano is listed but it's closer to coriander.) Retains the marine-like notes and has a rosey nuance too. It's still citrus-lemony with something else resembling Parma Violets. Has the occasional waft of pear and melon before it quietens down to a peppery amber scent. Vetiver is noticeable in the drydown as well. Unisex leaning feminine, good for summer days, fine for the office. It's modern so best for ages 18-40(ish.) Performance is good, longevity as a skin scent is 6-8hrs. It's different, certainly has at least one nostril in the future but is pretty nice, and definitely more approachable than Toyboy. I think the Light Blue comparisons are fair but Toy2Pearl is more interesting and modern. I also believe that the perfumer/s have nailed the brief and (unlike so many modern scents) this fits the name and bottle well.

This is a lovely fresh citrus unisex perfume, I think it leans slightly more masculine to my nose but that’s just personal taste I think. I really get the sorbet and lemon when I first apply but the oregano is also detectable. I have only just started to take a real interest in fragrance so often I can really only detect one or two notes as my nose isn’t trained yet but with this one all of the top notes feel very individual and I can smell them all. The sand and freesia seem to come through quite quickly after application, although I don’t think I can detect the jasmine too much but maybe a little. I can definitely already begin to discern the musky/woody base notes after less than an hour of applying but the top and heart notes are also still present. I’m pleasantly surprised by this one, I would never have picked it up due to the bottle not really appealing to me but the smell is really unusual and nice. It really reminds me of something nostalgic but I can’t quite put my finger on the memory just yet.

I agree with most comments here. To add some detail: it is very clean, calm, and pleasant. While it doesn't smell entirely natural, it is far from a synthetic mess (it’s actually very well-blended imo). The opening is a smooth citrus. For me, the sorbet note feels more musky than 'icy,' which provides a great clean feeling. It isn't too sweet or 'girly' as I initially feared; it is quite masculine-leaning and shared, much more masculine than the typical Mancera unisex style. The scent moves from that musky lemon sorbet to soft white florals and finishes as a unique, salty clean musk. Regarding value, the performance is average on skin, which is more than normal for this type of fresh fragrance (but on the shirt the whole day, I'm impressed!). Pro Tip: Don't pay retail! You can often find the 3.4oz tester (which includes the bear head cap!) for around $35 online at discounters.

Powdered lemonade drink mix in a freshly cleaned kitchen. I mostly get a sweet lemon with hints of green, which could be oregano, cypress/pine/other conifer (or pine sol), an herb garden or some generic "mountain fresh" scent. And I don't get the "sorbet" note...since sorbet is simple syrup + fruit, does that just mean that it's sweetened? Because it is, but there is no menthol, mint or anything that gives off a frozen vibe. It dries down with a bit of dry warmth that could be the sand or vetiver. But I do like this for what it is. It is bright and clean and perfect for a summer day. Yes, it's very artificial and not photorealistic at all, but probably smells a lot better than squeezing lemons and crushing oregano all over your skin.

I smelled the fragrance soon after its release, after it was available in my country stores and I must say I was pretty impressed, but I kinds thought the scent was too basic and citrusy. However a few weeks ago it started popping up on my feed and I really felt the urge to buy it and I must say that this is anything but basic, its a very beachy and mysterious all year fragrance, office friendly, non cloying, it puts a spicy unisex twist on the beloved Creed Aventus DNA, its amazing. I would describe this fragrance as invigorating, the sand and oregano notes can really be felt in the dry down and its really a masterpiece, very underrated fragrance(btw the signature Moschino Toy Bear bottle is a 10/10😉)

My sister was wearing the sample for this one and I complimented it and asked what she was wearing and I thought to myself I actually like this one. The citrus in this smells refreshing. In the notes it says “lemon” 🍋 but I also smell some orange / mandarin in it as well for some reason? Good for summer and spring, but can also be suitable for fall. This definitely smells unisex, I don’t see it leaning more masculine or feminine. SMELLS A BIT / REMINDS ME OF: Dolce and Gabanna light blue but this one has a less overpowering citrus smell and is more balanced with other notes.

it only smells no.4711 or aventus adjacent in the first 2 seconds, but as the citrus and herbal bitterness fades, its mostly aquatic, maybe a bit ozonic. bubblegummy, sun lotion-y, soapy. cirtrus peeping through at times. familar,... plastic shelter from the sun, fancy open air shopping areas in west malaysia, sunway geo? it must be that it shares a widely used parfum ingredient in asian skincare products. this is what makes it smell so simultaneously nostalgic, agreeable and generic. i have a tiny 5ml bottle of this and i find the teddy motif adorable

Hilariously ended up with two bottles of this, a 30ML from my friends and a 100ML from my boyfriend. I ended up giving the 30ml one to them to use at the office, and it is SUCH a good perfume for a corporate atmosphere! I can still smell the scent when they come home, which is really good longevity wise. The scent does stay close to the skin so I only get a whiff when I'm hugging them. Great choice esp if you work with people who may be sensitive to strong scents. The green profile also just makes this a wonderfully refreshing one to wear in the day.

I took a chance and blind bought Toy 2 Pearl hoping it would be something as amazing as Toy Boy. I was underwhelmed by Toy 2 Pearl. I didn't hate it but I didn't really like it and decided to never blind buy a fragrance ever again. Months later, spring is now here, and I was in the mood for something fresh to wear to work and Toy 2 Pearl fit the bill. It's a fragrance I didn't know I needed. It's clean and fresh but not in the typical way other fragrances are. I can honestly say I like Toy 2 Pearl and will wear it more often. It really performs too.

Clean, fresh, citrusy, floral, soapy. I think it’s okay. I do sense the Cyprus and basically every note listed... like some others said it had a Dolce and Gabbana light blue vibe but there’s something about this that seems more woodsy and masculine. It almost seems like a it’s mot a complete perfume but more of an essential oil blend with the soapyness of fresh laundry. Also, I really don’t feel that the marketing and packaging match the actual fragrance? There’s also a mild synthetic tone that is not great.

This is zingy fresh! I smell lemon and lemon. The oregano popped its head out for a couple minutes, and now it’s back to lemon but softer. Like smelling an unsliced lemon underneath a lemon tree next to a sunny herb garden. I don’t really smell the florals. Maybe a subtle freesia for a bit. My son says it smells like soap. I think he’s right - like lemon dish soap. This isn’t sweet. And it becomes a skin scent pretty quickly. After an hour or so it’s a quiet aquatic. I’d like this on hot and humid days. 🍋

Just tested today. Still on my skin, 3-4 hours in. The Oregano-lemon accord goes through the entire fragrance. if you are sensitive to oregano maybe this is not for you. The fragrance itself is really lovely and a bit out of the box like everything from this collection. It becomes a scent of skin after 2 hours. If you want to smell a bit different and you don't have a problem with Herbal scents. If you find something like Oxygen by Lanvin interesting, this may be for you.

This is the typical "light blue" esque scent, but I like the creamy vibe. Maybe from the sorbet? It's very fresh and has decent longevity. I think anyone can wear this, layer this, and if you enjoy the TOY 2 line, it's a cute bottle to go with the others. Toy 2 and Toy 2 bubblegum still reign supreme for me, however, Pearl is a cute addition! Layer with Toy 2 and thank me later - WOW! My next test is layering Pearl with the Bubblegum - may be another hit!

So, I just sampled it in Sephora. It's gorgeous! A very sophisticated take on the Light Blue scent profile, much stronger than both the old Cheap & Chic I Love Love by the same brand and the D&G EDT, related more to Light Blue Eau Intense, which also has a notable White Musk note. It isn't juicy fruity aquatic, but elegant floral fruity musky, more like a stylish evening version of Cheap & Chic/Light Blue. Highly recommend!👌

From a teddy bear with a holographic design, I would expect many things - but definitely not an Italian restaurant. And after a few hours, the fragrance leaves a metallic trace that bothers me. Yet despite that, it’s an interesting summer perfume that somehow still lifts my mood ☀️. It reminds me of Italian holidays by the sea, in citrus‐chypre groves, sand, a lemon 🍋sorbet in one hand and a slice of pizza 🍕in the other.

Why the oregano note?? I'm Greek and a common delicacy here are oregano flavored chips. This is what a bit of this smells like to me. Not to mention... There's a "lifehack" we do here in Greece. Whenever we have diarrhea we boil oregano in water and drink it. This smells as if I put this drink all over me. Absolutely not. It's not that I hate this perfume, it's just that I hate any oregano note. Not cool. Ew.

I'd happily recommend this to anyone who enjoys cedar and citrus, the scent is very summery but the fragrance itself has survived in the cold personally for me and the cedar smell doesn't make it completely out of place, it's a safe choice for the warm season and a solid yet adventurous one for the winter

Very refreshing, I usually find Fragrances like this boring but the sorbet in this is delicious, but still .. I can't see myself paying the asking price for something like this. it's the absolutely unique & cute bottle which makes it worth it I guess if you're a collector. I'd love the bottle too😭

This is surprisingly nice. It’s soapy and fresh but with a nice herbal touch. It’s clean and joyful. The oregano here is really great, green and relaxing. I think it’s a great choice for summer and not already done a thousand times. Thumbs up!

Good, summery perfume, not to basic, unisex, used it on vacation once and really liked it. Unfortunately not long lasting, typical for note profile. I liked the lotion (from the sample testing set i got) better - better longevity on skin.

Very nice! Candied lemon opening gets a little green and I can also pick up the "sand" note. Kinda reminds me of Mancera Wave Musk but nicer, in my opinion. Not disappointed in this blind buy. This will be great for the warmer days.😁
